I absolutely adore this place. It’s close to my Grandparent’s house so I used to go there for wonderful ukulele lessons. Sometimes I would even just hang out there and play the piano and talk with the workers (who are amazing with kids and in general). If it wasn’t for this place I would’ve probably given up on music! Now I play many instruments and can sing as well and plan to learn even more.
Quick and easy rental of a violin for my child
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff 😀
This Glendora Ca. store was condensed with easy to view merchandise, polite staff. Some real bargains in written music. Fast easy shop.
The customer service I received at this store was fine given the circumstances. The review is for my overall experience ordering from Music and Arts.I ordered two items that, according to the order page, were supposed to be shipped to this store and ready for pick up within 2-7 days. One item was ready the next day, but it took 3 weeks for the rest of my order to arrive. When I went to pick my order up, the first item was present, but the second item was not in its packaging. I waited three weeks for an empty bag.If I had known that it would have taken three weeks to be disappointed, I would have rather have taken five minutes to look in the mirror.
Ive gone there in the past for instrument repair (clarinet) and found them reasonably priced, and Ive been pleased with their work. Today I brought my clarinet in for a very quick and easy repair - replacing one small bit of cork. Not only was it quick and easy, but he didnt charge me! I knew it wouldnt be expensive, but I did not expect free!
Very very friendly service they have and a great selection. I love my electric guitar
I love this store. Not only are the people there friendly and helpful, most of the sticker prices are a good deal here too! There was only one item I can think of that I bought that wasnt wonderful, and after talking to the salesman, they gave me a great deal on it. I dont know what else you can ask for in a music store. Theyre friendly and the have great gear and good prices.
Two bumbling wannabe instrumentalists stroll into Music & Arts Glendora in the hopes of finding direction. Their unassuming kindly sage, Samantha U. offers her wisdom, empowering their dreams to become reality.
I had a flute and a piccolo repaired here. They didnt do a good job. My piccolo was given back to me with hot glue strands hanging off of it and a small wooden piece wedged into a pad. When I complained about the piccolo, they simply clipped of the glue strands and handed it back. It was clear that they would not be able to make it better. I had to take the instruments to another shop to have them rerepaired. I wont be back.
About 5 years ago I brought a recorder in and asked for a thumb rest for it. Instead of ordering the $5 removable factory thumb rest which was made for that model, they installed an ill-fitting 3rd-party metal thumb rest with screws that are so long that they protrude inside the barrel, so that if the thumb rest were ever removed, it would leave holes in the barrel. Worse, they charged me $65 for this junky little metal piece and the 5 minutes of labor to install it. When I complained, they blew me off.I will never go back there.I see that theyve been acquired by Music & Arts, which resulted in a name change, but it sounds like its still the same folks running the store, so my review will stand.
Bought some guitar strings for my son here. not a bad store.
2018 will be my 16th year as a music instructor at Gard’s. I cannot say enough good things about the store. The management, staff, teachers have all contributed to the wonderful experience I have had .; not to mention all the wonderful students over the years who have allowed me to help them strive towards their musical aspirations. HAVE A HAPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR ......😊
