I went here based on a recommendation and I am very happy with the service I had. Chad the mechanic was thorough and professional and did a great job on my car. We went through all the options for fixing a several things with no pressure at all. He even fixed an issue with my fender thats been bothering me for a while. I will definitely be going back again if I need anymore work done.

It was interesting. The guys are polite. I spent far more than I planned but the truck is running. I will go back until I can get rid of the truck. Well .... the guys were great but I came in under duress and anxiety. Said I just need a battery in a hurry so I can get back on the road . If someone is too busy to help - can I just buy the battery and install myself ? 2 hours later they finished with me creating an additional stress for me driving onward for 7 more hours. I appreciated the complete diagnostic but didn’t ask for it - I needed to get on the road - not all of that and expressed this urgency repeatedly . Guys were polite and smart but should have just done a battery replacement in what ? 15 minutes ? That part of complete check up was not needed or requested and was kind of disrespectful when I had expressed my urgency to continue onward for work assignment and true critical needs . Next time someone is in a hurry - please do as asked and not what you think is needed . Thanks however for the concern I might have had systemic drama ... the drama was I was then late ... so it didn’t help me .

Got my exhaust done at this place on my 124 Spider Abarth and they did a FANTASTIC job. I couldnt be happier. This is better than any of the pre-made axle-back exhausts on the aftermarket for this car. These guys really took care of me and got the exhaust exactly how I wanted it. Top notch, the best custom exhaust Ive ever had on a car.

The crew at U. S Tire are the best. Honesty and integrity are very important to me and it has been my experience that these two are hard to find. Dave and his workers have both. I have never gone to the shop without being treated like the most valuable customer they have. I wont go anywhere else.

I was in an accident during a blizzard traveling through the state. I had 2 flat tires and asked the tow driver to take my car to a Firestone. Thankfully they got my car in right away. I had a broken tie rod a bad rim and 3 bad tires. It took a few hours but I was very grateful. They where very polite and welcoming of my two big dogs traveling with me.

Alex and the mechanics were incredibly helpful and responsive. As we were passing through Gary on a cross country road trip, we needed to do an emergency flush of our coolant system. They got us in immediately, assessed the situation and were able to get us back on the road in no time. We could not have been happier with the professionalism and quality of the work performed.

This place was great, has fair prices and the staff is super friendly. Chad took the time to explain everything to me clearly so I understood what was going on. Plus chris was kinda cute so I will be returning for great service again.

Misdiagnosed my car. I paid for a fuel pump I didnt need. Actual problem was not costly. They didnt offer to knock off some of the cost I paid for work I didnt need. Exhaust was loud and it wasnt when I took it to them.. Never going back!

Had to take my G37 here because this is one of the few shops that actually takes lowered cars for alignments. But super glad I did! Alex and Thomas were a huge help with everything and they took great care of my car! Couldnt of asked for more. Definitely recommend checking them out if you need any help!

I went in for a quick connect hose to get fixed. Great job but very pricey. That’s ok tho...but now my radiator is smoking a lil bit and im afraid to drive it in case my car over heats and I noticed a belt that is broken and im wondering is that why I see smoke..If it’s not one thing it’s another. I love the work they do but now i have to find a way to get that belt fixed and go bsck and forth to work...

Chad and then rest of the guys there were awesome fixing up the brakes on my truck. I recommend having an appointment and now going as soon as you get off work lol. But these guys were great and really cared about my vehicle and getting everything done correctly. They made sure to tell me everything that was wrong, everything that should be fixed, and didn’t do anything without my permission.

Very expensive place to do business with

Was stranded on the highway after business hours and 2 hrs from home and 2 hrs from my dad who was in the ICU. I had to tow my car and leave it so I could get down to Indy. Called them 15 mins before they opened on the off chance they might answer and they did. The guy I talked to was so helpful and understanding. They fixed my car quickly and were able to repair my tire instead of replace it, so it cost me a lot less than I was expecting. They made a hard couple days a little better with quick, reliable, and affordable service. If I ever get stranded in Gary again, I would absolutely go back.

Outstanding service at US Tire and Auto Service Center in Gary. I had 2 tires blow out getting on the expressway and I was able to drive the vehicle to the nearest service center. It just so happened to be US Tire and Auto Service Center. Without knowing anything about their reputation I left my brand new Jeep overnight in their parking lot. They promptly took care of my vehicle and it drives better than ever! Definitely pleased with the service I received.

I gave it a 2 cuz the waiting room was horrible. I seen a review response from the owner from a year ago saying they were in the process of upgrading the chairs. Atleast dont lie to the customers man. 2.5 hrs for an alignment when they knew what day and time I was coming wasnt cool. Wouldnt schedule me a time so I could be in and out more promptly. The quality of work was the only reason I came. In the end the tech I wanted to work on my car didnt.

I had two blowouts and towed my car to this location! They were quick and fast!

Had a bent rim that occured due to a NWI pothole. Was recommended by a friend and soon easily understood why. Chad took me in and I immediately knew I was in great hands! He was polite, patient, down to earth, extremely experienced, and most importantly honest. He and the rest of the shop made sure I was taken care of to the best of their ability. Ended up taking in my other car for a tune up and it is running so much better ever since!

Took my husbands truck in today to get some tires that he found this morning. The shop was able to get me in at a convenient time and I still made it home to get the kids from school. They have a friendly staff and not only let me know what was going on, but also kept in touch with my husband when they came across some needed repairs. Great experience!

I went there for just an alighnment and it took 6 hours. Wasted my day. I am a mechanic and I knew there are some issues with the car and all I wanted was just the wheels to be straight. They went on and found some loose bolts and thats all and i did agree on them to tightened them. Still definitely not worth almost 300 for that. Definitely not happy and very disappointed. I got the job done but wasted my day just frustrated on how long it took. Never coming back

The guy told us to come into his shop and said he could do the work that we wanted done for a seemingly fair price. We spent over 6 hours sitting in the lobby just to find out that they did not even touch the car, besides putting it up on a lift. We told the guy at the counter to get the car off the rack and then we waited outside for our car. One of the workers proceeded to walk past us with our keys into the building after we had wasted our entire day there. I do not recommend wasting your time with this place.

Chad is the man! I take my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee here for all my exhaust/brake work, and the service is top notch every time.

Customer since 2008. Bought tires because they have a free rotation and flat tire warranty for the life of the tires. This insures mileage on the treadwear of the tires. The service is reliable, quick, and reasonable. No weekend times...bummer!

Spoke with Chad in referance to getting ac in a 92 toyota pickup..I actually saw him at Mr Goodys...said he was a head mechanic at US Tire n Auto and could do it no problem..he took my info and even opened my hood and looked it over.. NEVER heard back from him again even after leaving several messages at the US Tire n Auto.... Im just saying...maybe be does not even work there idk..
