I work in Germantown and needed a garage that does emissions testing. They were listed on the state website. I took a look at Village Tire & Autos website to verify they do the emission testing. The website explained in plenty of detail how the emission testing process works and what hours it is available.I decided to go on my lunch hour. I was promptly greeted and my vehicle was pulled in for testing immediately. All together I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. I couldnt ask for a more pleasant experience.

Great HONEST mechanics!!! 3rd generation customer. They wont try to BS you into repairs that you dont need. Theyll try to get used parts for you to save you money (they do not do this without your concent).

I have been going to them since 2003. I know next to nothing about cars. They are very helpful and work out my options for repair. I have had support of my car saavy friends to vet the repair options presented by Village Tire and Auto & they are always spot on with the necessary and optional repairs needed. As soon as my car goes off of the original warranty/service contract, I start bringing my vehicle to them, and they are much much affordable than any dealership I have had to deal with. They have been able to help me maintain my older (domestic) cars I consistently get more than 10 years out of them.

I stopped in on May 15, 2018 for an emissions test. Nick worked on the car and was finished fairly quickly. On my drive home I noticed a small plastic piece sitting in the console and wondered what it was for. I drove the car this weekend and the OBD cover fell out of the dash right next to the plastic piece. When opening the door to access the plug, Im guessing Nick broke the tab. Nick never said a word to me at the time of pickup, so I called today. He said he had no recollection of the event, nor offered any help fixing it. I understand that plastic gets brittle over time and it is a small thing, but at a minimum he could have told me about it. Even if he truly didnt know it happened, I wouldve appreciated an offer to look at it and maybe order a new cover. Instead, I got silence on the phone and zero help or apology. I will not be returning.

These guys do excellent service at reasonable prices. I drive my cars up from Downtown MKE to be serviced here. My girlfriend s car needed to be towed in for service last time, they have an arrangement with a local towing service, all billed at the time of pickup. Car has been running great since! Will most definitely be coming back.

Taken my car here 2 or 3 times to have tires switched out between Summer and Winter tires. So far no issues, have had issues with other places breaking the TPMSs on tires and creating a huge fiasco.

They are garbage had to get a fuel pump fixed and they shoved it in broke other stuff they destroyed my friends transmission. Not only that but they wont remberse me and the dont give any information dont tell you about the Warranty no paper work nothing never going here again.
