A few months ago we decided to do a gender reveal and to make it fun for our daughter we did balloons. From the first call I made, to being helped locating product at the store, reassurance at the register, to pick-up--literally the whole experience went so smoothly. And we did it all that day. I dont recommend that, but I am so grateful for how well Party City handled it. And shout out to the associate Sarah bc she saw the whole thing through and it would not have gone as well as it did without her!

Cyndi was very helpful and so kind, plus some good laughs. Store was well stock and if not they check there stock in back. I will be going back for other party events supplys.

The customer service at this store is top notch. I had a pretty confusing request to have 11 bags of balloons inflated and delivered in less than a week. Long story short, they made it happen. They thought outside the box in order to help me and I’m so appreciative that there are still good people out there! Thumbs up to Jenna and Trevor for helping to make my sons birthday a huge success!

This store is great. I love how good the stuff is but minus one star because I was traumatized as a child by the Freddy Krueger decoration back in like 2012

Horrible experience. Found a costume online and it showed 3 in the Geneva store which happens to be the closest to my house. I sent my husband to go pick up the item. He walks in to the store walking right past what he assumes to later believe is the manager (based on her green shirt not her absolute lack of caring about customers or being helpful in any way) who is smoking like a chimney 5 feet from the entrance...which last I checked was not only illegal but horrible business sense. To waiting 5-10 mins before even being approached by anyone working there to see if he needs help on a night the store was dead. Finally super helpful green shirt comes over and is absolutely no help says they dont have the product and her effort stops there and she walks away into the back room. My husband calls me unsure of what to do and I tell him find someone else to double check before leaving and maybe they will be able to tell you if another store close by has it. He finds a younger college aged associate in a black shirt who at first is very helpful. Is familiar with the exact product and even offers to double check to make sure they don’t have it. Even though that interaction was off to a good start it only resulted in we don’t have it. My husband asked about them checking other stores for him (since he already wasted time being there because the website wasn’t accurate) and he was told he should call himself. The store was empty might I remind you. Thank god for Amazon because I will never be returning to such a horrible place. Thank you for making me realize when you go out of business I will know exactly why.

I got 2 # balloons. Did NOT pay yet. I didnt realize they were THAT BIG. I told the girl if I could pick different ones shes said i could not get a refund. When 1 I never paid! But didnt want to be rude and walk out

Jenna the store manager went above and beyond to help me track down the rest of my wedding favors i needed from other multiple other party citys in the area since the item was not sold on party city online. I called party city in Downers Grove and the customer service was so horrible that Jenna talked to the manager after being on hold for a half hour finally got the answer we needed. She also called multiple other party citys and found what i needed at the closet location to me and put it on hold for me. She was a huge help - i would have not purchased what i did without all her help. Her helper AJ also was very helpful in the process as well. Working in customer service myself as a manager made me really appreciate all the effort she put in to help me. Cant say thank you enough wedding planning is stressful enough as is and she helped me check a big thing off the list. - Thanks Jenna and AJ

This place is the worst!! Cheryl the manager is not caring or sympathetic to customers needs. First, the store supposedly had a helium shortage, but they had enough to fulfill online orders! She proceeded to tell me they had not even enough helium to fill one balloon for my sons golden birthday (a golden 8 balloon) while filling balloons right in front of me! Also I had to wait 10 minutes for her to even walk up to the front to talk to me, she was no where in sight! There was not one sign posted about the nationwide helium shortage. Then she proceeded to argue with me until I was out the door after I told her she is not caring about customers needs. I will never spend my money at party city ever again because of her.

Generally pleasant staff with the full range of Party City merchandise. Parking is abundant and the lot is well maintained.

I wanted to order 2 dozen balloons for a party that begins at 10:30 am on a Sunday. They open at 10 and the party is down the street so it wouldnt take me that long to get the balloons and still make it to the party...however...they told me that my order wouldnt be ready until 10:30 am AT THE EARLIEST! I am not going to miss my childs birthday because you all cant get it together and have these ready. Im taking our business else where for everything from now on.
