I have bought and sold quite a lot of vehicles in the last few years. This was by far the quickest and smoothest transaction Ive ever experienced at a dealership. What is even more surprising was they were extremely busy when I bought my vehicle. They had at least 20 other serious buyers waiting to buy. I thought it was going to be a typical day of waiting at the dealership, but to my surprise I spent less than 3 hours start to finish. All salesman I interacted with were polite and professional. My salesman was a younger guy named Dylan. He was a great salesman, patient, polite and there was no attempt to up sell me on anything more than I wanted. Also, whoever is working in their finance department was on top of it! Super quick, organized, and painless.. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I will definitely continue to do business with them in the future.

I had (literally) been searching across the country for a specific model and color combination for a few months. When the specific model showed up at Hewlett, I reached out to Gayland Moore, one of their sales reps, who quickly and kindly helped accomodate me despite being over 1,500 miles away. Gayland and the team at Hewlett made my experience a pleasure and they helped me virtually view and learn about the car since I could not visit in person.Throughout my purchase, the team continued to make my experience as simple and easy as possible. Price gouging on new cars - even on a basic Jetta, seriously? I thought Hewlett VW was a respectable business but not anymore. Shame.

Recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and found it to be one of the easiest, hassle free car buying experiences in my life. None of the usual nonsense typically found with dealerships. Worked with Jay Wilson who was a delight to deal with; honest and straightforward. I highly recommend this dealership and Jay in particular. Bought a Highlander from them in April 2021 and found out at the Toyota dealership in Round Rock today (6/21/21) that it needs $1200 in repairs to the ball joints. I certainly didn’t do anything to cause the damage, and the vehicle only has 33K miles on it so this wasn’t due to customary wear and tear, either. The Toyota dealer said the most likely cause of the damage was a lack of driving the vehicle causing the boots to become stiff. So the probable scenario is that the vehicle passed the mechanical inspection when it was traded in at Hewlett, sat on the lot for a while, and wasn’t checked again before it was sold to me.Never buying a car from these guys again.Editing to respond to the dealers comments:I will tell you again like I said on the phone and in the review here, I did not do anything to damage the vehicle despite your insistence to the contrary. Customary wear and tear would not account for this issue, the car only has 33K miles on it. A $1200 repair is not a minor mechanical issue, particularly when you consider that if there truly is an issue with the ball joints, a failure of the part results in loss of control of the vehicle. I drove that car to Florida with my entire family in it - my four-month-old daughter, my two-year-old son, my wife, and my wifes mom and aunt. I am incensed at the danger you potentially put us in all because you didnt do a simple once-over of the vehicle to make sure there was nothing leaking underneath before you sold it to us. This is negligence and laziness. My vehicle is proof you needed to do another inspection before that car left the lot.And dont even get me started on Ivan, pulling a scumbag move when we began signing paperwork - someone else is coming in to look at the vehicle well how convenient for Ivan, who assured us he didnt need to lie about it. His words, not mine.If you truly want to help like you say, then youre more than welcome to cover the cost of the deductible for the warranty work - $200.You guys have more than earned the one star you got here, and you only got one star because leaving no stars wasnt an option.

Great dealership experience. I wasnt really looking for a new car but they had a car on their lot and decided to check it out. Test drove it and loved it (even though it isnt a VW). Drew is an amazing salesman and wasnt pushy or made me feel uncomfortable at all. The whole process was easy and fast. Definitely ask for Drew and get a great experience from him.

Brought my vehicle in to replace the battery. Problem with the front tire was noted, service team showed where the problem was. Worked tirelessly to obtain the replacement I needed to my satisfaction.

Took my car in for warranty work. Got a call they could not duplicate the issue. I told the guy I worked in Temple and could not get there before service closed. He told me I could come anytime the dealership was open since it was no charge. I got there on a Saturday at 715 and the door was open so I went in. The girl behind the counter tells me they dont open until 730 and to come back after 730. So why were the doors open? I come back and it is a guy thus time. He gets my keys and tells me the total is $162.00. I asked him what for since it was warranty. (I have 100k mile bumper to bumper) the guy says well my techs could not figure it out so I need to pay for their time. I told him no charges were approved as it was under warranty. After going back and forth the guy THREW my key at me and said I am not going to argue with you. I will say I have bought 2 vehicles here in the past 3 years. and was about to buy our son one there as well. We will not be returning to this dealership EVER! I will buy and service my vehicles elsewhere. Hewlett you need to train your staff on customer service.

I brought my Passat here to have some repair work done, and clear up some long-neglected recall items that needed attention. The staff was very courteous and kept me updated every step of the way, taking care of all of the issues quickly. I needed shuttle service to get to work and back to the dealership. My drivers both times were very safe and gave me a very nice ride. The cost of repairs was a lot less than I was expecting, too.I would recommend making an appointment for service here as they do get pretty busy, and if you are needing Volkswagen service, I would gladly recommend a visit here.

Mr. Weldon did a truly great job from the beginning to give me the estimate waiting time and directing me to the waiting area, the waiting area looked clean and with poster reminding people to wear face mask and provide hand sanitizer in the hallway and so on, in the end my car had been cleaned, Its awesome. I had such a great experience purchasing a new vehicle from Hewlett VW. My sales person was Ivan. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and hardworking. He made sure I got a deal I can live with and got me into my dream car. I wish I would have gotten the finance managers name, but he was amazing and went above and beyond to get me into my car. I highly encourage everyone to go see Ivan and purchase a vehicle.

Im giving two stars because the sales manager was extremely condescending over spilt cheese we didnt see until we pulled a car seat out. He spoke to my husband like a 6 year old child.I will say Ivan was absolutely amazing and we loved him as our salesperson. We love the car. The sales manager just needs some people skills.

Went to buy a new vehicle, selected a vehicle, sat down and agreed to a sales price with the sales rep. I was approved for a auto loan with a great interest rate from my credit union prior to going to dealership and when I mentioned the pre-approved loan the salesman pushed to use their in-house financing. After I kindly declined their financing the salesman went to talk to someone and came back. He informed me that his boss told him I had to use their financing or they would not sell me the vehicle. No where in that building does it say it is mandatory to use their financing to purchase a vehicle. I left quite irritated and discriminated. I went to Charles Maund Volkswagen dealership and had no problems purchasing a new vehicle. Maund sales rep was shocked at poor service I received at Hewlett Volkswagen in Georgetown as was I.

I recently purchased a used car from Hewlett. I worked with Santos, who was very easy to work with. I wanted to trade in my lease two months early, in which Santos, and the dealership, worked it out where I purchased the car at a fair price, received a more-than-fair trade-in value, and paid less in lease turn-in fees than if I had just gave the car back! I also came prepared with a knowledge of my financials, and a down payment that was consistent with the price of the car I purchased, which meant I didnt spend a lot of time to purchase the car. The finance manager allowed me to review the financing, and answered my questions properly. The rate provided was competitive with other banks and credit unions. We have bought 2 VWs from Hewlett. A used 2014 Golf GTI and a 2021 Jetta GLI and both times, the salesperson made the whole thing so much less stressful than any other place we have gone (same sales person both times). Even during the finance portion, it was no bs and virtually stress free. If the service department is same, I cant see us ever going someplace else for future purchases

Amazing service from when I pulled up until I left. Did the full 20k service in a very short amount of time. What was absolutely amazing was that they found that previous owner of car (I am second owner), had purchased all services up to 70k. So instead of the usual service person coming over with so we found this out about your car... it will cost 500 bucks I got you dont have to pay anything, and we are going to do more than you came in for. That was great.

Went for Service, spent $800. The tire valve cap is missing...First time I went there, they filled my tires with air even though there are green caps that indicate that they are filled with Nitrogen.For the price they charge, I expect better attention to detail. Would not recommend.

Always worth the drive up there for excellence in every dimension... Im not a car person and trust their advice at every step of the way. It just makes it easy. Service center always fast, professional, and again isnt trying to sell you stuff you dont need... This is a golden example of good car dealerships and will certainly endure even with the disruption from Tesla moving away from dealerships. They definitely are adding value to their customers.

Do not trust this place with your car. It took them 2 and a half hours to change my tire, then when i finally got my car back I noticed they messed with my amp and speakers . A TIRE AND CAR AMP ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. anywho, now my speakers no longer work. risk it if you want to.

I bought a 2013 VW Certified Golf TDI March of 2020. My salesman was very easy to work with and told me all about the car. He even explained to me that the car was in a very minor rear-end collision but nothing to worry about. The car has passed all of the VW requirments and is a VW Certified car.Then comes the day I took my Golf into AUTOBAHN VW in Ft.Worth with an electrical issue. The service writer calls and says no repair cost will be covered by the warranty due to the collision that I was told not to worry about. I immediately called Hewlett VW and salesman wasnt available so I was forwarded to Paul the Finance / Warranty person and left a message. 5 weeks later still no response. So BEWARE!

WHAT A SCAM . First off, they ran my credit 30 times........... and ran it the NEXT DAY I literally had to call and tell them to stop.This guy didn’t know what he was doing. Once we started talking numbers he kept reassuring that I didn’t know my credit score and they were pulling numbers almost 50 points lower. Would not budge $500 to make a deal and then said they wouldn’t accept a bank out of state(?) ok.... the next day I talked to my bank and they pulled my credit score and it was HIGHER than what I initially thought. Overall what a negative experience and place. I would rather crawl than buy a car from them

We drove over 40 miles and bypassed two other closer VW dealerships because of Parker Witte who provided an excellent assistance with VW test driving over two years ago. I made a phone call to Parker when I found out he is now working in Hewlett Volkswagen. He set us up with a sales representative Mike Torres as soon as we walked into Hewlett VW showroom.Mike directed us with our requested model, VW Golf GTI SE, and he made everything very simple and easy for us from providing information, test driving, price negotiation, and trade in our old VW Golf.Previously, we did not think we will be able to find a car we want, purchase it, and take it home the same day, but Parker and Mike made all of these possible for us. I would really like to thank both of them for making the car buying process as a pleasant experience.We would recommend the Hewlett VW for friends and family members specially referring them to excellent people like Parker Witte and Mike Torres.

Received a recall notice for my 2013 Volkswagen Passat. Hewlett Volkswagen was the closest dealer to my home in Leander. I am so glad I went to this dealer. They were so nice and I didnt even have to make an appointment plus I got a complimentary car wash & vacuum. I have only been to one other Volkswagen dealer since I purchased this car. They were in Austin (will not mention the name) but I was not impressed. I will definitely return to Hewlett Volkswagen.

Happy with my car, its a cute little fiat that runs smoothly. Paid full price for it and it was absolutely worth it. Mike Torres sold it to me and he was sweet and helpful!Where my disappointment comes in is the *over 3 months* of waiting for my plates to arrive. I was NEVER contacted at any point about this complication...I had to reach out to Hewlett VW multiple times to get a clear answer on what was happening, and even now all Ive been told is that it wasnt on my end...which I already knew. I had to drive out to Georgetown again (I dont live there) just to pick up a second temporary plate, and when I asked if this happened fairly often, the gentleman who attached my second temporary said Ive never seen this before. ...Great.Not sure if my paperwork just got buried or what, but I would have appreciated being contacted at least ONCE about it, instead of being left in the dark about issues not on my end.Today I once again reached out..I called and asked who I could speak to about my title status, to which the front desk woman responded QUITE facetiously, Well that would be the bank. Uh. No hun. I understand how titles work. But thank you for the completely unhelpful guidance...she then proceeded to list off every person there, as if I should just know who to talk to about this. If I had just been contacted first, I would never have had to talk to this woman which put me in quite a foul mood. Like..excuse me for asking for help?? Not sure why she felt like I deserved the sarcasm and tone, but wow. Icing on the cake of the customer service here.Thankfully there are a few people at the dealership who actually cared about my situation, because she clearly didnt know or care. As soon as she transferred me I was actually talking to someone professional, who informed me of where my plates were and that they would personally mail them to me today. I wish I hadnt been so frustrated by this point because it was the first time I wasnt given the runaround. But seriously..yall need a kinder front desk person, and a more active outreach system, because it has been like chasing ghosts trying to get any sort of clear answer about this problem, and to be talked to that way by the first person who answers the phone when I just want some sort of direction is absolutely unneccessary and plain rude. My plates are finally being mailed to me, but Im fairly confident if I hadnt called today this would not be the case.I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else, and I hope that if it does happen, they are provided with more help and consideration than I was. I would maybe even skip the help desk altogether and directly call the salesman who sold the car to you, and call them daily until youre given an answer/solution. Otherwise expect nothing but a lot of sarcasm and impatience from someone who clearly hates her job.

As it turns out, worst car buying experience ever. Unmotivated junior level staff (misogynists, talking down to women) and management that prefers to argue with customers versus work positively to resolve a problem. Go to some other VW dealership, like Austin or Waco.

Aaron in service is amazing, got me in the same day and fixed my car. Most dealerships need several days for scheduling but Aaron got it done. Fantastic customer service even was willing to text message me. Service will only be done here going forward!!!!

Hopefully his manager is on board with the price you are looking for.. Nice little lounge area while you wait for you vehicle to get what needs to be done.

Best service department ever. As always my Service point of contact Raymond was on the ball. We had previously discussed tires and when I got the notice about buy 3 get 1 free I called and left him a message to tell him I was interested. He called me back with the top 3 choices and since he remembers me every time, knew exactly what I was after. When I returned the call he was out and the woman who helped me was very friendly and set up my appointment. My new tires are great and my car came back clean and vacuumed in the front...which always makes me smile. Raymond is by far the most on top of it service person I have ever encountered in my 20+ years of driving. My life partner, Norman, likes to find the best deals on parts and service and Hewlett is always competitive at the least...with that plus Raymonds excellent customer service I never want to take my car anywhere else. He even remembers the name my daughter calls our car. Bluey. Someone should give that man an award. Thanks!

Love it here. The Service department staff is alway really helpful. Aaron Leal and Ty were very professional and knowledgable, and kept me updated every step of the process. I live in Austin but I make the drive to Georgetown because I know this VW store will always deliver the best service.

Excellent sales and service!We purchased a new 2019 Atlas Premium from Hewlett and were very satisfied with the entire sales experience. Jay Wilson is very knowledgeable about the products at this dealership AND he is quite personable! The team (sales and finance) involved in this transaction were all very professional. An issue was discovered right before we drove off the lot and Jay contacted me the next business day to make the arrangements to get the Atlas back to them so they could correct the issue. Tyler was our service coordinator and he too was outstanding! He kept us informed every step of the way and made sure we were satisfied with the steps taken to resolve the issue.
