Finally, the work was completed when we were living elsewhere, but Ron kept in touch with us, sending us pictures and using FaceTime to get our input. Ron also helped us purchase new fixtures and installed them in a third bathroom, which was difficult because we needed to install the fixtures in an existing area. Kelly and her whole team were absolutely amazing to work with. From the design phase all the way through construction, everything was perfect. They were super helpful to my wife and I who don’t usually have the best design knowledge. Approximately 20 years ago we had our kitchen totally remodeled by Kitchens & Baths Unlimited. When we needed to convert our master bath to a shower we looked at various companies and then realized that we had used K&B Unlimited sometime back and had a great experience with them. Over 20 years later all the lighting and cabinetry looked like it had been remodeled yesterday. Companies come and go but they were still going strong so we decided to go with them.We met Kelly Thayer and found ourselves a perfect person to advise, and guide us through the choices and work to follow. She has been most responsive throughout the process and always helped us make the right decisions. We had a bathroom remodeled. The work was done on time and on budget. Kelly, the designer, was helpful and responsive. Best of all, I was kept informed of what would be happening next and when I would have workers in the house. On the pricey side, but we were willing to pay up a little to have someone coordinating the project for us and to be able to ask for design help when we needed it.

We hired KBU to remodel our bathroom and our kitchen. Kelly was great to work with. She had great ideas for the remodel jobs and we are really pleased with how everything turned out. Kelly Thayer is excellent with design ideas, but she is flexible and will take and run with your ideas or will blend hers and yours to meet your needs.For our master bathroom, she designed the shower section lower than the bathroom floor so there is no lip. Fully ADA compliant. Wheel chair accessible. Don’t need that yet, but maybe in the future.When we found out our new frig would require 3 inches of space on the left side by a wall for the door to open fully, she suggested adding more space and putting a pantry cabinet there set back enough so it would not interfere with the frig door.But K&B may not be the least expensive company you will find. Kelly and K&B stand behind their prices and fix mistakes at no extra cost. And K&B will make changes you request beyond the contract at reasonable prices.

We recently completed a complete kitchen, back powder room and laundry room renovation with Kitchens and Baths Unlimited. They had renovated our Master bathroom a few years ago, and we are still enjoying that gorgeous space. The current results are absolutely stunning and and this kitchen project was handled efficiently and professionally by both Ron, the owner, as well as all of the people who work for him. Everyone involved with the project, from Ron, to his contractors and even the designer he recommended, added smart and exceptional details to this very large and very complicated renovation. Ill start out by complimenting Ron. He is very knowledgable on remodeling. He offered many ideas to us on our complete top-to-bottom kitchen redo; many of which we implemented in our design. Ronresponded to most of our many texts/calls immediately. I hate waiting for days to get a call back and usually cant remember by then why I originally called. He has the traits I look for when hiring an employee.K&BU did a complete demo on our kitchen and built the cabinet replacements. K&BU has a wide variety of countertops to choose from; including quartz, granite and marble. These materials came in many styles, colors and various grades of quality. The same goes for cabinet choices. So many styles and colors it makes ones head spin.They runs a very efficient office. The staff is knowledgeable and quick to respond to emails/calls.Once K&BU completed the finish work the kitchen looked just as we had hoped, beautiful & more functional than the dinosaur that was our kitchen.

I was renovating a home I had recently purchased and Kelly helped redesign the kitchen, master bedroom, and a kids bathroom to be shared between a 9 year old girl and 12 year old boy. Kitchen and Baths was recommended by our interior designer. I also met with one or two other companies to compare and decide who to hire. I met with Kelly to discuss the project and was impressed with her ideas and knowledge and decided to use her for the project. I am very glad I did. She is very knowledgeable about the different cabinet lines and she gave me great ideas for making the most of both the space in the rooms and my budget. She listened to what I was looking for and was able to offer me various options and from that we worked together and found the best fit.I found Kelly to be very professional and she provided excellent service. She was always prompt and ready for our meetings and if there was ever a question I had or an idea or change I thought about making she listened and discussed with me and we got the right answer. Kelly is somebody that really follows through and cares about the project. There was one small problem (not that she created) where the cabinet company sent something in the wrong size. Kelly immediately had the right size sent and sent out with a rush order at no cost at all to me.The thing that stands out to me the most about Kelly is that she really cared about my project. She listened, provided guidance and expertise, and I believe she treated my remodeling job with as much thought and care as she would her own. She really cares about the customer being happy with the end project and not just about making a sale. I think the philosophy she takes is if you do what is best for the customer then the customer will give you repeat business and give you good word of mouth and that is how she appears to build her business. I was doing a major remodeling on the home I bought and I dealt with many different service people and companies- general contractor, electricians, glass companies, wood floor companies, etc.- and Kelly and Kitchens and Baths stood out quite a bit. I would highly recommend Kelly and if I need to do another project that she could help out on I would be happy to hire her again.
