Just found this mechanic and he’s absolutely amazing! I wish I had found him sooner to work on my Jetta! I took it in for the AC to be fixed and he went above and beyond! He replaced my hubcap that was missing & my front bumper that was out of align. When I went to pick up my car I was amazed that my AC blew cold air immediately & how good my car looked!! He did all this in one day and I cannot be more happy or pleased! Thank you so much - you will definitely be the first on my recommendation list for now on!

We are having a road trip to Williamsburg when our check engine light came on, found these guys online and gave them a quick call, talked to Charles the owner who was super nice and helpful. When we got there he hooked the computer up and let us know what was wrong, turned out to be a sensor and we were assured we would be ok to keep driving. He really put us at ease, bonus was the great price of $40 ! That’s cheap compared to D.C prices, totally worth the peace of mind. I would recommend Charles to anyone, I wish we lived closer so he could be our normal mechanic.

These guys came highly recommended. I called them up to discuss the problem and options facing me with a 2004 Volkswagen GTI, and had a thoroughly informative conversation with Charles. Extremely helpful, forthcoming, and knowledgeable, he actually advised me to take the car elsewhere because of a particular specialized task that would need to be performed.I always give solid stock to a business that tells me to go elsewhere in my best interests. And though I didnt actually get any work done there, I would in a heartbeat, and may still. At least for customer service, I highly recommend these guys, and if I were a betting man, Id bet they are a fantastic shop. For what its worth...

Charlie and Guy run the best VW shop in the Richmond area, honest shop and they always go above and beyond to service our 2006 VW Passat. The latest service was replacing the serpentine belt, and brake job, oil change. I qill go nowhere else.

Charles went above and beyond when fixing my VW Beetle! My 2000 VW Beetle had a timing belt that was loose. Well, thats bad! It caused my valves to get bent, which causes the car to not start. This also is a very expensive thing to fix. Well, Charles fixed it for way less than the price that everyone else was quoting! He even fixed several other things he found wrong. He called me during the whole process and kept me up to date, telling me what he had found and how much extra it would be to fix additional problems. I found him very knowledgeable and honest, something that is hard to find nowadays! My inspection was overdue too. Charles does not do inspections, but he took the time to drive it somewhere and get it inspected for me! That alone saved me a whole day of my time! I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND CHARLES at VW MOTORS! My little Beetle is running smoothly and I am so happy!

We have bought several VWs for teenagers first cars. Charles has always done the work on them. He is fair, very economically priced, and trustworthy. I would never take my VW anywhere else. Unless he tells me to, and he has.

Theyre small. Theyre kinda old skool. They know their VWs inside and out, from air cooleds thru MK5s. If you need an odd ball part (these are VWs were talking about) they probably can pull one from their collection of parts cars.Charles is good like that.

This place has always treated us fairly. They do great work at a fair price. We talk all 3 of our volkswagens there. We have 3 TDIs one passat, one beetle, and one jetta.
