With all the power going on and off this past week, we were having issues with resetting our garage door opener. I did some research and saw numerous recommendations.I gave them a call early afternoon and spoke with Cynthia. During this COVID pandemic it seems to have become the trend that its difficult to find companies that either do not respond or do not turn up when they promise. Absolute Garage doors have broken that trend. Firstly Cynthia is amazing. She responded almost immediately to my inquiry and provided pricing, advice and information almost instantly even into the evening. She responded so fast it was almost as if she was watching me write my emails, she is an amazing credit to Absolute Garage Doors. Then there is Woody who came out to do the measure, he turned up on time and even came out to do a temporary repair at no charge while we waited for our new door to be manufactured. Are they the cheapest I dont know and I dont care because when you get service like this it is priceless. They installed my door today and we love it. They have earned their place on my noticeboard of go to vendors that I will use in the future for all my garage door needs.

They are great to work with! Making an appointment was flexible, easy, and fast. They were able to assess the situation and talk over several flexible options in a no pressure style and worked quickly and efficiently to get the work done. I now know everything I can/need to do and they made it easy for me to want to give them all my garage door business going forward. Recently had trouble with a garage door opener and my garage door wouldn’t close. I called and they came right over. They arrived early, diagnosed the problem, explained what was wrong and how they were going to fix it, made the adjustments, visited briefly, and left. A perfect service call.

If you are looking for a business that has integrity and ethics, this is the place. I asked them to give a estimate to raise the height of the garage door header as the current door was not allowing entry of a recently acquired large vehicle. They promptly came out and after measuring the vehicle and the clearance, suggested that they felt the vehicle should clear the door, even though it would be very close. With some prompting/coaxing, despite reluctance on our part, the vehicle did clear and they gave some practical suggestions to make it work. We were expecting this project to cost a few thousand dollars and were pleasantly surprised with the outcome, to include the fact that they did not attempt to take advantage of our lack of knowledge. They would not even accept payment for a service call. Hats off to this business ; you renewed my faith that there are still some great and honest people wanting to serve others.

Absolute Garage (owner is Woody) installed a new LiftMaster garage door opening system and a gate opener at my place in 2018. Both items have been very reliable. Gate opener sometimes needs help closing when winds are above 20mph, but other than that I highly recommend Absolute Garage and LiftMaster products.

The employees and owners are very nice. I was given a fair price for my install and they did a fantastic job. I recommend them 100%.

I called about new garage doors on Thursday the 11th .Got a price in about 30 min. Asked when they could install them.Cynthia Asked when I wanted them .I asked if they worked on Saturday. She said they would .Saturday 13th they put them up. Cynthia and Woody were a Delight to Visit with. And yes they did a great job. Be careful. Called and explained that I had a broken spring. Explained that it is a 16 ft door with the two springs mounted on the wall in the middle of the door -not the kind with two springs attached on each side of the door. Lady quoted a price to replace both springs for $180 plus tax for parts and labor -turnkey. Repairman showed up (on time) and said she gave a price for springs that attached on each side. He said what I need would be $369. He called office and they said the cheapest they would do it for was $285. Dont know whether it was an honest mistake or was the typical bait and switch. I chose to find someone else and got both springs replaced for $185 (parts and labor).

My husband hit the garage door and knocked it off the tracks. It happend again recently, but decided to call another company that offered a free estimate. Price was at least 50% less using this other company and I thought they were a lot more through (greased the chain, put oil in tracks, tightened the screws, etc). Pretty much a tune up and didn’t upsell or overcharge. Work from this company was okay, but expensive and basic.
