Took my car here for a rear brake pad replacement and rotors waited two and a half hours before getting with the cardin then they didnt have the parts right before closing. So basically it was the rest job on the job so they move on time I left with the light still on that the car brake pads need to be replaced. The next day I drive the car the car completely quits in the middle of the street Im thinking its the battery sorry replace the battery then the car does the same thing I have to have the car towed for a total of four times, throw it back to them because it did none of this before it went to them they just tell me it had prior codes stored up in the car and that they didnt do anything to it they charged me $485 the brakes this week we never take anything to this place ever again

Owner and staff where very friendly to me, wife and 1 year old daughter who is super shy with strangers and she was laughing with them. They have a little play area for kids while you wait. Service was good and fast the only reason I did not give 5 stars, because I felt for what they did it was very expensive.

Ok so I didn’t expect a Brake Masters to do work on Audi’s. So I was super impressed when they fixed my car 3 times. Hand to God, these guys bent over backwards to get my car fixed. Everything was reasonably priced especially comparing to what the dealer was trying to charge me. Nicest group of people I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ve never trusted a mechanic in my life. I won’t take my car to anyone else unless I have to. Seriously take your car to these folks! KEN the store manager was FREAKING AMAZING! You’ll seriously want to buy them pizza or something they are Soooo Good! Seriously when you get your car back go buy them pizza!

Believe the reviews of the people telling you about their bad experiences at this location. The store manager Ken is a slimeball that will lie his way into making you pay for overpriced maintenance and when completed your vehicle is returned in worse condition then before. In 2016 this was an establishment built on values and integrity. Now its a place that will rip you off then try sending you somewhere else to get your car fixed. I really dont think they have the knowledge or resources to do good work but they still want to charge top dollar for below average work. Ive went to them for 2 different issues and they offered to fix it, charged me thousands, then sent me somewhere else to actually have the vehicle repaired. If Kens lips are moving hes lying. You can tell just by how hes saying things that hes pretty much making stuff up then slapping you with an outrageous price. Hell pretend hes going to take care of you and your in good hands. Next thing you know your screwed and left to figure it out on your own.

I took my car for transmission flush. My car didnt have leaks. My Mechanic fixed my car before flush put thermostat. I had no problems with my car. After brake masters I had leaks, from thermostat. All of sudden I need$745.00 in repairs. Ill never go there again. My transmission sometimes slips now. Thin fluid in transmission now Cheap. Cant believe cant trust them anymore.my Mechanic check it afterwards hose was loose over thermostat. He fixed it for me.

They did the brakes on my daughters car in about 2 hours. It cost her about 200, for the front brakes, cleaning and alignment. I liked that the gentleman was honest with her and told her the back ones where still good and didnt need to be done. Most places would just try to take u for all they can.

I made an appointment on Sunday afternoon, showed up 20 min. early. I was taken in immediately. Replacing rear brakes on my wifes car. I was informed on brakes 10 minutes later, very professional! Received exactly what I needed, out the door in less than an hour! Very pleased!!

Yet again... they were simply wonderful and most important.. they were honest. It was 4PM and 3 auto repair shops prior to Brake Masters declined me because it was too late. I just needed a radiator hose replaced. As I was going to Sprouts, I passed by Brake Masters and remembered that they had done an oil change before. I called them to see if they replaced radiator hoses and they said YES!! They said, “bring it in”. I was surprised. It was past 4 and they close at 5:30 and they said to bring it in!!! It turns out my hose was fine and it just needed to tighten the clasps that hold the hose. They tightened them and did not charge me a thing! Some other shops could have easily made something up and charged me for a service that was not needed. I’m so grateful for this Brake Masters. Very honest place.

I came to this shop when I was in college and just got accepted into ASU and my car at the time broke down. I had one semester left to finish and not a dollar to my name. I legit cried in the parking lot. I got myself together and ken helped me figure out the payment situation and my car was fixed. Some years later post graduation I got a luxury car and my check engine light came on. I initially took it to two other shops closer to my home but they were nice but not much help. I decided to take it back to Ken today(8-10-20) and he took care of the issue no problem. I say that to say this; Ken and the rest of the crew are solid, loyal, loving individuals. I was very happy with Brake Masters. I went in thinking I needed to get new front brake pads and rotors. It turned out that all I needed was for the rotors to be grounded. I appreciated their honesty and will definitely use them in the future.

When they received the wrong master cylinder, and a new one was coming in over an hour, they bought lunch, for my 10 year old nephew to help with the wait. The news wasnt great, but thats not their fault. But they were able to get the work done that day so I could still take my family out the next day. Didnt diagnosis cars issues correctly, then fixed a non major problem. Not even home from the shop and car was still overheating. Took vehicle back, new Major $1200 issue. Huh? Why wasnt that problem caught the first time? Wouldnt have had the previous $250 of work done initially. Now that car is totaled out with a brand new fan, but a busted water pump. Thanks!

The level of professionalism that Ken Becker and his team provides is above and beyond what any other shop provides. I got ripped off from these guys. I took my work truck in with a hard code to figure out, a random misfiring. They told me they would DIAGNOSE my issue for free if I got the work done with them. I agreed and spent about 380$ for them to fix the issue. Turns out, they didnt do either one of those things, neither diagnose nor fix the issue. Very troubling and disheartening being a 28 year old kid trying to fix my work truck and got ripped off by these people.

I went there without an appointment.I was expecting to wait at least 2 hours but I was out of there in 50 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised.

Brought my car in with many issues and they were very helpful and honest about what needs to be done. After most of the repairs were done, I went through emissions, but they said my DLC was loose. So I came back in to get that looked at along with finishing my previous issues. They didn’t charge me for the DLC being loose and helped me with the other repairs. Definitely will be back!***EDIT*** Went to emissions this morning again. They said my DLC was glued shut so I couldn’t get it checked. Now I have to buy a whole new part. I appreciate getting it “fixed” for free, but it’s frustrating that I have to get a new part for my car that didn’t need it, and idk if the rest of my issues I came in with originally were done properly. Lowered from a five start to a two star because they were still nice, but now the trust is lost unfortunately. Won’t recommend anymore.

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Ken & Butch for a number of years now. My own experience has been positive on every occasion. One particular visit while waiting for my service to be completed I saw a young woman come in and ask that her brakes be fixed. After inspecting her car, Ken told her he had good news and bad news. The bad news was that new brakes would cost her just over $400. The good news was she didnt need brakes, and that he made the necessary adjustments at no charge for her. I only share this story because from that day forward Ive instructed my 5 daughters to only take their vehicles to this Brake Masters. They are fair, honest and trustworthy - a difficult combination to find in mechanics unfortunately. They will work with you and find ways to save you money without compromising your safety. Ive gotten the list of $850 worth of needed repairs from auto shops before. These guys will prioritize that list for you if you cant get it all done on your budget.

Thank you Ken and your crew for not giving up. I took my F 150 in because it was showing a check engine light. After the diagnostic check, it showed the head sensor wasnt working right so they replaced it but that wasnt the problem. They told me it could be my cluster or modual in the dash board area and i might have to take it to another place to fix it. But before i had to do that, they wanted to try other things. So what good mechanics do, they start over again and finally just following the sensor wiring all the way to the computer they detected a split in the wire and fixed it. way to go guys. So Happy

I went to Brake Masters #147 on 51st Ave and Peoria on April 14 thinking I was going to have to pay $600 -$700 to fix both front and rear brakes. This is what I was quoted by two other brake shops, including the Brake Masters in Scottsdale. Turns out I did not need new roters and the total service only cost $232! Matt, Ken, and their team were courteous and professional. My car was ready in about three hours, which was amazing for a busy Saturday! Good job guys!

The customer service is excellent. When I went in for brakes thet were fast and efficient. They also wrote down what needed to be fixed on my car. They justt didnt write down anything to get a sale. It was stuff that really needed to be done. They also explained everything to me and what was most important so I could get it done first. When I went back to have some of the work done they again were very helpful and fast. They had my car done sooner than expected and they did an excellent job. They are very truthful and will have your car done right.

So, this is not my first visit here, but my second. I went in on a coupon special for a front end alignment. I did not have a scheduled appointment, and they were more than happy to help me. I left for about half an hour, and when I returned, they were working on my car! Roughly another half hour passed, and the Manager came in from the bays, scanned the room, and speaking half with/to those of us who were there, said to me, You are on the alignment rack and almost done.He then looked at the next person to me; a lady, and told her that she, likewise, was almost done. To the next gentleman he came to, he said, You are going to be here for a little while, as we are still working on your car. So, what would you like for lunch? The gentleman politely deferred, but the Manager insisted that he would be buying his lunch either way, and suggested that he could choose or have the Manager choose for him! I was overwhelmed by his kindness, to say the least! At that point, one of the Technicians came in and called me up to let me know that my car was ready. There were no hidden fees nor ghost charges, and not even any service tax nor disposal fees! I paid the price on the coupon and nothing more! Over all, this was a FANTASTIC experience! My car is just over 20 years old, and the best I can afford. I know that there is work it needs. But; there was no attempt to hard sell me on ANYthing---a pleasant surprise, to say the least. It is a hard thing to find a Mechanic who you feel is not going to attempt to prey on your lack of knowledge every time you take your car in for work, and I feel I have found that here. Truth be told, I feel as though I took my car to my brother who knows how to work on cars, and he and a friend worked to fix my car. I MOST HIGHLY recommend taking your car to this shop if you need work done on it! This shop will be my Go To repair shop from here on out! After my experience yesterday, I am a die-hard customer!
