I walked in looking for a gun lock for transporting across state lines to Idaho. The gentleman that I was working with took me to a couple and told me the one I was looking at would be ok. The woman told me to wait that she had one for me. She gave it to me for free. I did 24 years in the Navy and have been out for 10 years now. Nobody has ever been that nice to me. Im truly grateful and applaud this store!!! You guys are awesome!!!

I came to this location last year and stock was low, today I popped back in and not only was stock back in but they had alot of firearms that are harder to find at the moment. I came in 50/50 on buying but when I saw what they had I walked out with a new firearm. I assume stock was low because when I first came in last year people were still panic buying but now it seems to have smoothed out and this location has alot of good stuff in stock. I didnt catch they guys name that helped me but he was a good dude with a good attitude. Recommend this place for further business for sure.

Went in to purchase a NEW Glock 48 9mm. We specifically and directly told the salesperson that we did not want a used gun. We then asked him if the gun we were looking at was BRAND NEW. He said yes and pointed to the display. The display said it was new (see photo), he said it was new, so we purchased the gun and drove 30 minutes back home. Once home, we opened the bag, took out the contents, and printed on the receipt was, GLOCK 48 REFURB 9MM PISTOL! (See photo).Im not sure where they learned the meaning of the word refurbish, but in every dictionary I can find, it DOES NOT mean new.We went back to the store to request a refund and got every excuse in the book why it was new. Its rebuilt to factory specifications, Its like new, It carries the same warranty as new, and my personal favorite, Its just like new, but less expensive.After wasting the morning driving back and forth to the store and all the back and forth with them in front of their customers, they finally refunded our money.Buyer beware when purchasing firearms labeled New at this store!

Went in today to sell a gun, and worked with Todd, who was just fantastic to deal with, and gave me a reasonable price for my gun. Great attitude and very talkative, which I attribute to excellent customer service, that makes you want to come in again. There was also another guy from Jersey there, and he was also a pleasure to speak with. Ill work with guys like them every day, VS. cranky serious face dudes, who turn off customers. Walked in and started looking around. No one asked if I needed help finding anything or if I was just looking. I finally found the section that I was looking for. Kept looking over the selection and I would occasionally look to see if anyone noticed me looking in the glass cases. After 7 minutes of looking at each item in the display cases, I left empty handed.I will say they have a descent selection of merchandise.

Great shop with plenty of options. I went in on 5/13 to purchase a handgun for concealed carry. I wish I could remember the associates name. but he was taller, had black hair and glasses. The associate greeted myself and my friend I had brought along and listened exactly to what I was looking for. Didnt show me anything too far outside my price range, and only showed me sub-compact options that I was looking for. Was in and out in just under 45 minutes with a new concealed carry handgun. Easy and painless. Will definitely buy from here again.

Use to be the only place I would come to buy my guns. Bought a few here they use to be amazing. Walked in to buy ammo which they had what I needed and asked for assistance and was ignored while three guys sit around talking about how hungry they are. Absolutely laziness.

Visited this shop while in town for the holidays. Store was plentifully stocked with everything I was looking for. The store is well kept and the staff was incredibly professional.

All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They always have plenty of staff working and all of them know their stuff. They have very competitive prices on guns and ammo. They are happy to answer questions even when not purchasing a firearm from them. This is my local go-to for everything firearms related.

Summary: I traded in some low end fire arms for a higher end AR 10 rifle. I was offered a fair price for the trade-ins. The AR 10 is in great condition, and is what I expected from the brands reputation. The customer service was excellent. I expect to be going there again, and I am recommending it. Especially if you live in the east valley.Detailed Version: The firearms I traded in I no longer used, and some of them were in poor condition. One even had a defective safety, which I disclosed. I did not want to spend the time to sell them all on-line, so I called AZ Firearms and spoke with Josh who talked me through the process. I brought the firearms in. They happened to have a very nice AR-10 that was one of the brands that was at the top of my list, for a reasonable price. The prices offered I thought were fair. It was used market value minus what it would take for them to take responsibility for the fire arm and resell it. If I had wanted top dollar I would have posted to something like Gun Broker. I did not want to draw out the process, so this worked out for me. I brought in 4 firearms. I liked the price offered on 3, and I opted to keep the 4th. This was my first firearm, so in truth it was not all about the price. On the AR-10, because it was used, I asked about the recourse if there were problems. They told me I had 60 days to bring it back if there were issues, and the course of correction would depend on the problem encountered. Ill never know if they live up to this because I have taken it out to the desert and tested it. It performs to the brands reputation, so there is no need to test the warranty offered. Finally, I read the review before I went in. I noticed that some of the reviews dinged AZ Firearms based on customer service. That was not my experience at all. In fact, it took some time to process the transaction and I watched all the representatives. They were all good representatives. I think I would have been in good hands with any of them. Josh is the one that helped me, and I felt he was honest and I was in good hands. Check this place out if you get a chance.

Absolutely terrible customer service... Purchased a new gun online and wanted to use them for the FFL transfer. I emailed them 3X about accepting a firearm for me with zero response. Emails were sent to both address listed on their website. After realizing that they werent getting back to me I reached out to another shop and had a response within the hour. My order was updated and is now enroute. This is the closest gun store to me and I will never step foot back in that shop again.

Completed a complicated gun transaction with Arizona Firearms Gilbert. Offered them six antique and old guns; pistol, rifles and a shotgun. Co-owners Mike and PJ evaluated them and within an hour made me a fair offer which I accepted. I then offset part of that sale price with the purchase of a new 9MM concealed carry gun. Again they gave me a fair price for the new gun which they had to order as it is a new model. They called within a week and had the gun. I worked with Mike in the Gilbert store and was very impressed. I can recommend Arizona Firearms Gilbert without hesitation.

Poor customer service, I didn’t even finish asking what I was looking for and he was already shaking his head no. Young clerk didn’t have any idea what he was talking about. I had done all my research on line and was actually able to find exactly what I wanted. Needless to say I didn’t use them as an FFL even though they are 5 minutes away from me.

As a 30 year owner of retail businesses I would be proud if this place were my own. The store is well stocked and the staff is knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant to deal with. They will get all my firearms purchases moving forward. This location is more than an hour drive one way for me and it is well worth the drive.

Disappointed in this place I have bought a couple of guns from them. This time all I wanted to do was buy some ball rounds for bear. He kept saying it wont matter it wont matter bears always just walk away. After arguing with the guy for a minute or two. I told him Ive already seen bears on elk hunts up in Utah and Montana eating our kills. And wanted something just in case.Long story short ended up leaving.Isnt the whole point of owning a firearm for protection?

Im fairly new to the firearm world. I tried going to the chain retailers prior to going here. They werent very eager to help me. Im from a small town in New Mexico where everyone knows your name and the big stores leave me feeling out of place. So i left. Since Arizona Firearms is on my way home from work and very near to my house, I decided to stop by and try my luck. The entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and took time to explain the different features of each firearm I had questions about. Needless to say, Im not going anywhere else for the foreseeable future! Since my initial visit, Ive purchased 3 firearms and have plans for many more. Wanted to come in and ask questions about purchasing my first firearm along side a rifle or 2. There was this man stationed at the front door and he didnt say anything directly to me or my family but he did say that its been difficult with customers bringing in their family. I came in with my family that day to do buisness and all I came out with was being insulted by someone who doesnt know whats going on.

Not happy with this shop at all. Bad customer service. My wife and I walked in to purchase her a firearm (shotgun) and they didnt want to sell it to her. He then asked what it was for she said protection and target practice. He said ya sure! The guy gave her a hard time due to her being a woman in my opinion. They were very rude to her. Asked staff member if I was allowed to have my holstered concealed weapon inside the store. Staff member say yes but threatened me to “put some holes” on me if I draw my gun. The owner needs to be more careful who he hires and not just any idiot from the street.

Great gun store with very reasonable prices.Overall the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable but one staff member did stick out to me. Chris seemed to have a ton of knowledge and had great hair to boot buut does lack in customer service area. When checking out he began ferociously pounding on the computer keyboard (apparently having printer issues) and cursing under his breath. Maybe he was having a bad day, however not the best attitude. We get it Chris, you carry a large gun and have great hair but cheer up a bit bud.

The staff has a hands off type of sales style, meaning that of you want to see something come let them know and they will get it for you. This might come off as them ignoring you but some stores just hound you for a sale. The prices are really good compared to the big box stores and most other gun shops, plus being on a county island the taxes are almost half. They are knowledgeable about their products and will negotiate within reason.

Great place for hard to find and unique items. They can get any new firearm on the market because they have multiple locations, but for me the best part is the constantly changing inventory of guns they purchase from people and offer for sale. I found a Benelli hunting shotgun here in brand new condition and picked it up for a fraction of the cost it would have been new.

I believe in supporting small businesses, in the case of purchasing a firearm I will check the local gun shops first to compare prices. If the price is the same or lower, I will purchase it there before going to a big box retailer.That out of the way.. heres my review.I went into Az firearms the other day looking to purchase a particular Sig pistol. There was one other person in the store who appeared to be a snowbird, ( who was probably in there just to talk, not buy), small talking with the employee. I looked in a couple of the cases and looked over at the employee 3-4 times hoping he would ask me if I needed help. He looked right at me each time and continued his chit chatting. I was in there for at least 5 minutes and was never asked if i needed help.I went in there to purchase a pistol, instead I was ignored. I left, drove to a big box and bought my pistol, holster and ammo.I plan on purchasing an AR after Christmas, but I wont be doing it here.At a minimum, this was a $1500.00 to 2k sales loss for the store.I read the reviews on this store prior to going in there, they were all good. I cant say my experience was.

The minimum wage employee behind the counter that acts smug and self important all the while being a know it all (even when wrong) about anything that has anything to do with guns. They have over inflated egos and come off as brash dweebs. Well this place has a bad case of the gun store attitude, one of the worst I have ever seen. Ill shop elsewhere (online) for my needs, that way I dont have to deal with a guy who thinks he is equivalent of a navy seal because he works behind the counter at a gun shop.

When I got home found the gun was inoperable. For a couple reasons. Called the store. They said bring it back. Neither the staff or I noticed the problem at time of purchase. Without any problems. I’ve been to a few gun stores around the valley lately looking for a Henry golden boy. All 4 of the guys I interacted with today were nice and extremely knowledgeable. While I haven’t had a bad experience at any of the other local shops, these guys were just nice and friendly right off the bat. Just enjoyable to talk to and buy from. Plus, no one else had a golden boy but they did and cheaper than all the others I checked! I had actually bought a Glock 42 a week prior somewhere else and I looked at their price while buying the golden boy and they had the same Glock 42 with laser for $32 less. These guys are my new go-to gun shop!

Decent service and no wait. I was disappointed with the knowledge of the rep though. Just bought a new .22 and was looking for some good ammo to see what it was capable of so I stopped by. The ammo is behind the counter so I asked the rep what they had. He had a little trouble going over it all so I asked instead what would be best for shooting tight groups. His response was Remington Golden Bullets and CCI Stingers. So that was that. Anyways the store was clean and service friendly but yeah. Wouldnt mind going back for other supplies but decent .22 ammo probably just isnt their thing.

I went with my husband to purchase my first gun since I got a new job in the Phoenix area. My husband, who was in the military and knows 100% more than me in regards to guns, did most of the talking. I (being the budgeter for our household) was mostly concerned about price and the way it fit in my hand. I trusted the rest of it to my husband. After an HOUR in their shop looking around and finally picking one, the shop owner decided that it was too sketchy that the gun was for me and going to be put in my name but I wasnt interested in the guns at all other than the price. They insisted on putting it in my husbands name but then wouldnt sell it to him either because my last name isnt the same as his (I didnt change my name when we got married). We left the store empty handed and we will not be returning.
