Great deli counter and butcher shop in heart of Glenview. A wide selection of sandwiches, subs, paninis, meats, etc., gave the entire family something delicious to have for our lunch that day. Even a build your own sandwich kids menu for our picky eater not looking for one of the fancier combinations. Was impressed by the customer service and speed despite a pretty decent crowd coming through the doors. Will go back again for some of the delicious items in the butcher case, plus a variety of Italian grocery items make this a convenient stop for some high quality products like buns, seasoning, peppers, etc. Even a solid local beer selection! Cant wait to go again.

Ive only gotten their Italian style sandwiches, but theyre worth going for. Anything they have with cured meats are excellent. The raw meats in the butchers case look amazing too. You can eat in, but its a small area with only a few tables.

We just moved in down the street and placed our first order here yesterday and the customer service was great, as was the food! They were able to accommodate our order on short notice and were very gracious about substitutes when they were out of rolls. Well be ordering from here often!

Modern spin on a classic butcher shop. Gorgeous cases of fresh cuts, sausages, cold salads, etc. Deli menu includes 25ish sandwich combos. Had the most delicious, lean corned beef ever. Nom, nom, nom! IF I end up in the area again, Id go back.

This place is great and gives so much food (at least for me). I get the salmon and vegetables with a salad and man, I can never eat it in one sitting. Its so filling and tasty! The service is great especially while under this pandemic! I cant wait to dine in and see what its like sitting at the bar!

Always a great lunch stop for a freshly made sandwich and pasta salad (try their giardiniera one for a kick!). I like to browse their fresh meats and frozen homemade dinner options for a nice weeknight dinner.

Theyre now open for dine in al fresco. Went there on the first day of re-opening. Same quality of meat. Salads, warm, chilled foods are wheeled to your table. Cant wait to go back!

I needed bacon but wasnt dressed appropriately for a big store. TJs Ends and Pieces has always been my go to for its flavor, but they stopped carrying it. Then I remembered the new butcher in town. Bacon wasnt listed on the boards, but they said they could slice some. It appeared very thinly sliced when I got home, and I cut the long strips in half. All that said, this bacon is as good or better than any I have ever had, and I am old, and kind of a nut about bacon. The thickness is perfect after the cooking process. Dont make the mistake of having them cut it too thick. It is simply awesome bacon, for breakfast, BLTs, whatever.

I ordered from Forza for the very first time yesterday and selected my order for delivery. Unfortunately the delivery service Mercato received the order and never delivered my order to my home. As you can imagine I was very disappointed. I tried contacting Mercato to rectify and the customer service was absolutely terrible! I contacted Forza the next day and spoke with the owner. Tyler was very professional and made it right! He refilled my order and hand delivered it himself to Evanston! I can’t what until they open their new Forza location in Skokie! Three days ago, I called to ask if there were any fresh hams available for purchase, and the young man told me that he would have one of the butchers call me. After not getting a response, today, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, I decided to go into the store. I got to the store around 10:15a (only customer there) and spoke to a butcher about getting a ham; he said to speak with one of the 4 employees at the register. I walked over to the register and stood there for about ten minutes before more people started coming in and still no one acknowledged me, even though we made eye-contact, as they all seemed to be busy filling orders. The customers who came in after me were able to get their orders, pay, and leave while I stood waiting. Another butcher came up to me and asked, How may I help you? I explained again that I needed a 10lb fresh uncooked ham, and he said that he had to go talk to the butcher. Even though he came back with a disappointing piece of pork, I appreciated his help 100%, if not I would have still been standing there! After all that, I still ordered chicken and ended up giving it back because now I was waiting to be checked out behind five people who all came in after me, and the line was not moving. Heres the thing, I know it is the holiday season, however, if what I experienced today is the stores policy, it definitely needs to be changed. If the store cannot accommodate for both walk-ins and preorders, either hire more staff or close the store down to walk-ins. But to have 4 people behind the register dedicated to filling preorders, while a walk-in line is forming, thats unacceptable. Sadly to say, you just lost a customer. I LOVE your butcher shop and all that it offers, however that all falls to the wayside if the customer service is not there! Needless to say, I really enjoyed buying products from your company, however, driving 45m to you to be treated like that was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Being a young African American women and a chef, not from Glenview, I felt as though I was singled-out and overlooked, and I just want you to know that money is green and my money spends the same way as everyone elses. Happy Holidays and I pray that you do better in the new year!

We came across Forzas at some festival (in the long gone days when we had basic freedoms) and man my wife and I were impressed! Had to go try it out after that to see what they were about and sure enough the burgers were all that and then some!The mix they use for the burgers is ideal! Of course I find this ideal burger at the same time Im trying to cut down on red meat!Try the burgers, you wont be disappointed!

Was lured in by the nice looking building facade. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a great selection of deli sandwiches and traditional butcher shop offerings. They had a good selection of rubs, sauces and hot sauces. I cant wait to try their burgers out.

We had Forza meats cater a lunch- sandwich trays and a salad. The food was fantastic. Very fresh and the meats were outstanding. The shops owner even delivered our order, through an April snow storm (thanks for the fantastic service). I highly recommend Forza, and will come back.

In a word...this place is awesome! The quality of the meat is superb and they have some of the best tasting bacon, burgers, and meatballs Ive ever had. They even have a ton of gluten free options (meatballs, pasta, sandwiches). Dont miss this gem in downtown Glenview!

My kids and I walked in the store (clean and not overwhelmingly packed with stock yet appointed with homemade sauces and pizza’s and stomboli and not your run of the mill pasta brands) with the intentions of buying a pork shoulder to make a pork roast recipe I saw on line but, one look at the beef tenderloin roast changed our minds immediately. Don’t get me wrong. The entire display of meats in the cases looked beautiful we just couldn’t resist the upgrade . Mario the owner and butcher, so very nice and helpful suggested how to season and what temp to roast the beauty to obtain a medium rare result. It came out perfect and so tender and delicious. I will be back for my pork shoulder and meat for chili. They are open on Sunday’s!!!!’ Class act.Oh. did I mention their Italian sausage is off the charts.

This is a must-stop in the Glenview area for me. Their sandwiches are fantastic, meats are all superior quality, and I have even been present to witness a live carving event. The team really loves what they do and it shows in quality.

I honestly wish I could post the photo I took of the filet mignon, it was absolutely superb.Had my mother not been there when she was we would not have gotten such great steaks. She happened to stop there on a whim a few days ago (during the lockdown) as she wanted to help support local businesses, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and overall awesome with customer service, as well as gave her exactly what she wanted with no fuss whatsoever, also telling her about how to order online, how to do curbside pickup, and how to get all she would want.(Free delivery for online orders? Absolutely!)Dont go to a Big Box store ever again, spend the money and get incredibly high quality meat, with great service on the side. Outstanding.

Finally a meat market with the finest steaks, chops and everything you can think of. The sandwiches are fantastic especially the Meatball, but all the others are great too. Need something for dinner this is the place.

The selection and quality of meats at Forza is outstanding. Everything you can think of can be found here. Forza is also one my favorite places to drop in for lunch. The sandwiches are delicious and the staff is always friendly.

I cam into Forza for the first time after several solid recommendations and I have to say, it did not disappoint.An incredibly clean butcher shop where the cutters were all working diligently, but not to the point where they couldnt help me. Good sign.I perused the sandwich menu for a while before settling on The Menza Menz. A cold sandwich filled with corned beef, pastrami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickle, caraway mustard, and mayo. A delicious sandwich, though for my personal palette I would favor as a hot sandwich. A strong recommendation for anyone a fan of these meats. (I had the smaller size)I paired this with a Dads Root beer. The combo was perfect.Upon finishing my meal, I snatched up a couple amazing looking 1/2lb burgers, and some stuffed mushrooms. I have yet to try either, but will review upon the feasting of said pick ups.A+, guys.
