We bought the Tesla Model Y from the Americana, Glendale location. Our experience was excellent all the way from the test drive to the car delivery. Would highly recommend Karen who was super attentive, promptly addressed our questions on delivery schedule and followed up on the next steps.

This location has the worst customer service experience. I feel like once they sell a customer on the car its like they made a sale and there done with there job. I was told Id have a car before a certain month and now its been extremely stressful because the date keeps changing. I ask my account consultant and he doesnt reply back which has me calling other tesla locations due to there lack of customer service and me getting the run around. I would not recommend using this location if want to order a tesla. If I could give negative stars on my experience I would.

I’m in a lease that expires in 4 months and I’m trying to decide what to get. For the first time in my life I have a budget to get something I actually want and don’t have to settle for the most basic style sedan. I stopped in to this Tesla location and I think that’s the direction I’m currently leaning. The cars and the technology that goes inside them is unfathomable. Elon musk is a real one and I hope that I end up in a new model S within the next few months!

BEWARE - Do NOT purchase from this location.BEWARE of “manager” JASON.I purchased my vehicle in 2019 where the Tesla salesman stated that I would be receiving a $250 gift card and 1 year of valet as a rewards promo for purchasing at this specific location.I followed up on my rewards upon delivery of my vehicle and the salesman reassured me that my info was sent off to the rewards department. I continued to follow up months after delivery, as I never heard back. The salesman started to ignore my messages and became less responsive after I took delivery of my vehicle. I have emails dated from 2019 through Jun 2020 regarding the follow up of my rewards. Even more disturbing is that I was told there were a whole bunch of people who had purchased their vehicle before me and still had not received their rewards.After a full year has passed and being patient for this reward, I decided to call Tesla on Dec 2020 where I was redirected to the manager, JASON. He sent an email to the rewards department and I did not get a reply for 4 weeks; I finally got a reply at the end of Jan 2021. The rewards department stated that Tesla never sent my information to them so that I was no longer eligible for the rewards, as the program expired on Sep 2020. Even though I explained that I purchased my vehicle in 2019, they said they could not do anything for me. Jason remained silent and did not reply at all, even though I sent him an email expressing concern over the lack of organization and responsiveness from him and his team. The disorganization is clear between Tesla and the rewards company, where they will not take accountability for screwing over customers.Take your money elsewhere. This location will scam you into buying a vehicle from their specific location and then they will ignore you after they take your money.

Tesla, you had me at $100.This review is going to be fun for me. I have a lot to say, but my goal is to be as helpful as possible and not babble on. I will try to be concise.Its been about eight years since Ive had a new car and I usually get a reliable used car. I like putting my money toward investments and not expensive vehicles. Tesla Model 3 had too much value to pass up this time around.I will first discuss my buying experience, things Ive learned, and any tips that may be helpful.TEST DRIVE - I called Tesla at the Americana and scheduled a test drive. Its important to be on-time for your appointments as they are known to get pretty booked up. I ended up being 20 minutes late, but they still fit me in right away, which was great. I made sure to test drive the Model 3 Standard Plus as this was the price range I wanted. I know myself if I test drove the performance model, Id be hooked and scraping money together to get it. Driving a Tesla for the first time was a bit surreal, but I did feel an itch to floor-it but held back as my Tesla driving instructor was monitoring me. Overall that car was the best vehicle Ive ever driven in terms of speed, handling, and feel. So now what?BUYING - I sat down with Luis, my Tesla Owner Advisor. He answered my question, which was basically about the pricing and delivery of my Tesla and gave me no pressure to buy. He helped me log in to my account that I had already created to reserve the test drive. For $100, I started my order for a Tesla, which is ludicrous. Getting full self-driving for the extra 7k charge with your Tesla is a given at this point, I mean come on. Estimated was about 30-45 days for my car to be ready which varys for everyone.PRO TIP - While youre waiting for delivery, you should take this time to learn about charging your Tesla and possibly get an electrician out to your home. Yelp helped me search for an electrician to help me install either a Nema 14-50 or Tesla wall charger. What I discovered at the 4-plex Im renting at is that the electrical wiring for the property would need a complete overhaul before being able to add any new outlets. Thankfully my insurance office in San Fernando has a plug right outside, so no issue there.DELIVERY - After a month of checking my status in my Tesla account, I received a text message prompting me to set up an appointment and complete my payment online before taking delivery. I had already uploaded my insurance, finished my Tesla financing option at 3.19%. I ran into one issue when I had accidentally backed out of my pre-approved financing at 3.19% to see the other payment options. It was like my pre-approval disappeared, and the system wanted me to go in and re-submit. I did not want the system to ding me for another credit inquiry, and I know that usually, a pre-approval is good for at least 30 days. I was able to call up Luis at Tesla, and he was able to see my pre-approval on his end and get it to pop back up for me, which was a relief.TESLA INSURANCE: I quoted insurance with Tesla, but it was still more expensive than my current insurance office Farmers Insurance Alex Nunez in San Fernando :). I have an Umbrella, Renters, Car, and Life Insurance altogether, and its just cheaper with all the combined discounts, and I like my limits over a million.PICK UP - I arrived at Tesla in Burbank and was invited to sit in on a brief Tesla introduction presentation. Everyone at Tesla had a smile on their face, and customer service was excellent. At the close, they get you logged into your Tesla app and have you honk your hour and find your car. It was enjoyable and just a great experience overall.DRIVING - So far, its been fantastic. Ive been able to enjoy autopilot and enjoy the speed, and boy does it accelerate! We have a Tesla 3, weve driven it back to Michigan then Tennessee and back to California two times (7000m) since the covid-19. Plenty of charging, awesome ride, handles fantastic. This is the best, Made in the USA automobile, Ever!.

Been in the car industry for a long time, first of all I never noticed signing a full retail installment contract. All is stated was do you accept the term, click here to approved. Also no one explain how to find my retail installment contract. figure it our after 2 days. Second the left the wrong DMV form, in the returned FED Ex enveloped call multiple times an no one answer!! but anyway good thing I am familiar with filling out DMV forms and having them around. Since no one answer phones a regular person would have waisted time, drive to a store an get new dmv forms.. Also my sales rep never input my referral code so I didnt received the 1k miles. what a bummer! right. Be aware to check for all these items before they deliver your car! make sure u ask where u can find your retail installment contract, check DMV forms, make sure your referral code is added ! there customer service after purchase is not so great!

Funny about Theresa Parkers post because I am the same way. The two younger gentleman that are the working the shift today (10/14/2020 @2pm) had absolutely no interest in potential customers or even the Tesla brand at all. Besides a hello from one of them, my family was not at all acknowledged. Great brand, horrible representation.

I never dress nice at car dealerships to see how I will be treated. Nissan and Toyota dealership ignored me, the gentleman at this Tesla location took AMPLE time to go over MANY features and never once seemed bothered by my questions. I will definitely buy a Tesla as my next car

Went in to see if we could take a test drive (unscheduled, but wanted to see if they could accommodate). The sales people thoroughly ignored us, and we couldn’t even look in the showroom cars because there were poorly behaved children and teenagers in every single car. When I went and stood at the empty desk so they would have to stop ignoring us, the woman who finally acknowledged me was incredibly rude and condescending. She explained it wasn’t possible to take a test drive because they were severely understaffed due to deliveries. I’m sorry, but that is staffing 101, especially during the last week of the year.

I found this showroom an interesting place to walk into. Fun & Enjoyable.It was free to walk in AND it was free to walk out (....unless you decided to buy one of the high-end cars while you were in there !)The sales people were very friendly and were willing to explain Teslas varied & unique features - even if there was no way that we could buy. I walked out much more informed than I was when I walked in - and had a good time learning.

Tesla as a company and Tesla Americana could care less about you or the hard earned money you spend on their cars. Wish there was a zero stars option. My husband and I went to look at the Model X, our third Tesla in the last 6 years (loyal, now former clients), and completed all the paperwork. NINETY MINUTES prior to our delivery appointment to pick up the car, Kirby, the manager of Tesla Americana called us to say there was a problem with the car in their system, it was used and they could no longer lease it to us. She told us they would try to make it right. They could not find a comparable car/deal to the one which was promised and refused to make any other concession to make the situation right, saying per Tesla policy/her regional manager they cannot discount anything or add options for no additional cost. This is just bad business and bad company culture.To recap, Teslas attitude is: We made a mistake. We cant find a comparable replacement. We refuse to make it right. Take it or leave it. Im just relieved we hadnt traded in our previous car yet, we would have been stuck without a car and no help from Tesla Americana. I get that they dont negotiate car prices. But to not offer anything/take any responsibility after making such a huge mistake? With a loyal, repeat client? From the regional manager?A word on the actual cars: Aside from the technology, the interior of the cars are minimalist. Very little storage space and they cant even be bothered to put a mirror on the visors in the X. For the price these cars command, like, really? Also, my husbands car is buggy. On a few occasions, the car wouldnt shift into gear, I had to actually exit the car, walk away and come back for it to reset and work. Clearly Tesla, and Tesla Americana, feel they dont have any responsibility to the consumers spending their money on their products. Take your money to a company that actually cares if you buy their cars.

Do not buy at this location! I referred a friend, who bough a Model 3 and neither of us received our referral bonuses. When we reached out to Leslie Tong, the store manager, the response we got is that they are working on it and that well receive our bonuses. My friend took delivery of his car on May 8th, 2019 and we still havent received them. Teslas customer service is a joke too...they do not respond and no one ever picks up the phone. I have never experienced such bad customer service and lack of professionalism from an auto company.

We previously leased 2 Teslas. Have been loyal customers for 6 years. Went in to test drive a X100D. It was a demo model, had every feature we needed and we wanted it. Immediately put down the 2500 deposit. The sales person Gabriel was nice, ran us through the numbers and assured us he that car was ours. Went through all the steps. Credit app approved. Proof of insurance, all the steps is takes including securing a delivery date. Excited to be welcoming a new car into the home for the wife! Manager Kirby calls an hour and a half before the delivery time. She says sorry we cant sell you the cat anymore. There was a mistakeIn the system and its not eligible for sale. Shes really sorry and will help make it right. I know its a car but out holes were up we did everything we were suppose to do. So I call back. What are the next steps? She gives nothing concrete, totally apathetic. I ask if she would be able to upgrade our rims if we build a model? Anything you can do? She then says sorry its our policy we can offer any upgrades or price breaks. So she doesnt want to admit she wont do anything to make up for the mistake. The culture of this manager and company lacks any customer service. They could care less. I know most people will buy one anyway. Im just one voice but if this review helps just one person switch from this dealership, these managers or this brand it helps us normal people. Take your dollars somewhere where they will care about you or giving good service. Tesla and Kirby dont care about customer service. Completely disappointed in this brand and its culture.

Reaching SUPPORT is a hassle. I downloading the app as it is the only way to make an appt., and it keeps freezing on me. It wont even allow to you make an appt. on the website (it should be an option when app fails). Calling support is unavailable and not an option.
