Walked into the store with intentions of purchasing a vacuum. This is a big purchase because I wanted to make sure I bought a premium quality vacuum. I didn’t know much about different models, sizes, types, etc. The owner was very kind and helpful and made me feel that I was making the right choice. Highly recommend.

Want to warn future customers of this store that I was shocked at their lack of customer service and rudeness. I took my vacuum to be serviced and when I brought it in was told it would be evaluated and prior to any work I would be notified.I was called and told nothing was found to be wrong but that I could have service for 90 dollars when I asked what the charge was for I was told to clean and replace a filter and it would look new. I declined the service which at this time I am trying to not spend extra money.I went to the store to pick up my vacuum and was told I needed to pay a service fee of 20 dollars. Had I been told that from the get go I would have been fine with that. BUT the owner took the defensive route and said there was a list of service costs at the counter. I did not have my phone or would have taken a pic. The list was taped to a binder on the side of the cashier area. Unless looking for it or have it pointed out you wouldn’t see it. When I said that again I was told “Should I tape it to the window” I said yes you should or bring it to the customers attention. So I didn’t feel like arguing more so went to pay it with my Amex. Owner states he doesn’t take visa I said it’s not visa it’s amex. He said I don’t take Amex. Meanwhile there are two stickers on cashier area that says he does take it and a sign on his door that he takes it. When I point that out he states “ I am in the owner and I say no they charge a fee. “ again had he been polite and point out I am sorry I use to take it but would ask that you please pay with another card I would have been receptive. This owner is very unprofessional and they lost my business.

Biggest Rip off ever. This guy charged me $20 to replace and put on a belt and filter on my working hand vac. I went there often for 15 years and was never charged that kind of fee until this new owner took over. I only went there to buy vacuum bags, a brush and hose (which he didnt have mine) to get the filter and order a beater bar brush that was wearing down. My hand vac still worked just needed a new brush and filter to perform better. He says lets see maybe its the belt, I can put one on for you . I told him its not broken but you can put one on anyway, we can do that at the same time.I only needed the parts. I didnt need him to do it for me but I figured ok how much could that possibly cost. He wanted to charge me $10 for the filter that costs 3.50. Instead he charges me $20 for a belt and filter for a hand vac. I said forget the order for the things you dont have in the store and I paid and walked out. He wont be seeing me any more. I give him 6 month to a year before hes gone.

Call Friday and mentioned that I wanted to rent a carpet shampoo machine. Said no problem, just come in and will show me how to use it. Picked it up Saturday morning. Was charged for 1 day because they are closed Sunday. Returned it to the hardware store next door Sunday afternoon. Always had great service from this location.
