Was validated for a laptop. They took my money then called to say Im not validated and they cant correct the error. The Julian hd the audacity to say to me most people dont apply for a loan in their nickname. I told him I wanted a manager call that I never got. Was given the solution center where nobody answers. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!! So unprofessional and unwilling to resolve simple issues.

On 8/7/2021 between the time of 1130am and 1230pm I call this location to see if I can have my payment day pushed to 8/17/2021. While on the phone with this location I was told to hold on and the phone hung up. When I called back I believe the store manager answered and I asked her the can I get my payment pushed to 8/17/2021 and she told me that she was being nice and the answer is no. Its alot that happened in those phone conversation and I would like for it to get looked into.
If I was able to rate them a 0 I would. Worst place ever too spend your money. Horrible customer service and if you try too call the Corp it’s no better. Need a whole new staff team.

It all started early August, when I paid them over the phone. I paid weekly. About $31 a week. On August 1st, they took $31 off my card. On August 4th, I saw another charge from them for $62. So I though, “ok, that is unexpected. But at least I’m good for three weeks.” Wrong. They came back August 14th I believe, and walked inside my apartment, and demanded $58 for being late. I told them there must be a mistake. I showed them my bank transactions, and they did not care. So, I gave them the money. Fast forward to yesterday, when they called me and said, “We need $58 from you by noon tomorrow or we are picking up the television.” Already from what I paid, them this month, would equal to $37.75 a week, for each week in August. I should have been more than good for this month considering my payment was about $32 a week. But no. Then, at 10:30am they show up, walk I side my home without permission, and take the property I’ve paid on all summer. I asked them why I was told one thing on the phone, and another thing happened instead. They basically do what they want, despite what other members on their team say. Had I paid them another $58 yesterday, that would’ve left me paying $209 this month for a tv. I was 4 days late, and communicated that with them. Which, according to my bank statements, and the amount on the contract, I wasn’t late. I had over payed. If I want the product back, I have to go in, reapply, and start over as a new customer. And wait for delivery.Go somewhere else. Far from this business. Bank statements aren’t good enough proof. No matter if you’re right, they will blow up your phone, along with your family and friends phones, and demand payment. I promise you will regret bringing this store any business. You will thank me later.

I enjoy the service given me as I purchased an appliance and a piece of furniture with affordable payments. What upset me is the unexpected visit from one of the drivers, knocking at my door and announcing himself several times Rent-a-Center!... Rent-a-Center! My dogs started barking and I got to wondering if I totally misunderstood what he was saying. Could it have been Gary Police!... Gary Police! Did something happen!?Any way, I was told that they had been trying to reach me. I didnt know that and I didnt think my next payment wasnt due until the following weekend. So I called and made an extra payment and with a few jokes, etc, all was well. I made sure to program their numbers correctly into my cell phone afterwards, however for I DO NOT like creditors making home visits inquiring about payments late in the afternoon and I may not do business with them again.

This was the worst experience I have had in a long time.I have never and will never rent furniture again.They blew my phone up the day my payment was due as if I don’t work.They was very unprofessional,ghetto and just all around ridiculous.The rac on 5th Avenue in Gary Indiana need to be closed down.I will continue to call customer service on them and right reviews on the bbb as much as possible.I hate them
