We had a great experience at mountain Chevy! We went in with a budget and a used car in mind and they respected our terms. We were concerned about some things that needed to be fixed on the car, but Ed and his team put our worries to rest.

We were in town and our truck started vibrating at any speed. Not knowing what the issue was and not being able to drive without the vibration, we pulled into Mountain Chevrolet. We were greeted by Cody at the service desk. He immediately came out and hooked up the truck to find the issue. Since there werent any codes coming up and no check engine lights, we had to leave it there for 1-2 days. Since they had only TWO loaner cars, and both were being used, we were going to have to get a rental. Of course, all the rentals were gone so we were stuck almost 20 miles away from our RV and no car. Cody stepped up and drove us to our RV after his shift. No other dealer we have ever been to would have done that. Our truck ended up getting fixed the next afternoon so we drove our RV there to pick it up. Turns out there was a loose bolt (that had nothing to do with our truck) that had worked its way out from where it was stuck. This issue has been found in several other trucks as there was a service bulletin out about it. Doesnt give me much faith in Chevy after seeing that (the company, not this particular dealership).My ONLY complaint is their lack of loaner cars....they should definitely have more than 2.Thanks again Cody! You really went above and beyond for us!

We called Mountain Chevrolet while traveling from Aspen to Seattle. Our Suburban was due for an oil change and airbag recall while en route. We were fortunate to speak to Chris M. who kindly fit us in for service that day. The service was efficient and thorough ( they performed an extra safety recall as well) and the staff were fabulous to deal with. Instead of waiting in the service lobby for our service, the staff had a courtesy car take us to the nearby mineral springs which were an awesome way to wile away the time. Overall, we left Mountain Chevrolet feeling that our vehicle was safe and marveling at the old fashioned fine service that we had received. We could not recommend Mountain Chevrolet more highly.

It was a great pleasure to work with Mountain Chevrolet. Ive purchased several vehicles in the last few years for me and members of my family from dealerships in most of the western states, and this was by far the best experience Ive had.I live in Oregon and had to search further away to find the truck I was looking for with the right options and color. We are on a road trip from the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park to our home in Arizona when our battery died in our new Chevy Silverado. AAA jumped us but warned us not to turn the truck off as we may have to get it jumped again. He strongly suggested we get a new battery as soon as we could find a Chevy dealer. Fortunately we found Mountain Chevrolet. Xavier greeted us immediately, diagnosed the trouble and showed us to the waiting room which had coffee, soda and snacks. They did not have the battery we needed on hand and Xavier went above and beyond trying to find the battery we needed. He had someone from the dealership run out and bring it back so we would not have to wait for delivery. In less than two hours Xavier had us fixed and back on the road. Big 5 stars to Xavier, his team, and Mountain Chevrolet. Thank you so much!

I went in for a oil change when Chris in the service dept. noticed that I needed new tires. I got my my car back from the oil change while he was on lunch break. He then took the initiative to call me and let me know that my tires we getting dangerously low tread. I explained that I was leaving the area for 3 months in 48 hours. He was able to get my tires ordered and installed in time for me to catch my flight. This was very important as when I come back to the area, it will be winter.

I was traveling through the Glenwood Springs area on a Friday afternoon and needed to service my 2018 Chevy Traverse. I did not have an appointment and Chris at Mountain Chevrolet was able to take care of servicing my car. Purchased 2 vehicles. One supposedly new and one used. The new one is actually used with 6k miles on it. They took off 5k from asking price but did not do military or first responder discount. There are a few scratches on both sides of the vehicle that they said would be no issue to buff out. My husband waited 3 hours or more for them to fix this and when I checked they were still there! Not sure what they did for 3 hours but it wasnt that. It took a long time to get the purchases finalized also. They were all very nice but after dealing with this dealership its easy to tell they were all full of it. I will not go back there nor will I recommend anyone to go there. If they are capable of dealing with the situation and fulfilling the verbal promise given to me that might change. But as of now I am not satisfied with the service.

Chris was very nice and even remembered how to pronounce my first name from the day before conversation. My name often trips most people up in how to say correctly. He was very thorough and although it took a bit more time than I was expecting, that was because a check engine light came on during the visit so service had to test the car out before releasing it and he let me know that. Also, there was an open recall that I was unaware of that I was informed about and got fixed. I have a home in Gypsum and am there occasionally and was looking for a reliable place for servicing the vehicle I have out there. I will be taking it back to Mountain Chevrolet.

I have bought many high line cars, Porsche, McLarens and Aston Martin. I have gone to American car dealerships, not a very good experience. They, American dealers have a different way of selling. BUT! Mountain Chevrolet is awesome. They treat the customer like you are a client. I bought a 2016 Z06, they told me a price, I told them what I was willing pay. All done in 10 minutes.I wired the funds. Then they took the car, changed the oil, flashed the computer that controls the suspension and checked the alignment. . Replaced the windshield, small mark on it. And all of that cost me a big fat ZERO.The staff is friendly, all of them. Saleman shook my hand, sales manager shook my hand and the service manager shook my hand.I will.tell people about Mt Chevy, Glenwood Springs and my great experience.

My wife and I were on a road trip from California to Colorado when I got a check engine light for emissions in grand junction. Called the dealership in grand junction and got no help whatsoever they were very rude and unhelpful. We called mountain Chevrolet and I talked to Todd Wright. Interacting with people you realize that there is a shortage of truly good people in this world. But Todd is one of those good people. I explained our situation being on the road on vacation and he sprung Into action. They had to order parts so we had to stay in town for a couple of days. Todd recognized my wife had cancer and got the truck fixed as fast as possible. They even canablized a truck from the used car lot to get us on the road. Great costumer service at front service but Tood the service manager not professional at all! He can’t fix my truck and told me not to come back to the dealer because I complained when they change my engine and Forgot to add oil to the new engine! Of course I will complain about this! Also complain because they did something to the A/C because it was not working any more! He just not knows how to treat costumers.. I was with my 4 year old and 2 year old and he was arguing in front of them.. so sad to have this person as a manager..

Traveling from Michigan we ran into some vehicle problems. I called to see if they could fit us in for an emergency since we were on our way to Moab. Todd in service was honest, professional, accommodating and extremely helpful in getting parts next day and taking care of us. Couldnt be happier with their service.

Edwin was great! He was friendly and patient and answered all of our questions, including even sometimes answering the same question more than once if I was confused about something during the purchase paperwork. They let us test-drive multiple times over the course of a few days, which was very helpful because we were trying to decide between two very similar models. Patrick the manager was also very friendly and helped the process.

I wrote the following review 2 months ago. Fast forward a few months….. there have been some updates.During the time that Mountain Chevrolet had my vehicle, I was told it would be 1 week to get it fixed. Wow that sounded wonderful! I didn’t even ask for a loaner since they would only have it a week and were going to drop it off and deliver it back to me. After 1 week I still hadn’t heard anything, I called to see when my vehicle would be delivered. It was not even fixed so now it was going to be at least another week, but since it was taking longer then expected Todd told me he would happily pay a month of my car payment just to get him the information. They did get me a loaner for over another week and a half before I received my vehicle. I gave Todd and Chris all my information for my car payment. I gave them the great outstanding google review they asked for and then dropped all contact…. It has been over 8 weeks since I was promised (and offered, not asked) a check and still nothing……………………….. thanks for fixing my vehicle but don’t promise things if they aren’t going to be followed through…….We bought our 2018 GMC Acadia from Mountain Chevrolet in December. Fast forward to May and I started getting a message on my car that it was not recognizing it was in park. We called our local Chevy dealer and since we were 500 miles over bumper to bumper warranty, they told us we would have to pay for everything. I called Mountain Chevrolet to see if they could do anything for us, Todd told me he would absolutely take care of the issue I was having. He even offered to drive to Montrose to pick it up! Chris kept me informed the whole way with the fix and had my vehicle delivered back to me all detailed and pretty! Would highly recommended this place for another vehicle! Phenomenal customer service!

I’ve had a few issues with Mountain Chevrolet, however this last experience was beyond awesome. All because of Patrick Delashmutt who greeted me right away and took care of some issues regarding my Tahoe that I bought less than a year ago. Our Silverado 3500 HD went into low power mode due to a clogged DPF on I70 while we were traveling with our 5th wheel trailer. We limped into Glenwood Springs and the service director Todd took the truck into be evaluated, let us park our 5th wheel in their lot, and gave us a loaner vehicle to use to get home to Longmont. They diagnosed the problem and were able to fix the truck in two days. We returned to Glenwood, picked up the trailer and got home without further issues. Todd and Cody were extremely helpful, reassuring and accommodating to my wife and I, and our two dogs. They made an otherwise stressful experience bearable. I would like to recognize them for going above and beyond to help us out.

Our vehicle was involved in an accident and Cody from Mountain Chevrolet was very helpful. He kept me abreast of the progress, he worked with the insurance adjusters and he was able to get our vehicle repaired in a timely manner, and he was always very pleasant and very responsive to my phone calls and getting information to the insurance when requested.

I took in my car for an oil change and tune up in the middle of the snow storm a couple of weeks ago. The computer showed my alignment was off, so they took care of this as well. This dealership is incredible I had a problem with my truck. A 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 the plastic trim around my stereo. Seemed to be damaged like a puncture to the trim. I contacted Chevy about it an TODD was the one that answered the phone. He told to bring in the truck to get it looked at. So I did when I had a chance the following week. He told me he would take care of it even though. I didn’t buy the truck through them which I regret not doing so. So he told CHRIS another awesome employee. To look into how to order the part. He asked where it was an scanned the truck. All professional and very helpful both of these guys. Deserve the best recognition for going above an beyond. Many dealerships don’t care an I had my fair share in Denver. But Mountain Chevy is the reason why I even thought about buying my first new car In the first place. They make you feel like family. I showed up with my wife’s Tahoe from Vail ( our daughter was having surgery there that morning)with no appointment. Todd the service manager heard our issue (losing brakes at low speeds). He was booked for the day but made a couple adjustments and got me in right away. Thankfully it was recall on the booster pump. He had it fixed in less than 2 hours. What a very nice and clean dealership. As for Todd, what can I say. He went above and beyond. His concern for our car safety was sincere as well as concern for my daughters surgery. We are from Omaha so he owed us nothing! I hope to be able to repay Mountain Chevrolet someday. I’m not against buying a vehicle from them. Their town is beautiful. I highly recommend these guys. This is the first part of an honest review. 10 stars if I could! Read on for the whole story! I called and spoke with Xavier, service advisor, this morning and told him that I had a diesel exhaust service indicator light on my dash. He advised me that they are stacked up a week out in service. He told me if I can bring the vehicle here and let it sit they might be able to squeeze it in at some point. I contacted the other GM dealer and he is in the same position. Xavier gave me the discount for an Enterprise rental car while I wait since all four of his courtesy vehicles are out of service. My situation is that I travel via RV and need the truck to pull my camper. Im coming to the end of my stay here and will have to notify the next place that I stay at that I wont be able to make it and hope that my current place has room for me.. I called OnStar and they did a vehicle diagnostics that says that the heater for the diesel exhaust fluid tank is dead. Xavier advised me that the code is generic and that it could be one of three things. The nozzle that sprays the diesel exhaust fluid. The heater. Or a bad sensor. He further advised me that GMs warranties are weird and well have to wait to figure out whether its covered since my bumper to bumper has lapsed. I called GM proper and asked about the warranties and they allowed that there are certain DEF situations that are covered under a campaign due to known issues. It 2016 Chev Silverado diesel has 41000 miles on it. I will edit this as the situation progresses. I hope to give this dealership five stars.EDIT: Arrived Friday morning and I met with Xavier and he advised me that there had been a cancellation and the truck would be worked on today and even had a loaner car! The problem was as OnStar said, a bad DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank heater. He gave me an update on trying to find one. Eventually one was found and he expects the vehicle to be ready this afternoon at 2 pm. Ill advise further.EDIT: Xavier called me at 2:00 on this day to let me know that my truck was repaired and tested! Its important to know that Xavier my service advisor an his boss, Josh did NOT have to go the extra mile to get a traveler back on the road but DID! This kind of customer service is amazing and does their brand good!Many, many thanks to Xavier and the staff for getting my wife and I back on the road!!

I bought my 2010 Tahoe used in Denver and it came with a multitude of issues. One being a sunroof that would not close. My local mechanic would not touch it so I called Mountain Chevrolet and the process began. It was determined the whole mechanism needed replaced. Due to the need to order parts and me needing my vehicle back until the parts arrived, the technicians put the whole thing back together and I was to come pick it up. There was some poor communication about the pick up process and as luck would have it the Grizzly Creek fire started the afternoon I was on my way to pick up the vehicle. I ended up needing to drive around the fire (9 hours) in order to retrieve my vehicle later in the week. Once the parts arrived, I could bring the Tahoe back to have the installation finished. Due to the catastrophe of the Grizzly Creek Fire, my need to use my vehicle and the busyness of the service center, the installation was not scheduled until November 10th. When making the appointment it was noted to me that this work would take approximately 4 hours and I could wait if need be. I arranged my work schedule and my husband and son’s schedule in order to drop off the Tahoe the night before to have it available first thing and pick it up after the allotted amount of time. Unfortunately, the technician was very backed up and after my contacting the service department it was determined it wouldn’t be done for 2 more days. Then service manager Todd Wright took over and figured out a way to get the service done and provide a significant discount due to my severe disappointment in how my needs were being handled. Todd was very understanding of my disappointment and got the work done in a manner that made me feel like a priority. His reactions and Jose’s (service) pleasantness upon picking up my vehicle, made what was going to be a poor experience initially into a good experience. With Todd at the helm and Jose providing timely information to service customers, I would recommend Mountain Chevrolet for service in the Glenwood Springs area!
