Staff were very nice and they helped me pick a bike that fit me very well. I recommend this place and will keep going there for any other bike problems I have.
Very helpful and competent people are working here. I got my issue fixed right away!
First time going here and had a great experience! These guys are super helpful, very knowledgeable, and friendly. Steven, in particular, was awesome! He helped me out with a bike I have that wouldnt shift gears and he got it done quick and efficiently. He even taught my a few things about maintaining my bike as well. Ill definitely be coming back for future bike maintenance, would highly recommend.
I had a problem with rear wheel. They fixed it very fast and for a reasonable price.
Excellent service from Alan and crew. I high recommend this shop.
Outstanding service! Alan Ruben and his staff are the best! This is the only bicycle shop in my area that I now go to for repairs. They were able to replace my parts on my bike that day while I waited for it to be repaired. I have never been at a bicycle shop like this repairing my bike the same day without my leaving it there. I dont drive and my bike is my means of transport so this by far made me the happiest person ever! Alan and his staff take great care of my bike and myself included. I never worry if my bike breaks down because I always know they will help for any emergency repair. Like a good mechanic that you would trust to bring your car to this is the place I trust to bring my bike.
Awesome place to fix bikes, its like a mechanic shop for bicycles, not a dealership that only sells them
Local, friendly, and knowledgeable bike shop with great products and service. Ive had tuneups done on my roadbike here as well as purchased tools and other biking gear. Alan is so helpful and gets you what you need without any nonsense at good prices. Did you know that they pack and ship bikes too? Parking can be a challenge, but its worth it!
Highly recommended! The staff are knowledgeable, very efficient and good at what they do. Mostly they are incredibly friendly especially Alan the owner. Prices are reasonable and they do an outstanding job. Get your bike fixed at Glenview Cycle then go to Dairy Bar next door.... both are Glenview staples.
Alan and his crew are the best. Great service and value. Highly recommended!
The people at this shop provided quick and friendly service. Recommended items for my bike while getting a part, but not pushy about it at all. I would definitely return for their help anytime.
Great customer service! Got me in and out in 30 min and was very affordable and fair with pricing. I have no problem driving the 30 mins for a great business!
I was so pleased by the friendliness of the staff, their excellent work on the bike and their very fair prices. I look forward to using the shop again - though they did such a great job on the bike tune-up, it may not be for quite a while!
Nice and knowledgeable staff. They’re crazy busy right now with the pandemic, but still patient, answer any questions you have, and try to go above and beyond where they can. Great to see business is so good for them.
I asked fo repair things on my bike. They greased it and changed me a full price for repair...I’m a type that will paid and never come back.I don’t do Business with scammers
Alan is always very helpful.
The most kind, respectful, honest, flexible, attentive and knowledgeable service professional service for bicycles and beyond. I know what I care about, and their main customer facing front man Alan knows their businesss product line and most of their competition inside out. Their most affordable high quality product line is Giant out of China. Their entire team can fix a cherished Schwinn, or my 1985 Panasonic with mudsplash shielding fenders, and accessorize it with old school human powered wheel mounted generators to power front and rear lights, or the newer battery powered lights or whatever you can find that you want added. I love my handlebar cupholder and new red handlebar tape! Their technicians are both engineers and functionally tradesmen. The shops location is right at the downtown Glenview stop on the Chicago Metra Milwaukee district North Line --or/also-- only Illinois Amtrak stop heading toward Milwaukee. They have a very small rental fleet of bikes available for tourists or your visiting guests --- as well, they are a viable suburban shopping alternative for a person in the city relying on public transportation ready for more personal independence.I was just there and the store had very few bikes in stock and Alan told me they have a large shipment of new Giant bikes due to arrive on the back half of October.
Had a flat rear tire quick fix and I was on my way!
The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful! They were able to fix my bent wheel quite quickly!
Great place. Friendly and reasonable. They go the extra mile.
Excellent local bike shop. Careful & fast!

Steven worked on my bike, very fast & friendly service. I 100% recommend
Awesome staff, great service, honestDefintly Deserve 5 🌟 👍
Great family bike shop that also sells and services high end bikes
Stay away from this shop. I called in to estimate an MTB headset replacement a shop personnel quoted $15. Brought in my bike with a complete headset for replacement. When I came back to pick it up they said the charge is $35 - stated that they had to redo the fork. After few arguments they generously offered to drop the price up to $20. When I inspected the bike it appeared that they havent replaced the crown race on the fork as well as the old star flanged nut and the top cap. When I addressed my concern they stated that this does not need to be replaced as the old parts are still good. I said that this is not what I expected to get - that if bring in a part for replacement I want it replaced entirely and the old crown race is of a different style. The shop attendant took the bike back and started replacing the crown race. When he was done, the crown race was not seated evenly and he had to redo it again. As it appeared later he put it on upside down. When I came back home I wanted to replace the top cap with one that came with the new headset but wasnt able to because of the old star nut that is seating there misaligned.
Great bike store with very knowledgeable staff! Issac was very helpful.
An A+++ Repair Shop. Alan and his team would do the impossible to fix any issue you have with your bike. They are Honest, sincere and dedicated guys. Reasonable prices and most important they always give free advice and recommendations. Thank you for for taking care of my bikes.
My family loves Glenview Cycle . From the minute you walk in it is a great experience. From sales to service you cannot beat them. The owner Alan knows his stuff. I have bought 4 bikes from him and would never go anywhere else. If you live in the Glenview area Glenview Cycle is a must!Todd Stern
Glenview Cycle is the best! Thanks Alan and bike shop friends.
Isaac was super helpful at the bike shop. My teenage son was hesitant to get a new bike... but with help from Isaac we got him a new sweet black bike and he uses it to get to school, go to the library and hang with friends. Thank you Glenview Cycle!
Had my bike tuned up and refit a couple of weeks ago - nice store and staff. Selection looked pretty good as well. However I only got to get riding this week and my derailleur pulley is broken, and the shop said nothing was wrong. So I wonder if they really did anything.
I was referred here by my father-in-law. I went in on Sunday for a tune-up. They did a quick analysis of the bike and determined it did in fact need a tune-up. They said it would be ready on Tuesday, but I got a call on Monday saying it was complete. I was very happy to get the call a day early. The service was quick, friendly and very professional. I would recommend you check this place out.
Best shop around! Alan and his crack technicians can always make my bike run great. They are extremely fair, fast and trustworthy.
THIS IS THE BEST BIKE SHOP IN ILLINOIS...WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!!
In Glenview theyre are the best very good people
I got some great advice over the phone from somebody there today. Forgot the name sorry.I look forward to patronizing this shop. Thanks,TimUpdate: Thsnks for removing my crank bearings just before closing time. Totally saved the weekend for me.Tim
Experienced and skilled mechanics. Friendly staff.
Ive been here multiple times and always leave happy. The guys here are always very helpful and friendly and know their stuff on bikes. I bought my bike before I found these guys, but everything I get now comes from them. I bought a rack for my car recently, which they were out of when I came in. They told me when it would be in and even held it in the back for me till I could make it in to get it. Great to do business with, Ill be sending everyone to them from now on.
Busy during this pandemic but they are staffed and handling the load well it seems. Got a spoke replaced and it was less than $20. Thanks!
The staff was helpful and did not try to get me to spend more money on servicing my bike. They are friendly and I will happily return with my future business.
Very nice people here
Nice employees
I stinking love the bike shop that I purchased my bike from but its a bit of a trip. I stumbled upon these guys just because I needed some lights. Highly, highly recommend them. They are so kind and knowledgable. I came in real quick at the end of the day so they could throw on a phone clip, they did it in two seconds and filled my tires, no charge even right before close. They knew my bike even though its a little odd. Great store. 100% will be back for sure.
Went there for help with a broken stroller I bought from Craig’s List. I’m a gramma and this was a double mclaren umbrella stroller to keep when grands visit. Only used 1 week before a piece snapped and manufacturer was no help. Store in Chicago that is listed as the service center was also no help.Steven was great. He drilled a new hole, found nuts and bolts to fix the stroller all while I waited. If you google stroller repair you get no one in the area. I tried the bike shop cause they have always been helpful in the past with bikes. He went out of his way on a busy day. Thanks Steven.
Fantastic local shop! Good inventory of new bikes and accessories and mechanics on staff to assist with repairs, tune ups, etc
This place is great.
