We have been using them since 2013 and have always been able to rely on their expertise and high quality work for the money. Great and reliable work on both gas and diesel engines.

Ive been frequenting this establishment for over 5 years now for my Accord. Theyve always been courteous, professional, and timely with their repairs. Theyre also honest about what is or is not required and dont push unnecessary work. As far as I can tell, the prices have always been reasonable. I recently moved out to Morrison but Im still willing to make the drive because I trust that theyll do a good job.

They did a good job looking over our car and recommended only what was needed. No high pressure sales. The repairs they performed are good with no issue.

Our car was towed here after having transmission and cooling system issues in the mountains. After a diagnosis all that was needed was to flush and fill both. We were able to drive home 16 hours without a problem. Thank you.

I trust these guys with everything including my diesel. They put a new transmission, all new steering gearbox, and new brakes including new brake lines on my old school suburban. Then I had my diesel injectors go bad and they were able to fix it before my big move. These guys worked hard even short handed and stayed late to help me out. They deserve six stars cuz they went above and beyond the normal service to help poor me having so many problems before a big move cross country. Thank you guys so much.

When I bought my used car it had 60,000 miles on it, with Stephens guidance, AJs and all the other expert technicians  abilities and assistance at Golden Auto Clinic, they have kept my vehicle rolling for another 83,000 miles! Yep, Ive got 143,000 plus on my vehicle and they keep it rolln and me going! This auto clinic has the knowledge, professional skills and integrity we all seek when needing routine maintenance or repairs for our vehicles. Ive had two oil changes and a front brake pads replaced in my Acura. Everything has been done perfectly.

I had my 1998 Ford Explorer towed into Golden Auto Clinic, as the transmission had given up. Golden Auto Clinic got the transmission back up and operating enough so that I could take the car to a used car lot and trade it in on another much newer automobile. And the price was very reasonable.

I have used them for years on 3 different vehicles with great success.

Golden auto clinic replaced both door key locks (that had been damaged by attempted theft) in about a third of the estimated time. Excellent service as is the norm from these folks.

I have found their customer service to be outstanding. Their shop to be impeccable. And their service honest.

Updated Review - Second time going into Golden Auto Clinic- I dropped my car off for the appointment I had at 9AM for front Control Arm replacement on a 07 Ford Fusion. They finally got back to me at 2:30 this afternoon, with a quote of $995 out the door for Front Lower Control Arms replacement, and alignment. Thats almost 1/4 the value of the car!! They also wouldnt get the service taken care of today, and Id have to leave it for a undetermined amount of time. Isnt that why I made an appointment and dropped my car off right away in the morning? I called around a little, got much lower quotes elsewhere for the exact same service. I called Golden Auto Clinic back, and they wouldnt lower their price to match. I ended up paying the $77 *diagnostic fee* (They didnt diagnose anything, I made the appointment specifically for control arm replacement) that I was figuring would roll over into the price of the service and labor, just to get my car back.Cant really recommend Golden Auto Clinic, unfortunately. My truck broke down on my way to Golden CO from California. Luckily I broke down in Vail so I was able to get the truck towed to Golden Auto Clinic and they were able to repair my truck in a day! They have excellent customer service and kept me updated throughout the process and helped me get back on the road.

Ran into some car trouble headed west on 70! Glad I happened to call Golden Auto Clinc! The manager Stephen was very kind and thorough. He made sure everything I wanted checked out on my car got done! After they sent me on my way, I had a smooth trip through the Rockies! Worked here for a short time a while back. If you want someone to do the repair right...they will get it done, but what I experienced was that you would buy every possible part to do that job. RARELY NECESSARY! ALWAYS PUSHED while I was there. This environment of HIGH DOLLAR HARD SELL is not my style and moved on as soon as I found an honest shop to work at. NOT RECOMMENDED, but does succeed at car repairs.

Broke down in the Colorado Rockies with our SUV and trailer, tore up Serpentine belt. Called a couple of places which would take our car but didn’t have room for our trailer, we didn’t know what to do. Mike, Stephen and the rest of the gang were just awesome, we not only got our repairs all done but we were able to camp there while it was happening. Dropped it off on the day of my appointment however they did not even look at for a couple days. Took 3 days just to get final diagnosis and quote.

A few weeks ago my daughter took her car to Golden Auto Clinic for an oil change. She was pleased with the work, in fact my husband and I took our truck for an oil change also. We were pleasantly surprised with the small town service.Move forward 3 weeks and my daughter drops her car off again on a Sunday for an overheating problem. She did not hear from them for two days, she calls on Tuesday early afternoon. She was told that she needed a radiator flush, hoses and a new radiator. She asked how much and was quoted $680. So lets be clear... right off the mechanic said it needs to be flushed, it will need new hoses and it needs a new radiator. Right away my daughter asks how much will this cost?...mechanic $680.00 ... daughter ok please do the work. I was with my daughter when she made the call, she and I discussed at length what she needed to do to pay the $680. She is a very young adult trying to pay her own way.She goes to pick up her car Wednesday afternoon and the bill is $980, she questioned this right away.. and was told that the radiator alone was $680 and that did not include the flush and hoses.. she insisted that was not the quote... and they say sorry but thats the costs. They said the best they could do was a $30 credit. This is NOT good enough.So my husband goes to the shop to question the quote.. the mechanic blamed my daughter, claiming she did not understand the conversation. I sat next to her during the call... so I guess both of us didnt understand the conversation. This shop had the opportunity to make this right, they did nothing... we live in this community and support our small businesses, however this shop has lost her business, our business, and everyone we can tell this story to.

DO NOT let these dishonest mechanics touch your car. I brought my car here a while ago for a failed emissions (high hydrocarbon levels). Golden Auto Clinic tried to charge me $800+ to replace my catalytic converter- I recognized something was up immediately (The catalytic converter would not fix the root of a hydrocarbon problem, it would only do a half-baked job of treating the symptoms). I brought my car to a different shop, they replaced the spark plugs and the car passed emissions- It was much cheaper to boot! less than $100 labor included if I remember correctly.

We were traveling on our way to a family reunion. The gentleman that helped us was very polite and super helpful. They managed to fix our leaky radiator and even came up with a way to reroute things with the car to knock 4 hours off the repair time to make sure we wouldnt miss our familys reunion. I would highly recommend them. Very friendly and polite people.

I have used golden auto on both of our vehicles with great satisfaction. one my work truck they have personally changed the engine. along with regular maintenance. i have had no issues so far. customer service has always been professional and work is always done in a very timely manner. just had tie rod ends replaced, had the truck back to me that evening.

Very unhappy with the charges they are charge here. Was quoated $590 to replace a U joint on my truck which is only 1 hour of work with a $54 part. Took it some place else and found out both U joint were bad. So I am guessing they would of charged me $590 for one and $590 for another one a few months later. Ended up getting both replaced for $175 at a shop as small as theirs. On top of it they charge $70 to just look at it. Stay clear of this place if you can.

Just wanted to thank the guys at Golden Auto for being so helpful. I had a vehicle fall apart while I was visiting from AZ and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently and get me back on the road, even staying a little late to do so. This is a great hometown auto store. If you talk straight to them and tell them you only need one thing fixed, they respect that and give you a fair price on the repair. I have gotten various services performed on my GM car, all of which I was satisfied with. If anyone has complaints, try getting a quote elsewhere and you will realize this place has the lowest prices.

Went to Golden auto repair yesterday first time to get an oil change and air filter. They were pleasant and nice. Later that day my air-conditioning completely stopped working. Stopped blowing cold air. From reading the reviews I’m not too sure but it’s questionable if it’s something they did lead to my AC not working. Maybe loosening the Freon bolt or a hose? Very questionable for sure but not after reading the reviews. I’ll take it to Myles auto in Lakewood to confirm.

Reliable service at a decent price. The turnaround on repairs is also excellent. However they tend to want to replace a part when it just needs a sealant job.

Work completed well, on time, and as quoted. Friendly courteous people. They also have loaner cars when you need to leave vehicle for more then one day; just book repairs in advance to make sure availability on day needed. Their prices are average fees. We took my fiances pick up there. I called ahead to make sure they had a diesel mechanic, and they did. They did a diagnostic and quoted us $2200. I told them I was going to get a second opinion and then they became really rude! I took the truck to Branch Automotive in Centennial. They did the same diagnosis and came up with about 6 issues! None of which were the same as what Golden Auto Clinic had diagnosed! We spent $5600 on repairs and were Satisfied!!!!!! Long story short: Golden Auto Clinic tried to bill us for a job that didnt need to be completed! We live close and purchased one of the discount sheets their representative went around the neighborhood selling! I have since this experience thrown it away! Who cares I lost $60, I sure dont because it saved me in the long run of bad business practices! Before this experience I was a cheerleader, I even recommended several people to them who actually were customers! Not anymore!!!!!

Still looking for an honest mechanic. I had some minor brake work done, and a tire rotation. The work was fine, but when I questioned charging me for a tire rotation when they already had all the wheels off for the brake work, they were insistent that there was labor involved. Really, $22 labor for putting the wheels back on in a different pattern? I wouldve been a returning client, had they made an honest concession. Instead, they milked a first time customer, never to return.

I have to say I am so very pleased to have found an honest mechanic for my Santa Fe. I had the car at AAMCO and they couldnt get it started, much less fixed, didnt charge me anything, but it took them over 3 weeks to admit they couldnt figgure it out, so I had it towed to Golden Auto Clinic. Not only did they hook me up with a tow company that was affordable, they were able to fix my car at less than what their original estimate was.... they were absolutely looking our for their customer!

Nice people and great service. I never had any issues with them. I bring my Toyota Corolla 2015, Chrysler Sebring and my new Lexus here for oil change and service.

Terrible people and service. They completed a pre-purchase inspection for a used car. They missed a pre-existing broken radiator. Two other mechanics indicated how blatantly obvious it was and clearly pre-existing from the dried fluid. I called and the manager immediately launched into deflecting and being unaccountable. He then hung up the phone on me. When I called back, he put me on hold for over 6 mins and refused to talk. Just garbage people and service. Acted like a true slimy snake oil salesperson. I couldnt be more disgusted and I regret not listening to all the other reviews that describe this place as garbage.

I was in this place with my car broken, I was disappointed because the guy in the front desk really lacks of customer service skills, they didnt attend me good, even though the car required a major repair ($1800). The adjustment they budgeted for my car was overpriced, I got a good repair and a lower price in another place. I cant judge the quality of the work (probably is good because the price) but after the attention I received in the front desk I decided to take the car to another repair shop in Denver.

WARNING!!! Do not go to this shop!!! First of all they did not give us a written estimate when all we requested was an inspection. Once we were told what the cost would be at $119 p/hr we shopped around for a better hourly rate and found another shop for only $90 p/hr. When we called back to say we would be taking the vehicle elsewhere we were informed that the work was done and we owed $800. When we refused to pay they held our vehicle ransom. Not until we got the police involved did they agree to lower the hourly rate and release the vehicle. According to BBB we are not the first clients this has happened to. BEWARE...

Honestly, Im disappointed. My sons 96 Suby broke down because the clutch went, so AAA towed it to Golden Auto Clinic, where over $1k was put into a new clutch and some other minor work. When I was driving the car home, it seemed okay. However, the next day I was driving it to get it detailed so we could sell it and on the way, I noticed that the stick shift was getting oddly loose - the car was in gear, yet the stick shift was wobbling around; and then, it came loose entirely! I panicked, naturally! Its not exactly a warm fuzzy feeling to have a major part of a car come undone like that - especially one that had just been repaired 2 days before!! The car was still in gear, I believe third but I cant really know for sure since the stick was no longer attached. I managed to drive it home, and immediately left a message asking someone to call me 1st thing Monday morning to have it towed and repaired. Well, Monday morning came, and I did not get a call. I phoned the shop and the receptionist was quite short with me, telling me I would have to have the car towed in... AS IF! I ended up talking to Mike, who sent a tow truck to get the vehicle. It sat at Golden for another week, and when I picked it up - NO APOLOGY, no show of remorse or desire to make me a happy customer - I mean, come on, when you send a car out the door, dont you want to make sure the damn linkage is, well, linked??? I was quite insulted as I was barely acknowledged by the man behind the desk, who rather snappishly said the keys were in the car.Now dont get me wrong, I am not blaming them for making a mistake - everybody makes mistakes. What bugs me is that not one person said sorry, not one person was willing to make right on it without having to be asked - I was the one who had to insist that the car be towed, I was the one who had to make the phone call. And I really felt like I was inconveniencing them for asking that the car be repaired properly!I wont be using Golden Auto Clinic in the future and I will not recommend it either. Sorry, guys - a simple sorry would have made all the difference in the world.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! THEY WILL SCREW YOU! The Quincy location is terrible. They are rude, inconsiderate and generally dont give a d@$% about customer service. I purchased a coupon book for $79 prior to their grand opening since they are right down the street. Upon my first visit, I was treated so poorly I swore I would never return, free oil change or not. They gave me a laundry list of things that needed repair. Even tried to sell me parts that didnt belong on my car! Several months later I thought perhaps I would give them another try. NOPE, they were so rude on the phone, I will absolutely never return. I will tear the coupone book in little pieces and and send it to them with my regards. Too bad for them because I have two vehicles that need maintenance and repairs. Well over $1500 worth of work between the two. Ill take my business to a mechanic that actually has integrity.

Fried the engine in my Subaru Outback and had it taken here. Had to replace the engine. These guys found a used engine for the replacement and did a great job getting the engine swap done.

A very pushy salesmen wanted me to give him a check for oil change discounts. I told him thank you and then insisted I was being disrespectful. I listened to you speech and heard what you had to say, I am just not giving you money when you show up at my door.

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Overpriced, terrible customer service, and they were unable to fix the main issue. Oh, and they left a set of pliers on top of my battery when it was ready to be picked up. As uneasy as ALL of that made me feel, nothing compared to the experience I had with the owner, I believe(?). He made me feel small and he used my cell number to text me about a review that my friend wrote (that I didnt even know about until he texted me..) in which he told me to grow up among other things and threats so the review would be taken down. I didnt completely agree with the review my friend wrote (I actually never even saw what it fully said) and it did get taken down, but it still didnt give him the right to text me the way that he did. Ive never dealt with someone so unprofessional. Im genuinely worried hes going to text me again after reading this, but I feel like people should know who theyre doing business with. I bought a coupon book of oil changes from here. The books are worth it but everything else is questionable. While no one is rude or deliberately negligent they dont seem to have a clue what is going on or how to do preventative work.Ive brought my car in for squeaky breaks that they cant hear. They checked breaks started fluttering on the way home. Next time the car was brought in for an oil change the rotors were warped. I scheduled appointments and been told they wont get to my car that day. Requested to be dropped off at work (10 mins away) when scheduling the appointment then told no one is available or they dont do that.Most recently, I brought my car in stating the AC stopped working. They fix a hose leak. The next time I turn my car on the AC doesnt work. I bring it back but they dont have a record of the service less than a week before and fix the AC motor. A few weeks later I can smell Freon so I bring it back again. This time they say they found another hose leak. I brought my car home and refuse to return. I can accept a bit if bad luck but I no longer trust this auto clinic.

Had my car towed here because it was a recommended shop by AAA. Wasnt very pleased with the service. I have a 91 Jeep and I needed the problem diagnosed. Those familiar with older Jeeps know there isnt a whole lot that can go wrong as they are fairly basic. It took almost two weeks for them to diagnose the problem and cost just short of $350. They quoted another $1000 to fix. After doing a little research, I found the part myself and installed it for under $250. Personally, I wouldnt recommend them to my friends or family.

Have used these guys for oil changes and maintenance for two years. Probably 10 oil changes. Upon an actual problem (water pump for Toyota Highlander) which we heard the noise and told them exactly where it was coming from, the failed to look at it while the car was in for the oil change. Upon leaving the car for the second day, they quoted a price of $1400 for the water pump replacement. I have a friend in the auto repair industry in Denver (which is a 30 minute drive from Golden, and very difficult to leave a car that far away with a family) we try and work with locals. However, I always call him for his thoughts. His quote was $600. I tried to meet in the middle with GAC, they said there was nothing they could do to lower the price, so we made the trip to Denver and shuttled cars. Oh, and they charged ~$69 to diagnose the water pump issue, even though I told them where. All it takes is a stethoscope to find the rattle.That is the back story. Today, the tire pressure monitor system light went on. The cap on the passenger rear tire was super glued on. The valve stem broke off upon using a wrench to remove the cap, because it was glued on. Although when I called to tell you about my dissatisfaction that day, the boy who answered the phone said Mike is no longer here. He did not offer to take a message or to ask you to call back. So, given the poor service, I took it that you had move on. I corrected that entry on my review as soon as I learned the truth from you. I have had my truck into you on three occasions but you were only able to do the work on two of them. You referred me elsewhere for the other visit. TRUE STATEMENT STATEMENT.When I made my fruitless appointment over the phone, I listed the malfunctioning window and the front end rattle. When I dropped the truck off, I added the leak in the diff and xfer case seals. You didnt recommend anything. It was I who brought it to your attention. Brian (I believe his name was) said you would look into it. But how could you look into it when you did not bring the truck indoors until well after noon. TRUE STATEMENTI dropped off a truck with a working radio. I picked it up and it was no longer functioning. NO ONE called me to get a code. I gave the code to your young man personally when I arrived at your shop. He was not able to repair the radio but I was while sitting in your lot that evening. Had to do it myself.Rather than wasting time defending yourself, Mike; perhaps you should try improving the caliber of service you provide. There are 17 reviews of your service (yes, I know the title says 19 but there are only 17 when you count them.) and 10 of them are two stars or below. Your average score is just that, 2.5, average. I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with your shop so look to yourself and not to others for your failings.

I went to this place about 3 months ago. The sales manager was one of the rudest people I have ever met. When I told him I needed a list of what they looked at in my car he became defensive and argumentative. I just wanted to know because they didnt complete the work and I was going to have to go elsewhere. I didnt want to have to repay for the same services at a new place. Rude people who overcharge. Will not go back.

Brian the service manager is very knowledgeable and polite. He was able to inform me (someone who knows very little) about what was wrong, and how urgent the repair was. Dont bother. What kind of car place cant install an oil filter? Oil leaked everywhere and they said it was a faulty filter. Obviously a lie to cover their own mistake. Please listen to all the reviews. Dont waste your time with this dishonest place.

These guys are awesome !! its unfortunate that other people have left reviews about a bad experience in regards to this shop but i had nothing but a great experience with these guys my car broke down and aaa towed me to these guys and they worked around the clock staying late to finish my repairs and they went above and beyond for me! so take those other reviews with a grain of salt because i would definitely be back to that shop again if i ever brake down in denver again. Thanks Golden Auto Clinic !!

These guys did the laundry list to me twice. The first time, I believed them and shelled out $3300.00. The second time, when they described all of the things that were wrong and came up with almost the exact same amount, I checked with another mechanic, who told me that half of the items were fine and the car didnt even have one of the parts in it because it was too old. These guys are dishonest and will clean you out if you let them. Shame on me for letting them fool me the first time.

STAY AWAY!!! I bought a package of oil changes for about $19.00 each. Every time I went in, they tried to sell me a bunch of work I didnt need. Once, they told me I needed a new battery, so I got it tested at an auto parts store, where it tested just fine. 50,000 miles later, it is still running strong. Eventually I realized that the GAC was lying and went to the Corner Mechanic instead, who charges a little more for labor but they are honest. If you get work done here, you will end up getting work done you dont need anyway, so save yourself some grief and stay away.

I Have never been so happy with the work and customer service from the gentlemen at Golden Auto Clinic. I recently went in with my car to have a headlight and oil chance. A young man named Brian helped me along with his Co_worker Steven. These men had great attitude towards there how to fix my problem immediately.

Also still looking for a helpful honest mechanic. Brought my car in for an oil change. Received the typical long list of fluid flushes, etc that are usually tacked on. One thing seemed actually needed- a leak in the engine. I tried to get them to provide me a clear understanding of what was needed to accurately identify the source of the leak and received no clear answer. What I was told in the store was different from when I called to schedule another appointment. On top of that, when I questioned the variance in diagnostic approaches they hung up on me. No wonder there are so many poor reviews of this place.

Stay away from The Golden Auto Clinic! !!! I fot a oil change and some other work done. $550 later and 6 miles from the shop my car breaks down. Now i have a major transmission leak when i had zero leak issues before. This place will guarantee yout car will always have a issue. Stay Away they are crooked.
