Yesterday my wife and I went to a bunch of different mattress stores to find an affordable yet comfortable upgrade to our mattress. We were about to give up when she found a great price on a beauty rest mattress at mattress firm. So we went in and while we didn’t find that exact mattress, we found one even better for less money. Out of all of the stores we shopped at, mattress firm had the best selection, prices, customer service, and convenience that made us pull the trigger on our new mattress being delivered Monday. I highly recommend the mattress firm in Gastonia. They worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted at a price I wanted to pay.

Jonathan was the most helpful, knowledgeable and professional person I have had the pleasure of working with since I moved to Belmont. He took his time talking to me about the differences in the mattresses and I feel confident that i chose the right one for my needs.Mattress Firm is lucky to have Jonathan!

I have been experiencing extreme back pain for over a year which I thought was due to an issue with my leg. I had surgery and slept in a recliner for several weeks with no issues. The first night I slept in my bed, I could hardly walk the next morning. That’s when I discovered it was my mattress. After doing some research, I went to the Cox Rd Gastonia, NC branch and was greeted by John. John asked a lot of good questions and based on those gave me several options to try. He allowed me time to check out each one until I made a decision. He was extremely helpful and I didn’t feel pressured in anyway. I cannot wait for that mattress to arrive! Bought a mattress 1 year ago from this store. Had to change it out twice. Third mattress slightly smaller than last one. Im completely disappointed with this store. Total waste of $2500. Could have put that towards a Casper instead.

Walked into the store and Jonathan was right there to greet us. Told him what we were looking for and he showed us several options. No pressure he let us make up our minds what we wanted. Gave us a really good deal. Cannot wait until the mattress is delivered so we can start getting better sleep.

Ordering on the phone was easy. My mom who just had surgery and lives in another city needed a mattress and box springs quickly. I called and less than 2 days later the set was delivered.

I went into mattress firm and was greeted and asked how can i help you? I am sorry i dont remember the gentlemans name,i told him how much i wanted to spend and he showed me a couple of mattresses in my price range and i was not sure of the firmness i wanted and i tried one out and it was just right and i asked about a bed frame or platform and he suggested the platform so i was able to buy a mattress and platform set up delivery pay and go on with my day in less than an hour! It was so quick friendly and painless i wanted a glass of wine and a smoke! I was extremely happy and i am looking forward to the delivery. Part two to be written after delivery! Mr. Milton Walter was extremely helpful, I called prior to visiting the store and I explained to Mr. Walter what it was that I looking for and he gave me options of what would best fit my need. When I came to the store he was very patient with me and was very knowledgeable about the product and made my decision making very easy. Thank you yet again.

Went to both Mattress Firm locations. I got more help from the one on Cox Road with the help of Tim Setzer. Got a great deal on two mattresses (honestly for the price I almost spent on one from the other store). Stock was the same, I just got more information and was able to make what I think was a better decision.

This place was awesome, the sales man (Malcom) greeted my wife and I at the door. He let us look around he did not push or try to sell us. Once we looked at all the mattresses they had available. He then asked us which ones we liked and what our price range was. I love this type of sales tactic I do not like pushy. Malcom was able to pull out a matress we loved from another store at a price we were very happy with. The matress gets delivered tommorow. Very prompt.

Michael was a much better salesman than the salesman, Darryl, at the other Mattress Firm (MF) Michael did excellent services recovery. We (my wife and I) originally made a purchase with Darryl. We had told him that we wanted a queen size mattress, frame and box springs . Upon delivery date, we only received mattress and box springs. My wife refused delivery. I return to MF where Darryl worked but he wasn’t there. A salesperson named Gretchen was working. I informed her what had happened and presented her with the paperwork that Darryl had given me. Gretchen informed me that the paperwork was only for a box springs and delivery. She offered me a bed frame but the box was dented. I refused the offer and told her to credit my account. Gretchen was not empathetic to my frustration. She said that she offered me a free frame and that’s all she could do. We will not patronize the MF where Darryl and Gretchen work. Thanks again Micheal for reviewing my order and ensuring great customers satisfaction.

My girlfriend and I came in here, and like a lot of sales based businesses I expected the worst. But Malcolm was super laid back and extremely helpful. Really feel like he went out of his way to give us a great deal. He even kept our son occupied while showing us mattresses. Just an all around good guy. I purchased a new mattress set and the sales experience with Paul was great. However, the mattress was defective when it was delivered on a Friday. The person who delivered it left the detective unit in my house and refused to haul away an old set as requested. When I contacted the store, I was told that a replacement couldnt be set up until the following Tuesday. The replacement set was supposed to be delivered no later than 930 PM. When I finally received the call informing me about the ETA, they were expected at 10PM.

I had an amazing shopping experience. Paul Raynor, the associate there, was very professional and courteous. I found a mattress that I really love and would definitely come back to buy another should I need it. Again a wonderful experience and I’m so excited to sleep on my new mattress!

Great customer service! Johnathan was top notch and was absolutely awesome in assisting us with purchasing a new mattress.Update: Great service taking my money. Absolutely horrible service following through to completion. Not surprised though. True car/ matress salesman!To make a long story very clear and concise.......the matress I purchased never arrived and I ended up canceling the sale due to dismissive, apathetic and inept salesmen. The surprising incompetence by Johnathan and his sidekick Tim became obvious to me on the day of delivery. I contacted Matress Firm to confirm delivery. Unfortunately, I was told the warehouse did not actually have the matress I purchased despite being told otherwise. Lets just say it was then extremely challenging in having to guide Tim through the process of problem solving. Sure Tim, I will do your job for you...Additionally, the poor demeanor exhibited by Johnathan at the time of refund was right out of a movie. Shameful. Matress Firm?? Is that the best you have to offer? Good luck to all future customers. Matress Firm shutting down stores all over the place. I wonder why? Hmmm.
