Asked for double toasted. I was lucky if it was even toasted once. It was chewy and couldnt eat it. Very disappointed. Also ordered 6 to go and they were hard before we got home. Not a great experience and pricy. Will not go back.

I Personally love Einstein bagels but I will say it depends on the time of day for this location, and sometimes the staff. Don’t get me wrong the bagels are always fresh and delicious, but if you come late morning to noon they are often out of several flavors. And I’ve also noticed some staff are not trained on everything, and I often get bagels cut uneven. But they may not always look pretty, they do always taste fresh and soft.

I just wish they would cut the bagel sandwiches in half still, and have consistency with toasting levels. I ordered double toasted it is still pretty soft.

We frequent this location weekly. We go every Saturday mornings and have been for the last 5 years we order used to order the white chocolate mocha but they discontinued it we switched to the iced chai tea and it’s been our favorite drink. However, the last 4 visits it tastes HORRIBLE it has a coconut taste and just taste awful they told is nothing has changed they use the same mix but something has definitely changed whether it’s expired or they added something to the mix to make it last longer it is disgusting. we are so disappointed. We are now going back to Starbucks on Saturdays. Never have had a bad chai or coffee ever. Beware of the chai at this location something is definitely wrong with it.

My go to sandwich from Einstein Bros. Bagels is the All-nighter on a green chili bagel. I also tried out one of the cold brew shakes, and they are truly delicious:) I still needed a bit more caffeine afterwards, but next time I know to add extra, lol.It was very busy when my brother and I went, but our food was out very promptly! Im satisfied, and will definitely be returning for another All-nighter from Einstein Bros. Bagels.

I dont care what part of town youre in in their hard to find and low in communities. But still by far one of the best places to have a bagel and add bacon. Sometimes its just hard but you have to drive out your way to get what you want🤣. I know theyre not a mom and pop store but a good bagel with cream cheese is hard to come by. So support your local Einstein bagels.

Those damn garden vegetable breakfast bagels are SO DAMN GOOD! Will try to take pics next time, its just it goes in to the bag and then right into my belly! Very good and fast service.

We go to Einsteins in Gilbert, Az. It is on Val Vista near Guadalupe. The service and products are great. We were disappointed to find out that they will not have pumpkin bagels for the second year in a row. It is my wifes favorite. Otherwise a great place.

Staff was very nice, clean store and I appreciate you having better ingredients than other places (Im specific talking about the additives in your coffee flavorings.)

Food was great but they need to have a designated spot for curbside pickup and a way to notify them on the app when you arrive to pick up the order. I had to call them when I got there. Brunch box was delicious and their orange juice was beyond amazing! Will definitely be back

Every time I come here I get sick. They clearly need to be using better food safety measures. I thought it was just something else I ate each time but now I realize it always coincides with me going to this location. Go to a different Einstein’s. They don’t care about their customers. They also often mess up my order. They aren’t very nice either. I talked to the manager once about my order getting messed up and they didn’t seem to care at all. I hope the Health Department finally comes and gives them an F.

I came by earlier today and the employees made my day! :) There was this female employee that covered for my avocado toast bagel which I am very thankful for and a male employee who wrote a nice message and some cute drawings that brightened my day! I wanted to say thank you so much to the two of them and I’m so glad I was able to receive their customer service.

I gave it one star in consideration of the ONE friendly woman working the cashier. However; the two younger girls working were too busy having a conversation with each and other messing around to help customers.I ordered a bagel topper and my cucumbers are covered in mold. Honestly, Ill never go back. You can see it as soon as I opened the box. This was for myself and my daughter. Why would you serve this or cut it???

The food is always good. But this is the dirtiest Einstein Ive ever been in. The floors were wet with spills, in the corners it was weeks worth of grime. E very table and chair was covered in crumbs and yuck. Its July and we ate outside bc it was so dirty. Dead bugs on the counters as well.

Got 3 of the 6 cheese bagels. All 3 were raw inside. Never going back.

We went here specifically because they listed 9 VEGAN bagels & 3 VEGAN spreads on the website. None were available.

Above and beyond expectations! The shop itself is very clean with very friendly staff. At the register a customer was having difficulty with using a payment type and the staff was so patient and helpful to him despite the growing line. While we were enjoying our red, white and blue bagels on the porch I was very pleased to watch who I believe was the manager go out of his way to help a customer with a walker. He left whatever he was working on to help the customer out the door and even offered to help get him to and in his car. Very impressive of a business which is steadily busy. Amazing service and consideration will keep us coming back, regardless of the drive time.

We are visiting from Canada, and stopped in for lunch. We also picked up some bagels and cream cheese for the next morning. FANTASTIC bagels - I loved the smoked salmon bagel. Will definitely go back next time we visit. We really enjoyed the food - bagels are chewy and tasty as a bagel should be. AWESOME!!

The breakfast sandwich was fantastic. The place was crowded but clean and bright. My only complaint was the man at place order register who barely looked me in the eye and seemed very impatient that I didnt know what I wanted for my free birthday sandwich. Since I dont go here that often but did not know what my options were and that appear to be off-putting to him. The cashier on the other hand was very polite and even wished me a happy birthday. I might try the one down the street and see if the service is any better but the food itself was great!

My wife and I had a Farmhouse on 5 cheese and it was just delicious! But the iced Latte I got was just no good! Definitely will go here for the bagels but Ill leave the espresso to Starbucks and the like.

I am a big fan of Einstein bagels. I visit their stores regularly.At least once a week. Sometimes more. Many of their storesacross the valley - Mesa, Gilbert, San Tan, Glendale...The service at the Mesa store is consistently the absolute worst.The staff is always rude, grumpy, short, and to top it off inefficient.Today at 6:05 AM I was the only customer in the store. Everyonegreeted me, said hello, knew I was there, but then completelyignored me and my request for a dozen bagels.Instead they proceeded to help the person who came into thestore after me first.I also ordered a lox sandwich, and I dislike waste, but becausethey did not communicate with me, or each other, they had tomake the sandwich again because it was not toasted, andnot on the correct bagel.And to make matters worse, they blamed me for the mistakes.I absolutely hate this store, and will never go to it again. I willtravel an extra 5 miles to visit another store before ever goingto this location again.P.S. I only gave them one star because Google would notallow a review without at least one star. They deserveNONE!

While the food was fine & the manager was helpful, the staff was condescending & unfriendly & the store is set up in a completely inexplicable manner, with the order line at the far end of the store from the entrance, the pay line by the entrance, and food pick up in the middle. This is all inside the smallest Einsteins Bagels Ive ever seen, so youre skirting chairs and patrons crisscrossing the store multiple times. When I initially stood at the register (by the entrance) expecting to order and pay at the same time, an employee across the store called at me The sign says order here! while pointing at the sign. The condescending behaviour did not end there, but Ill spare you. Just not a very friendly experience, with the exception of the manager. Also, is the bagel slicer capable of slicing a bagel evenly or are they supposed to all look like Muppets?

I forget how much I love the breakfast sandwiches there as I seem to gravitate towards drive thrus. But I found myself wanting to actually sit and enjoy the patio since the weather was good. The egg is seasoned and the cheese taste like cheese and not plastic like other places.

Great quality food and drinks. They are always adjusting their menu and adding healthier choices or new items.

It was going great til I found a facial hair in my cream cheese that was on my bagel. I though it was just a little hair but the more I pulled the longer it got and grossed me out. I did bring it to their attention and they made me a new one but I had already been eatting my 1st one and was grossed out. Not sure what the men can do but this was way gross.

Fast, friendly service in a nice clean location. I stopped in and purchased a variety of bagels and shmears. They helped me select some of their more popular bagels and toppings that would go well with what I selected. I’ll return to this location again.

I had been frequenting a local bagelry the past few months, but found myself near Einsteins and dropped in for some bagels and schmear. I missed the softer chewy bagels they make. I tried the pumpkin bagel and it was like eating dessert! Tempted to go back before they stop making these.

This Einsteins is always fully stocked of all flavors of bagels. If we decided to sleep in, we will still be able to get chocolate chip bagels! Also, theyre very nice if you call in an order!

Really great breakfast and regular sandwiches. Wife had ham and cheese on spinach florintine bagel. I had ham egg and cheese on the same.

I understand today is a holiday (July 4th), but in the drive-thru I was asked twice to hold on..once after they got my phone number and once after they asked for my order (they stopped me before I could finish). 2 cars were ahead of me in line and I waited 10 minutes after giving my order and pulling up.

So typically get great service from this location however I was in this morning and waited on my 2 bagel sandwiches and a bagel with cream cheese. Jennifer who I can only assume gave my order to the wrong customer acted extremely rude while I waited for my food to be remade.

Dirty lobby, more empty bins for bagels than anything else-extraordinarily rude gal taking orders. The gentleman prepping food was helpful and kind and the food that was available was good. The cashier was very unorganized and confused on how to make coffee. Will be looking for another location.

This is easily hands down the best Einstein in the valley. They really value their coffee and theyre regulars. I have been to virtually all the other this one really stands out for speed, serious about service, great place.

Bennett coming to this store for a month or 2.Quality of food is on point.Issue is when they open first thing they 3-4 bagels in the bins or sometimes none are visible. Then you have to go thru the can you tell me what bagels you available conversation.Seems strange for a place that specializes in bagels and constantly seems to be unprepared to open for business.

My first time at an Einstein Bagels. Food was really good but customer service was poor. Ordered a sandwich, the girl repeated 3 times the wrong order, so I pointed to the sign and she said ok go pay over there and pointed. I go to pay and of course its the wrong order, the cashier told me I better go over and straighten out my order before they make the sandwich.. felt like I was in two different stores with the set up. The girl that remade my lunch was kind but the other two no way... really weird and uncomfortable experience.

Ordered 3 everything bagels and 1 farmhouse sandwich. Got home and I only recieved 1 everything and the sandwich. I was charged for the full price of my order. I called and talked to the manager who asked for my names and email and said he would make up for it. I waited 2 days and recieved no email so I called back and thus time I ended up speaking to the assistant manager who said she couldnt do anything for me. She said all she could do was get my name and email and give it to the manager next time she saw him. That was 3 days ago and I still havent recieved anything on my email. Its sad when all levels of management are lacking customer service skills like this. I will not be returning to this location, might not ever eat einstein again to be honest, Im sure I could find a place with better bagels and a much more caring staff

Good, but the chain is getting a bit proud of its product, I cant believe I paid $24 for a couple of bagels and a coffee.

This is very convenient for dogs. You can walk your dog at the riparian and then have breakfast here. They have outdoor seating and doggie bagels.

Favorite weekend spot for coffee. The Vanilla Hazelnut is amazing. And my son loves their pretzel bagel! Always quick when Im there on Saturday mornings too.

Bagels for daaaayyyysssss from this place. You can buy 12 for 13 (unless you do the premium Bagels for .60 more a piece) the bagels taste AMAZING have MANY different varieties and custom cream cheese blends to suit any palette.

If youve been to one Einstein Bagels, youve been to them all as far as the food is concerned. What sets this place apart from the others is the friendly staff. They remembered my name after only a few visits here and they are always chipper and greet people with a genuine enthusiasm, as if they are truly happy that youre stopping in. Great establishment.

This location is pretty low key and quiet. I have never seen more than 3 people inside while getting coffee.

What a joke. I took a risk going to this location after my boyfriend went and had issues. First off, my order took fairly long and Not only did I discover that the cookie I ordered wasnt in my bag when I got home, but my sandwich was screwed up. They didnt have anymore of that bagel so I asked them to just reuse the bagel... Instead of remaking it they scraped it off. And they offered nothing to make up for the inconvenience.

Best bagels and bagel sandwiches in Mesa, AZ. Clean establishment and personable staff. I highly recommend the facility on Val Vista south of Baseline Rd. In Gilbert.

Food was fast, hot, tasty. Unfortunately, the store layout is a bit wonky... The order here area is at the back, so when you walk in you are actually at the pay here area. A little backwards and not a lot of signage indicating how things work.

Every time weve gone they forget something, my hot chai has been served cold, my turkey sausage was cold, they forgot my egg on my sausage, egg & cheese bagel, we went at 1 oclock one day and they were already closing down so we couldnt have iced tea as an option since they threw it out... usually we really like Einstein but this location is not good.
