Been a Best Buy customer for many years now. Love this location as it more often than not has the items I want in stock (pre-pandemic which affected a LOT of retail and businesses in general). The in-store demonstrators for products would mostly be working. Never really had any big issues with the staff. If I found one who may not have been as knowledgeable as I would have hoped, I could always find an expert around somewhere! Found a few times that some might be broken and not working. Close to home for me, so easy to get to for ordering online and in-store pickups.

Went there for a Labor Day sale, $130 off a soundbar that pairs with my TV. I knew what model I wanted and there was a greeter right at the door. I told him what I was looking for and he directed me to the right area, then came over and got it for me and got me checked right out. Great experience, good store.

Best buy nowadays is hit or miss. When there well staffed there amazing! They take there time, workers are young but eager to help. Catch them On an understaffed day, the wait is long to even get you checked out due to only 1 cashier.

Lord of the Flies. It seems to be run by a tribe of narrowly-past teenagers who are easily baffled by simple questions.Maybe thats a little unfair. Im doing three stars. I got what I wanted. I just found that, when asking a question, I was passed to three people, the final person was adequate. Didnt seem really interested in finding a solution or going a little beyond. They checked the computer, told me no and shrugged.I guess thats the thing they could do. Im sure the answer was no (was the item we ordered online ready a little early because I was driving by) but Id have been thrilled if they had tried to accommodate or speed up the process or called someone to see if they could help. They didnt and I guess thats all they have to do.So, its fine. Just deeply not special.

Great employees! Quick to help you what you’re looking for. You don’t have to hunt someone down for help. Easy to find exactly what you’re looking for and if you can’t find the exact item they’ll help you find it in the store, online or a nearby store depending on if it’s out of stock in store.

I thought this store can do much better. I was upset when I arrived for a pick up (Shipt shopper pick up), they told me to go to the back of Best Buy building and ring the bell so someone will come out to give me the delivery item. I spent 10 m driving and walking in the back of Best Buy building, all the doors are locked and no bell to ring. I came back to the store asked for help. The guy ignored me. I asked someone and that person helped me to reach to the guy who ignored me. Finally the one who ignored me brought the item out. It took him less than 5 m to bring out a package as small as CD. They should do better job helping customers.

When I came home, started to open new phone, no slot and started to read this phone doesnt support micro cards. How come you dont teach your personal? Went to get my computer repaired because the plug stopped working, took them 6 months and 3 motherboards (this was fine walking in) before they finally decided I can get it replaced. They gave me one option for a replacement, which had a much smaller screen. I asked for a larger screen but would have to take an inferior device, so I asked if I could get other items to make up for the purchase price they said no. so basically they destroyed my computer under warranty and I had to take something I didnt like.

I was in last week and a gentleman was Very helpful and he transferred my photos from my wifes phone to our computer! Very dissatisfied with my visit to Geek Squad! I had a dryer delivery. The guys hooked up my gas dryer. Told me it was supposed to run for 30 mins and left with no further explanation. Five minutes later my dryer stopped. I had no idea if there was a problem or not. I went in to our laundry room there were parts lying on the floor. They hadn’t used the new dryer exhaust we had paid for at Best Buy’s insistence, but our existing one. The new one was sitting in a box. The owner’s manual was left sitting on the floor. So I thought I’d call their customer service. I was told the wait time was 85 minutes. As I waited my doctor called about 30 minutes in and of course 10 minutes later, Best Buy dumped me and I called back. This time the hold time was only 84 minutes. After two hours total on hold between two calls I was told that someone would call me back within 48 hours with a date and time where someone would return to my home and explain my dryer to me and make sure everything was working properly and that I was compensated for being on hold for two hours. They never called. I give up and just figured it was time to write a review and see if there wasn’t some way to improve my customer experience.

They kill me! I waited on a cane for over 20 MINUTES. Best Buy (Batavia, IL. Randall Rd.) is for sure an ungrateful merchant. The manager on duty refuse to honor the most simplistic request. I bought a new printer from Best Buy. However, my purchase was on-line. I didnt get my recycling rebate, even though I gave them my old printer. True the promo is OVER, but my purchase of the new printer was during the promo period. So, to me the rebate should have been honored! Calling and Chatting comes with a LONG WAIT TIME. Going in person was just as bad! Seeing how the manager didnt even bother to speak directly to me. RUDE! I feel sorry for the staff.

This Best Buy is AWESOME. They will go out of their way to help you out. I have never seen employees so helpful and willingly to do so. The employees at this store are very polite and will do what it takes to get you what you need. They should be commended. this location knows how to train their employees that can make this store stand out from other stores.

Went in to best buy today wanted to get a TV wall mount. I usually buy these things online, but on a whim decided to mount my TV on the wall. I have to say WOW do they have TVs. They are everywhere, game on black Friday is here. After talking to Reece, he sold me on the great features of the Sanus advance full motion TV wall mount. Model BMF320-B1 for 149.99. I mounted it in about 20 min, very easy install. Thx you Reece for all your informative help.

Purchased computer speakers a month ago. Speakers stopped turning on. Returned to location I purchased to exchange for working set. Was told I was outside the return policy. Thats very unfortunate but what will prevent me from shopping with Best Buy in the future was the customer service. I was bounced around between 3 people and ended up having a very rude interaction with the manager on duty, Yenga Basolene. I dont appreciate having my money or time wasted, being chastised because I didnt purchase their in house up sell protection, and being mistreated and insulted by management.

5 stars for the gentlemen I worked with at Geek Squad. Blake was very understanding of my situation with my computer & my data recovery situation. The data was unable to be retrieved, therefore it had to be sent out to the data recovery team. Blake has kept me in the loop any time there was an update in the system that he could see, and took all of my questions & handled everything respectfully! Great customer service, and put forth the effort for the customer!Thank you again!Returning on Friday for my remote start, & I’m sure I’ll be please with that as well.

While the store staff was friendly and helpful, dealing with Geek Squad on the phone was a different storyI had an external hard drive fail, they emailed me to say to call to go ahead with the repair it was 1400 Dollars for a 10 year old hard drive.. as much as a brand new computerSo I told them not to fix itBut I got an email from Geek Squad saying it was repairedWhen I called them about the confusion, they too were confused, I was afraid I got chargedI was told a supervisor would call me backi never got a call back

Went in to buy a printer they did not have the printer I wanted in stock said they could order it but I could have gone to Amazon and ordered it myself if I wanted it delivered. The purpose of the stores is so that people can walk in purchase an item and walk out with it not wait 3 to 5 business days for something to be delivered very dissatisfied with my experience and considering not shopping with them in the future.

In general this is a great Best Buy store. Ive shopped at others but this one has superior customer service compared to other Best Buys where I have shopped. I was just there and that is true now also.You need a mask. There is hand sanitizer everywhere. Its mostly empty. Few sales people but they are eager to help.

The amount of items the stores have now is just sad. I used to be able to spend endless hours checking out new inventive products you used to carry. I understand the logistics of competing in the online buying wars but at least have more than one or two options for things and stop pandering to the almighty Apple. Customer service is a foreign language to Best Buy, and one that they have no interest in learning. On the day of my installation the team flooded half of my second floor laundry room and did not tell me. I found it hours later and had to remove the washer and dryer, lift up the floor and dry it out for 8 hours with fans. I tried to call Best Buy for assistance and never even got anyone on the phone after holding for hours. I tried again the next day only to be shuffled around to various teams who did not care about helping me. I am returning these appliances so that when I have another issue I won’t have to worry about when or if it will be taken care of properly. Disappointed but lesson learned.

Best Buy is extremely consistent with their displays, product line, and employee customer service. Best Buy is almost as predictable as McDonalds. Their staff is usually between 18 and 25 and a little, as expected, on the nerdy side. Hey, in todays world of technology, we desperately need people like this to answer our tech questions. Product lines, although always carrying the name brands, stay current with the latest shiny tech toy.

This Best Buy location has always been fantastic. Ive bought electronics since I was a kid here and up to my washer and dryer once I bought my first home. Everyone is very knowledgeable and if the person assisting isnt an expert in that specific department, the employee seeks someone who is. Wait times are slightly longer due to COVID-19 at the moment but with patience its worth the wait for assistance.

So I have purchased many things from this location. Having their credit card is a plus. Out of the maybe 20 times Ive been at this location I was only frustrated twice. And it was a simple staffing issue. Besides that, you just have to find the right guy/gal with the knowledge to match your questions. The geek squad is quite knowledgeable. As are a few of the computer sales guys. I recently picked up the HP Omen gaming desktop to replace a laptop that broke. The employee that helped me got me the whole package at my price point and was happy to be able to cater to my needs. Then just today I picked up a smart clock and was curious about some gaming mice and an employee told me they basically had none in stock but he would be happy to order whatever one I can pick from a list he gave me. Thats awesome. So hey, good on ya best buy! Keep your great employees!
