I don’t Yelp too often. Unless I’m incredibly happy or unhappy, I don’t bother. When it comes to 1-stop auto service 16 Marlborough Avenue in Gloucester City NJ, I think they are worth a “Yelp”. When I found myself miles away from my home with a smoking tire, and, the acrid smell of about to explode brakes on my car, I rolled into this place in tears. I knew from years of experience, given my situation, that I was the best case scenario for unscrupulous auto mechanics. I rolled into 1-stop with an invisible target on my back and with a laser sight aimed directly at my wallet. These guys didn’t take advantage of this total stranger as so many other mechanics would have without a second thought. These guys turned out to be a godsend. I’m a single mother who doesn’t receive child support at the moment. Our adorable but clueless dog decided to remove a growth from her hind leg two weeks before that day, in the back of my car, and, in the middle of nowhere. I had a target on my back that night. $1400 later, our dog is good as new. I didn’t have a ton of money to spare that afternoon.Alex and Sean were unbelievable. I was a mess and they immediately reassured me that I rolled into the right place. I was skeptical at first. I’ve been ripped off by smiling snakes many times in the past. They put my car up on the lift. When a mechanic tells you that you were about to go up in flames, one would expect the bill to be astronomical and seizure inducing. My brake line was hotter than the sun.These guys went above and beyond. They immediately sent their co-worker to an auto parts outlet to purchase the part I needed. It was a $30 part. My brake line was clogged. Many mechanics would have installed a new caliper and god knows what else just to pad the repair bill. These guys, these angels billed me for the cost of the part and not a cent more. They turned my potential nightmare into a dream come true. I rolled in to 1-stop anticipating the worst. They decided to prove to me right then and there that there are spectacularly kind people in this world. One of the angels refused to accept my offer to tip him in cash. He did accept my grateful hug. Even though I live 20 miles and one state away from these guys, I’m their customer for life. Thank you 1-stop! Oh and one more thing… It was about 95 degrees that day with jungle percent humidity. They fixed my nuclear reactor hot brake line in pass-out-and-die conditions… Amazing!

I bring all my cars here. The guys there always do a great job best prices in the area

DONT EAT HERE! TERRIBLE SERVICE !!! THEY TOOK MY SPLASH GUARD AND DIDNT WANT TO BE RESPONSIBLE! I HAD TO PAY $ 200 TO FIND THAT PART AND INSTALL IT MYSELF! DONT COME HERE !!!!DO NOT COME HERE! Bad service. They took part of the car from me and they didnt want to be held responsible. They removed the splash guard. I had to look it up on the internet and had to ask for the part and pay $ 200 just because these mechanics are irresponsible. They have to change mechanics because these guys are useless! Im not coming here again. VERY BAD!
