Super easy and painless shopping process at Jennings, unlike some of the competition out there. Nick was incredibly patient with me throughout the entire process, never pressuring me and maintaining a calm demeanor the entire time. Nick stuck around until I was ready to leave the dealership to make sure I was happy with everything, helping set up a few things in my new car. My Partner and I went in to the dealership to purchase a used car. Buying a used car can be a very stressful experience. The Team at JW made this process painless. Starting with Daniel from the first conversation to the Sales Managers, David and Ziggy, and then the Finance Manager Eric, the process was seamless. There was no pressure at all to purchase. Questions were clearly answered. No overpromising. Very accommodating and understanding and no pushy sales. Just an easy, comfortable process. We were downgrading one of our vehicles and did this on 10/28/21. We are fortunate enough to find this dealership. Thank you to the entire team. Unsatisfactory service. I scheduled for body work, confirmed the same and received a price certain estimate for the repairs. I dropped off the car. Car was there for 5 days with no work performed. New service manager insisted on a new estimate. I declined and picked up the car. Their excuse was that the previous service manager was no longer employed at Jennings.

If you are in the market to find a VW, this should be the first place and last place you look. I took it old school. I researched cars online on the Jennings VW site. I took note of a few cars I was interested in. I called and checked availability and made an appointment with a salesperson for the following day for test drives. I met up with Kyle the next day. He’s a cool guy. He’s genuine and followed along with my shopping checklist of car needs. There were no aggressive sales tactics or lies. He informed his sales manager David of our interest in said car. David came over with a price that we liked and it was that easy. I then duked it out with financing. Ok, it was more like sign here, sign here and then back to Kyle. I picked up the car the next day and I couldn’t have had a more easier car buying experience if I had someone else do it for me. But seriously, this is not a shill review. These guys are friendly, low key and able to meet and exceed your car sales need. I will come back again and can’t think of anything that made it less than a stellar experience.

Bought my used 2016 Audi A3 e-tron about six months ago. Craig Bryda was super helpful, the process was speedy, and they werent as pushy as some other places we looked at initially. The reason they lost a star was because not a day later after purchasing it, the check engine light came on and instead of working with me, they said they couldnt help and that I needed to go to an Audi dealership to get it serviced. This caused the warranty to lapse, but thankfully the Audi dealership we ended up at understood it was still under warranty when I made the appointment with them. Overall, I would still recommend them.

It wasnt sales-y, it was a really lowkey/no pressure experience, and we got a lot of useful information that allowed us to purchase a car we had our eye on for months! My daughter bought a used Passat car from this dealership over a year ago. We were all so excited for her to get a highly rated car from a known local dealership. Well the car has been a total nightmare. Twice while traveling out of town, it has broken down (including once on Thanksgiving Day a 150 miles from home). The engine was replaced after that disastrous trip, and then it broke down again just 3 months ago. She is still waiting to get the car back. Though she was provided with a loaner, that is still not the same as having and trusting your own vehicle.She and her Mom went to meet with the dealer expecting them to bend over backwards to help. The only advice they have was to lease instead of buy. There was no attempt to admit fault and offer a good deal on another car. This is ridiculous.I am so turned off by this dealership and the vehicle brand that they sell. No parent wants their daughter to feel unsafe driving her vehicle. And no parent wants to see their child be taken advantage of by a dealer only with money as their driving force.How about taking care or your customers? This is so sad. Guess Honda or Toyota is getting a new buyer soon.
They always move the driver seat even when explicitly told not to. Never attemp to put the seat back the way it was. For context, my car is a stick shift, Im 5ft 11, and my taller family members never need to move the seat to drive it

Brought my Volkswagen in for a diagnosis and paid $155 for the (supposed to be Volkswagen experts) to tell me the wrong parts to replace. Took their diagnosis report to my own mechanic who changed those exact parts and that did not fix the issue. After I reached out to the service manager about my complaint and requested a refund of the $155 he refused. Definitely do not recommend this dealerships service department at all.
The most rude and uncooperative service department I ever had to deal with. They just dont want to understand that the car they sold as certified has a problem. My car, ever since I bought it, has a problem with the air conditioning not kicking in right away, as it should. Sometimes it starts after 10 minutes, sometimes after an hour. It is random, though. But when it does, by the time it starts working I am soked, so there is no need for air conditioning anymore, since I have to go home and change, anyway, so forget what I was going to do that day...I fell for their lies before to leave the car with them to have it checked out twice before, only to get an over $200 diagnostic bill, and no results.I went in today with the problem on, tried to talk to them about it and...the same ignorant response.I will not rest until I call, e-mail and get this across all higher autorities from Volkswagen. North America, even Germany. I will make the way they treat people here at this service department known worldwide. I dont even want them to fix it anymore.They should not have a license to work on these cars. Will make sure that it goes bye bye. 👋Concerning your response.See, it is not an anger review. And, if you read carefully what you said you are calling me a liar.And the $200 charge is true. Your employe Michael tried charging me for it, but your sales manager Erek waived it. So... Horrible customer service. Got a brand new car from them and in the first month of having the vehicle I had not 1 but 2 tires blowout out of no where. $300 tires and apparently no warranties and no help. The sales manager could care less and hung up on me telling me that I would need to bring my car that has a flat to them to inspect even though they are over an hour from me. Thank you for hanging up on me clearly the customer service is top notch. Can’t wait to buy elsewhere!

Ziggy was more than willing to run numbers for us on multiple cars and different scenarios to ensure our happiness and comfort and in the end provided us with a deal that we couldn’t walk away from. Last but certainly not least, the service team went above and beyond to detail the car so that I was handed a beautiful spotless new car to drive away in. Condescending, demeaning people. Brought in my car for warranty work (dieselgate scandal vehicle, wanted to give VW another chance). They threatened to do no warranty work if I didn’t comply and eventually denied my claim in its entirety (even after VW approved it).Waited for the VW representative for 3 weeks. Less then five minutes after I arrived they called me in and said the inspection is complete (surprisingly fast). They approved corrosion claim for front fenders and rocker panel but denied corrosion on rear wheel wells and door bottoms with no good explanation (rear wheel wells and doors were exposed to the same climate and other factors as the front fenders). This car was a lemon and has rust on every panel. Every answer from them as to why its not covered was different and contradicting.
My husband and I had a fabulous experience with Mario and Ziggy at Jennings VW. We emailed Mario directly (easy to do with his email listed on their website) to set up a time for an extended test drive. He was very quick to respond and answered all our questions. We showed up at our set up time and everything was ready to go for us, with the car warmed up and snow cleaned off. After deciding we wanted to then test drive another car, Mario had it pulled and cleaned up for us in no time. Working with Mario and Ziggy on the terms of our lease was a breeze and they were very flexible with our requests and addressed our concerns above and beyond. I am absolutely in love with VW cars!! My salesperson was Kyle. Due to Covid, I think their showroom hours did not match with what google listed. I have been passing by this dealership for many many years! I did my research to find an upgrade from my jetta to a passat for several weeks now. I finally landed the car that I wanted and luckily they had it. Kyle was pretty awesome and straight forward with me. He did an awesome job by negotiating the price for me with his sales manager. Kyle was transparent and honest from being to end. I came to pick up the car the next day and did the paperwork with finance. Kyle had the car ready for me and did a final inspection with me by walking around the car inside and out before signing the paperwork. Kyle was A-class sales person from beginning to end!

Worst customer services. Walked in around 5:30. One guy was standing in the lobby, avoiding contact. After about 5 minutes of akwardness, he finally asked if we have been helped. He brings another guy to help us. He reminded us at least 4 times that they were closing soon and that he is not sure if could show us the car tonight. It felt like he needed convincing to do his job. He then went to the third guy sitting in his office. It was clear that he too was upset that he would have to work. The 3rd guys threw his phone on the desk. We left immediately aftern.

Today we bought a 2021 Jetta GLI, and Kyle and Ziggy and Eric were easy to work with. Kyle was honest and relatable, and his no pressure, informative sales style was refreshing. Once we sat down to talk pricing, the process was smooth. We had done our homework on pricing as well as where the other Jettas in the color/trim we wanted were located. Ziggy acknowledged our preparedness and came to us with a very fair, transparent offer. Eric in finance was easy to work with and expedited our paperwork so we could get out of there in a timely manner. We drove about 30 minutes to get to Jennings VW, and don’t regret it a bit. We had a smooth, pleasurable purchasing experience.
Wonderful experience as a first-time car buyer with product specialist Glerry Salvador. Went one night to look at the car (pre-owned Nissan Rogue) and was given a print-out of its CarFax report and history with a road accident, as well as full disclosure on everything about remaining warranties. Allowed me to take the test drive alone due to COVID precautions and remained masked throughout the process, greatly appreciated. When I acknowledged that I liked it but wanted to shop around some more first, there was absolutely no pressure to stay and I was given a simple follow-up e-mail with all details about the car and its pricing, including taxes. The next morning I e-mailed that I wanted to come back to purchase, and all responses during a quick back-and-forth were rapid. I was allowed more test drive time while my trade-in was appraised, then given multiple options for financing which were all well below my expectations and budget. Again, there was no pressure given towards any option, just the numbers laid bare. While waiting to finish the process and sign documents, we had a nice conversation about our respective careers and Glerry was very attentive and friendly; having spoken to a few other dealers the night before, he felt the most genuine by far. Overall a really enjoyable experience, with a terrific new car to show for it.

Purchased a used minivan and had a great experience throughout purchase process. Additionally, the DVD player wasnt working properly after getting home and they serviced the van and fixed the issue free of charge. Great experience all around.
I was very disappointed with my experience at Jennings I research cars for a long time I found one and bought it from Jennings but when it came down to the purchase They raised the price and also it did not have all the options that the car had listed online They also told me the vehicle was a dealership transfer instead it was a purchased and returned vehicle I did have to travel since I live out of state So I still bought the vehicle and everyone there was very nice I just felt misled on the vehicle I was buying In fact lied to I dont believe I would buy another vehicle from this dealership especially travelling from out of state I have also had troubles registering the car in my state with now drive away paper plates expired mostly due to them not telling me the car was previously owned by a person So there having trouble with paperwork on their end
Very Rude, and didnt follow through when asked for help with changing a taillight bulb.

Bought a new tiguan here and a big thank you to Mario and Moe for the amazing service and help. After some hiccups in initial delivery Mario went above and beyond to get the exact car my wife wanted. Moe was great to work with and is very knowledgeable and professional. He took his time to explain all the warranties and options that were right for us. Had a solid buying experience here, but the service department leaves something to be desired. For more than 3x the cost of an oil change they performed an inspection and... nothing else. The list of work involves the oil change, a cabin air filter change, a tire rotation and some inspection notes. My experience with other dealers performing similar routine maintenance leads me to expect a significantly lower cost.I was really pleased with Jennings right up until this service, but now Ill be looking for an alternate place for routine maintenance.
Had a great leasing experience here with Jonathan!! He listened to what was important to me and expertly explained the different body styles to me. He was more up front and respectful with me in negotiations than their neighboring competitors. Meet several other Jennings folks while there and got the same feel from them all. I would highly recommend using Jonathan and Jennings.
Marie, David, Moe and Jennings in general were absolutely awesome when it came to purchasing our new Tiguan. We had a few mishaps along the way, but they went above and beyond to make it right. Their pricing is great right off the bat, and the no-pressure sales experience was a first! Well definitely be returning for another new VW soon!

They were the best dealership I dealt with in every single aspect including price, knowledge, customer experience, friendliness, etc.Just plain and simple they are the best car dealership I have ever worked with.Luis was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This time around, I went to turn in my current lease. Marie Postel was my sales agent and she was great! Dont let the appearance of a sophisticated millennial fool you - she was AMAZING to work with! Super friendly, courteous of my time, and knew the cars inside and out. Marie is a go-getter who wears many different hats. It seems like shes down to do whatever needs to be done for the customer. I was impressed with her plate changing skills and how well she knows the car! Good for her for being the only woman in sales at the dealership! TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!Received damaged vehicle post warranty repair. Had surrendered my Jetta to them completely functional without any mechanical or electrical issues. After warranty paint repair on the trunk, I received the Jetta back with a nonfunctional backup camera. I had asked them to resolve this matter to which I was treated with hostility from both low level and managerial staff. At one point I had to request them to remain calm and polite. I was informed by the manager - It is not our responsibility to ensure that your cars backup camera is functional as it is was installed after the purchase of the vehicle and not part of the original vehicle.When I refused to take the Jetta back, they sarcastically asked me How do you plan to get home? We will not give you a loaner. They also implied that when I gave my car in for work, it was my responsibility to give them a check list of all functional parts in the car. As they stated that I need to prove it was functional beforehand. However, when referencing the mechanics report, there was no mention of the backup camera not working. It is highly unlikely that their mechanic will not notice a blue screen on dash when reversing the vehicle and not make notation of such problem in his report. Additionally, the vehicle acceptance report from the dealership which details any problems upon acceptance - makes not mention either. Therefore, the dealer is being dishonest and trying to avoid taking responsibility.I will never recommend such this dealership which is dishonest, and unwilling to resolve a problem which they themselves created.No one has the right to damage someone elses vehicle and not resolve the problem!This dealerships business conduct is completely unethical and they show very little regard for the customer. Refrain from purchasing or servicing your vehicle at this dealership. Many other courteous dealerships in the Chicagoland area.I will not recommend this place to my friends, family and enemies.
Awesome experience from arriving at the dealership to driving off the lot with a new car. This is my wife and I second time working with Moe and David, and first time working with Craig. They were very friendly, took time to answer all of our questions and never pushy. They are very clear on all paperwork and take time to explain the cost and benefits of all the extended warranties, options etc. Having purchased several other vehicles, I can say that Jennings VW take a professional approach to car sales and understand that buying a car is a major decision. Rather than push you to buy, they really make sure you will be happy with the decision and the car. We will back to buy a third car at some point!!
Store was clean. General, the service guy, was very nice and very good at explaining each step of the process. The store fallows all the corona guide lines. I can’t find any to complain about
I specifically came in for an oil change last week. I have owned the car for less than 2-1/2 years, and there were only 26,814 miles on the car. My service advisor, Mayjorio Pope, was very aggressive about trying to upsell me on doing my 3 yr/30,000 service. I replied twice that I am under miles and time, but he kept pushing it. Eventually, he told me in a threatening manner that he had to make a note in my file that I was declining the service. Like it was some sort of mark on my permanent record. Im only declining the service because its not time yet! Back off dude!!!Then, apparently in a petty move because I declined his upsell, he didnt tell me my car was ready after the work was complete. He had promised to call me when the work was done. I went back to the service desk to enquire about status 45 minutes after the time that Mayjorio told me the car would be ready, and I was told by another advisor Oh, yeah, your car has been ready for 45 minutes.Really? In COVID-19 times I had to wait 45 extra minutes in a busy waiting area for nothing? Thats poor customer service!!! At least the quality of work was good, and the very pleasant cashier applied an account credit to the final bill for me...
Glerry was a phenomenal partner in our car buying process! We drove off the lot in a gorgeous (barely used!) 2018 Tiguan SE. Glerry helped us feel happy and comfortable through the whole process. We also worked with Moe to finalize the $$ paperwork and he was a helpful (and speedy!) resource. Overall great experience at Jennings.
I had an amazing experience purchasing a certified pre-owned Arteon. Craig was the first person I talked to and he was very understanding of our needs and had the patience to explain to us everything technology related. The TEAM at Jennings was amazing! Between staying 2 hours over on Wednesday night (Arek) and the patience and support on Thursday from Amir and Ken; Juliana was always available and helpful even as we disappeared for hours (another story); and we totally confused Moe who was wondering where we went and why we blew him off! The amazing hospitality and team oriented atmosphere was much appreciated! Peter is back at school with his black beetle and his brother JC is fine.....he called 911 while we were at the dealership because he had a stomach ache - just another day :) at our house! Hes totally fine; he just didnt want to bother anyone so he handled it on his own! Bought a used 2019 VW Golf Sportwagen from Glerry. Buying a car is never super fun and youre always going to walk away wishing you had paid less than you did, but Glerry and Jennings make it fairly painless and reasonable and I didnt feel like I got ripped off, which to me is about all you ask from a car dealership. Glerry in particular was very nice and helpful and I plan to go back to Jennings for my service based on my experience with the purchase. Would definitely recommend if youre in the market for a VW.
Working with Marie was great. Arek was extremely professional. The entire experience was very welcoming, honest, transparent, and a great display of integrity. We didnt close a deal on my first visit, but their first impression lead me back a couple weeks later to close a deal on a different car. Thats when I met Mo in finance, he was the cherry on top and went above and beyond to ensure I got best rate. Great overall, highly recommend.
