I love this branch of HT. Their staff often remember me and my girlfriends names. Its not too crowded and I can usually find everything Im looking for. The quality of food is also very good.

A high end grocery store with full service. Full service means there is no belt. You give your cart/basket to the cashier and they unload, scan, and bag your items. The store is well stocked, clean, and beautiful. Of course the grocery bill will be higher but for some the trade off may be worth it.

Very clean, professional HT I have seen. You get the right kind of help from the friendly staff. Not crowded and good produce isles.

Love this grocery store. The prices are good and they have a large selection. They also have hot meals ready to grab and go. The store is very clean and organized. Plenty of room to get around. There is a large parking area that is very easy to get in and out of.

Clean, spacious, well laid out, high quality fruits and vegetables, great high quality fresh bread options. Went after a soccer match at the soccer complex on way home to Potomac as the Potomac Village does not have good grocery store options. Shopping at Harris Teeter is an enjoyable experience!

So my parents placed an order for pick up earlier this week and was given an estimated total of 134 (theyre over 65 so not going grocery shopping on their own now). There were no slots available for delivery and the first pick up time was on Friday so they opted for that. Friday morning they received a call that a few of the items they had requested are no longer available, and since it is now Friday, instead of Tuesday (when order was placed) they will no longer honor the prices that were in the original order bringing the total up to over 300+. While I get that prices from earlier this week wouldnt be honored if my parents just walked in to purchase from the store today, I find it a bit appalling that this store would not honor the prices from a purchase that was already paid for. I would even understand this better if this purchase was to be paid for on date of pick up and the money wasnt already in the companys hands days ago. The items that they purchased are not hot ticket items like toilet paper or cleaning products, but rather food items that are plenty in stock at the moment. I know times are tough right now for everyone, but theyre especially tough for those who are elderly and not as technology savvy.

This place is fine as a grocery store. My rating is simply based on the order ahead thing where you place your order and pick up later. Here, they often cant find things you know they have (I have gone inside to verify the item is in fact there) or they just give you the wrong item. I think the service is more of a problem than its worth, but my wife likes it.

Ordered the delivery service because there was no time to get to the store, get the kids, get everything done (you know the drill). Scheduled to have the groceries delivered between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. Was home when the driver claimed to show up to drop off my groceries. This is my 10th or so delivery and no one ever said the groceries must be dropped off with a person. Long story short, I never received my groceries. When I called this store, the Customer Service rep was VERY confused and argued with me - to the point that it seemed like she had to be messing with me. I repeated information MULTIPLE times, like my phone number. I said 703, she repeated back 301. When i demanded to speak to her manager instead, in the end she offered more empathy to the situation, but really, no one ever cared that I didnt receive my groceries and I was really put out. I dont they would have given a refund if I hadnt insisted. Come to find out, the driver kept the groceries in his car and drove around making other deliveries for 3 hours before going back to the store.

We shop here regularly. The customer service is great for the most part, even though there’s only 1-2 registers open most of the time. I like this store because it’s barely ever crowded. Produce is always fresh and the store is very clean and organized.

The pharmacy is always polite, quick and efficient. People need to stop stealing the hand sanitizer from the front counter. For every time someone steals a bottle of hand sanitizer, we are a step closer to tripling the numbers for COV-19

I love this store and its in a convenient location near many barns and stables. People working there are nice also.

Great store, always well stocked, and clean. A little pricey, but buy it on sale and save. Easy checkout with the latest self scanners. Ample parking and seldom crowded. Worth not having to drive into heavily congested Gaithersburg.

I love Harris Teeter as a whole, and this location is not exception! Everyone there is so polite and helpful, its always clean, and its easy to find what I need. The only issue I have with HT is how buggy the self-checkout can be, but the workers there are always quick to assist. :)

Update: The store has gotten better. There are still issues but it has improved since I originally reviewed it some time ago. The produce department is cleaner and better stocked, in particular. It probably comes down to whoever is the manager at a particular time.

I stopped by early Saturday evening to pick up some bread and Danish for Sunday morning. Very poor selection. Bread was very heavy and dense. Picked up a box of Cinnamon Rolls and the bottom of the box was greasy. I am going back to Giant.

I shop at this Harris Teeter frequently. It is a clean store with (mostly) helpful staff. The produce department isnt always fully stocked and I often have trouble finding the fresh herbs I need. The deli is always stocked with what I need and there is always an employee to help you. The fresh meat/seafood counter is always clean and well stocked. The employees there seem to be well educated with what they are doing and are very helpful. While the rest of the store is usually well stocked they have been out of my coffee on more than one occassion!! The prices can be a little bit higher than at some other local grocery stores, but the employees and cleanliness of the store keep me coming back.

Harris Teeter is a specialty grocery store located in Darnestown MD. It carries all types of meats, dairy and produce. The staff is friendly and helpful. During the Covid pandemic, they provide curbside pickup for groceries and other goods. Highly recommend.

Awesome grocery store! Great deals 24-7, great customer service, spectacular breakfast, lunch and dinner bar. On designated days of the week, they have like a huge delicious $7.00 pizza. A huge sub day great price, OMG, Thursday ... Prime. 11:30 am prime rib day. Two very generous cuts of prime rib with two sides of red potatoes and vegs. Oh yeah! And so much more... senior citizen discount...

Less crowded the other Harris Teeters and usually well stocked.

Harris Teeter is one of the best store in the up-county area. The sandwich bar is excellent and you get quality sandwiches here.Quality of food and grocery is very good and at a reasonable prices. We recommend HT for all grocery and some food needs.

Food isnt quite as top-tier as Whole Foods, but there is still a great selection and good-quality fruits/veggies at prices that are far more reasonable than Whole Foods. Very tasty deli has Boars Head meats, though one major critique: off-season tomatoes are excruciatingly bad here. Service was good when I first started visiting but has considerably worsened in recent months, with only a few select employees whom Id individually commend.

The stuff at this store is very polite and helpful. Many times I am looking for special meats or vegetables, and they never mind going out of their way to satisfy the customer needs. They always have farm products and deals on needed items.

They have the best isle headers of all the grocery stores. Oh and their house brand is great and very affordable.

Easy in easy out .nice staff. They have some items that I cant get at safeway. Their produce is better, fresher than safeway down the road. Safeway has better bakery and a larger variety of some items. So I shop at both.
