Bryan Maloy is awesome! Our AC went out on 100 degree weather and he came after hours, diagnosed the problem and had us a new unit in place pronto ( installed it on a SATURDAY ). He drove and picked the unit up himself!! He explained everything about what was going on along step by step! I learned more about ACs in a couple of days than most people will ever hear!! Nobody gives this kind of honest service anymore! I highly recommend him and will continue to use his services! Thank you Bryan!

We have used Amtech since we moved to Jarrell in 2015. About a week ago we had our ac go out and Bryan came out, discovered the problem, ordered the part we needed, but before he left made sure the air would work until the part came the next day. He gave us an estimate. The following day, he came back to install the new circuit board. Surprise! The estimate he gave turned out to be 150.00 less. He is the best. We are so very grateful to have him and his company in our life during these hot Texas summers.

We purchased a 100 year bar / dance hall and of course it didnt have central air or heat. Bryan gave me a proposal, within a few days we were enjoying cold air. He does a real good job explaining the costs up front and explaining the pros and cons when we discussed other options like a mini split versus a 3 ton unit for cooling the bedrooms. He goes above and beyond to make sure there are no hidden costs, you understand what youre getting, and you feel good when the experience is over. Its nice to be comfortable in your house, its even better when youre comfortable spending money, and you know where youre money went. Excellent service. Very professional, respectful guys. Pricing was average. They got the job done quickly and didnt leave a mess behind them. A professional, dependable, and diligent company. I have a very old unit that needed servicing. The Tech that showed up keep me well informed of the issue at hand. Not only did he find parts (new parts) for my OLD unit but he went above and beyond to insure the issue was fixed correctly. ( fixing a wiring job done by another company) I feel I was treated more then fair, absolutely no complaints with the service provided, and will most definitely use them again when I need ac services again. Bryan & his team are awesome. They saved a large 5 tonAmerican Standard Heat Pump that has never been right.Bryan found many things wrong, some with the mechanicals &many issues with the original install. Our system has never worked as good as it does now after Bryan & his folks went over it. When we decide to replace our system, it will for sure be from Amtech !Richard Floores

I contacted Amtech on Friday at 5pm and they were able to get a technician to my house early Saturday morning (as requested). The owner and technician were both knowledgeable and straightforward with me. I will use them again in the future.
I cant speak to anyone elses experience, but Ill give mine.It was fast, courteous, and authentic.The longer version : I called at 2:32 pm, Bryan came out to my place to check it out at 3:45, and my Air Conditioner was fixed by 4:50. Total turn around time from call to being fixed was under 2.5 hours.I asked a lot of questions about my AC, gained a lot of knowledge about how it works, and was given a fair price. There isnt much else you can ask for in my books.If youre looking for someone to fix your stuff and be real with you, Bryan (Owner) / Amtech is the way to go.
Brian Malloy and his team at Amtech just did an outstanding job replacing our old 5 ton unit with 2 new smaller units . They went the extra mile to get the HVAC in our late 70s 2-story correctly installed. It was a complicated install into an older house with lots of surprises. But there were no complaints or upcharges. I havent seen this kind of effort and attention-to-detail from a contractor before. They truly take pride in their work and wont settle for inferior or sloppy workmanship. And the price was lower than the other 2 estimates that I got! We couldnt be happier with the work that Amtech did.
These guys are straight shooters who treat you like family. They didnt try to wring my wallet dry, and in fact were by far the lowest price out of all the people I called (and I called several, including the guys who had inspected my system last year). I had to get my whole system replaced so I thought Id be in the poor house by the time it was done, but these guys gave me a very reasonable price and gave me a great system with excellent service. I told them they have a customer for life and I wasnt lying. I wont bother calling anyone else from now on. I will be recommending these guys to everyone I know. Thanks Bryan, Catfish, and Jordan!
I called this morning at 7:04am. I was encouraged by the “open 24 hours” and positive reviews that I had read. The phone was promptly answered after the first ring. I spoke to a male who said that he would call me back in 30 minutes. It has been over 6.5 hours and still no call back?! Extremely disappointed. I guess they don’t need my business. I have since called another local company.
Our upstairs AC was not cooling, and we called Amtech Mechanical. Bryan found the issue, and made the repairs for the price quoted. Very responsive and professional.

A/C unit was not cooling and outside unit was making a weird noise, like the fan was off balance. I was told by another company that I needed a new AC unit. Called Amtech for a 2nd opinion. First of all, the day I called it was sort of cool outside, so they preferred to wait a few day until the temp was in the 80s. Justin (or maybe it was Jordan, sorry I forgot), said the freon was slightly low, but everything else checked out. I showed him the invoice and recommendation from the other company AFTER he checked the unit (inside and outside), he said he didnt see anything that needed replacing, he suggested adding some freon to see if that worked. The unit stopped making a noise and started cooling immediately. $245.00 versus $6,500.00. Thank you Thank you!!!
I really cant say anything bad about this company. I called them the night before and explained what was occurring. They made arrangements to be out the next morning and on time with a $120 diagnostic fee. The tech went into the attic and came out saying the blower wheel and motor should be replaced. I had already price checked the parts needed at about $210 from Robert Madden which carried original OEM parts for the unit as opposed to aftermarket products. Tech said TTL $677 - Im sure there was some markup on the parts which is fair because they went and picked them up. Took him about 30 minutes to replace the parts. I would give them 4.75 stars, but it wont let me so well stick with 5 - if there was anything negative to say at all is I had to ask for the tech to hook up the meter to make sure the new parts were within the spec ranges of the unit. And Ill say this about the tech he didnt try to up sale anything or charge an unreasonable price for the work and he seemed to offer a fair, honest opinion about the problem and solution. Id use these guys again.
My home A/C died at 4pm when it was 103f outside. I spent an hour trying to get it to recycle and was unable to. At 5:21 PM I called this company based on the reviews I found here and the fact that they offered 24 hour service. I was told that they would be unable to have a technician out to the house until 10pm. I told them I would be here working outside and to please come by. At 9:20pm I came back inside the house, checked my phone, and found 4 messages all from 8:49pm to 9:03pm - 14 minutesIn that time frame they - #1 had a technician ready earlier than scheduled - #2 they wanted to confirm I still needed help - #3 they wanted to confirm my address - #4 they were unable to locate my address and would be sending their technician elsewhere - sorry for the inconvenience. I called back at 9:21pm - got a machine - got no reply - sent a text - got no reply - 10pm came - no technician, no callback, no air conditioningIts bad enough that they didnt come at the scheduled time, that they made little effort to locate my address ( it Google Maps prominently)if they did actually try to come, that they only had a 14 minute window before they moved on, that they didnt bother to reply to my call or text,or even that I had no air conditioning overnight, they wasted my ability to locate another service technician who could perform the repair tonight.If I could give them 0 stars I would. They didnt show up at the scheduled time, didnt show up at all, didnt reply to my messages and wasted my time waiting on them when someone else could have resolved my issue.
