We were visiting the finger lakes, and decided to make a trip to Geneva partly because I saw the lovely pictures of this store on Google. I was surprised when we actually went into the store and found that the physical space was nothing like the spacious and gorgeous room shown on Google review. It is in fact much smaller and the merchandise less eclectic. Did some research and realized that the pictures, which were apparently uploaded by the business in Oct 2020, are in fact of the old location at 22 Castle before moving to the current location in 2017. It was still cool to spend a little time at the store browsing their books, but the pictures did not provide accurate information for prospective customers.

I stopped in while visiting Geneva and found a few cool things to get. I had an issue with something I bought, and they were so quick to resolve it even after I had left town. Great customer service and they were friendly while I was in the store too. I really appreciate it!

Awesome place! They do the most beautiful and professional job with framing and always have unique gifts and artwork for purchase at their store. Highflying recommend!

An eclectic little shop (books & more) with many new FLX-related books as well as used unique finds. You could easily lose track of time scouring titles & pouring through the pages of many diverse offerings. (Thats not a bad thing!)

Quite a unique place to shop, they have something for everyone! Both new and old books, interesting finds you wont find anywhere else in the area, as well as a multitude of historic maps. You can also frame things here with amazingly high quality craftsmanship. If you are visiting Geneva or need a gift for someone, I would highly recommend stopping by stomping grounds.

Best place around. They do high-quality framing of any kind. There isnt a framing and art problem they cant work with! They also have a wonderful selection of vintage books which was very refreshing. Also the staff there is wonderful. So attentive and thoughtful, great to get along with. Would recommend!

Stomping Grounds always has beautiful and unique merchandise, from used/rare books to newer merchandise, unique jewelry, art, maps, stationery and more. Ever-changing, fascinating inventory. Dont miss it if you are in beautiful Geneva, New York!

I was thrilled when I discovered this place. The cafe/lounge upstairs is the best! There are huge windows, great music, loose leaf tea, and so much more. My favorite place to hang out when I need to focus and study.
