1. Phone rang 14 times before someone answered, and he said, auto. 2. When I said I had trailer tires to mount, he said well have to see if we can do it. If not you can go to Fleet Farm. 3. The cost to mount, balance and recycle was more than the tires.

Closed 5 hours earlier than advertised. I called at 1:30 to see how long the wait was for me to get my tire repaired with my road hazard warranty. Was told shop was closing at 3 (advertised closing is 7 pm) and I would be able to get my tire fixed if I arrived before then. I got there around 2 and then was told everyone was going to lunch and when they got back the auto center was going to be closed due to being short-staffed.

Ive been calling to set up a tire appointment for two days...nobody answered. I asked to speak to a manager, got attitude from the operator, and got no answer from the manager! Pewaukee and West Bend answered right away...auto techs were very helpful. Germantown is one of the worst managed Walmarts in the Metro area...on par with Silver Spring and Brown Deer. Perhaps this is a Covid related staffing issue.

Got my tires put on my chevy silverado at walmart and to be honest for the price it was a deal, tires are great, seals are fine... however I go to change out my wheel bearings today I realize holy smokes these lug nuts are really on there (clearly they used an impact and not a torque wrench to tighten my lugs) they were on there so tight I cracked the socket on my breaker bar with how much force I had to put into loosening the nut. Now I spent extra money on dremel cutting wheels to cut the nut off and instead of saving money on my tires now it would have been cheaper to go to a more reputable place in the long run... hand torque your lug nuts with a torque wrench NOT AN IMPACT. All this reflects is poor training and poor workmanship, if you want me to come down there and do a tutorial on a torque wrench for your employees please let me know.

I blew a tire on Highway 41 on a Sunday night, and the staff was kind enough to stay a few extra minutes to put on a new tire for me. That saved me a ton of money from being towed all the way back to Appleton. Im very thankful for their kindness and professionalism!

They do their best. Keeping in mind that it is the most cost effective place for tires, you cant expect royalty . Im greatful for the $100+ overall I saved just by being patient and understanding.

They have always been very courteous, friendly & provide relatively fast service (as fast as can be reasonably expected). The weather has been horrible this past week & they seemed very overwhelmed with what seemed like everyone in town was getting service there so I left disappointed that they couldnt get my car in for a tire repair but I definitely understood. They sell GREAT batteries & tires, usually a little cheaper than other places.

1st person in line and 3 F&:$:!? hours to mount and balance 2 tires. On top of that, it took 20 minutes just to get checked out. One tire mounted correctly with black wall out and the other with white wall out. Tires not even filled to proper tire pressure. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

In regards to the Auto Center. Now that you can make an appointment to have tires put on, its much better. For other services, youll be there for quite awhile.

I had called at 3:15 pm and asked if I can bring in a tire to have replaced. The worker in auto center said yes and that they were open til 7. However when I arrived at 4:10, I waited in line for my turn but was told that they couldn’t work on my tire because they close at 5 and wouldn’t have enough time. I was told to come back the following day and so I asked if they close at 5pm everyday. She replied no, just today because they are short staff. I understand that being short staff would mean completing the task would be longer but u don’t understand the need to close 2 hrs early if the hours of operation were suppose to be til 7pm.

Yeah went there for a battery. Never again bad bad service. I had to research the battery myself. When asked a question the staff were clueless. Brought a battery in for exchange to credit for the core. Yep forgot to take off. When told the service person it was on the counter became slightly rude like it was my fault she screwed up. Stay away bad service

It can be a hit or a miss depending on if the employees are fully staffed. Keith & Mary Pat are the most amazing associates there. I needed key made today & I got taken care of immediately.

I had a 4:00 appointment to get 4 new tires. Mary Pat was amazingly helpful in getting me the correct tires for my car and got me signed in despite computer issues. I was in and out in less than an hour. Ill definitely be back and recommend to friends/ family.

Worst customer service Ive ever had. I will not be going back. My tires were put on wrong and I had to go back a week later and have them fix what they messed up. Even after that I had to pay the service fee for them to fix it as well.I would not recommend.

Worst place ever!! Had 2 tires put on & the 1 leaked from the bead got caught in bad traffic & didnt notice cause I was driving slow & it damaged the tire..They wouldnt replace it..The other tire wonly had 32 lbs of pressure and it was supposed to have 44😡😡😡 Horrible service!! Dont go there !!

Brought in a set of tires for mount/balance. Work was completed in less than 30 minutes, and I was on my way. I have had RV or Auto tires mounted 5 times now either at Germantown or Hartford and have been very satisfied.

Bought new tires, but they wouldnt put them on because the lady couldnt get my 5 speed in reverse. I was still in the store, went out and put it in reverse with NO PROBLEM. Its a 96 Accord, so sometimes with an older car, u have to MAKE SURE u move the stick shift ALL THE WAY OVER before you go down to get it in gear, anyone who has driven stick knows that, and she claimed that she has driven for 46 years....but how many of those years has she driven stick?? When was the last time she had?? Absolutely ridiculous, when I walked right out the door and put it in gear and told her about it!! But, instead I had to drive down the road to tires plus, who put them on, with not a problem at all!! On top of that, I paid part with 3 gift cards, and she couldnt get those to work at first either! After she claimed that she was a long time employee, and had tried EVERY way she knew how. But then the assistant manager came over and got them to work....And what was the problem? She had to enter the exact amount of the GC, which is ANOTHER thing that any competent, long term employee, SHOULD KNOW!! It took an hour just to buy 4 tires....Also, why wouldnt you ask right when I was buying them, if the parking brake, and reverse worked, which she once again, CLAIMED, that they ALWAYS ask the customer when they buy tires from them?? She couldnt get the car in reverse, and couldnt run the GCs right!! Maybe u guys should think about getting someone in there who knows what theyre doing?!? I will NEVER bring my business back to this Walmart again!!

Went for an oil change-- didnt have to wait long at all. There were others there waiting for tires, and I know there was a bit of a wait there. The staff did a good job keeping people updated on where they were at in the queue. Keith was very friendly, making recommendations, and not trying to upsell me like some of those quick oil change places, which I really appreciated. He even pointed me to the free coffee and a wall outlet when he saw I was doing some work on my laptop while I waited (using stores free wi-fi). Ive been to this location in the past for tire patches, and always appreciate the great service. I was in and out very quickly!

Went to Germantown, WI Walmart Auto Center to have a flat tire patched. After a twenty minute wait, employee behind counter asked me to bring tire in. He told me the repair would cost $22 plus tax. I pointed to $10 listed price on their “price menu”, but he explained that price doesn’t include a charge for dismounting/re-mounting. Odd way to advertise price, but I was already standing there with the tire, so I agreed. Employee then told me he may get to it in a couple of hours. Seems unreasonable for a tire repair, but I don’t know their workload or staffing, so I took a seat and said I would wait. Another 15 minutes later, technician came out and said I need a new tire. I asked why and was told the screw (cause of flat tire which I already knew) was “in the sidewall”. At the time I didn’t know exactly how far from the sidewall the screw was, but knew it was “in the sidewall”. I took the tire and left; drove one block south to the Germantown, WI Fleet Farm Auto Center. They patched the tire within an hour for $7 less ($16.93 WITH tax). When I returned home, I measured the center of the patch to the sidewall...3.5” away. Germantown Walmart Auto Center is crooked, dishonest, and rude. Wonder how many unsuspecting and trusting people they’ve cheated???

I must admit I had a very terrible experience the other day at the Walmart auto care center in Germantown Wisconsin! The only reason why I gave them four stars is because they were short-staffed and with your Monistat they had they still did a pretty excellent job but to be honest with you if I could I would never step foot inside of that place again! Unless I had to and if I have to Im just going to mentally prepare myself to be there for at least 4 hours no matter what the job is! SMH but like I said the staff is nice and they do do their best to try to get you in and out and do a good job on your vehicle. Ill still recommend them to my friends

Tire service is awful. Bought two tires online and call on Sunday morning to schedule an appointment for my tires to be installed. The man on the phone said to just come in and they will install my tires on for me. I told him that I was there yesterday and appointments had to be made for tire installments. He still said to just come in. Went in and hour later and man at the counter said I got to schedule an appointment for the tires to be installed. And takes me about 20 minutes just to get to that Walmart!

Called a few times over the last month to conform tires in stock. When asked if I could make an appointment to have 2 tires installed I was talked into not coming in. Too busy short staffed cant guarrentee. At one point hi asked if he was trying to talk me out of having a service done there.. 2 nd call few weeks later. Same . I will avoid this auto center and go down the road. .

I dropped my vehicle off Saturday morning at 7:15. There were only 3 customers ahead of me. Keep in mind all they do are tires and oil changes- at 9:15 I was still waiting for them to even get my vehicle in to look at it. Im writing this at 10:40 and am still waiting for a tire repair and rotation. Avoid this Walmart tire center unless you have all day to wait for service that at any other place could be done within an hour. Truly pathetic.

I stood in line for 20 mins to get oil change around 3 or so. Store doesnt close till 7pm and i was told they wasnt doin oil change anymore. I was upset with the fact i stood in line and never was mentioned or anything!!

Went in during regular business hours to purchase a battery. There was no cashier on staff at the tire desk they told me I had to go up front and take my core battery with me. Needless to say I left and went to Fleet Farm where I purchase a battery for my vehicle!

45 minute wait at the auto center after an hour and a half wait two days prior to be told they will not put a tire that I bought from them on my car.The lady laughed at me and told me she would not return the tire for me. Horrible customer service. I may not go back to this Walmart ever again.

They could not find my tires for a hour then they put me on the end of the list when they found them and told me it would be over a another hour and I was there before all the people there.

Bought a new car battery...took 3 minutes to pick it out and 1 hour and 20minutes to install it. The worst part is that no one tells you what is happening. They told me 15 minutes at the start. Thank heavens for the guy who helped me pick it out...he put me ahead of another job or I would still be waiting!
