Overpriced and much smaller store than youd think because the name World of Rugs implies a world (so Im thinking warehouse sized store), but no-about as big as Subway sandwich place. That said, lots of salespeople pressure you & follow you around when you just want to look on your own. No good deals to be had. Go anywhere else. Pictures and pricing are below.

Great experience! My husband and I recently bought our first home in Chandler and quickly realized we needed rugs in a house with mostly tile. We are also musicians and have heard that wool rugs do well to absorb sound. We purchased a cheap wool rug from another store and went to World of Rugs for a rug pad. We met Saboora who was very friendly and nice to work with while getting our rug pad. While we were there we saw that they were running a buy 1 get 2 free sale! We went back a couple weeks later to take advantage of this unbelievable deal. We probably spent about an hour looking through different rugs and their sizes. They do not have a HUGE selection but we were very happy with what was available. They let us take 3 rugs home to try out before purchasing which was very nice to see how the colors look different in different lighting. We ended up purchasing two 5x8s and one custom sized wool runner yes for the price of just ONE RUG! One rug was available day of purchase so we took that home right away. The other two arrived during the expected time frame (a couple weeks out) and we went back to the store to pick those up. Every interaction with staff was great. Saboora was incredibly helpful. Thank you for making our first rug shopping experience so easy.

We got a great deal here. Buy one got two free! The ones we ordered came in the promised two weeks and we didnt like them when we got them home. No problem! They let us exchange them for ones we wanted. Lots of choices at reasonable prices. Luis was very helpful and a nice young man to work with. We are reccomending this place to all our friends.

Great sale, and excellent customer service! Buy 1 get 2 free, cant beat that. Jason and Canyon were easy to work with and loaded the car for us. Were very happy!

Has a wide selection of area rugs ranging from traditional to modern . They also have many sizes available. I found a rug that fit my needs at a good price. Jason the salesperson was very patient and helpful. They have a two day return policy that lets you see the rugs in your home which is helpful if you are uncertain of how it will look in your house.

Way over priced and soon to be out of business.

Purchased a $5000 rug at a discount. Was told it would be 5-7 days for the rug to come in. After 2 weeks I had to call to check the status of the order. Was told he would check the status and call me back in 30 mine. 3.5 hours later I had to call him back. He said the rug should arrive the next day or Saturday at the latest. Never heard anything and had to call back the next week. He said it should be there no later than Wednesday. I was leaving town early Thursday morning so called Wednesday afternoon only to find out it was still not in. Of course, the rug came in when I was out of town. Went I went in to pick up the rug, I expressed my disappointment in the level of service I received. The guy got into a huge argument with me and had the nerve to tell me that I miscommunicated with him. No apologies & was told that I, THE CUSTOMER, was being rude. I will NEVER buy from this retailer again. Terrible service and rude employee. I requested the manager or owner give me a call. We will see if I get that phone call. Not holding my breath

AFW has better value store needs better merchandising clean the floor. Some POP. Was boring. Remember the place that just sells coffee its only coffee.

Heather was very helpful. Got the rug home and sides are not straight. It’s too pricey for the crooked sides. Orig $700. Sale $350 for a 5 by 8 is too high with defects. I called and I can return it but I would keep it for a reduced price. She didn’t offer that. Taking back Wednesday .Disappointed as I love the color. Regarding managements response that employees are not authorized to apply discounts, good customer service involves giving management authority.

Awesome sales associates at this Gilbert store. They know what they are doing and go out of their way to help!

They did not have a good selection. The 2 young kids working kept telling us to go to the website and shop online rather than going through or helping us narrow down our selections in person.

Great selection. All the carpets are hanging up and easy to browse thru all of them. Mo was very knowledgeable and we got a great deal. Very happy.

I was in the Gilbert store today looking for a round rug. The round rugs are in several stacks on the floor. The stacks make it impossible to see the rugs underneath. The sales woman said they were too heavy to lift. I wanted to see one that was third from the top. She just pulled the first two back a little. I agree that the rugs are heavy but didnt appreciate being made to feel that I was imposing on the sales person. I left.

Sales people didnt want to take the hanging rugs down. Not buying to hang on a wall... need to see in light on the floor.
