Friendly hard working family run place..highly recommend.

The people that run an own Carrs Hardware. Are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell in that store. If you cant find what you need at Carrs Hardware then either its not made or they may be out of it. If they are out of stock they will get it for you in a week or less. I been shopping in this Hardware store of over 35 years. An to get something from a Hardware store I will gladly drive 50 miles to get there. It is definitely worth the trip. Prices are very reasonable better then I have seen in other Hardware stores. An the other Hardware stores do not have the knowledge that the Carr family has for Hardware. Simply Awesome no place like this anywhere else.

Carrs is my go to hardware store, the family that owns and operates the store are knowledgeable on their products and are very helpful,The store has that hometown feel and the staff seems to know all of their regular customers names which just adds to the stores appeal.Plus they carry the products the big box stores dont have.

The Carr family has been AMAZING over the many years of service in town. You are always greeted like family! Their prices are even comparable to the big hardware stores, with much better service. They are worth the little extra to support a local family owned business. They even do a lot of community service!!! You wont regret checking out Carrs Hardware.

Great store for all your needs

Went to pick up a tomato cage, vegetable feed and some zip ties. Even though on the door its states no mask no service, twice they let the same guy in without saying a word to him about wearing a mask within the store within 5-7 min span before closing. When asked the cashier why didnt anyone say anything, her response was I think he doesnt hear well and I didnt because he was older. Will not being going back anytime soon and will give my business outside of Gloucester city.

This store has everything; from the older hard to find items, to the newer items that everyone is looking for. If you need it, they will have it - or have it for you in the next order. The staff here will go above and beyond to help you and make your experience second to none. And yes, keys here are made on an older style grinder machine and may not always work on the first shot but, Ive never had a problem bringing the bad key back and them grinding the second, good one out. Keep up the good work for this wonderful community!

Box hardware stores have large quantities but theyre selection is actually limited. I find I actually have a better selection at Carrs. They may only have one or two, but unless youre a contactor thats usually all you need. And if youre not sure, Frank and his crew will find a way to make it work.

Just shopped at Carrs Hardware on Saturday and found the materials and tools needed to prep and paint, replace some outdoor and indoor lights, and more.Carrs Hardware is not a Home Depot so you wont get lost and there is always someone at hand to help you find what you need.
