The Xfinity store in Glenview was an excellent experience. Andre, the store manager was wonderful. While I was there, there was a belligerent customer. He was complaining loudly about waiting time. Andre took the time to calmly urge him and the rest of us to be patient in a very kind an diplomatic way. The customer apologized. We were all impressed by the way he handled a difficult situation.I give the store and the manager 10!
Regarding my Xfinity plan change I had talked with the customer service and explored the website but achieved no result. Then I decided to give a visit to this store. Mark helped me. He explained me options, made calculations, compared the packages, compared the costs, and came up with an optimum solution. No threats, no buts, no proposals for unwanted services, no drama. So far this has been the best customer service I got recently. Thank you Mark. I definitely recommend this store and I specifically recommend Mark.
Arrived at the Glenview Comcast/Xfinity facility around 2 PM on June 1, 2021. Had to wait about 15 or 20 minutes, several customers ahead of me, but when Levi listened to my concerns about an X1 cable box that stopped working, he quickly assessed the situation, provided a new box, and sent me on my way. Good overall experience. Friendly service, accurate service. Once again, I am up and running!
By far my favorite Xfinity store. The staff is great and very attentive. I was having a small issue with online services letting me know when I could pick up my equipment. I decided to just visit the store and I waited about 2-3 minutes until I was serviced and the check out process was a breeze as well. Other location I’ve waited 20-30 minutes just to be told that my items weren’t processed or ready yet. Thanks Glenview Xfinity staff.

This store should be closed. It looks dirty and abandoned. Employees spent time talking about personal issues while people are waiting. It s better to deal online than to go there and waste my time.
Leverette at this location wasted an hour of my time, he claimed he was trying to find expedited appointments. However his manager eventually came out and said expedited appointments are non existent. Also wasted time trying to determine the issue with my appointment confirmation when he couldnt figure it out and I solved it later that day online. His Manager was bragging about how he was bored and had no work for hours; he shouldnt just be coming to work doing nothing! He should instead be finding work while hes at work. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location! The Bolingbrook location is better.
The wait at this store is incredibly long. Only two individuals here with line out the door. Ridiculous.

They wanted me to upgrade my modem. I got a brand new modem. Used the QR code as they suggested. No Wifi on Monday. Called support center. They tried 4 times to get it working. They put in a work order for Tuesday. Then wife was on the phone for 5 hours with support center and they could not fix the problem. Than a technician can over and tried to fix it on Wednesday. No luck there. By Friday a field tech can to our house and could not get the modem to work. So he got the old modem to work. Thank God because my daughter was getting married in our backyard that night and the DJ needed wifi. After the wedding I went back to the Xfinity store, return new modem and they did not care about me one bit. Yes I will be looking for a new provider.

I was very excited to get a new phone here but unfortunately i left without one!The person who was trying to help me didn’t know anything about their company. I asked him a few questions about trade in and he said they didn’t do them. When i called costumer service and i went online and it clearly said they do. I recommend going to the one on golf.
The guys at the Gkenview Xfinity store have no idea what they’re doing. First they gave me a DVR box which I didn’t order, telling me it was the same as my basic box and there be no additional charge. I got hit with a load of charges and had to haul the box back to the store along with my defunct old cable box. Finally got the correct replacement unit, but took them an hour to straighten out all of the billing and miscellaneous charges still showing on my bill.They told me my unit would be plug-and-play and activated when I got home. Wrong again. Another hour on the phone with customer support to get my box activated and the channels loaded. Bottom line, 5+ hours just to swap out a cable box. Stay away from this store which is Xfinity licensed, and go to the store in Morton Grove or another one that is owned by Comcast if you decide to stay with their service.The Comcast stores are run entirely differently. More like the old line old-fashioned AT&T company that they originated from. These guys at the Glenview xfinity licensed store on Patriot Boulevard are fast and loose, and dumb as a pile of rocks.

This new store is so Wonderful! The location is great for me and the staff is friendly beyond belief!! So,so refreshing to deal with good natured people in a bright, clean, uncrowded store. The lady that walked in after me also marveled about it :-) My Amazing sales guy’s name was Doug. He was very amiable, knowledgeable and helpful! I had so many questions and answered them all patiently. I really appreciated that. Best phone purchase Ever! Mark was also friendly and welcomed me in with a big smile. Jasmine was a dream manager and I could see that they all got along very well. The whole environment was very positive. I would Highly recommend this location. Aimee was the reason this experience was amazing. She was beyond helpful when it came to downloading, transferring and moving data. She was kind, patient and extremely customer service centered. Sad, slow, and out of touch with their customers. After watching the staff for a 1/2 hr and only 3 people in the store (2 being served) it climbed to 10 and the same 2 ppl at the counter. Lady came out and took names and that we’d be called and was no help! There was a empty computer at checkout that she should have jumped on (she was there for 10min doing nothing before she got names. SAD!! ) I got up and left!!
Doesnt know what to do. Gets lost at job (like lost their paper with password). Switches priority to other customer while talking to you. Go to proper Xfinity store instead
Worst Experience inside of a retail location ever. Store Manager, Jasmin, was Rude and Unprofessional. I was literally the ONLY Customer in the store, and was given the worst customer service ever. Now I know why no one else was there. Stay far away! Morton Grove Location is not too far, and has way better customer service. The team is way more knowledgeable and delivers top knotch customer service.
Beth S. at the store was super helpful. I went in to switch to xfinity mobile service, and she helped me deal with getting the information from Verizon to switch service, and set up my phones with the new sim. Also helped me switch to better cable service while I was in. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and from what I heard from the other reps, they were too. This is a good store.
Absolutely worst experience. Spent over 2.5 hrs at the store. Staff has no product knowledge. Both assistant manager Aimee and store manager Jasmine lacking customer service skills, and have horrible attitude. Stopped by the store to find out about a mobile deal.Specifically asked customer service rep Doug, if existing number had to be transferred to Xfinity Mobile and if iPhone comes unlocked. He said no to both, which is FALSE ... proceed with the order ... asked for proof that order qualifies for $200 off promo, wasnt able to provide. Long story short order had be canceled. New order started ... had to be canceled again, they could not get the system to take current # information. On top of that was changed $35 restocking fee. Never left the store, never received a phone, what are they restocking? Store manager refused to give District Managers contact info. Ordered on line later, spent no more than 5 min. District Manager - PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF.

I was an invisible customer to them. They treated me flat out as if they dont see me. Perhaps my race plays a role in that attitude thats unforgiving and not acceptable. Please read my story if you are considering to visit this horrible store.My husband and I just moved to Glenview and the first time we went to this Xfinity store was on Memorial day, 2019 to return our old Xfinity modem as we purchased our own. Workers were extremely rude to us and even to the old lady who came in after us. They didnt answer our questions, and often cut us off while were talking. No eye contact either. I just went back today on Saturday, June 1st at 10:13am (they open at 10am) to switch my phone plan after conveniently visiting the Home Depot next door. There were three people already being taken care of at the counter, and an older couple waiting. I sat down on the sofa to wait for my turn, and then another older lady comes in. One of the workers starts taking names and their contact info supposedly in the order people came in. Treats me like an invisible person, and goes to the lady who came in after me and takes her info. I patiently wait thinking that oh because she just brought in a broke remote control to get a new one they might come to me after her since hers is immediate fix. But that was my mistake. Mid-aged white man comes in after the remote control lady, and the worker goes straight to the mid-aged man. I was once again an invisible person. No his or well be right with yous. I have to tell you, I was the only difference race there and maybe perhaps they think I dont deserve to be treated like other customers?So I took care of switching my phone plan on my own on internet super easy. It took me 1 minute, which is 15 times faster than what I wasted my time in this store. DEAR GLENVIEW NEIGHBORS, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME dealing with rude, and uncondescending people. If you really need in person help, go to the Morton Grove location.

Absolutely worst experience as an existing customer. Staff Aimee who stated it was her store and she is manager of her store didnt do her.job at all...asked for district.managers info and a stated only give me name of Jazmine . No card no nothing..asked for print out copy of what was to be multiple credits for service not working after.promises....she then started rapidly typing...i asked her why If all iam asking for is print out of what she stated she had already done..but evidently didnt as she couldnt produce a copy of same so I could follow up....have not been getting services paid for and not getting credits for lack thereofAimee scrambled and never produced what she so scrambled to try to do AFTER I asked for copy.Another employee gentleman started chuckling as he felt it was funny. Only answer was ...we dont have cards and we can only give you jasmine who isnt even here as a district manager..no number to contact ..no email..nobody knows..no cards because we are a new store.This comes after total disaster for last 2 to 3 weeks of multiple numbers and.multiple.people who claim to be customer service or an acceleration team....even a visit to a store and still same end result..nobody knows anything or whys....its sad...Jasmine if you truly are the store manager or district manager Id like to talk to you asap.
While at 2840 Patriot Blvd. Glnv we had EXCEPTIONAL customer service from Keith who patiently & thoroughly helped us understand everything while setting up cable & internet for us. He is sincerely kind, personable & knowledgeable as was Doug. We have had horrible prior issues with cable providers but this experience proved to be phenomenal in every way. This is undoubtedly the place to go in N Chicagoland! Ask for Keith, he is an outstanding young man. Thank You Keith & Doug!
They scheduled a service appointment for the wrong day.The staff there didnt offer much more than can be found on the internet. I needed to tell them what services I wanted; they didnt offer me a selection of options. Once I approved my package, they supposedly arranged for an installation date, but they told me the person was coming next Tuesday when in fact it was the following week. Waited around all afternoon for nothing.I would suggest going to a branded Comcast store rather than this independent vendor. Youll get more reliable information.

I took my mom here today because she needed to return a DVR-enabled set top box with a basic model and change up her service plan to remove many features and charges that she just didnt need now that shes under a new living arrangement.Doug and Jasmin were exceedingly helpful and straightforward when advising my mother on what was going to change, how much money was being saved, and all of that stuff.I just stayed on the sidelines because I didnt need to jump in and put a stop to anything underhanded or intentionally misleading. That was refreshing since Comcast/Xfinity have such a terrible customer service reputation but Doug and company really prove that whole image wrong.They didnt push back or try to up-sell unnecessary equipment or services. My mom asked for what she needed, which was to spend less money on services, and they gave her exactly that and a new basic set top box to take home.And getting that thing setup was a breeze too.Great work, Doug and Jasmin! THIS LOCATION IS TERRIBLE!! We have been LOYAL Customers for over 20 years, and I have never been so disgusted over what has happened in my entire life. The so called Store Manager, JASMIN, took full advantage of my parents, whom are over 65 years old.My parents, who have been retired for over 10 years, decided to go to the New Xfinity Store in Glenview so that they can save money on their bill. Every few years once our promotion ends, we always go in to see if we qualify for the latest deal. When the current promotion ends, we know because the bill increases by almost double.Unfortunately, my parents were a victim to a store manager, Jasmin, who cared more about making a sale then about customer service. I really do not understand why this employee would do such a thing to an elderly couple. My parents have always had a Double Play since I purchased them cell phones 10 years ago. They havent had a need for a house phone in years. They are perfectly fine with their flip phones since they only use it for emergencies.Jasmin talked them into getting Smartphones with Xfinity and also a Triple Play (Home Phone, Internet, and TV). She told them that they would be paying less for combining all the services. She showed them what they were currently paying for (Non-Promional Amount) and that they would be saving $20 by combining all the services. This is an absolute LIE. First of all, my parents are now paying monthly for a smartphone that they dont know how to use. Secondly, they have been paying for a home phone that is not even connected. Thirdly, their bill is now more than double because I was paying for their cell phones with Verizon.My parents are absolutely devastated over what has transpired over the last 2 months. They are on a fixed income, and cannot afford to pay for these services that they were manipulated into getting. Im sure that Jasmin could have looked up the account and check for all of this, but decided to take advantage instead.I hope this review reaches the appropriate corporate team. I am currently working with customer service to help fix the issues that Jasmin created. This is extremely time consuming, and I hope Xfinity will help my parents. If things are not resolved, XFINITY WILL BE LOSING CUSTOMERS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!

After waiting over an HOUR on a busy Sunday for help with terminating service, the rep assured me that he had set my account up for closure. I called Xfinity 3 days later and NOTHING was noted in my account about termination. What a joke.

This Review is for the location located on 2840 Patriot Boulevard Glenview, IL 60026.STAY FAR AWAY from this location. This is NOT a CORPORATE Xfinity Store. I was in the parking lot getting my children prepared to walk into the New Xfinity Store. I then saw a vehicle pull up just a couple of parking spaces away from me. When they opened the door, a cloud of smoke exited the car reeking the smell of an illegal substance. The passengers in the vehicle was female, long curly hair and skinny, and a male, african american, tall, and heavy set. I kept my children in the car until I saw the two people walk away. I was shocked to see that the two people I saw outside worked in the Xfinity Store. The most shocking was that the female I saw happens to be the Store Manger. SMH. I left the location immediately. I refuse to bring my children to a store were the representatives are working under the influence. This location needs a lesson on Class and Professionalism.I went to the Morton Grove location located on 7927 Golf Rd, Morton Grove, IL 60053. I was helped by Michael who was absolutely splendid. Very Knowledgeable and extremely professional. He did inform me that the Glenview Location was NOT a CORPORATE Store, and that the people hired in Glenview go through a different background and screening process then the Corporate Store.
