My experience with Alpine tire is anything but good. I had to have a wheel bearing and front brakes replaced. I was called two days later that it was finished and I picked it up for an $1100 bill. Drove the car to Walmart and still heard grinding. Picked up a few supplies and got back in the car to take it back and see what was going on. Unfortunately it was stuck in the Walmart parking lot because the parking brake was engaged and could not be disengaged. They offered to call me a tow truck (at my expense) I was a little upset with this and luckily my wife was in town to drive me back over there. We came to find out that they had actually done zero work to it and had charged for it anyway. They then agreed to tow it back and do the work they had already charged me for. Fast forward 4 days when I got it back. The parts had been replaced (I believe) and they tried to charge us $1700 my wife was not thrilled with this as the original quote was $800. We finally got away from the nightmare at $1400. I will never go back and I will tell every soul of the troubles we had. Fast forward one more week and we heard a grinding noise on the same tire that the wheel bearing had been replaced. When we looked closer at the tire some metal had been bent in the shop and was pressing on the rotor as we drove. We bent the metal back and hope that it didn’t cause too much damage before it was fixed. Fast forward two more weeks and we took our car to another shop for an oil change and tire rotation. They showed us pictures of the tire that had been where the wheel bearing had been replaced. It was warped to an alarming level. This is something any decent tire shop would have seen and told us about. Alpine tire is not a safe place to take your vehicle for repair.

Charged nearly $40 just to patch a flat. Of course they tried to sell me a set of 4 new tires at $600+ when all I wanted was a patch. And I really dont need to watch Newsmax in the lobby either...

Headed back to Kansas from the mountains, we pulled off in Glenwood Springs for lunch and realized a tire was low. We swapped it with the spare and brought the “new” spare here to get patched up and they got it in ASAP. Highly recommend them for great and fast service to get you back on the road.

My local tire shop near work couldnt seem to get my tires properly balanced but Alpine was able to get them dialed in perfectly; they were definitely worth the extra drive out of the way. Their alignment tech also did a great job, far better than other shops have done for me.

The good.....they got my vehicle taken care of quickly.The bad...... I went in for a simple tire rotation but my vehicle has to be lifted at certain points . They did not listen to my concerns and gave me a little attitude. Them not listening to my concerns resulted in lifting vehicle from improper places and causing minor body damage. I even offered to show them where to lift a vehicle from and they replied, “let us do our job.” I will not be taking my vehicle back to them.

I live in Elizabeth Colorado, and my daughter attends Colorado mountain collage in Glenwood Springs.I got a call on Monday that hew brakes were grinding, being so far away i thought it would save my time and be less expensive to have them replaced by a shop up there . She had already purchased the parts when I contacted Alpine. Derek told me to have her stop[ in for a free inspection, so after her last class she stopped by. Alpine got her in right away and got her back on the road the same day.....at a very reasonable 100.00 labor charge. Thanks for helping out a dad 200 miles away.

I only use alpine for my car needs. Affordable, friendly and honest. Today I even asked them to put my new license plates on for me and they did it no questions asked! So nice! Highly recommend them.

Used to love this place and had them install my BF Goodrich tires (from Amazon) DOZENS of times. The installers loved my tires and always complimented my purchase. When I called today, they refused to install internet tires and were completely rude to me on the phone and basically hung up on me, which is such a shame as we got a lot of work (brakes, etc.) done there and recommended them all the time.

We had a bit of a problem with our brakes, we went to fix it here but they made it worse. We didnt even drive a lot, only about 20 minutes. We made a small turn and the wheels turned opposed ways. Our car got stuck in the middle of the road and with some help we moved it to a parking lot. They scheduled for our car to be ready at 2pm but it wasnt done for another couple of hours. The repair wasnt even cheap so you would expected to be good but it wasnt. Im not sure if it was the person we got but it was not a good experience at all. Thankfully it was not on the highway or a busy street.

On our way to our family vacation in Snowmass and got a screw in our tire. We found Alpine Tire and within 30 minutes we were back on the road with a quick patch and extremely friendly service. Thanks for helping to make our family vacation stay on track!

Really friendly and professional stuff. I drove to Alpine Tire with a spare donut tire for 40 miles and have those guys fixed my broken tires. They did a great job and the price is reasonable.

Subpar strut installation work resulted in frightening noise emanating from my car. Upon taking the car back, was told that the cause of the noise was unknown. Second, independent review of work confirmed poor installation of strut causing said noise and necessitating additional work with new parts. I wouldnt call them incompetent, maybe inept is a better word. I would urge caution in bringing your car here for any type of work.

Kid named Preston messed up my car and then told me I had to have done it in the 1 hour Ive had my car dont go here. Go to discount tire instead.

This tire garage wouldnt install tires on my vehicle because I didnt order the tires through them. I got serious attitude with no explanation when I asked why. Great business model.

They put the wrong oil in my wifes Tahoe, we had to go back. They did put correct oil she wanted in (at least I assume they did). But after being there her tires were out of balance, we had no issues before our visit and now is shakes during high speeds. Will go somewhere to have this corrected, somewhere else. The same visit I had them rotate my tires (I bought them from Alpine Tire) and my truck was very tight and handling was very off, and jumps away from me when attempting to switch lanes ( I assume the alignment is off) I also have the shaking at high speeds. Cant wait to take it to Toyota and find out what these guys did to my truck. Very shady, I dont trust this business and they have much higher costs than other shops in the area.

My wife and I were driving cross-country last weekend when we started hearing an ominous grinding noise coming from one of our wheels every time we braked. After spending the night in Glenwood Springs, we got up the next morning and drove to Alpine Tires. They couldnt have been more helpful, professional, and reasonably priced. Turns out the problem was a bad rotor. Less than two hours later, we were on our way, good as new. A lot of repair shops will try to up-sell you or rip you off. Not these guys. If I lived in Glenwood Springs, I would take my cars to them for everything.

Have been taking my fleet here for 10+ years but service has been declining over the last couple. The last 2 times I have had an appointment for 8am they were more than 10 min late in opening without even an apology.Because I have a relationship with them they are generally respectfull to me but I have seen them be outright rude to walk in customers.On our latest visit an employe had to wait for over an hour for them to get parts delivered from napa (which is a block away). Overall the front desk staff has grown entitled and forgot they are in the service industry.The tecnicians have always been great and done good work.
