Dont go there to take a passport photo... I called them before I go there to make sure they have it. The cashier who wanted to take a picture was nice and tried to do it right but the manager didnt listen to me and did what he want. I showed him the sample and ask him to take like that and dont edit the picture but at the end he edited it. I paid $22 for the picture that I cant use at all.
Got my Covid-19 drive-thru test here after my school told me to get one for contact tracing. Got my negative result in a couple of days! Was kind of a long wait to receive the testing kit but I get that theyre busy.
The photo department did not have the right size paper for my print but instead of calling me and letting me know, I had to wait hours past my pick-up time and call them to see what was going on. The people over the phone were not helpful and had me call over to another Walgreens to see if they had the right paper.
I took an appointment for my Covid booster shot for 2:45pm. I filled the forms beforehand (rather extensive), had all my ID. On submission of the forms I waited 30 minutes before the pharmacist came to give the vaccination. As I waited I heard the conversations and interactions with other customers for the same shot and other medications. This is an untrained staff that does not respect peoples time and does not follow the appointment system. They haphazardly fill out prescriptions, attend to customers in the drive through and to those that wait for vaccinations. The pharmacist is rude to customers and seeks to make excuses rather than follow the outlined process. Walgreens management must intervene to ensure that their systems are followed to the letter so that they provide services at par with other Walgreen Stores in the vicinity as well as competitors. The pharmacist does required more training in cusotmer services and systems. It appears she likes to collect vaccination customers so that she can come once and inject all of them. Convenient to her but disrespectful of the the customers time. Other reviews here are accurate and similar. Its mismangement coupled with rude behavior and a haphazard system.
The pharmacy department is rude. The lead pharmacist doesnt like checking out non-pharmacy items at her register. Its called retail pharmacy for a reason, people shop while they wait for their prescriptions to be filled. Also, the pharmacy technician likes to mock people who cant hear him speak, through his mask. Ive complained 3 times about my experience and never got a call or anything in regards to the way the some of the pharmacy technicians interact with some customers. The rest of the store is ok, the pharmacy is the worst.
Took the COVID test on Sunday 09/26/21 at 12PM. Was told 1-2 days but still no result as of 09/29/21 10AM.
TLDR: The pharmacy at this location is the absolute worst. DO NOT GO HEREThey consistently fail to have prescriptions filled, even after sending notification that everything is ready. The pharmacists refuse to speak clearly or loud enough to be understood. I am hard of hearing with hearing aids and cannot hear or understand them even after asking them to repeat themselves multiple times. They close the pharmacy for lunch rather than stagger their breaks and absolutely would not wait any amount of time for me to pick up in spite of the fact that they didnt have the prescriptions ready when I came the first time. I live over an hour away so I had to find something to do until they reopened. This was not a one time occurrence. This is there standard operating procedure. I would give zero stars if I could. Do better.
Whatever you do please don’t take any FedEx package at this location for pick up. I had a package that was scheduled for a two day delivery and they had the package sitting there for two days. I had to get it and bring it to original FedEx outlet so they could send it out. Wish I could give them a half star rating! 👎🏼👎🏼
Every time you go there for curbside pick up they cant find your order and you end up walking in the store.
I took my niece yesterday to get her COVID-19 vaccine at the pharmacy and the experience was awful. The pharmacist left for a 15 minute break, knowing there were people waiting to get their vaccine. When she returned, her energy was no negative. She was not kid friendly at all. My niece was very scared of getting the vaccine and you would think she would re-assure her that everything would be ok, but she barely said anything to us. She looks like she hates her job. Canceled our second dose with this location and plan on going to another location. I will also make sure to complain to corporate. Treating people unfairly and slightly rude is not acceptable.
The main job of a store is to make it convenient for the customers to buy the products that they are searching for. I go into Walgreens there seems to never be a cashier waiting at the front when I am ready to make my purchases.it makes no sense to have the cashiers stocking the aisles and away from the main register.when you run into a store to grab a quick item you should be able to grab it and go immediately. Theyre more concerned about stocking then making sure they have sales.I dont see how inconveniencing the customers is a good corporate move there are so many people that just leave the store because they dont have time to go hunt down a cashier. Stop making your cashiers do multiple things make sure their main job is to ring up the customers.I am tired of yelling for help when I am ready to check out and having someone yelled back Im coming Im coming. Keep the cashiers in the front and stop being so cheap. Stop Overworking your staff and inconveniencing your customers.
Extremely rude pharmacy staff.
Its Sunday afternoon. Im picking up pictures from one hour photo. There is ONE worker in the entire store. This is not good customer service and businesses should care about such things. If you have an alternative to this store, take it.
I used To really like Rite Aid... Then Walgreens came in and took over the store and they have everything but only for white people. The good example is I used to get my dark and lovely hair color from Rite Aid. Now they don’t carry any types of hair color for women of color at all. I had to go to the CVS to get my hair colored. I think I will stop shopping at the Walgreens now.
Ive been filling my prescriptions here (at Rite Aid) for a few years now, but like others have said it went downhill very quickly when Walgreens took over. Very slow service, Ill stand at the counter for 10 minutes until someone will finally come over. I can handle that, I know pharmacies are always understaffed. What I cant deal with is what happened to me yesterday. I filled my usual monthly prescriptions, 2 controlled substances. When I came to pick them up, one was nearly $200. One of the pharmacy techs explained to me that I needed to call my insurance and theyd explain it to me. I told her I had my formulary open, on my account, and Ive been taking this medication for 5 years with the same insurance. I know my coverage.Im sure she hears that a lot, but she proceeded to say she was a little surprised it was that expensive because she noticed I filled it in January for $20. She then said my insurance must have changed because of the new year. I said that wasnt the case because I had my insurance info open (on my phone, logged into my account with the estimated price) with my coverage explained. I also filled it in January 2020, which is the same year we are currently in. After she insisted she entered it the correct way and would not try to enter it again, I asked for my prescription back. She was snarky with me and said It is going to be the same anywhere you go. You need to call your insurance. I told her I would take that chance.I went to CVS on Frederick Road immediately after. They helped me within a minute after I approached their counter, sent me a text 30min later saying it was ready. When I picked it up, the price was $20.
