Good ice cream but service quality can be improved.1) They forgot one item in the order while keeping the other one melting in the back. After reminding them the missing item, they quickly made the forgotten item but served it with the one melting in the back alongside. Once confronted they re-made the molten item and let us keep the molten one.2) They serve in glass or plastic according to how they feel like it. Our friends got served in glass while we were served in plastic. Consistency would have been nice.

I was served spoiled ice cream here. This seems like a Health and Food Safety violation. It was really disgusting. Insane to have spent $8 on ice cream at a upscale ice cream place only for it to be sour. I thought it was just cheesecake ice cream at first. I had another person try it to confirm. After I called twice they let me know I shouldnt eat it, a bite or two too late.

We stopped in on a Friday night (10/8). They were very busy, and like most places, are short staffed. Those who were willing to show up for work were busting their tails trying to take care of customers. There was a mistake with our order (not the end of the world). The manager followed my husband out to the car to catch up with him and apologized for the service. The products we received were delicious as always. As with many restaurants and retail outlets these days, we just need to have a bit more patience. Thank you for your hard work and the tasty treats!

Great pizza! Great ice cream! Black Raspberry chocolate chunk very yummy! However, there was no adult on-site. I told the girl behind the counter that there were no napkins in the holders and she said ok, then reached under the counter to grab some for me then put the bag back under the counter. 🤦‍♀️why not fill the containers?! Note: she had no orders to make. When we walked out we noticed there was not one employee at any of the three restaurants. Need more training!

The ice cream is good, definitely above average. But the service is some of the worst service from any restaurant. Orders take forever, how do orders take so long? It’s just ice cream. Even Buffalo Wild Wings is faster…

Good products but the service needs work to say the least… I witnessed few orders that where wrong and when I got my order after 15 min wait mine was wrong as well. I had 3 different employees ask me what my order was and if I paid already. They need leadership/management

Empty glasses because the Dessert was so Great. My girlfriend and i recently visited here she ordered a lava cake and unfortunately didnt like the taste was so Heavy and with the her being pregnant asked for a switch to a regular chocolate sunday. Was Extremely busy tonight yet Kristen (Manager Burger Side?) was Fantastic within a couple minutes she exchanged it quick and Provided a Refund being an avid customer was a great feeling . Highly Recommend! Thank you once again for another Delicious Desert!

I went in to just get some sweet Oberweis ice cream, and was meat with a very empty store, it is connected to a restaurant as well and even the rest was completely empty. And not just from customers coming in but no emoyees around either. I had to actually call the store itself to have the employee, ironically named John Smith, so it was kinds sus that no one around and a gentleman named John Smith answering the phones. Im sure it was ok, but this John Smith has a very big ego complex and started to just try and argue with me when I asked why their wasnt anyone to greet me, and obviously he was embarrassed, but that doesnt give you the reason to act like a child because you dont want to be there. If you dont like you job quit John Smith. But other than being a completely empty store, the chocolate milk and ice cream are always great to enjoy. But their products do not reflect the terrible service I received from this apparent manager. 3 out of 10 will not be going back to this particular store again.

The ice cream is great but recently spent 40 min in the drive through; there were about 6-7 cars in front of us and it took almost an hour to order and receive two milkshakes…

So i love oberweis shakes so much after I saw a menu for woodgrain and that burger joint at wheaton we went for lunch it was great pizza and burger fries shake i highly recommend for the whole family the kids will love it

Oberweis was as good as always! I loved their new Lemon and Blackberry Ice Cream thats available for the summer. I wish it was available all year round! The only thing I didnt like was that the ice cream was way too soft and melted quickly.

Will never visit this location again. Asked 3 times to confirm the order via drive thru and messed all three items up. Staff is not using gloves while handling food. Acted as if it was bothering them to give us what we paid for. Glen Ellyn location is trash.

Most of the time there is only one cashier working at the counter. If there is more than two people in line, youre going to be waiting a long time to place your order, because none of the other staff on duty will actively pay attention to the fact that a line is forming and take action to open another register temporarily to relieve the long line. Also, the front counter at this location is completed covered in clutter, so much so, that for the cashier to put your item in a bag, they have to walk to the end of the counter and hand your item to you in a bag around the end of the counter, because there is no room anywhere else for them to hand your item directly to you. The entire front of the counter is blocked in a clutter of items.

I must say it was the best shake I ever had. Never had a bad experience at any Oberweis location. Sure you better be ready to open up your wallet or purse but the shakes are well worth the price! You wont be disappointed. 😁

So actually its a pretty good place to get ice cream. A member actually remembered my favorite ice cream flavor from last time. Thank you defiantly will go again.

Ordered a brownie sundae to go and when I got home it was covered in nuts which Im allergic to. The picture didnt have nuts nor did it mention nuts anywhere.. please ask before putting nuts on a sundae. I had to throw the $8 ice cream away.

Literally the BEST ice cream Ive ever had. Super rich and creamy and I can tell its made with the best ingredients. Favorite flavor is pistachio! Best to purchase three quarts and get the fourth one free. Great deal!

This is a tough rating. The burgers are always excellent, cooked nicely, and Ive never had an issue with the burger. My problems are with little things. Why are the fries so damn salty one day over other visits? Would it kill you to wipe down a table every once in a while? When an order goes in a bunch of people come out of nowhere and start cooking. Fine, but what were you doing 5 or 10 minutes ago? At just after 12pm there shouldnt be a dirty table in the building, especially with all of the people lolly-gagging around until an order us placed.Any ways, good burgers and meh everything else.

Obviously all of the ice cream and dairy creations are great. But the best part of this place are the chess games built into the tables, and the freezers with tons of ice cream pints/bars/cakes that are just as good as the fresh stuff.Like any other place like this the wait is expected.

Just picked up a pumpkin sundae from this location. The employees seemed stressed out and like they were understaffed. Drive thru wait was insane. Which didnt bother me Im a pretty patient person. What did bother me was the sundae I recieved which was a scoop and half of ice cream plopped into a waffle cone already half melted. And no whip cream no candied nuts. Unless I am mistaken but the location by my house serves them that way. It just sucked paying almost 8 dollars for not even two scoops of half melted pumpkin ice cream. Love oberweis but will never go to this location again.

What I love about this location is that there are three restaurants in the same building. You can have quality burgers, or wood-fired pizza, and ice cream for dessert.

We drive over 600 miles to eat their great ice cream, especially their extra thick malts... while were there we visit our daughter.

Drive through window was super slow. Chocolate malt was over seven dollars. My order was messed up. I have no idea what peanut butter monstrosity they served me. I can get better service with better food at a better price at most other locations with the same products.

First time stopping here because was a recommended must stop during my trip and I am so happy I did! All delicious.

We went here coming from dinner thinking of having dessert. The cashier was pleasant, place was clean. We ordered two coffee, one banana Royale and 2 scoops of ice cream.We are just a happy crowd so maybe we were laughing a little louder and the place was packed. We even left a $5 tip on a $23 total. Our cashier was pleasant as I stated.As our friend started eating her banana Royale notice that had no banana so we just asked for extra whipped cream and pecans. As she had a few spoons of it already, we found hair on strawberries mixed with the ice cream. We called our charming cashier and she was more than willing to give us credit for it or replace it.We opted to just let it go. I feel bad for the cashier and the trouble she will have to go through. The two stars was mainly just because of her. We literally lost our Appétite and just started chatting. We will not let this bad experience at this place ruined our nice evening celebrating my friends birthday.
