My debit card was stolen and used to purchase at this location. I immediately called the police and did a police report and spoke to the asset protection person hunter the day of. I was told to come back the next day and she would be able to check the cameras for me. I went back the next day and Kevin the manager immediately got an attitude basically telling me he wasn’t going to show me the cameras and that he could kick me out and this is within 2 minutes of me speaking to him. He told me to call the police and walked right away. Very disrespectful and especially to someone that had already been there had an open investigation and was not hostile at all. NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDED!

If I could give this thing would allow me to leave a review with no stars, I would! They are very ignorant people. I tried to use my WIC to get my baby girls formula, and they didn’t understand how to do WIC. Wouldn’t even try to do it. Refused me to use it. Manager didn’t even know what he was doing. Employees are very unqualified for their positions. No good things to say about them, just I will never step foot in that store due to ignorant staff members! Every grocery store should know how to do WIC and this store is the only store I’ve ever been to that didn’t know what they were doing!

Im not a huge fan of Walmart but it was late and because of convenience I stopped by. This was my first time inside a Walmart Neighborhood Market, not bad I must say, ample parking, clean and fully stocked. Found everything thing I needed, in fact I should have used a bigger shopping cart. Plenty of food and non food items and great prices. The only drawback I have is I had to use the self scan checkout, but being it was super late I can understand, plus the attendant was very helpful. If in that area again Id definitely return.

I was missing items for the 2nd straight online grocery order. I have now had issues with the last 3 of 5 visits using online grocery. When I called to complain, I was told I could drive back to the store to get my missing item. It is not worth the hassle.

I have pretty bad anxiety, so I usually order curbside pickup for groceries. Its super easy and takes a lot of the pressure off keeping my home stocked! Last time I went I was helped by Ciera and she was amazing. Everything was packed so well I could get everything inside in one trip and without tons of extra bags for single or tiny items!

I love my Walmart Market Place. It is rare they are out of anything I need. Their produce is fresh. The people are friendly.

Always disarray, nobody ever works the register or bags during busy hours. Not uncommon to be in line longer than you spend shopping. Food Lion across the street tends to be a much better experience if you are willing to spend the extra money.

All ways crowded we never really have good time going to Walmart market. We just go too Good Lion

Incredible service, impeccable store. They should use this Walmart in Gastonia as a guideline for so many other Walmarts. And I was visiting from out of state.

No water foutain for employees. So you gotta work 3 weeks to get paid for one week, no money or food for 3 weeks. I dont get snap, so i guess your outta luck and quickly dehydrated and they dont care.

Terrible 2:00 afternoon no cashier s no manger around stock everywhere crew people standing around talking had to selt check like the other 30 people trying to get out lined up across the store and 1 lady watching the hole thing this my second and last time in this store Come on walmart get it together .

The store is too small to move around when it is busy. Customer service never responds when I requested to speak to someone. Cashiers are not friendly or knowledgeable. Security always racial profiling you for no apparent reason. They follow you and pretend they are just a customer when you know they are trying to intimidate you so you will feel uncomfortable shopping there. Manager won’t come and assist you. Poor training at this location except for maybe the older employees. Security need to watch all people and not just people of a certain race. The store is not well stocked and no one can help you find what you need.Awful place for seniors to shop too. They don’t reinforce mask wearing, they think it’s a joke.

My store of choice, great prices and always fully stocked with necessity items.

Its not one of the Super Centers, but had pretty much everything we needed, and was over, and cleaner than the other Walmart.

Came to pick up one last item before Christmas. Loss prevention guy at door preventing people from coming into the store at 5:32 PM, when they closed at 6:00. I understand it’s Christmas Eve and people have places to go and family to see, but if you close at 6:00, you close at 6:00. Called the store, and spoke to customer service rep who confirmed that they closed at 6:00. Transferred me to manager on duty “Layton” who confirmed that they closed at 6:00 but weren’t letting anyone in using “overcapacity” as an excuse. “Layton” was completely unprofessional and hung up on me. Now only do I have to drive across town in the rain to pick up what I need. Thanks Layton for the completely horrible experience and for closing the store early. I’m sure you turned away 50+ customers too on Christmas Eve.

Great people work there . We are regulars and if we make a suggestion like ( You need more eggs a certain brand ) The next time they have bought more. We tell them when they are totally out of something they seem to appreciate that. Keep up the great work!

Walmart is becoming a no for me when it comes to its food. The food there is never fresh I have experienced mold on my vegetables, rotten fruit, and out of date food products still being sold on the shelves. Walmart is always out of products never restocked. Horrible experience. Walmart you gotta do better.

The staff was extremely helpful in locating items. The cashier made sure my items were secure and wasnt damaged.

Everytime I visit this store all the employees are friendly and attentive. Also, going early in the day helps insure youll find what your looking for because the deliveries come at night so they are restocked early.

The parking lot is too small for the amount of business they do. Pickers sometimes overlook items or give incorrect replacements.

I love this scaled down Walmart! It has everything you need except the crazy crowd.

This store tries very hard to be accommodating. I dont use the deli anymore, but I love the attitudes of 99% of the staff.

I had a great experience today. I entered about 3:45 pm, on a Tuesday. It was very busy, full of customers. There were plenty of employees to cover the crowd. The shelves were stocked, lines were small. The flow was smooth. Friendly cashier at the register, and Red was great at customer service.

This was a neighborhood Walmart (small version) they had plenty of employees working. This place was clean and organized. I went there to find a heater and they had it.I didnt see any electronics or cell phones

Seems the store waits until the busiest times to stock shelves rather than after hours. So if you shop early in the day, the shelves are bare and rsrely amy lanes open other than self checkout. Even during busy times.

Do not offer pick up service if you’re unwilling to staff your store appropriately. The wait times are absolutely not worth it. I’m approaching 40 minutes of waiting after leaving a voicemail and speaking with an attendant twice to provide my last name. This is my third time experiencing a wait exceeding 30 minutes. I will not be returning.

I mean what can I say, its Walmart. You either love it or hate it. I shop here often, especially since its a neighborhood market and not a super center. I like the way these stores are set up. This one particular, i hate the parking lot. The aisles in front of the store are short and tight and it has a weird little curve at the end that drives me insane lol.... i guess thats it. 🙂

It was my first time and I made the mistake of going in right after church on a Sunday! It was VERY crowded.We found what we were looking for fairly and easily. I would definitely go again but hopefully at a time when its less busy. The space seems very small and tight.

Here for a grocery pickup. Love the service. But, depending on who answers your call. You could forbe waiting a long time. Even after getting the text that the order was ready. Called when arrived at parking spot. Waited for a long long time, and had to call again. So depending on who is answering the phone it could take a while. Ensure they get your name

I was there today 10/13/2020, and I had a little trouble with and one of the managers there took great care of me and resolved my problem real quick and she was so nice and treated me like I was part of the family. I would recommend this Walmart neighborhood market anytime to anyone.

Great as usual. Location is awesome[Redbud].NEW shopping area with a lot more great stores and restaurants. You no longer have to drive 20 minutes away from home to pick up hand full of items that may be important for your breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a snack. Thanks Walmart!

Great customer service and I was quickly on my way.

At first I didnt want to give comments but after the staffs kept seeing me time and time again they became super friendly . I wish that Walmart hires more cashier and less lines but I will be humble and accept the flaws.

Every time I go to this store they will be out of so much stuff it is almost a waste of time to go. Sometime you can barely get up and down the alleys. Where they are so many displays setting in the middle of floor. Right now I would give it a thumbs down.

Its a great place to grocery shop. Not at all like the big stores which offer everything from tire and oil change to bicycles. Associates are very friendly and helpful. Prices are low and the store is clean sterile and tidy. Produce is fresh as well as the deli being well stocked and staffed. Im very pleased with everything.

December 7th, 2020 Update: Certain violations. Salvation Army person did not sit near kettle. He and kettle were at the door inside taped off area! He continued standing about 6 feet from kettle out inside taped area for entrance. So, there was no getting past that guy! No clean shopping carts available. I observed disabled shoppers asking for clean cart. Female employee who stood at a table at Exit did point to a wipe stand about fifteen ft away! She also blocked the exit door. A line formed due to a constant stream of new customers unknowingly preventing anyone any space or time to exit! Store should be shut down. It was so crowded, I had to just leave. I have no groceries. Order your food off Amazon! November 2020 Update: CLEAN YOUR CART! Not sure when or why they stopped sanitizing shopping carts? I shopped here often. I was offered a sanitized shopping cart one time in the past three months! Grocery pick up rarely has time slots. Walmart and Sams club gives you the oldest most damaged products they have on hand to avoid writing off losses. I think they can afford to write off expired and damaged goods!

Clean! Good customer service! No begging in the parking lot like Mrytle School. Online grocery pickup is smooth, nice, and usually has everything I ordered. Ive also shopped inside and it was a similar experience each time.

The store is messy and its hard to find what youre looking for. I only go there for quick stops. I would never do a full grocery shopping there.
