What a knowledgeable and kind man. Sarkis has been a huge help after our boat was struck by lightning. Helping us solve a myriad of issues. We are extremely grateful and appreciative of his assistance.
I would be very careful when asking this company to do any work. When asked their hourly rate I was told $100 an hour but they left out the part where they charge you $100 for each way traveling from their shop. Sent me a technichian who on his card is listed as thier lead technichian and he didnt know they manufacture a 4 bank battery charger. Theyve only been doing so since the 90s?? Most people have electric screwdrivers to speed up the process but not this guy the old fashion way was just fine. a job to check my charging system and batteries that should have only taken an hour at the most took 2 hours. He answered personal calls while working and I did over hear him and his boss while he asked if it was normal to have a fuse box on a neg wire coming from a battery charger. I have 3 boats and all of the chargers have that feature. So in the end I had some corrosion in one of the fuse boxes that was causeing a 3/4 of a volt loss in charge. I asked if he had the parts to replace it he said he used the last one 4 days ago and didnt restock the truck but would be happy to make another appointment. So I ended up doing the work and got charged $200 for travel and $200 for labor for a total of $400 and a bad taste in my mouth. Guess its my fault for not ask more specific questions. you can make up your own mind if you want these people to work on your boat. they will never see mine again!!
