Had a extremely bad experience. Dropped off my car for tire repair on Labor day around 1:30 pm. I was told I can pickup the car before 7 pm. I asked multiple time to confirm the time. There was a post to state the store will be closed at 6pm at the day. I pointed to the post and the associate still told me come before 7 pm. I went there at 6:45 pm. The store closed. The car was not fixed. Turn out I have to shared car with family member to work and we both lose a hour pay to compromise work schedule. The next day I called the store. The associate answered the call said the previous days associate messed up the schedule and forgot to call us. They will give me $50 discount. But I told he that is not an acceptable reason and $50 did not cover half our loss.I went pick up the in the afternoon. There is only one associate on the service desk and working on paperwork. I waited for 30 min and he was still working on paperwork and did not intend to help anyone. There were 7 people wait on the line but he did not care at all. I asked him several time until he start to service me. I told him that $50 did not cover my lose due to their mistake. He dont want to go any more. As there was so many people waiting, I asked the store manager. He said he is the store manager. I asked he to write down his name but he is not willing to. He wrote down Sergio after I asked him several time. I asked him to write down on service phone number. He refused to do and said I asked to much.I left as too many other customers was still waiting.I am not sure if all Pep Boy service are so unresponsible and their staff and so rude.
Made an appointment for 9am to drop my car off and get only one tire replaced (I had a spare on), they didnt call me all day and when I called at 6:30pm (30 minutes before close), they told me to come in at 7pm (which was closing time). When I arrived, I saw them JUST starting my car and getting on the lift and still had my spare tire on. Was told in the morning only 3 people were ahead of me.
The customer service is terrible. I had a 10am appt. to get 4 tires installed and 4hrs plus for the service to get done. Thats is just ridiculous. I will never come here for repairs and advice anyone not to come here.....
Right rear breaks were grinding, took it in to replace just both back rear breaks as well as an oil change as it was already in there. Got a call and said all 4 breaks needed to be replaced. I called another garage and they said they could do all 4 for almost $300 cheaper. When I took it there, they also said I only needed rear breaks and that the fronts had plenty of life left in them. Now, after I called the other garage for the quote, I decided to just get an oil change at pepboys since they still had my car. After charging me $100 for it, I get my car back and after about a week I found they hadnt even replaced the oil in the car. Definitely never going back to this shop.
I called them and told them that my check engine light came on and would they have time to run a diagnostic on it this afternoon. He said to come at 3pm. I came at 2:45 and he said I dont know who you spoke with (I am 95% sure it was the dude I was speaking with? But we dont have time to do it cause the only guy who can do it is busy. Thanks a bunch!
Pep Boys was okay. It took a while for them to fix my moms car, but they fixed all the problems: changing the dead battery and replacing the tires. They also had a waiting room for me and my dad to use while they were fixing the car. They also had refreshments like drinks in case we get thirsty. So overall, Pep Boys was pretty good. They have car parts and tires of every variety that are suitable for your cars needs. Check it out and see for yourself.
Pep Boys in Germantown is almost always a good experience for me. And, my most recent trip was not an exception. There were a few hiccups with my experience this time.I went in to get new tires, that I ordered from Amazon, mounted and balanced. I setup my Pep Boys service at checkout on Amazon and paid for the service there. Pep Boys took delivery of the tires ahead of my appointment and stored them for me at no additional cost.I arrived on time for my appointment and they took me right away. The cashier advised that I should get an alignment when mounting new tires. I agreed, and he said it would take a couple hours. Approximately 3 hours later (not so great) they texted me and I went back in to get my car back.They could not perform the alignment, because they dont have the right equipment to perform an alignment on my vehicle (also not so great). They did not charge me anything for the alignment and I was on my way.The only real issues I had were how long it took, and the fact that when they put air in the tires it varied by about 5 PSI across all four tires. And, no two tires were the same or even the correct PSI. Thats not a big problem for me though, because I have a small air compressor at home to pump up my tires. So, Ill fix that myself. Overall it was a good experience, with a couple small issues that didnt greatly effect the outcome.
The people that are at the tire shop are VERY rude and overbearing.Since the time I called to the shop asking for an appointment for tire rotation the person who answered told me that I didn’t need it. So after arguing with him, he told me to go and he would check the tires. Once there, other worker was yelling at me in a despotic way to not “park” in that spot. I explained that I wasn’t parking, that the guy inside asked me to bring the car there so he could examine it.I don’t know what’s going on on this location but if you want to be treated like garbage, this is your place to go!I’m not going back there!
Very bad experience first that dont even acknowledge you are waiting. My car got diagnoses was that I needed a starter then they said it was the engine and want me to pay for something they diagnose wrong. The manager is very rude and disrespectful dont waste your time
Dont waste time in depending on this store for the car needs, recommend you go elsewhere. Booked appointment 3 times in different days and got call from store on all days that they had too many cars and mentioned to Rebook appointment. looks like online appointments are not working or store is not honoring them.
When I buy oil from this place, which is... was, always, they tell me I can take the used oil back for recycling. I come back, and the service guy says they arent taking it. He had a great point though, I can take my business elsewhere. Thanks for the tip!
I arrived before my appointment, 45 min after my appointment time, the car had not even been moved into the service bay. No i am sorry we are running behind or can we reschedule you or anything. i is just poor service and they wont tell you the price if you have a coupon until after the oil change. guess what, you pay more than the coupon price (price was 108, but coupon said 59.99) What a rip off.
Very disappointed. Worst customer experience. I went to this pepboys location for a tire change. Without my consent they did a tire alignment even in the report they showed there is no change in the alignment. Later on they suggested me to open pep boys Credit Card in order to get $99 discount which will make the alignment as complimentary. Never ever going to go back to pepboys.
Pepboys at this location in Germantown Employees choose whom they like and if they do not like you you suffer all sorts of unlawful MEAN TOTALLY horrible Customer care service. Me a senior citizen disabled veteran came in at 9am and left at closing time and my car was still not fixed broke down on WAY home ! I hope they like you.
Avoid at all costs!Still in shock with the experience we had there. They had our car for 5 days, 3 of which it just sat there as they couldnt call our insurance company in time before they closed.One time they told me they did leave a message with our insurance so I called the company myself to check and no call had been made. When I told Pepboys that, they asked which number I had called and did not deny they didnt call.After 5 painful days, we finally picked up our car to find out they only fixed 1 of the 5 things they were supposed to!! When we asked why, the guy said he had no idea and to bring it back tomorrow. Well, obviously never taking it back. Took it to a local shop, they did a wonderful job and got the thousands in repairs that Pepboys could have gotten if they were competent. Save your sanity and precious time and go elsewhere.
I went to get an alignment on my car. The alignment was fine, but then the service tech recommended that I get my front brakes changed with new rotors and pads. I had my rotors resurfaced at the Nissan dealership earlier in the year. Regardless, I went ahead to get my front brake pads and rotors replaced with the top of the line rotors and pads and was ensured by Michael to have zero squeak and noise. Once the car was finished I drove it out of the parking lot and heard loud squeaking. I thought it needed a break in period and continued to drive it for 2 weeks. I have since brought the car back 3 times to have the pads checked and they kept applying grease and tried to shave some of the pad down to see if that fixed the issue. It didnt and then they had a different tech check out the issue, Skip, and Skip said he couldnt hear anything because hes hard of hearing so they had an audio tech check out the issue and the audio tech came to me and said he heard the squeak and rated it an audio level rating. I dont care about what level the squeak is at. Its noise and it happens all the time. I want it to be fixed. It didnt squeak before I got the pads and rotors changed so why is it squeaking now? Then then service guy made a comment to me and said, You probably need higher quality pads but I used the highest possible pads that pep boys had to offer so are you telling me that pep boys sold me low quality parts and promoted them to be the top of the line? The pep boys service tech then concluded and said, Theres nothing wrong with the brakes. They work and stop the car. They just squeak. If I recall I specifically asked Michael prior to making payment if the choice in pads and rotors were going to cause squeaking and he said no which is why I paid a premium to have those parts, but it speaks so loudly that I cant take it especially when I paid a premium for the best. I still have loud squeaking and after 3 visits I have been unable to get it resolved and its been 5 months. They give you warranty on their product and service but dont resolve issues. My car didnt squeak before the change and now it does horrendously. Instead of thoroughly replacing it or solving it they wasted my time by having me come back 3 times to apply more grease, shave the pads, and telling me that they rated my squeaking noise and that I probably need higher quality pads even though I bought them from pep boys and was told they were the highest of quality and would cause 0 noise or squeak. $500 down the drain. I went to Nissan and had them check the issue and they confirmed that the noise was coming from the front. Pep boys still has not solved my problem that they created.
I made a 10:30 appointment for an oil change. I arrived 15 minutes early. When I checked in, I was told it would be a couple hours to get it done. What’s the point in making an appointment if Pep Boys won’t honor it? Unless you’ve got a few hours to waste for a 15-minute oil change, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Still in shock at the experience I had at your Germantown,Maryland location.I made an appointment at 11am the receptionist Danny quoted my vehicle will be done in 2-3 hours or “he will give me a call.” I never received a call email or any information about my vehicle I called on 3 separate occasions I was put on hold by Danny for 30+ minutes each time and never picked up. So I show up to the store around 5pm; an hour before you close and Danny is there doing nothing not even calling back. He tells me I need a new starter, I ask him the price he can not tell me, I ask him how long will it take he can not tell me. All he knows is if we order it the parts will come a hour later. Which serves me no purpose my car has been sitting all day and you did not call me back nor tell me the issues and things I need. I am completely and utterly disappointed in the poor service I received.I demand an answer to why this has happenedand why my service has been so poor.
First off, Ive been going here for 4 years so far, and the customer service is great, I dont know about the service center, but the store it self and its employees have always been helpful, and friendly. The manager, Kamal Is very friendly and helpful, always a great interaction.

Arrived at 0945 for my 10am appointment. Online quoted me 30 mins however the guy at the counter said it will take about an hour. The waiting area has free WiFi, coffee, TV and chairs and looks quite dismal.The store is large, clean and truly a mans play ground! They have a lot of employees however I didnt ask any of them any questions to test their knowledge.Overall my experience has not been to disappointing. Before preceding with my oil change they did tell me all that was wrong with my truck. Because I knew what was wrong already, I can say their findings were spot on.

Dont bother making appt. I made a 10 am appt to get a simple tire plug. Its been almost 2 hours and they still havent started the repair. Guys at the counter told me that appts really dont matter if someone comes in before you. Really frustrating, I wont be back for service or merchandise.
Such service store i come to di a alignment on 20/06 after that when i go home i saw that they forget to put back my wheel cover. And i call them on Monday to check it. And they say the guy work on weekends didnt work on weekday sa they ask me come back to check back on weekends when i come back on weekends 27/06 they push the responsibility to manager again. They dont responsibility for any miss work. Never come back again

Ive had PLENT of problems every time i came into this stealer shop. i was charged $1200 on things i didnt need. when i only came for a checkup and a MAF clean. I had an aftermarket intake and was charged $60 dollars for it WHEN IT WAS NEVER EVEN CHANGED. i came back into the store and asked a refund and they said I couldnt even refund on work that they havent even done. What they are doing is fraud in a sense. NEVER take your car there for anything.
Yet again Pep Boys di not disappoint!!! Danny and they guys got my car up and going with friendly, quick and appreciative service. Work was done sooner than expected and they sent an Uber to pick me up. Thanks fellas!

My boyfriend scheduled an appointment with this location 2 weeks ago because his car wasnt starting, we knew it had to have been the alternator because we had just got it replaced 8 months ago. The first time he only bought the part there, and got warranty on it at pep-boys, ( hence why we came back when it stopped working). When they were diagnosing the car, the mechanic or crew member was trying to tell him it was the starter and then proceeded to tell him it would 750 for a starter and labor. My boyfriend told them it was not the starter that had the issue, so he then went back and forth, the associate tried to reassure him that the mechanic who checked was a great mechanic and that he knew what he was doing, however after that a couple days later once we took the car back we ended up jumping it to see if maybe the car needed some extra help, then we were able to simply jumpstart it and it would stay on. We ended up taking the car back to just get it done and over with, and when we took the car back the second time, (which was a sunday) they told us that monday they would have it done by the end of business day on monday, it was not and no one called to update till tuesday, they then told us it was NOT the starter it was infact a bad alternator and so then they fixed the alternator then never called to tell us it was ready for pickup, when i asked the associate why he said the associate told him he did call us and he did not. This location was terrible everytime my boyfriend went in inperson they made it seem like he was bothering them. The asssociates were rude. They tried to make him pay for the starter to be changed and refused to say that it was the alternator, they said they had tested it the first time, but then 2 weeks later they said it wasnt the starter. Had we gone with what they said he would have paid for the starter that worked fine to be replaced and an alternator to be changed. My bf works online delivery he had to pay for a rental for 2 weeks when pepboys could have just checked the car and changed the alternator the first time we brought it, instead the associates were just terrible in service . NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

Place was very busy today- Sunday. After a bit of hiccup of not finding me on their system and Jesse ripping off the wrong coupon from the Maintenance Plan booklet (I thought it was funny), things settled down a bit and he was able to help me. He remained completely pleasant and I appreciate his help. Wait time is long but that is to be expected seeing how busy they were.03/19/2019: I always give benefit of a doubt to people but in this case, I have to change my review from before and give them a 1 star. If I could give them lower than 1 star, I would. I have to agree to all the other reviews that gave this shop a terrible review - they are by far the worst shop I have ever gone to and unfortunately, had I known this I would not have purchased the Maintenance Plan or Warranty Tire plan through the selling dealership that actually told me the value of PepBoys. What a laugh!I had an appointment on Sunday 3/17/19 and they told me that itd take 3 hours to look at the tire and told me to go back at 5:30 pm as itd be done by then. Of course, I went back and thats when they told me that they were not able to look at the car and theyd like to keep it overnight, which of course I did.Avoid this shop at all cost. These are the pictures of the tire that they told me that they fixed. I drove off the lot and noticed on the gauge that it was indicating a 22 psi. I thought, okay, maybe just an anamoly or maybe they just did not put enough air into it. I went home, put air in it myself, and then this morning, I saw it like this. The same way that I had it before I took the car to them on Sunday 03/17/19.To make matter worse, they actually mischarged me twice yesterday when I went to pick up the car, and if I did not catch it, they would have not say anything. Twice I went back in and had them adjust the invoice because they charged me for a new tire plus oil change: A new tire that was never mounted and oil change that was part of the Maintenance Plan purchased through the selling dealership that sold the car to me.AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID.
This is the best garage I have ever been to in my entire life. Trust me when I say I would recommend this place to anyone. The people are so nice and professional. I told them I was in a hurry and needed my battery for my suburban changed. They accepted it without an appointment and did it in 15 minutes. The manager and the workers were so helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!! Definitely coming back here again

Took a wheel in to get the tire changed, kept getting told it will be tomorrow, eventually after 5 days got a call to say it was ready when we got there was told cannot put wheel on the car for you we are too busy you can come back tomorrow and we could try then . If this is a corporate company I will stay with independents from now on customer service is very very poor
I made qppointment at 10am and waiting until 12pm but they even have not started yet. So I asked give me a phone call once it has done and I spend time outside for 1 hour. Even they dont contact me for additional 1 hour and eventually they told me its done when I get to there. I totally spend 3 hours for engine oil change even I made appointment. I also asked to check tire pressure but they forgot. Terrible.
I needed to replace my brake pads, rotors, and calipers. Ultimately I had to replace my emergency brakes as well. I dealt with Adolpho mainly, but between him and the other staff members I was well cared for. With my age and disposition any positive experience is appreciated.
Bought new tires from them early this week, had them installed and aligned, everyone was great and did it in good time, although had some issues a few days later while trying to take the wheels off to replace my brakes, and thought they caused some issues when putting them on. I took it back in, they took them all off and took a look at it and took their time to fully explain what the issues I had were (which was no fault of theirs). Dave and Edgar were extremely great from start to end, I really appreciate all their help! Thanks again.

If I could give 0 I would..I went in couldnt get no one to help. Finally got someone and they couldnt help me with wipers. Im not sure if he just didnt know how to do his job or if he didnt understand my English. Said he would get someone else I waited 15 minutes and walked out.

This is a complaint of the poor service at the Germantown MD store. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for 9AM on Oct 15, 2020. Dropped off my 2006 Honda Odyssey van at 8:15AM to give them plenty of time. I was told my van would not be ready until the store closes at 7PM. That is 10 hours from my scheduled appointment. This is not acceptable.Update: I received an email at 7:30pm that the van was completed. Picked up the van the next morning. Checked the van and they didnt rotate the tires. Its hard to believe they did the free brake and vehicle inspection. Very disappointed :(
Sergio was SOOOO much help today. I had tons of questions about wheels and tires and he patiently gathered all the information I needed to make the best purchase. I couldn’t be happier with the service and based on his attitude, I’m excited to have my repairs done here as well. Thank you!
Scheduled an appointment online so all 4 tires would be in stock the next day. They were not. I was told that the tire was being delivered an it would be finished later that day, but I suggested that I pick up the vehicle the NEXT day to prevent a rush job. Arrived after 2 PM the next day and the vehicle was still not done because the tire just got there. A message would have been appreciated considering that they knew (they admitted) that the deliveries wouldnt be available until 2PM on that day.When the vehicle was confirmed done, they re-applied me for a financing credit card instead of using the temporary receipt from the application the day before. The new credit card kept getting denied and I was escalated to more knowledgable tellers (total of 3) up to the store manager. We called the credit card company which took about 30 minutes. The entire check out process took 1.5 hours. The vehicle was returned to me with grease streaks on the kick plate. The entire experience was amateur and unprofessional.Dont bother responding with your cookie-cutter reply to call customer care. Ive already sent in feedback.
This shop is only suitable for beaters and people with plenty of time to waste. I make an appointment for tire balance and alignment, and then Im told it when I show up it will take 3hr due to being behind. I wander around the shopping center for 2.5hr before coming back. The car is on the lift, but theyre only half way through, if that. Through the window I see the techs having a grand time enjoying their cell phones for extended periods of time. 🤔. When they are working, theyre bouncing the wheels off the ground from the lift. If you value your wheels appearance, look elsewhere.To make matters worse, the waiting area looks like its been last updated 15yr ago and the floor is sticky and has ants.This isnt the first time Ive experienced this miserable service here, but it will be the last.
Rebates, rebates, rebates - Horrible!!! I hate rebates at Pep Boys. I think they hope you forget or something. Its been over a month and no rebate yet, pending. Used to be good.Now, customer service is basically non existent.Dont bother ordering an item to be picked up in the store. They just wont fullfil it. Your order will be completely ignored.Get your item from the competition and save yourself time and trips.
Brought my Jetta here to have four tires installed. It’s a 2016 and I’ve never had any issues with it, but wanted to get new tires since I was nearing 60k miles. Told them I’d like to get it done before I have to drive to NC.Made an appt for 8 AM, got there to be told they were waiting on one tire. Went home and waited till the next afternoon.Come back the next day to drop it off, and they call to tell me one of my rims are bent. Never had an issue before. They say I have to buy a new rim.Came back the NEXT day because my steering wheel has a ton of vibration and noticed they put the old tire on another wheel, so was concerned things got mixed up. They didn’t tell me they had switched the bent rim to the back driver side now, and got frustrated with me for not knowing. Nobody told me anything until the end of the day after I dropped it off in the morning.Most likely, they bent my rim in the process of taking off the old tires. I NEVER had any issues beforehand and had taken it to the dealer a month earlier for an oil change and a overall checkup. They didn’t notice anything.Spent $700. Now another $200 for a rim and $100 for mounting and balancing. Don’t waste your money or time coming to this shop.
Kamal is always very helpful finding the items we need to fix the car. The passion he has for his work is always evident and makes me feel confident in the advice and tools we buy from here.
We were promptly served and helped by Scottie even though we came in with a diagnostic issue 1 hour before closing. His response was no problem we will try to get you squared away today. I would highly recommend them.

No point of making oil change appointment here.I called them on Sunday for oil change and they told me to book appointment. I booked appointment online for Tuesday 9:30 am. I went on Tuesday they said it’s not possible since reservoir is full.There has to be something to notify customers early if you cannot perform job. Please give some value to our time.
Great service. Really attentive team that gives you a great value. Parts/retail equally helpful. Would use for anything. And keep in mind they are open later than most places. Call for appointment if you can, but a great place and good option for the post 4 pm events (why do cars act up after 4 pm???)

This is the third time I have made an appointment with them and every time I get there they tell me there is no appointment and that I cant just walk in and need make an appointment ahead of time. This last time I spoke with Dave and apparently there isnt a Dave. I dont understand whats going on there, but it seems like only certain people can get help here. Rude and unhelpful. Never again.
Matt and David took care of me from the first call to my tire installation within 48 hours ( had to order my tires in otherwise it would have been faster!).Amazing! Definitely recommend.

I wrote a review about 6 months ago and gave this location a poor review due to the customer service. Well, I decided to give them another chance and thanks to a new customer service manager, David, my experience was the complete opposite of previous visits. My 1st appointment was on Monday and David informed me there would be quite a wait because they had 3 techs out. So he gave me a new date of Sat. My oil started to drop, so I made an appointment for Wed evening. When I arrived, David was there and said it might be a slight wait, but they would get it done. Giving your customers accurate info about the wait time and scope of service makes a big difference. Previously, they would take your keys then have you sitting there for hours. David has made a huge difference in the level of customer service, so Ill continue to bring my vehicle here for service. The techs have always been great, but now theres someone at the front counter who truly does value the customer . Thank you David.
Matt is an amazing guy. He knows his stuff and always pleased to help. I trust this shop for most of my car maintenance work (brakes, alignments, tires, oil changes, AC service etc.) and strongly recommend it.
Mathew was the Associate that took care of my car. My car had problems with the transmission. Even though, they were not able to fix it, the Associate made accurate suggestions. Overall, it was a fast and honest experience.

I’ve been coming to this location for years, they always have what I need or can prescribe the best solution for my problems. Scottie was very helpful this last visit in determining which tires are best for my wife’s suv. They were timely with their service and of course offered the best value. I will continue to come here for my automotive needs.

I arrived on time for my 2pm appointment for a battery installation, and they said it would be at least a 4 hour wait! I cancelled the order, and drove 3 miles to Advance Auto, where the sold and installed a battery with no wait.
Ive had a history of issues with scheduling at this place. Today I decided to give them another try and I had an appointment for an oil change. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes my car was still not even touched. after inquiring with a young lady at the front desk I was informed that it would be another hour before they touch it. It is very unprofessional to have your customers waiting indefinitely for hours for a simple oil change. Please make your appointments mean something and not just an arbitrary time. Also when asked to speak to the manager I was agreed with quite a bit of condescension from the young lady behind the counter. The manager seemed kind enough, but did nothing to correct the issue. I will not be bringing my business here as they do not respect your time nor value it.
I had a wonderful experience with The Germantown pep boys location. Specifically with a nice gentleman named Dave. He was able to take my car in the same day without an appointment and get it fixed by noon which was incredibly quick and convenient. Highly recommend coming here for your car problems/maintenance
Horrible service.They wouldnt patch a brand new tire that went flat. Told me store policy says we have to replace all four. I wont be going back.
I went there on a Tuesday morning and it was very quiet. The technician did a great job and had it done in a timely manner. I was made aware of things that needed to be done but felt no pressure. I recommend this location.
I want to say thank you to pep boys and their team, starting off with their amazing customer service, after such a long night of work. I came in for a oil change that was scheduled, sadly two Techs were out today but Scotty was so pleasant and helpful through the whole process, i also needed tires for my car, and they made the process so simple for me. Scotty even showed me where the damages were made in the tires which i found to be very professional. I want to thank all three workers that worked today with me at the front desk, y’all made my experience the best i have had in a very long time. I will be back. Keep the amazing work guys and don’t stop the sense of humor makes any bad day a great day.. great team i recommend them hands down.
New carpets in the break room we’re a nice upgrade. New manager seems to be making changes to improve the customer experience and overall store operation. Would definitely go back.
Would give it ZERO stars if I could. I called on Friday (5/17) to make an appointment to put new tires on my car (4 of them). They told me they had openings on Sunday (5/19) at either 10 am OR 11 am and insisted they could get it done. So I booked it for 11 am. Got here to drop off my car (about 5 after 11am). Told me it should be done in about an hour and a half and that they’d call me when it was done. Cool, so I decide to wait for it. THREE HOURS go by before I walk back to the shop and ask what’s going on with my servicing. Then I had the unpleasant misfortune of finding out that THEY HAD NOT YET BEGUN WORKING ON MY CAR (I AM NOT KIDDING)!!!! All I was offered was $20 off my alignment (the job costs $180)! I hope after writing this post they go out of business, by the looks of the reviews this place got, I assume I’m not alone. I’m writing this review from outside of the building while my car has just started (2:15pm). I WILL NOT be coming back to this dump. To any customers who are interested in bringing their car here to experience this service PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS!!! Hopefully you don’t end up wasting a beautiful Sunday in May on a horrible place like this. Thanks Pep Boys service center!

I had a bad experience with a company name Your mechanic. They come to the house and provide mechanic service to customers. This company called Your mechanic scammed me and install new front brakes pads on top of warped rotors. In addition, the company called Your Mechanic did a poor job inspecting my car.I was very upset because I felt scammed and mislead by the company called Your Mechanic. I went to Pep Boys and scheduled an appointment. Pep boys Matt introduced me to Dave who helped me with my car as I was very upset about my bad experience with the company called Your Mechanic. Dave arranged and scheduled professional mechanics Pep boys- Chrispin and Bill to repair my car correctly.My brakes were squealing loudly and scraping. Pep Boys mechanic Chrispin showed me all the problems with my back and front brakes. He also showed me how this company name Your mechanic put front brake pads on top of bad rotors. He also showed me my tire and the tire rim damaged. I appreciate that he took the time to show me these things. Chrispin completed the front and back brakes installation properly.Bill -Pep Boys mechanic installed my new tire and repaired the rim. I really appreciate Pep Boys Dave, Crispin, and Bill who assisted me with my car and ensured me that car will be repaired correctly. I learn no more mechanic mobile services and go to Pep Boys for brake repair services.
Scotty was very helpful. He was the last man on deck last night but he got all 4 tires installed and did his best to offer any discount he could. While we ran to get some supplies at the store next door. Great service on this occasion. Thank you Scotty.

Went in for brake service. Price was reasonable and I was in and out pretty quickly. Matt my service rep was great. He answered all my questions and. Add sure I got the best price.
During this difficult time, Pep Boys, and their Employee, Scotty, have been slammed due to being under staffed. Despite this, theyve provided me great customer and mechanical service. Theyve been easy to work with, patient and understanding, even while working under such stressful circumstances. Ill continue to bring them my business.
Ordered tires through amazon and paid for the installation service via Pep Boys. Had a scheduled appointment at 9:00 AM on Saturday. Lady at the front desk said there would be a 2 hour wait due to the number of customers ahead of me. Was a little sad to hear this because i had a 9:00 AM appointment, guess I misunderstood what an appointment was. Told them thats OK Ill go for a walk to chic-fil-a (2-miles away 30-40 min walk 1 way) grab breakfast and come back. Came back around 12:00 PM. Still see my car hasnt been touched, sit and wait an hour. Still car isnt touch, I ask someone what is the hold up. They inform me my car is next... Didnt get out of there until 3 PM. essentially ruining the rest my day as I had no other means of getting around.Ill say the employees were very polite but my 1-star is for the managing and handling of workloads. It should not take 6-hours to change a set of tires. Or they should mention the appointment is for a drop-off and not the time they will work on your car.
