Tried to buy a new 70 TV. Could not get anyone to help. Asked the guy at the front podium three times. Still no one. I understand everywhere is shot staffed, but after an hour and twenty minutes I left to go somewhere else. Probably will not be coming back to this location.

Not too busy. We looked for only a computer screen but not one salesperson asked if we needed anything. They just walked right around looking busy or dusting..the checkout area was the only communication we had and he was great..other than that theyre usually stocked etc. Another time we needed a water filter for fridge. A guy was on his private computer and seemed bothered he had to leave his station to check if it was the right one for our model..checking out was easy once again.

What can I say, its a Best Buy (for better or worse).Basically, if I need to see something in person, or Amazon screws up, I go to Best Buy (used to be Frys, but...alas).This is a well placed Best Buy in that its easy to get to, lots of parking, etc.I was greeted with a friendly smile. I was asked twice if I needed any help. And they had the product I needed.Overall, great experience and will definitely return (as needed) in the future.

Excellently staffed in all departments. Just amazing. This particular store has helped my husband and I in our real estate business with tracking down appliances and getting them to our projects. We’ve used the cell phone / electronic department on multiple occasions and have always felt welcome and taken care of. I’ve seen some instances where customers are in a rush or just tired of waiting their turn and the employees are always patient and kind in return. Even when not being treated very kindly by the customer. Just outstanding customer care. A couple of standout employees are Ace and Edgar. Even the management here is ready to step up and give customers a great experience. All around pleasant place to shop. I highly recommend this location.

I am glad to see more computer parts to choose from but it seems like product selection in the store overall is going down which is worrisome. Not sure if this is related to the pandemic or a gradual shift to online vending but there are not many places left to get hands on with electronics these days.

For a place that was considered dead just a year ago Best Buy Dart was rejuvenated by the pandemic. If anyone benefited from covid-19 it was your neighborhood Best Buy. They have mastered the curbside pickup and even the in-store experience has gotten better.

The guy in the install bay did a fantastic job on installing my Dads new system into his 2009 Ford F150! He was super helpful and did a fantastic job with the installation (looks factory) and even showed him how the head unit worked. My Dad is so happy now with his new stereo unit in his truck! I was a long time fan of Frys from the time they opened in Dallas with the cows for their gimmick...Anything I needed in the realm of computers or Electronics or gadgets or wingdings or widgets, I knew that I could go to Frys and they would always have it.I would go to Best Buy, occasionally, because it happened to be located more closely to where I was at that moment.I was shocked to realize that Frys was dead!At least in Texas. This is one of the smallest Best Buys I have ever been to but they follow the standard lay-out you expect in their stores. The staff was helpful but they do seem to have some trouble keeping things in stock. Its worth noting that this review is made when COVID shortages are an issue but this stores stock issues seem a bit beyond what I see in other Best Buys and tech stores leading me to believe they could improve on their logistics at this location.

Georgetown, TXI purchased an open box TV online for store pick up. I picked it up around 7PM and went straight home. I took it out of the box, removed the plastic off of it, and saw that it had a cracked screen. Very Cracked!! I immediately called the store and was told they were not accepting calls at this time by an auto-attendant. The time was 7:50PM. I was finally transferred through to an operator. I explained the situation and told the person that I wanted it documented. I was assured that I would not have any problems returning it. After work today I returned to the store to return the TV. I told them it had a cracked screen. They unboxed it (breaking the Styrofoam while doing so) and called over the Manager (Taiwana Wade). She glanced at the TV and immediately told me that they did not sell it to me in that condition. I hit the roof and argued with her that it had been in my possession for less than 30 minutes when I called Best Buy and let them know it was cracked. She refused to even listen to what I had to say. All I wanted was a replacement. I called corporate to complain and their solution was for me to ship the TV to their warehouse and wait for reimbursement. I have been an elite customer of Best Buy, thats there word, not mine, and expected better treatment then to be essentially called a liar. As the Systems Admin for a local company, I have also made purchases of around 15,000.00 just in the last two months. That all stops today. Ill get what I need from Amazon or Sams Club from now on.

After kicking myself for missing that deal on the very item I ordered, I decided to go into the store and ask if theyd honor the reward. Terrible to do business with. Paid to have tv’s mounted and waited all day Saturday to have it done. When no one showed up we started calling store only to find out that the stores don’t have ability to answer calls. Finally at 4:00 pm two men came and drilled 3 holes in our wall, hung tv crooked on the wall then tell us they are not employed by Best Buy-they are third partY contractors. Have had 3 people out to try to fix but nothing done other than to put more holes in wall. Filed many complaints with them and they won’t pay to get wall fixed and painted. Time to get attorney involved. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Has the worse customer service known to man. They do not actually care if you are a satisfied customer or not they will robotically repeat the same 3 lines and offer no solutions to your problem and shut down immediately when you tell them something is wrong. They are unable to do anything more than sit there and tell you you are doing something wrong because other people could do it right. Even if you show them the problem that is happening.

We were pleasantly greeted as we entered the front door and asked if we needed help finding anything. We told the associate that we were looking for a modem/router. His next question was do you have Suddenlink?. Bingo! How would he know if half of Georgetown hadnt already been there looking to replace Suddenlinks faulty equipment with something that actually works. Best Buy even has an aisle of modems and other electronic parts that are compatible with Suddenlink systems right up front so angry and frustrated Suddenlink customers dont have far to go to get quality replacement parts. In less than 10 minutes we had what we needed and were headed back home to fix what hours and hours of failed customer service with Suddenlink couldnt. Thanks Best Buy!

Ordered a Microwave for installation in 2 weeks. Later; Best Buy delayed installation for 1 month. A month later, they confirmed twice for delivery and installation on 1/22/2021. On 1/22/2021 no one showed nor called. When I called the store they forwarded the call to a corporate agent who stated the microwave was at the store. That took 47 minutes on the phone. I when to the store a front desk employee said the microwave was back ordered another month. I cancelled the order they did not give me a full refund. Best Buy Georgetown Texas is incompetent.

This is an okay Best Buy, they have good stock. My biggest issue is that whenever I order something for pick-up and then go into the store to get it then they seem to have a hard time finding it. First, it usually takes about 5 minutes of them searching for the order # in the computer and then sometimes they have a hard time finding which storage cage the item is. One time I even got some sass from one of the employees - What is it? Oh I thought you said it was something else when they couldnt find it...come on, you can see right on the computer what the item is.

I scheduled an appointment for Bestbuy to do a service today. There was confusion as to what that service was, but as a total tech support member both services were free. They made me reschedule to have the service done anyway. Total Tech Support put me on hold for over 30 mins and counting without telling me how long Id be on hold for.So I wrote this review to share my dissatisfaction with the situation while on hold. Minimizing how much more time of mine they were wasting. Call your total tech support after getting it and turn off auto renewal the day you get it, the service is definitely not worth continuing past the first year at $199.99 a year. It is worth the initial discount in some cases, but honestly you are probably better off with Costco.

October 23, 2021 - I am updating my review to say how amazed I am that Best Buy has remained relevant through the pandemic. Selection is robust and prices better now than when they were during the pandemic. I bought a Samsung 65 yesterday, Sales person Sebastian was excellent. Appreciated his knowledge, seeking out others in the store to provide assistance when needed and his generally overall professional and jovial character. He was a breath of fresh air in our visit yesterday.3yrs AGO. Good selections generally as they have downsized.

I bought an entertainment center online and I should have done some research prior but I went in the store after finding out I needed to purchase a separate receiver for it and Gary helped me out so much! He educated me on the system I already bought and helped me find a system to really fit our needs. We ended up returning the one we just bought and purchasing a different one. I should have just come in the store the first time. Gary had so much patience and really went the extra mile to help us!!Great customer service is an awesome thing especially in times like these !

Deceptive trade practices. Brought a repairable phone to them to have a screen replaced. Low and behold, the so called geek squad said it wasnt repairable.This is why A-1 Smartphone has taken Best of Georgetown from the geek squad,. Instead of taking advantage of people, we actually repair electronics @ A-1. What is funny is that the geek squad couldnt fix a bent straw. Watching the geek squad fix something is like living the IQ scene of Idiocracy and being Joe Bowers

I have never been more frustrated with a website in my life (or long time). I made a in store appointment to have a radio installed. I must admit, I waited to late to order my radio and equipment cause I did not think they would be out of stock. My appointment was on the 22nd of April. Upon ordering my radio, all the piece was available for pick up on the 18th of April except for the dash kit, which stated for the 24th of April. Then it takes me through the ordering process. My thing is why is it asking me to make an appointment, when I clearly had one for the 22nd.? Now im forced to make an appointment just so I can see my order. I didnt know if it was being shipped or picked up.Now I made an appointment for the 29th, so now I go back to check my order status, they done pushed it from the 18th to now processing for the 29th....WHY? I was fine with picking it up on the 18th in spite of and had fingers crossed that the dash would also arrive before the 22nd. I just cancelled the appointment. Whoever is controlling they website need to make sure the system recognizes appointments already schedule under the same information thats on my profile and bypass that process. Its confusing and frustrating and Ill never use they website to schedule nor by anything else. Ill go inside the store. RIDICULOUS. I almost just want to cancel everything.

The Best Place to shop for just about everything. Have bought my last printer there when most every where else was sold out, and it also on sale! Just bought Big Bang seasons 11 and 12 on Blue ray for $20, that is for both, not a piece! Whenever I need printer ink, they will match the best prices. Bought my Panasonic Plasma TV there shows how long I have been going. Lookiy to buy my next TV come Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

We bought a service plan at Best Buy. We have taken two different tablets at different times to be fixed, but each time we are told that the tablets are not worth fixing. Both Samsung Tab A tablets were about a year old. Best But service plan was a waste of money.

I bought a washer and dryer here, and I was told that I would have to wait from 7am to 1pm for the delivery. I thought this was a bit odd—since I have only been given a window with cable companies—but I accepted nonetheless. I should have known that something was up; the day of the delivery, the installers never showed up, and when I went to Best Buy, customer service insisted that it wasn’t their fault because the installation is with a third party (I could also hear another customer complaining with the same problem and receiving the same answer while I was in store). I’m a student, I had to put off my job and classes for the day to deal with this, I can’t wait around forever for the chance that the installers *might* show up. If the company you’re working with isn’t doing their job, pick different one, Best Buy.

The store is open and they seemed to be taking precautions to keep people safe, but thats about the extent of the good things. Employees, although they looked friendly and all, werent too helpful away from their desks. I dont know if guidance was given to not stray to far from the safety of their desk or whatnot, but I found myself walking through different sections just to see if someone would come up to me to offer assistance, but they didnt. The other down side, and I understand COVID, but their stock left a lot to be desired. I ended up leaving without making a purchase simply because of how unsatisfied I was. I do wish you better luck at this location.

Getting assistance at this location can be difficult. At one point, I stopped an employee to ask if he could help me find someone and his response was everyone is busy, youll just have to wait. I get that it can be busy but that is NOT how you reply to a customer. I knew exactly what I needed and just needed a cabinet unlocked to get it. I had already been waiting 15 minutes trying to flag people down. You know who ended up helping me? The lovey employee at the entrance who flagged down one of her colleagues and pointed them in my direction. Its sad that the person working the front door will do more for a paying customer than anyone walking the floor. All I needed was someone with a key.

Turned in a surface pro for repair with keyboard and charger. they sent back only the tablet portion, went in to see where my peripherals went and they cant find them. they promised to get back with me after getting with the repair center to track them down and have never called me or emailed me back in over a month. this is about 220$ worth of parts they lost.worst customer service ever, stay away from this store.

During this time, Customer Service should be at the forefront of businesses. Unfortunately, this is not the case for the Best Buy at Wolf Ranch. The BB is open from 10 to 6 during this difficult time which it is difficult to make it before they close. However, I rushed to the store and arrive 15 minutes before 6 knowing they close at 6 but my phone had broken and I wanted to purchase a new one. I was greeted at the door by a manger saying you have 12 mins and we are closing. Walk to the cell phone counter and no one is there so the sales guy yelled saying do you need help? I said yes, I need to purchase a cell phone. He said I am sorry but I cannot help you we are closing in 6 mins and I already have a customer. You will have to come back tomorrow. Well they just missed out on a $1,300 purchase!

This rating is for the Geek Squad area only. I took a Mac book pro in 11-24 to have them back out of an auto update it had done. I needed my QB 2016 software restored. They never called. I would go in and they would need mor information and I would get it for them. I asked the tech to call me and let me know if it was working or not. Again no call back. I went in on wed the 3 to pick it up. Still not ready. I talked to the Geek squad mgr. She really was not very helpful. I finally picked it up 2 days later and was just handed the computer and the external hard drive. It still did not work right and I waited on the phone for 30 min for the store to answer. I finally called Geek Squad on line and 2 hours later he has it working. What a mess.
