I understand there is construction going on. I understand there was a medical emergency going on. The forklift driver was not any ware near the event. When I asked ware I can find the land scape timbers. I was told just look. No there over hear . Just you need to look around. This is not except able. I will try again.

I only go to get the 4 gallons of bottled water... otherwise they can jump in a lake because of their mask decisions

Once again outstanding customer service, we were shopping for a quartz clock replacement motor. While in the electrical department we asked the team member if they had any in store. The associate without any hesitation directed us to the hardware dept.,stated the specific aisle # 149 and reference they would be located across from the Dremel tools. They were exactly where he directed us and he didnt consult any computer to tell us so. kudos to the team members who are knowledgeable about products outside their specific departments !!

Male team member behind Customer Service Desk assisted me with finding totes immediately in two areas. Very knowledgeable and aware. Save me alot of time and i even grab stuff i didnt need. Moving so the assistance was very appreciated. I bought (8) of the 30 gallon totes. Thanks

Evan in order pickup did an excellent job of helping me gather all the products and coordinating a forklift to help me load a large quantity of plywood. Pointed out a small rip in the toilet box, not many folks would do that. Outstanding service by Evan!

I needed some all black latex gloves and soon as you get there I noticed what I thought was a entrance into the store was an ONLY exit. So, I had to walk to the other side to get in. I was greeted by a young lady at the customer service desk. And I asked her where I could find some. She radio it in and was able to tell me. When I shop I like to know where it is fast so I am in and out. I felt like she helped me accomplish that 😁👌

We generally used to spend $3,500 - $5,000 a year there. Until I had 2 employees get in my face and threaten me (not within a 6ft. distance mind you - while using a loud and angry tone of voice) to put on a face diaper. They even had their liberal enraged bug eyes going LOL. Meanwhile several other employees had their face diapers half-way on their faces. There are plenty of other Home Improvement stores (who offer way better quality products) that are glad to have our hard earned dollars.

Have been going here since I was a kid. Its never been this bad. Horrible customer service. Very rude staff, management included. Its been several times in a row recently and Im sad to say there wont be a return visit. Home depot right up the road was much nicer and more helpful.

Walked in un-masked because its my own personal choice to make that decision about my individual health & wellness. I will not go into detail about why I choose not to wear one, it is my choice & thats all that is relevant.Proceeded to gather all my supplies, nice guy working in the building material area helped me load drywall onto the cart.Then I get up to the checkout area with roughly $500 worth of products piled up on my cart & the checkout person refuses to process my transaction unless I comply with their woke virtue signaling mask requirements.. I politely explain that the WI Supreme Court has ruled against mask mandates & any refusal of business for refusal to wear one is discrimination.. I was then told to take it up with management..So I left the cart full of material there for them & told the manager they can put it all back, Id prefer to spend my money at Home Depot up the road where they respect the rights of customers personal freedoms & do not try to enforce communist like policies on people.I will not give this store another dime of my money & neither will my clients. Home Depot up the road, as well as Home Depot in West Bend & Grafton, will all respect your freedom of choice.

This store desperately needs conveyer belts at the check out areas. Smdh. No where to put ur shopping items. Cashiers are limited on their counter space, enough to write on a piece of paper. Ridiculous... But the store was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful.

My wife was shopping at this location this evening. Sign at front door, vaxed, no mask, not vaxed, need mask. No help in paint department. I had called and they said they had Rustoleum cement stain no they dont. One off brand in one color. They have no decent plants.

This is the worst establishment that I’ve ever been at. I ordered new carpet for my house that I liked so much. I also ordered padding to go under the carpet. They lady told me that this will be held for you, saying that they will hold it for me. I come to pick it up the day before going on vacation, so of course had a couple of busy days. I then get to Menards to pick up my carpet and padding. I was told that they could not give me the things that they told me that they were able to hold for me. I asked for a general Manager. They came out and told me that they checked stock, and there is no more available. I then asked, since I was told that I was able to have the carpet held, I asked, “Why was I told that I could get it, and it was all in stock, when someone told me that I could pick it up, and it would be there for me?” The general manager Andy was incompetent. I said, “ I was told that it would be here, now I’m going on vacation and I have a guy installing it on Saturday. What am I supposed to do? Then do you have someone that is higher then you?” He responds with, “I can write down the customer service number.” I responded with, “that would be great.” This is the worst establishment, and do not recommend this to anyone. Their customer service is the worst, and have highly incompetent people. If you want something done right, I would highly recommend going to another establishment.

Very organized, clean and well stocked. Friendly cashiers. We weren’t asked if we needed help at any point, although I’m sure it looked like we did and there were employees around several areas we were in for a long time, but sadly that seems to be par for the course for Menards. I don’t even know if it’s something they’re being encouraged to do; I believe they’re mostly encouraged to look busy.Not sure if all Menards are going this way, but this Germantown location and the Brown Deer one are laid out just about identically, which is a brilliant idea.The only weird / frustrating thing is checking out at the standard spots in the front of the store. There is practically no place to unload items you’re purchasing to be scanned. It’s the weirdest thing - it’s just a tiny counter instead of the standard long conveyor belt. Maybe there’s a reason, maybe other Menards do this….but it just doesn’t seem to make sense considering all the messing around the customer and cashier need to do to get items from cart to cashier to bag. The garden center has regular checkout conveyor belts, though.

I cant recommend Medards, there are much better options in the immediate vicinity which provide better customer service. I purchased a couple vanities for a bathroom remodel and needed additional matching backsplashes for the sidesplash. I reached out to the manufacturer to get matching granite and was strung along for almost a year (having paid up-front for the parts). Menards customer service was absolutely no help in resolving the issue either and basically said its my problem. There are better options than this store.

Terrible customer service. Clearly I’m searching for something (10 & 12” mud knife and pan-which you would think would be by all the other knives/mud) and saw a group of three employees talking to each other, went over to ask for help, “say, you wouldn’t happen to know...” and they all scatter as if I were an inconvenience to them. I put down all my merch and left the store...

Today I was shopping and man (Irvin, by his name tag) was being verbally abused by a “Nathan from Corporate (no name tag).” Nathan said, “ this is the worst store I’ve ever seen.” And then ask Irvine, “Do you even want your job?” I was only there to pick up plant spikes and did not fell that I should have witnessed an employe firing. You should be ashamed that anyone from higher up would can a manger in front Of a customer. I put my plant spikes back and will be buying it those through stein’s from now. I called Menards corporate but only got a recording...dumb. I encourage the google reviewers to not shop here as I do not feel it’s fair to threaten an employees livelihood

Great Customer service.

The store is OK. Delivery services are terrible. I scheduled a pallet of pavers to be delivered to my home. I requested that a portable forklift drop the pavers where I wanted on my driveway. When the semi tractor trailer truck arrived, there was no portable forklift. The driver told me he detaches the tractor from the trailer and uses forks on the back of the tractor to drop the pallet. There is no way he could maneuver that huge tractor to drop them where I wanted on the driveway but beyond that I didnt want that weight driven on my new driveway. I also saw it was leaking oil while it was idling on the road. The store manager was very rude and asked me if I wanted it or not. I settled for the load to be dropped at the end of my driveway. I have generally liked Menards and Ive spent many thousands of dollars there but this experience has really tempered that view. There are other home improvement centers to pick from.

I sent messages 2 times to the corporate store and I have yet to hear from them.I was in your store Friday August 7th with my parents and husband and we were treated horribly by one of your employees. We were not wearing masks and can not due to medical reasons and but instead of your employee coming up and asking us in a civil wayhe yelled at us and demanded we leave.I think this could have been handled very differently and this is the only store I’ve been in were any employee acted this way.And to top of off my Dad has a service dog and the employee told him he couldn’t have a dog in the store and once the employee was told it was a service dog, the employee then said “I don’t care get out”I did look up your google reviews and noticed you’ve had 2 recent negative reviews, one with this exact issue and anther with your staff being rude.This person’s name was Adam and I think it would be best to educate him on communication skills and laws.

Great Menards store with helpful and friendly staff. However, it is still a previous design so there is less selection and che checkout counters have no belt which makes checking out much less efficient if you have many small items.

Very friendly staff. When I needed help it was freely given. The clerk walked to the merchandise and put what I was after in my cart. WOW.....

Every time I come here I end up leaving with more than I planned on. Very helpful and friendly employees, definitely easy to navigate stores, prices that are better or competitive with most local home improvement, supply stores.

I went to take my son to pick out accents for his bedroom remodel and was stopped at the door and told he was not allowed to enter the store. Their reasoning was “children under 16 do not make purchases in their store.” Then they told that I HAD to wear a face mask and could purchase one from their service counter. I used to like menards however restricting who can enter and forcing me to wear a face mask is not acceptable to me. I will not be returning to this location until they change the way they do business.

I was ar war with Stienhafels, was waiting since July 2nd,I bought a couch from here took it the same day, you made me so happy I bought the matching recliner, it was all cheaper then what I paid, now Im gonna get my money back from them, thank you so much for my new living room ....love it, just in time for Christmas, you saved the day ...I saved big money at Menards ....lol

Saw the employees treat a customer so rudely today. Very sad. The man did not want to wear a mask and the store employees were so unprofessional and hostile. They forced him to leave in a very meanspirited way. Very sad. Is this what our community has come to? I was so upset. I wont be back. Menards should apologize. The way they are handling this whole thing is not right.

The mill work is awful. All of the joints in my raw maple doors look like garbage. The door frames on my prehung doors have to be repaired with every door. Good luck finding matching moulding. almost every piece I bought is different. if you butt one piece up to another none of the grooves match up making all of the joints look terrible. Theyve been out of varathane oil based semi gloss aerosol polyurathane for 3 weeks. I will be shopping at the home depot thats less than a mile away for now on. Much nicer employees, better tool brands, better doors, better moulding, they keep track of stock better, and with most things have a bigger better selection.

Friendly and very helpful employees. An elderly worker helped me and my daughter find a specific swing we were looking for and gave us many ideas on how to hang it. Pleased with how he took care of us.Also, I left my phone on the counter where you swipe your card to pay and didnt notice until I got to my car. I ran back in and the cashier already turned it into customer service so it would be safe. Appreciated that so much!Very satisfied with the service I recieved. This is my favorite Menards.

Not as good as the store on brown deer rd. No conveyor belts and many uptight employees. They get angry when you return something from another menards store to this store.

Great price on vinyl plank flooring. Ordered it online and made the pickup in tjeir yard. They loaded the pallet in my truck bed and I was on my way home. I never even had to go in the store and only had to handly the boxes once!!

If I could give a worst rating I would. Rude and incompetent store manager who literally has the worst customer service. Another Menards sold me a column for a set price but couldn’t fill the order then sent me to this store to pickup last part of my order. The store manager tried to charge me more, made me wait over 30 minutes, wouldn’t price match, and was rude... all for $20.

Ive always wondered why the owner pays himself more than the CEOs of Lowes and Home Depot. Especially in a state like Wisconsin where prices and wages are generally low. And the prices at Menards are not the cheapest nor is the quality or selection the greatest. And whats with the whole rigamarole about rebates for in store credit? Spare me the circus act, just give a discount already. And now this insanely inflexible mask policy. Theyve trained all their employees to be bullies. Im just done with this place.

Everyone had masks on and respected social distancing, the staff were much nicer at this location then some of the others Ive visited.

This is the 3rd time I have shopped at Menards In 2 weeks. I have suffered a stroke and been diagnosed with heart failure so I need a scooter to shop. Both times I shopped I had to walk around the store without assistance from a scooter. I spoke to the manager Ted who stated we have 2 but one is broken. Ted stated one is always available. I informed Ted I shop at Menards too often to keep spending money where they dont care about their customers.

Frustrating. No tag on the shelf in the yard by the retaining wall caps I wanted, so I got the wrong ones. Didnt get charged for the correct color either since the new kid was confused. Returning them was a hassle, but all staff were friendly.

Wide abundance of products that fulfill your home improvement needs. But make sure you really like what you buy because returning it is an absolute terrible experience. Waited over an hour to return one simple product. No one in returns has a clue as to what’s going on. I’ll gladly go to Home Depot instead
