TRIM-A-SEAL IS A GODSEND!! ITS JUST A HANDFUL OF BUSINESSES FROM IN THE DAY THAT ARE STILL LOCATED IN GARY....DECADES AGO MY DAD BOUGHT FROM THEM....NOW IM FOLLOWING IN HIS FOOTSTEPS.I REALLY APPRECIATE DREW...THE RENOVATOR WHO DOES THE ESTIMATES...HES WARM AND VERY FRIENDLY....HES REALLY AN ASSET TO THE BUSINESS AND THE PRICES ARENT BAD EITHER...SO IF YOURE LOOKING TO HAVE ANY HOMEIMPROVEMENTS DONE....KEEP THEM IN MIND....WHY NOT SUPPORT A LOCAL GARY BUSINESS?!TRUSTWORTHY THEN....EVEN MORE SO TODAY!!

Not happy with the customer service at all. We had out awing put in 4 years ago with a 5-year warranty paid over 5K. This year one of 3 screws in bracket popped out and ripped the fabric. I have been working with Samantha and Zach since July 24th. I told them and sent them pictures of what happened, and over the last three months, I had to keep track of this whole process myself. Finally, I was told by Samanth that they got the fabric covered by SunSetter and that the only charge I will have is $119.00 as a service fee that I have agreed to pay.Today the guys came out to swap out the fabric and fix the bracket, which they did super clean and fast. Then I was presented with the bill for $648.00!!!!!! I told them that was not what I agreed to pay. Zach called me, and he blamed our brick, which is only 17 yo plus me not understanding what they were saying to me - by the way, Im Polish, so I talk with an accent. Still, I do speak and understand English just fine. Once I told him to take the new fabric down and put the ripped one back on, he dropped the fabric price by 50%. I told him that I would pay that as I dont feel like wasting my time arguing, and I know that this talk will get me nowhere. I feel super lied to, and as a business owner myself, and I would never lie to my clients like this. Super disappointed :-(

This place is a joke. If you dont mind being lied to and put on schedule than taking off then told not sure when they can come out, than tis place is for you. Hopefully if and when we get the product we will be happy with it but the service really sucks ☹️

No personal experience. But this company has been cited by the city of Gary for dumping trash and materials. That is awful! Im not a native of Gary, but I live here now & that is one of Garys biggest problems. Shame on you Trim A Seal!
