My all time favorite place to come for dresses! I got my wedding dress from here, my temple dress, and a bunch of other church or bridesmaid dresses. Anytime I need a dress for an occasion I come here because they have stuff that looks amazing as a bridesmaid dress but can also double as a church dress!! Not to mention how amazing the customer service is, every girl is so nice and sweet! Literally every dress I have from there makes me feel so beautiful!Im in the green dress in the second picture.

I have bought 6 casual and semi-formal dresses from A Dressy Occasion and they are my favorite dresses in my closet!! I cannot get enough of them and I get excited to wear them every chance I get. They fit so nice, are very comfortably, and EXTREMELY fashionable! I get so many compliments every time I wear one of those dresses.Also, the girls at the store are always so helpful and kind. They helped me find the dresses that fit me best and give great opinions.I am also a wedding photographer and so many of my brides get their dresses from A Dressy Occasion--let me say, I am always adjusting, fluffing, or laying out the dresses and I can always tell a difference in the quality of dress when it is from A Dressy Occasion. Theres just something about their wedding gowns that is the most flattering and helps the bride glow on their wedding day!I will always recommend A Dressy Occasion to anyone looking for any kind of dress--casual, semi-formal, formal, or wedding--because they have the prettiest styles around!!!

I came here as one of my wedding dress trying on places. They were helpful, courteous, kind, and very accommodating. Although I ultimately chose a dress from another store, I would recommend here for any bride seeking a modest wedding dress while also wanting to receive wonderful service!

I ordered a dress from this company. It arrived with a hole in it. When I contacted them to exchange it I was harassed on the phone. The employee didn’t believe the dress arrived with a hole because they “personally inspect all items before shipping” regardless it arrived with a hole in it. After further conversation she agreed to exchange my defective dress. I returned the defective dress and waited two weeks for the new one just to have to call again and be told that it had shipped and It was my problem it didn’t arrive. She then put me on hold and came back and said it didn’t ship after all. After another week I got the dress and it was the wrong size. Completely disappointing and frustrating. Maybe they are better in person but I wouldn’t trust them online.

This is my favorite dress store ever. I shop here every other month in the casual section. Their dresses are beautiful and fit well. Sometimes they have good sales too. I dont understand why people are leaving one star reviews.

I found THE dress here! If you are looking for a modest bridal gown that wont break the bank, you simply must check this place out! The ladies were very sweet and helpful, and the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. Both the store and gowns are clean and neatly kept. I found an elegant, tastefully embellished gown for less than $1000 and the crinoline and veil were discounted because of the gown purchase. The staff were so kind and down- to- earth. I highly recommend A Dressy Occasion.

Finally... a place for formal dresses that are modest. They also have beautiful wedding gowns. I just wish they had a bigger selection of prom dresses, but we did find one that was beautiful.Update. I came back here to get my song dress. The girls are very helpful!

Dressy occasion is THE best location to find a dress with amazing detail and more modest. Modest dresses are extremely difficult to find now a days, the girls there were extremely helpful, you weren’t uncomfortable either. You felt taken care of and cared about. Not to mention I absolutely love my dress and wish I could wear it forever!

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY ARE NEITHER COMPETENT NOR ARE THEY CUSTOMER FOCUSED.We recently ordered a dress from this establishment which my wife needed about 3 weeks from the date of purchase. It arrived no problem, but the dress didnt fit. So we sent it back promptly and had to receive a store credit. But they didnt have the different size that my wife needed in that dress. Further, none of the other dresses that my wife liked were available in her size. Given that, we asked for a refund, but they refused. They will not provide a refund under any circumstances. So my wife reluctantly ordered a different style she wasnt entirely happy with, so as to use the store credit. We had to return the dress that we first received, which we promptly did, before they would agree to send the new dress. Once they received the first dress they called my wife and informed her that the new dress was shipped. Six days later they called again telling us that the dress still hadnt shipped which was quite disappointing, frustrating and confusing. They said it was our responsibility to have called to reorder the new dress (which we believed we had done)! By this time, the date had nearly passed for which my wife needed the dress. At this point we asked for a refund or some recompense for their screw up. We spoke to Donna, the owner, who refused to give us a refund or make it right... No discount, no refund, no apology..no customer service. She essentially blamed us for the mishap. She said we had not ordered the new dress nor paid for shipping... completely dismissing what her employee had told us about the dress having already been shipped. We ended up having to pay to get the dress, as we had no other recourse. They are incompetent and definitely not focused on customer sat. Ill never order anything from them again, and recommend you dont either.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at A Dressy Occasion, both times.I made my first appointment about a month ahead of time and was the only client there, so my mom and I had the full attention of both stylists, which was awesome. They were patient and helpful as they zipped and unzipped, tied and untied different dresses, and as I tried all sorts of veils. They stressed that their focus is on bridal appointments and were so happy to be attentive and helpful for me. They were also very kind and helpful to walk-in clients, as far as I observed.At this first appointment, I tried 10+ dresses and wanted to try one of them in another color, so they had it ordered from their Califonria store for $25. I came back the next week to try it on, scheduling my second appointment just the day before.While the dress they ordered in didnt end up being right for me, they would have recommended me to their favorite seamstress to make any adjustments I may have wanted. Apparently, she can add sleeves to any dress, adjust necklines, widen arm holes, alter length, and add a sash/jeweled belt. She works with their designer, Elizabeth Cooper Designs, with great regularity and great success.I found my dress soon after trying on the CA order dress, and I am so happy with it. They do this special thing when you get decide on your wedding dress -- I wont tell you what it is...youll have to go and find out!Thank you Haley, Ella, and M (Im sorry Ive forgotten your name!!) for such a peaceful, positive, stress-free environment. Thank you for your excitement for me, and for your joy. I cant wait to get married in my beautiful dress!

I had such a pleasant experience here. The shop was so darling and maintained. It was clean, and the employees were so friendly and willing to help. Beautiful modest dresses, makes shopping for work such a breeze! Definitely would recommend!

This shop reminds me of shopping at Ross, the discount store. It’s not organized at all! I wouldn’t recommend it if you have any idea what you want. I made an appointment asking for a black wedding dress. I know that my options would be very limited, but they said they had dresses that could be ordered in black. So I made the appointment. When I got there she didn’t even know if it was possible to get that color. She had to call the owner and she barely knew. The owner had no idea which dresses could be ordered in black! All she knew is that some designers might take a request, but the store wasn’t organized my designers. It wasn’t organized by style or size. It wasn’t organized at all! Everything was just mashed together. Also, the owner doesn’t listen. I told her what I wanted and didn’t want and didn’t want. Then she had me go to the website to look at dresses and it had exactly what I said I didn’t want. The owner and the employee doesn’t know their business, their merchandise, or their designers. This store will be a waste of your time and money.

So, I would never do this. I never come on websites like this because people just come to complain mostly. But this needed attention. This store had the WORST customer service of any bridal shop I have ever been too. I went from shop to shop looking for dresses for my 4 bridesmaids. We set an appointment for this shop and we were barley even greeted when we walked in. There was no parking there. We found dresses we liked but couldnt try them on because this shop had 2 dressing rooms. When we asked for help from an employee and they told us they were busy and basically ignored us. Also! I feel it should be noted that they sell temple dresses at this store but because they cant manage the amount of customers they get in a day the temple dresses were mingled with prom dresses and mixed on the same racks. They mistreat their customers and inventory. Never buy a dress here!!!

Didn’t have a large selection of larger casual dresses (I wear a size 10). Most only went up to a size 8-ish. Super bummed because the dresses all looked so pretty. Good place if your a size small (size 2/4).

I went here on accident (I booked an appt somewhere else thinking I was making it here!) But the girl working was really nice and helped me even though I didnt have an appointment. They had a lot of pretty dresses, everything is very modest.

Beautiful dresses, friendly staff. You dont notice it until you are inside, but there are A LOT of dresses in this store. Modest wedding gowns, brides maid, formals, and Temple clothing for LDS church members. Theres something for everyone - from their first high school dance, to a grandmother attending their grand kids wedding. Definitely recommended.

I have no idea how this place is even still in business!!! The customer service is an absolute nightmare!! Avoid this business if you want to keep your sanity! The lady insulted both of my daughters, their intelligence and their size (they are both plus size). We are now screwed out of our money for 2 dresses.

I ordered a dress from them that came defective! They aren’t willing to give me a full refund for a freaking defective item! This business is a joke. STAY AWAY! Heaven forbid you get something that has something wrong with it because they aren’t willing to give you a refund on items that have defects.

Even though we had an initial issue, they worked with us to rectify it and we are happy with the outcome.

So I called to make an appoointment to look at veils since I already bought a dress from a different store. and I had told them that on the phone but when I got there they said that they wouldnt allow me to put on my own dress to try veils on. There was no one else in the store and my mom had to help me try on the veils because there was 0 costomer service.

The employees acted like we werent even there, we never received any help and we made an appointment. Will never return.
