I was dress shopping with my daughter and called up this shop to ask if they had a good selection or not. The lady on the phone was very adamant that they had hundreds of dresses to choose from. My daughter and I made the hour drive to the shop to find that it was closed until 2 (we had arrived at 1:30). We grabbed lunch and came back to them still being closed. We waited until 2:45 before we gave up and left to make the hour drive back home. I guess you need to call and verify they will actually be open when you plan to be there.

Call before you go. I had a small window of time to shop and headed there at 4:15 on a Tuesday. Doors were locked, lights out and no sign on the door - other than the one that said they were open until 5. Won’t be back.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! ... I have off on Tuesdays and figured I would stop out here and see what this place was about. I live in WI and have been to KMK Consignment ( which is relatively close to Designer Consigner ) and had great luck there with finds!! So I figured I would try a new place out- and oh was that a mistake!!! I arrived at Designer Consigner at about 215 after an hour long drive. On tuesdays they are supposedly open 10-5pm. I arrived to find the doors locked and a note taped to the door that said back at 130. So I figured maybe the person was running late from lunch and I should just wait. I waited until 345 and still no one showed up. So I decided to call the stores number and see if anyone would pick up (the lights inside the store were on). No one answered. I also talked with a few other people who showed up to find the doors locked......come to find out this is a very common thing with this store!!! One lady said she had been here about 5 times and sometimes they would just be closed all day... or no one would come to reopen the store despite the posted hours!!!! IM VERY-DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE.....if you cant honor your posted hours then dont post any at all.....I DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM WI TO SIT IN THE PARKING LOT OF A STORE FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN!!!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!... if your looking for a great high end resale store near Glenview, I would 100% recommend KMK Consignment over this joke of a store.

She was great. Helped me get rid of items i couldnt have on my own. Thanks Designer Consigner. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great items at a fair price.Find it and go!

This place has some great designer pieces. Cheryl was extremely helpful and friendly. I found a BEAUTIFUL St John coat and a few other pieces...great condition and very reasonably priced.

Very good range of quality clothes. Can always find something to wear.

Great variety...you can get much higher quality for a similar price to a new poorly made item. And unlike some stores, theres help for the fashion-impaired! Cheryl knew how to update my outfit while emphasizing my strengths.
