Very impressed with the two gentlemen that installed our new kitchen counters. The craftsmanship on the cutting is excellent. The smallest details are perfect. Marvelous job and we couldn’t be happier.

Do not ever use this place. It took a whole month to fabricate and install my slab eccentric though the slab was in stock. And then after I signed the contract I learned they won’t remove or reinstall the faucet.I’ve had granite placed in my houses 3 times before and all of them removed and replaced my faucet no extra charge. With GMT you have to spend an extra $300 on a plumber to remove and replace the faucet. Go somewhere where they remove and replace the faucet at no cost.

I had my kitchen and 2 vanities fabricated and installed back in 2004. Flawless job and great experience working with the staff there. Im back again to get my Bar Top made, and considering this new quartzite material called Ice Berg. It looks like a slab of translucent solid crystal. I took a picture of the vanity in their showroom made from Quartzite to show everyone.

Called to have a seam fixed in our granite as we were renovating our own kitchen and didn’t have the knowledge to do this on our own. We were able to get in the schedule within a week. The two gentleman who came out were extremely knowledgeable and skilled in what they do. Our seam looks absolutely perfect, they did an incredible job. Not only were they skilled but also very friendly. Would use this company again for any future needs.

This review is long overdue! I have had the pleasure of working with Tom Koessler not once but twice when replacing countertops in my home. He is so very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and take great pride in making sure you understand the differences between the products and knowing your happy with your selections. Tom worked extra hard to secure a quartzite piece I was interested in. The showroom is very nice and everyone I came in contact with at Marble & Granite Tech, Inc were so pleasant and knowledgeable to deal with. Thumbs up! For our kitchen remodel, I did not only do my homework on quartz but also did much work researching local fabricators. My husband was also very critical in his analysis, and after eliminating several options over the course of 3 weeks, we finally decided on working with Marble & Granite Tech. Their staff was accommodating and professional through the whole process. Marble & Granite Tech also had an extensive selection of quartz brands and countless colors to choose from, in the end, we decided to go with a quartz color they recommended, I forget the name of the maufuacter, but we appreciated it the quartz we choose being produced in America.After a slightly more difficult than standard installation, there were a few issues and one of Marble & Granite Techs managers was responsive and came to assess and resolve the situation personally. He thoroughly addressed all the minor problems we had and worked with us to make sure we were satisfied. Based on our experience we highly recommend working with Marble & Granite Tech!

MGT did a great job with our counters! We had slabs that came in damaged and they were immediately on top of the supplier to find us new pieces. Frank worked magic as one slab we found was perfect but size did not allow for any wiggle room. We are very pleased with how they all turned out. They responded quickly when we had questions and have been extremely helpful with this project. I would recommend them and use them again in the future. Thank you MGT!

We were updating our kitchen with new quartz counter tops, new sink/faucet, new backsplash, new appliances including replacing a dishwasher, new slide in stove with a new ventilation hood above, and modify the island with waterfall quartz panels. We had no problem buying our new appliances from a local store. Now on for the search for our new quartz countertops, we have always wanted. We got quotes from 3 mostly five-star companies, including Marble & Granite Tech. Marble & Granite Tech was the highest of the 3 (but not by much), we decided to go with them in part due to the close bid quotes and the work they recently did for a friend of ours.Its been a while since we had the work done and I apologize that I forget the name of the gentleman that came out to take the measurements and sent us the quote, He was fantastic! He brought out samples and had many great ideas on how to accomplish our remodel and stay within budget. They deal with several quartz companies with many colors to choose from. They also work with several stone distributors with showrooms in our area, but since we didnt want a natural stone countertop and we found the perfect quartz from the samples they brought out, we didnt need to make the drive to look for colors. We ended up choosing white quartz with some small movements of grey.Marble & Granite Tech told us it should take 2- 3 weeks from start to finish since our order is more complicated since we were getting a mitered edge and waterfall panels, but to our wonder, they installed in less than 2 weeks, better for us! The install crew they sent did exceptional work. The attention to detail was impeccable. From the beginning to the end Marble & Granite Techs staff was extremely professional and friendly.We are extremely pleased with the work and the cost! If you are looking for a great company to work with, give Marble & Granite Tech a call!!

I had a similar POOR experience as another person (Christina Miller, see her review) My family stopped in a year ago for information and a quote. We even emailed them all of our information and measurements. We never heard back from anyone!I sent a follow-up email a month later still with no response. A year later (today) I got a voicemail phone call from employee Cindy who had the nerve to say “umm quite a while back you stopped in for granite pricing I just wanted to know if you were still interested.” What a joke.

We had a great experience with everyone we talked to here. They found me a remnant that worked in my budget and that I loved. The guy came out and measured and then they sent me a photo of where the sink and faucet fixtures would go so I could see it before they cut it. I had the opportunity to make changes then which I did not do. The installers were great! Very professional and totally cleaned up after themselves . I love the end results!! The leather finish on the granite is amazing!! I would definitely recommend them.

MGTs fabricators and installers did an amazing job. Our kitchen, in particular, has many angles and cutouts - and the granite fit perfectly. Any necessary seams match up wonderfully, and their suggestions on how to achieve that were right-on. An excellent job was done.

Remodeling my kitchen and was looking for new countertops. I stopped at Marble & Granite Tech (MGT) to look at some samples. I was greeted immediately by Tom. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. My wife and I saw a specific countertop online that we really loved...LG Viatera Everest. I asked Tom if he had a sample of it I can look at in-person. He looked around for it in their showroom but didnt find any. So he went searching for it at their warehouse in the back. They have a big warehouse so it takes a bit of time and effort to search for a sample but Tom didnt give up until he found it. Tom even allowed me to borrow the sample to take home and show my wife to make sure she loves it as much as I did. She did! So we placed an order for the countertops with MGT. The entire process from choosing the countertops to installation went very well. A big thank you to Tom and the rest of the staff at MGT for the excellent service! We love our new kitchen countertops!!!

We had a great experience here. We ware looking for a smaller piece of marble for a half bath. They explained the process to is I keep checking back online to find the piece I was looking for and when I spoke with them they told me they were cutting some of the color I was looking for justj the next month. They called to measure and schedule timely and they cuts for the sink and faucet I had licked were all perfect. I would return.

I have used them twice. I found them quite timely. I love that I got to go pick out my slab. Pricing was similar to Home Depot only many more options from which to choose.

I was so nervous about starting this project because I had talked to other countertop providers and their process seemed complicated and their prices wildly out of reach. Everything went well right up to the installation part. Planners and installers lack attention to detail and caused problems. I gave them the model # of the bathroom sink faucet we were to use so they could ensure it would fit and the lift stopper would work. The granite backsplash keeps the stopper handle from being utilized. Then they crammed the new kitchen goose neck faucet piping through too small of a hole that THEY drilled and kinked the water pipe of the faucet and it has been a leaker ever since. Asked them about it once and never got a reply. The sales lady was very nice...she is a Nebraskan.

UNDERSTAFFED! As a local business owner I can tell you that they have some problems. They are understaffed.When we came in this weekend early afternoon, we waited a half hour to be helped. When we finally spoke to a sales assistant they suggested we schedule our visits on weekdays and call ahead - to ensure we speak to the right staff! - Why wasnt this communicated in the first telephone call or email? After a brief conversation with the sales assistant we were put on a computer to look at their inventory (which we could have done from home), only to find out that all the pieces we were interested in were on hold. We had questions, but our sales assistant disappeared to the back of the shop with people that came in after us. We waited 15-20 min. for our sales assistant to come back, but never showed up. We ended up just leaving. What a waste of time!

From beginning to end, our experience was amazing! We were looking for something unique and was shown a Terra Azul slab that was leathered. The stone is beautiful, but the craftsmanship to measure, cut, and install brought this stone to its absolute best. I would recommend talking to Tom at the Barrington location to get you started, that was all it took for us!

Went in 10 days ago for info and a quote. Came back 2 days later when I didnt receive an email with the quote. Was told it was next on his list. As of this date 10 days later) still havent heard a thing, Possibly the worst customer service Ive encountered.Thats OK I took my business to Windmill Countertops where I got a ballpark quote and a time for them to come out to measure on the spot. Looking forward to my new granite counter tops.

Seriously over priced, the guy said the reason they are so over price the guy working there said that someone has to pay thier workmans comp and their insurance. Shop around people there are better prices and you wont be paying for the companies workmans comp or union fees.
