Ive been going to this place for years... The employees are happy, helpful and the set up is clean and labeled. The descriptions below the products are extremely witty and fun to read. Anything can be found here: from drill bits to office supplies to ready-to-amputate frogs to rocks and gems to... I think you get the point. If you ever drive near this place, I 100% believe that you should park, walk in, and browse.Seriously, guys, this place is amazing!

Absolutely a new re-discovered place to shop and soon to be on the banned list by my SO without proper adult supervision because I will (waste too much money here if allowed to browse by myself). Quirky assortment of off beat stuff, an electronic tinkers dream(former ham operator and tube amplifier builder) and the hugest assortment of anyplace Ive ever seen of educational toys including now out of business AO Schwartz. All age groups.Do not miss thier electronic you sets including the robotics and solar ones.My youngest grand daughter 3 1/2 y/o but that STEM geek will be getting bday Christmas presents from heretofore.Accomplished my goal for Halloween to circumvent very restrictive social distancing Halloween trick or treat rules.Im now the proud owner of working scale models of a Davinci designed trebochet and surge catapult plus an airzooka.Originally went in looking fo components for an air cannon I could hook up to an compressor. The buys will work better with less chance of Naperville PD visit for noise complaints. (Too many old cat fanciers with too many cats each.

This place is the funest place to go. Both Adult and Child will enjoy the whitty humor peppered throughout the store. This is a must stop on those family road trip days. Expect to maybe lose yourself for a long time looking at all the amazing items they have under one roof. Its like a Souvenir Store except theres no major attraction nearby. So that makes it a DESTINATION. Go there. Its fun. Be warned though... Theyre strict with the covid attendance. Expect a 20 min wait in line to get in sometimes.

I saw a guy buying about 6 different kinds of test tubes today. We ended up with a tyvek suit, a miniature rubber chicken, and some hand towels the size of lozenges (and more). If I won the lottery, this might be the first place I visited. Theres so much weird stuff and where other stores had missing stock due to covid-19, American science and surplus seems to have no issue with supply. I was appreciative that they only allow 15 people in the store at a time during this pandemic because it would be weird for a science-based store to ignore science. Plus, the people who work there are always nice. My son had an excellent first experience and it seemed like everyone else there was having similar luck.

There is something for all types of science experiments and interesting gifts. We werent able to buy everything we wanted, and it wasnt because of the cost of items. I came across the store from a referral by a Target employee. I drove up and parked, walked in. The place is amazing in that it has thousands of science, mechanical, fix-it and random items for sale. I love science gadgets, so I had a lot of fun shopping here. The prices are so cheap that it was almost a puzzling experience when the cashier rang up my order. I only wish this store was located in a more visible part of town - so that more people would know about it. If you like science and gadgets, come here.

We visit maybe once per year. A fun place to look around. Never a dull time - bring the kids or grandkids and browse amongst new stuff, fairly new stuff, older stuff and very ancient & decrepit stuff with 8-1/2 years of accumulated fuzz & dust. Sometimes we find something to buy (like an owl pellet for dissection, miniature wrench set, a geode or prism, a cool new science gadget, or a tub of 50 ballpoint pens with mismatched logos...) or something we would NEVER buy (a Hungarian army helmet, an old fashioned school days red fire alarm switch, a hopefully-new lab coat, a dusty roll of carpet tape?) At any rate, spend a fun hour perusing and rooting around. Staff are friendly, prices reasonable.
