This store fills a need in a heavily populated area. Among the usual hobby items, there is service for custom framing, plus cake decorating supplies and seasonal decorations for special holidays and events. Kids love to go to this store where they can find activities and crafts to take home.

Great big selection of arts and craft supplies. They always have seasonal decorations and crafts. You can usually find a coupon online for 20% off your purchase or 50% off an item. The order online and pickup in store has worked great for me too.

Michaels is definitely going downhill fast. We attempted to order canvases online and they just never got around to shipping them. We canceled the order and went into the store but they werent enforcing mask wearing so half the people were wandering around with no masks on even though its mandated in our area. The store clerks just didnt seem to care. Taking all of our business to Blick art supplies from now on.

Michaels is great. Tons of inventory for just about any project you can think of. Plenty of seasonal items in stock all year round. This location has plenty of parking and a friendly staff. Open everyday and plenty of hours each day. Reasonable prices too.

Always well stocked with all sorts of craft supplies. Making diy costumes and found everything I needed: fake flowers, foam, fabric, glue, cording, chains, battery operated lights, etc. I also appreciate there is a bathroom that customers can use!

My first time in this store. I approached 2 associates to help me find an item and they were so unwilling to help. This young man who literally stood at one place rudely said to me “well maam I have not seen anything of that sort in this store”. I move to the next aisle and there it was. Clearly i was racially profiled. Its a shame

I went to this store yesterday before closing nd yes before closing but it wasn’t a minute before closing it was around 10 minute before closing. When I go to the entrance door to enter the store they had already blocked the entrance with a shopping cart and had already locked it. This is unbelievable I looked at the time and it wasn’t even time to lock the doors. you can’t never deny service to a customer !! I knew I was entering at a wrong time but I wasn’t going to take no longer then a minute because I come to this store really often and I already know where the item I was looking was. it wasn’t going to take me less the 2 min to enter and leave the store. this is upsetting never coming here again. DONT COME HERE !!

Today, I picked up a framing project done by the Germantown Michaels. I am so pleased with it and the young lady who worked on it. This is not the first framing job I have had done there. Each time, I found that the personnel have been patient with what I know I want, and creative with what I dont know I want, and working together, the projects have turned out 100% terrific. Compared with another area frame shop, where I once strayed, the prices are more reasonable at Michaels and the outcome actually more satisfactory.

I can spend time easily in this store. When I go to this store its not generally because I need something specific but just go around in the store and try to get inspiration for a vast variety of home decor options that they have. They have got a pretty good collection of artificial flowers and plants for your home decor as compared to the other stores around in the area. One thing I personally love is the water fountain I got from this place. Adds a completely different dimension to your home decor. They also have a lot of accessories and must have items for baking and painting. They also do customised frames.

Would not recommend this location to anyone. Went in there to purchase picture frames and at the end of the transaction there computers froze. The payment had already gone through my account. Instead of letting me go they held me there for 40+ minutes while they were on the phone with IT. Cannot believe it took them 40 minutes to finally let me out of the store with my purchased item.

This store is close to my house, it is an small craft store, but I almost find everything I need in here. It is very clean and organized and employees are helpful when you ask a question.

Didnt have what was needed and asked 3 clerks about a zipper to replace in a coat, took the coat inside. They didnt have it and was not helpful to suggest any other options. Even if they didnt have it. I believe thats why a lot of people shop online

Never anything wrong with Michaels!!! They did keep the number of customers down due to COVID restrictions but if you want to stay six feet apart, its really difficult with the small aisles.

I like that it has nice watercolors for the beginners.

This place is out of stock on everything they need to stock back up.

Decently stocked, as far as any regular craft store goes. Over priced compared to online prices, but their coupons make it worth it (can sign up with email or the coupons that they send in the mail). Love that they offer additional 15% off with teacher ID! Always has something fun to find.

Disappointing. After waiting for the guy at the framing counter to finish whatever he was watching on his phone he made almost no effort to help us with our request. When asked for the basic economy price he tried to upsell us on options without telling. Well take our framing job elsewhere.

Front door was locked at 845, needed to run in for something quick and had to wait for someone to come out so we could get in. Staff brushed us off when we asked a question. However, they did have what we needed and we also had a coupon, so the price was worth going. Your results may vary, weve had friendly service here before...

Had all of the vinyl selections that I needed and I even perused the other aisles for pens and crafting goods. Some stuff (like the aforementioned vinyl) is a bit on the expensive side though. Checkout is right by the door and has never taken long for me to get out of the store. Always in and out. And the staff is amazing!

It is easy to find what you are looking for. Aisles are marked and products are of good quality. prices are competitive.

It is a lovely store with arts and crafts of all kinds. As a practitioner of Wicca (Witchcraft), I personally went looking to buy something that would assist with keeping my pentagram around my neck. I am happy to say that I found the perfect stran. If you are looking for Halloween decorations; Michaels is the perfect place. I love this store & intend to come back to have a Beautiful picture I had done in chalk of my wife framed & mated because of course you can have that done at Michaels as well.

Michaels is a great craft store. Very few professional art supplies such as professional paints, paper, etc. Fairly nice choice of student grade art supplies and good supply of paper crafting. They have a nice array of silk flowers and baskets for all your flower arrangements. They also have a frame department with special order framing, wedding supplies, yarn and accessories. Candle making kits and supplies. They also have various arts and crafts lessons I believe each Saturday. The framing department personnel is awesome! Im including a couple frame ideas they put together! Highly recommend.

Place is great. Offers a variety of items for arts, krafts and games for all age ranges. Four stars simply because it regularly takes a while to check out.

Its well supplied for a smaller store. They do a great job at flagging their sales items, so I bought more than I needed. 🤣 The 20% off nearly everything is fantastic as many items I want are rarely on sale. 😁

Clean store and nice staff. The crafts on Saturdays for the kids are always fun and affordable. There are always coupons available on their app. The only problem is the check out, on the weekends, there is always a huge line.

Prices are always pretty good. Seems like there is always a sale on the items you dont need and then when you do need that item, its not on sale anymore. But prices are good. People in general are helpful, or at least try to be. Fairly clean and orderly inside. Could use having more than one person at the registers, but even so, they seem to get them through pretty quick. Good place to go if you need a few lower end to medium end craft supplies, or decorations.

Understaffed is an understatement. I was here during what I guess is the after-work rush, about 4 pm. They only had 2 registers open for a line that nearly went from one end of the store to the other. I had to wait for more than 20 mins. While the cashiers themselves were efficient and pleasant, they needed at least one more register open during this time.

Michaels has some wonderful sales right now! There are two different crafts that Im interested in and wound up spending $80.They always seem to have everything I need and my wishlist keeps growing!

Great selection, but staff in the framing area seem to not want to be bothered, especially with order pick ups. The return process for online orders needs work. Even with a receipt, the cashier tried to give a store credit because the return was not accepted in the system.

Employees try to help customers to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately their abilities are very limited. It doesnt help that the store is constantly reorganized so sometimes you end up having no choice but to ask the employees where to find whatever youre looking for. But 90% of the time either the employees have no clue what youre talking about or that item just isnt sold there anymore, even if they had it in stock the day before. This is common place at every Michaels Ive been to, not just this one specifically so consider this a rating of the overall company rather than just this store.

Place is usually pretty quiet but always has what Im looking for. Phone signal is pretty good at this location which is a plus since I pull up the digital coupons on the Michaels website everytime Im in.Cashiers are really nice and plenty come to assist when a line starts building. I dont believe Ive every waited more than 4 minutes in line.

Brandon, the manager, treated me like a criminal for trying to make a return without a receipt. I shop at Michaels frequently and hardly EVER make returns (maybe once in the last 5 years for a canvas) which I’m sure he can see from my rewards history. Never have I been treated so rudely and feel publicly humiliated for something so stupid. I’ve reached out to corporate to address his behavior. What a jerk. He told me the quantity of my return was too much, so I asked if I could return any of it and he said no because I put it in a shopping cart? Literally wood pieces that are worth likely .50. Were not talking cricuts here. Probably would have had total return value of $20. Do not want to shop at this location again. Disgusting behavior and against your own corporate return policy.
