After comparing pricing to other online camaros he did indeed give us a very good deal. Do your homework on the vehicles you inquire about and ask questions. We contacted Alex at Gillie Hyde who immediately put us in touch with Charmaine. We explained to Charmaine what we were looking for and she quickly found exactly what we wanted and she spoke directly with our bank to be sure all paperwork was in order. When we went to test drive (and purchase!!!) the car, Charmaine took the time to explain all the bells and whistles and even helped me sync everything to my phone! It was like dealing with family. Everyone was so nice and helpful that I cant imagine going anywhere else to purchase a vehicle!!!

To begin with the deal I purchased the vehicle in April 2019 my car was a 2018. This was my first car purchasing decision so therefor I didn’t exactly know how it worked and I thought I was getting a great deal. I got taken advantage of and sold an extended warranty when my vehicle was still under warranty by the manufacturer. Which was never even explained to me that it was in the final cost. Now this month I found a vehicle I love and I decided to trade in mine. Come to find out that my odometer reading had an error with my title work so they couldn’t take the vehicle on trade. I went in to Gillie Hyde to speak with the finance person Lynn about the error and what to do to fix it. Lynn told me to call Barren Co court house that they couldn’t fix it. I called Barren Co court house and they said Gillie Hyde would have to since they’re the jones who purchased the vehicle. Since they were acting like they didn’t know how to fix this error, even though they told me time after time they have this error all the time and it was no big deal, So I did research and figured out the steps they needed to take and reached out to them. They said the process would take 48 hours. So then I ask for documentation that it was all fixed now and they ignored me and tried to push me off then proceeded to message me saying they weren’t gonna help me purchase a vehicle from somewhere else. I have experience in the car business as well as titling. The car salesman goes beyond to belittling me saying I get upset to easy, I’m impatient, and I couldn’t handle as much of a work load as they have. This was a huge problem to me when I spent 22k on a vehicle and no one can take it in on trade because of their mistake. He had no idea about my work load. Gillie Hyde just can’t take responsibility for what they do wrong and only treat customers good when there is something in it for them.
Way better experience than the last car buying experience we had! Strven is very energetic and funny. We found a brand new Ford Fiesta and it may be awhile before we need to come back but we would use him again for our next purchase. No hassle. Very understanding and professional.

I bought a new truck in 2016 f150 the salesman lied to me. They were supposed to put a trailer hitch on the truck for me at their expense and a chrome grill on it. It came out with a black one on it. They ordered me a grill for the truck. When it came in they called me to bring the truck but to put it in. I had my wife to take it to them because I had to work. When she got there they opened the door and put it in the back seat they said they didnt do that kind of work. They promised me a trailer hitch it went on for about 6 months they never did have one put on I had to go have one put on and pay for it out of my own pocket. They are a bunch of liars Ill never buy anything else from them. I tell everyone that ask me where I bought my truck what they done to me about the promises and the lies. I tell them to go to Green wood Ford or buy a Chevrolet if they want a new truck.
I went with a friend to look at a used vehicle, and while the vehicle wound up not being what I was looking for, it was my experience with the dealers that merits this low rating. I believe we dealt with Chip, and he was pushy, obnoxious, and just rather rude. Not a good salesman. I dont just go to dealerships looking to buy anything there, I do my research and am very particular in finding what fits my needs. So when we expressed that we werent interested any longer it was very hard to leave. He kept trying to convince us to look at something else when I knew what else was on the lot having researched their website and wasnt interested. As we were walking away he caught the manager (Wes I think) who came up and asked us what the problem was. We told him we came to look at a particular vehicle and werent interested anymore and he simply kept badgering us to look around, and to go to another Gillie Hyde lot with more vehicles like what we were looking at (used, lower budget). My friend adamantly continued to express that we were done, we were done, and the manger just goes alright youre done and storms off into the building, as if we hadnt been telling him that for ten minutes. The MANAGER acted like that!!Im sorry this is so long but I just dont want anyone else to walk into this place and be as disappointed with the customer service as I was! An absolutely atrocious experience.

Sometimes you need an OEM Ford part. I usually look up the Ford part number and walk in with the part number. Every time, they said it will have to be ordered and would take 4 or 5 days. One time they said it was no longer available, and I walked to my car and immediately called 2 other Ford dealerships in a 50 mile radius and both confirmed that the part was still available AND THEY HAD IT IN STOCK. Obviously, Im no longer going tonl waste my time checking with them in thebl future.

Zero stars! AVOID Heather Flatt !! Do not take calls from this location seriously! They’ll just screw you over. This old guy gets these young pretty girls to contact you and tell you she wants to buy the car and then he walks into the office and offers you less than nothing. Sleazy sales stuff.Heather Flatt CONTACTED ME to buy my car. The dealership is 1 hour 30 mins from my house. She assured me they were serious and to arrange someone to drive with a second car to take me home. She gave me the wrong address and sent me an hour in the wrong direction. After driving 2.5 hours we arrived at the dealership.They looked over the car, took it for a drive and came back to tell me that the car runs great! They said the engine, transmission everything runs perfect and then they offered me less than what I owe the bank, $4,000 under asking. Their excuse was that the car needs new tires and possibly a sensor. Less than $1,000, very minor issues.They were clearly not serious at all and were hoping that I was desperate to get rid of the car. They made myself and my husband waste our entire day and 2 tanks of gas. They knew before I got there that they were going to offer me less than asking price. They should have been honest and up front about it. They don’t care about wasting your time, assume that they plan to. AVOID THIS LOCATION, Do not waste your time and don’t be fooled by all these fake reviews they’ve posted to yelp.

We was sold a car and within 48 hours the car blew up. Im not saying all the people there are bad because they are not but I know they knew about the issues and did not inform us and when I called them all they say is o well you baught it as is. I understand that used cars have or could have issues but to have it blow up within 48 hours and only drove it around town is ridiculous. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone looks like once they get your money your nothing to them.

I cancelled my Zurich plan. Gillie Hyde was to repay me $125. Been fighting for 6 months to get my money. Spoke with the head financial officer several times. Signed paperwork twice, nothing. Gillie (got my) Hyde. Also coworker used my name as a refural, which is suppose to pay $100. Thats been 3 wks. Never seen that money either. Surprise!!
Cancelled my order after delaying 11 days fulfill it. Order parts on December 9th and then received notification on the 20th that they cancelled the order. Bad business practice right there. Hopefully a one time mistake on their part but very disappointing to say the least.

Terrible Customer Service at this dealership. I live in Nashville but had been communicating with one of the sales people there for about a week in regards to a certain vehicle.I am very particular about my cars and knew exactly what I wanted. I scheduled an appointment on a Wednesday morning for the upcoming Saturday at 10am. I spoke to the sales person the day before my appointment to confirm with them that they accepted cash as a down payment- they advised that would not be a problem and they looked forward to seeing me the following morning.The sales person wrote an email that stated: I’ll have the Altima pulled up for you to see. I look forward to working with you on your upcoming purchase! Please let me know if you have any questions before Saturday. See you soon!I rented a car and drove almost 2 hours (each way) to get the car I had been communicating with them about.Upon my arrival, the car was not anywhere to be found, the sales person I had an appointment with was not even there. There were several sales people trying to locate the vehicle and after about 5 mins of looking- a very untrustworthy sales person told me the vehicle had been sold last night after hours.....He seemed to be making everything up on the fly with excuse after excuse .They were not very apologetic and did not seem to care at all that I had made the long trip for a vehicle they sold without even telling me. They made up lies about why they didnt contact me about the car being sold and tried to get me to look at something else.I explained I did not drive 100 miles to look at another vehicle, I already had the one I wanted picked out- with the cash in my pocket to purchase.I would NOT make a purchase from this dealer under any circumstances and was extremely disappointed with how I was treated.Poor customer service!

I drove 1hr45min to this dealership after finding a car on their website. I reviewed everything on the phone with Josh Adwell and he assured me the car was in perfect condition. The photos on their website were also touched up to make the car appear in perfect condition. When I arrived to make the purchase, I discovered the car had extensive damage including: hail damage, several gashes in the body that were badly covered with mismatched paint, dents, a destroyed hubcap and a broken front grill. I am livid with the lies and dishonesty and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I cant believe Josh lied about the condition of the car hoping I would give in and buy it just because I drove a long way. They have no respect for their customers and will clearly tell any lie necessary to make a sale. Josh is the definition of a sleazy car salesman and I recommend going somewhere where the employees have integrity.

I got a Chrysler 200s 2015 and lowest miles.. I paid $3000 down payment and plus $3000 for extended warranty and I have good credit.. i took car yesterday to my home and I woke up early morning the gas I put was gone and I started the engine the drove the break started jumping. and the engine sound inside was very loud. I called them told them that i need to return the car, but the guy... Greg Weir told me to come and I can change the car, then I drove up to Glasgow for 45 minutes plus, when I arrived grey weir left in front of me and ran ways.. then they didnt even welcome me to sit before 25 minutes.. Then there a guy name Kurt Otto.. was siting in his place instead. the two guys who sold me cars.. one came of and I explained the issues, but he didnt give me any options and told me there is noting we can do.. I told him man look . i took the car yesterday.. I found out the problem and then reported it.. he told me you own the car now. if you change the car you have to pay more. ... I told him in this way I need to call my bank who loan me credit to cancel it. I dont care about $3000 down payment, but I dont trust these people and if I called the bank the bank will cancel it right away because I used to have loan with these bank before. Then he went to the Kurt otto.. he came out with anger told me bully.. that you bought a car, you did not buy a stuff from wal mart and return it... I told him the problems, but he started seem very angry.. I pretend like I forget the Greg Weir name..Dont buy unless you are exhausted to find any dealer.. please test drive before you bought..I am seeking the lawyers.. now. I will the bank and cancel the loan.These people must not lie to customers.. they must not be there.

They sold us a piece of junk then lied about rectifying the situation. Dont trust these people. They sell junk at high prices.Bought a truck. Within a week we discovered a cam shaft sensor unplugged. Plugged it in and it was idling all over the place. Ford mechanic estimated a $3000 fix because if we keep driving it the motor could blow. These people claim to do a 28 point inspection but they somehow missed an unplugged cam shafts sensor? Seems suspicious. Talked to a sales manager who said they would find us a truck and trade in for the amount we gave. Found a truck listed at 12,986 online. We got there and suddenly the price of the truck is over 14,000. When we showed them the price online they changed their offer to what it shows but was now giving us $1500 less for the truck. Then they started claiming they never agreed to pay full price for the truck. These people are crooks.

Let me start by saying I hate Google reviews. I feel like a lot of times people are one sided but I had to share this to hopefully prevent someone else some problems. A few months ago, my wife and I decided to buy a truck. I found one on the website and decided to go visit their Thompkinsville location. Everything went pretty smooth while we were shopping. We ended up with the vehicle. THE VERY NEXT DAY, I was driving it and the service engine light came on. I noticed that the clock was not correct so I instantly got nervous that they had reset the light by unplugging the battery. So, I reset the light that night. The next day, I drove it again and the light came on within 80 miles. I first called the salesman to ask him. Of course he denied resetting it and claimed he drove it home several times and never saw the light on. Convenient. I decided then to take it to my local mechanic and have him read the codes. 4 codes came up. I could understand one, but 4 codes dont just pop up magically after a sale. My next step was to email the general manager. The salesman didnt care about me then, maybe he would. That was three months ago and I am still waiting for a response from the general manager, Wes Gentry. On top of all of this, the truck also has a small rear main seal leak. I checked under the truck for oil spots and it seemed pretty clean at the dealership. I feel that I am reasonable. I didnt ask them to fix all of the problems but acknowledgment and a little help fixing the issues would have been appreciated and the right thing to do. Bottom line, I probably could have done more to prevent this but it still doesnt change the fact that they sold a vehicle that was not fit to be sold. The salesman lied about it and the general manager doesnt care. I will never recommend them to any friend nor will I ever consider them for a new or used unit again.

I purchased a 2008 ford f150 FX4 from Gillie Hyde auto total deal came up to 28.000+, I drove the truck off the lot just to run out of gas before I even came to a gas station. On the trip from Glasgow to Bowling Green Ky the check engine light came on so I took the truck to the nearest dealership to have the light checked out. The shop manager informed me that the problem would be covered under the extended drive train warrenty I had purchased. But, I was to look forward to issues because there are brackets under the hood that had already rusted in two. I was also told that when it needed spark plugs (probably now) due to the nature of the problem with the 5.4 engine I would be out more than 1500 for a spark plug replacement. After hearing that I began digging deep into the truck and found that the steering knuckle was unsafe, there was brand new rhino liner around the lower panels of the truck and there was already rust coming through it. The seat belt posts inside the vehicle were rusted as well. The spare tire is so rusted that it is unsafe to use. The deal was done on a Thursday and it came a snow that evening. That is why I took it to a real dealership instead of back to Gillie Hyde. The following Monday I took a trip to Gillie Hyde. I will quote what the sales manager had the salesman tell me. Bear in mind, this is only 3 days later. You looked at it, You drove it, You bought it, Its Yours. It made me so mad that I tried to call the owner and set up an appointment. It is a year later and he still hasnt returned my call. So if you buy a car there, which I wouldnt, make sure that everything is as they say. Have it checked out extensively at their cost. Because once you drive it off the lot, its yours and you are dirt on the sole of their shoe. Again YOU LOOKED AT IT, YOU DROVE IT, YOU BOUGHT IT, ITS YOURS Thanks for the lemon Gillie Hyde. The least you could have done was been a little more professional about screwing your customers.

I searched for weeks and found the JEEP I wanted...it was going to cost me some gas to get there but I felt it was worth it. The vehicle I purchased was in excellent visual shape which is a plus for me and had the mileage that I was looking for. The car fax was clean and the test drive went smoothly. After driving my new car to nashville I looked up the service history on this vehicle. It hasnt had the proper scheduled maintenance work done to it before they sold it... I will have to have the transmission fluid drained/replaced. Thats not the end of the world for me as I didnt expect them to have driven it long enough to notice the transmission whine that is synonymous with the CVT transmission when the fluid is bad. They also didnt mention that I would need another key until I was ready to finalize the sale. So after my salesman promised me hed get me a key I signed the loan and off I went. They made me believe that I would be getting a key at no charge and so I asked no questions. I was correct, sort of. I went back the next day to get the key and they cut it for me to match. Then I had an awkward conversation with the service rep. about the charges. They wanted to tack on $80 to program it. Why would I drive 40 miles to a dealership to get what I thought was a new key, and then pay to have it made to work... thats not right, but they didnt care nor did my salesman tell me up front. The service tech as well as the salesman looked at me like I was the crazy one. I paid for my new somewhat useless key and left. I will most likely be taking my business to Martin which is closer to me anyway. Theyve already quoted me at $40 to program which isnt free, but they also didnt know my backstory which makes them; without showing me pity, a more affordable place to have my work done. I most likely wont let Gillie Hyde have anymore of my money.
