I had a wonderful experience shopping at New York Bride and Groom of Raleigh. Before visiting this store, I went to 13 different bridal stores and tried on almost 100 gowns, but just couldnt find what I was looking for. Taylor helped me find my dream dress and went the extra mile for me to be able to try it on in my size in the store! She didnt have to go through all that extra trouble to help me get my dream gown, but she did, and I am so thankful for that. I had a wonderful experience and I am SO happy I shopped here! 10/10 Recommend! (Also, the fitting rooms are HUGE with enough seating room for all your guests, they do in-house alterations, and you are free to shop around the store at your own pace!!)

I wish i could give this Bridal Salon 10 stars!!!Long story short my daughter’s wedding dress was ruined by the seamstress at another Bridal shop.A week before her wedding and we couldn’t get anyone to call us back.My daughter found New York Bride and Groom of Raleigh online and they were so sympathetic when she called.When we went we were greeted by Julie who really knows her business and made us feel hopeful from the start. She asked pertinent questions and went right to work. Th every first dress she picked was the ONE!! It was perfect, in our price range and my daughter actually loved it more than her original dress. The selection is enormous they have very current styles.Everyone was so kind and came to cheer us on! Their concern and Joy felt so genuine.Elise helped us with a constant smile and brought us to alterations where Nadia the seamstress so very graciously said she would have the alterations in time for the wedding.From start to finish the level of professionalism and warmth was so greatly appreciated.I would encourage any and every bride in need of a wedding dress to run not walk to New York Bride and Groom of Raleigh!These wonderful ladies saved the day in a huge way!!

I should have done this 2 years ago, when I got my dress originally, but I forgot. The staff were super helpful and welcoming and their selection is huge and wonderful. Because its been so long though, I forgot the name of the person who helped me, but she was fantastic. She was extremely attentive to what I wanted and needed and was absolutely wonderful. It took a total of 11 dresses - some of them for fun! - but in the end, it was her pick that made me cry and say yes to the dress. It was her pick that had me feeling that moment that brides normally feel and it was wonderful. Im so grateful to her and cant thank her enough!

I went here as the first place to try on wedding dresses and it was a great experience! They have a huge selection of dresses and the staff were all very friendly without being overwhelming or pushy. I highly recommend trying this place first before smaller boutiques. Prices were also very reasonable and I was able to easily find dresses in my budget.

New York Bride & Groom in Garner is the best! The experience was super uplifting and fun. The space is bright and clean and beautiful. The staff are SO HELPFUL and kind. Veronica was my helper and she gave us the perfect amount of space while still providing prompt and professional assistance. I never felt uncomfortable or pressured.I brought my mom, grandma, and sister with me and we were all able to fit very comfortably in a fitting room together; they had comfortable chairs and a couch to sit in inside the fitting room. I was even able to have a privacy wall for changing. They have a HUGE selection and you are empowered to choose your own dresses off the rack. I went to other stores and did not enjoy the experience as much as I enjoyed NY Bride & Groom. I ended finding my perfect dress here and had a lot of fun doing it! Cannot recommend it enough.

John at NYB&G was incredible at helping my wife and I find the perfect suite for the wedding. He was extremely patient with us and made sure that we were entirely satisfied. The suites came in 8 days early and in plenty of time to make adjustments if things didnt fit (but they did because John is very meticulous with measurements). I highly recommend any men looking for wedding attire to go see John. He is the absolute best in the industry for all of the triangle.

This place is beautiful and the people were welcoming when we walked in. Lots of options. However, not a single staff member was wearing a mask.We also had a very bizarre experience where my partner was measured and then given pants and a coat to try on that were like 2 sizes too big for him. We pointed this out to the man and he brought literally the exact same pant a second time. They fit like pajamas. He also brought a dress shirt and said “it’s probably going to be too small.” It was. It was such a surreal, uncomfortable experience.Immediately afterward we went to Men’s Warehouse and had an experience that was ten million times better. The people were kind and knowledgeable and the process was seamless.This place is probably fine for brides (and people who don’t care about wearing masks) but people looking for suits should go elsewhere. We also found out that the measurements the guy took were way, way off.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I had the best experience here, the whole staff went above and beyond for me to find the dress of my dreams. I am a Curvy Bride and they have a very wide selection to choose from and they make you feel just as worthy and beautiful. The owner went out of her way to help me as well and provided the highest customer service! They have HUGE rooms for you to try on your dresses and great prices for the quality of the dress! BEST EXPERIENCE!

I walked in with no appointment on a Saturday and was instantly greeted and welcomed! The staff was outstanding and attentive despite it being a busy Saturday...each person listened to my dream dress and did everything they could to find it and pull it off the rack. Taylor was the biggest help to us! She asked the alterations people if they could cut slits I was looking for/add fabric where I wanted it/etc. She made sure my dream dress was my reality, even if it meant having some custom work. Great experience! I walked out with my dream dress!!

I was greeted by several women upon entering and they were all so welcoming! Big shoutout to Jordan for all of her help today! Such a kind young lady who was not overwhelming but eager to help in every way possible.

Taylor was so helpful during our visit! My bridesmaids and I were overwhelmed by the amazing selection and thought it was going to be impossible to choose, but within an hour and a half I found “the one”! Taylor gave invaluable insights that made the process so easy and was mindful of my preferences, timeline, AND budget. Can’t wait for my next fitting! After visiting two not so great bridal shops, going to New York bride and groom was absolutely needed! Their WIDE selection was welcoming and I knew I would have plenty of options (even knowing exactly what I wanted). My girls and I took the shop by storm since we knew what we wanted and the staff was extremely accommodating; especially since we showed up at 4:30 with 30 minutes until close! I didn’t give them the opportunity to pamper me because of the time constraint I put on them but they were fabulous. Every staff member stayed until I left the store and YES I found my dress here (in 20 minutes)! Also they have wonderful mirrors that allow you to see the back of your dress without wrenching your back to turn around. This shop is a must on your journey to finding that perfect dress!

It is a beautiful store. They have the largest dressing rooms I have seen. The dressing rooms accommodate the bridal party. You are allowed to shop and take the dresses to the room on your own if you prefer to shop alone (which is the best part). The staff was ready to help when they were needed. We found the dress at multiple authorized shops but my daughter preferred to purchase here. Dresses ranged form maybe $700 to $2500 from what I seen.

Very happy with my experience at New York Bride this past weekend! I found my dress on my first visit and it was the first shop we visited. The staff was very kind and helpful and also provided that necessary honest reality check when needed! The selection is unrivaled in Raleigh, many options and they had the majority of the dresses I knew I wanted to try after researching their designers. I do not usually post reviews but I wanted to let any future brides know what a great experience it was as dress shopping can be a daunting task, they will take care of you here. I am looking forward to my dress coming in and will update the review then as well!

I ABSOULTLY HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE A Bride can ever ask for!!! I called this morning explaining the situation and when my mom and I entered the store we were immediately greeted with lots of happiness, and joy and having so much faith!!! Julie, Elise and Nada and the rest of the bridal consultants made us feel so welcomed and they made sure we knew that we would leave with such an amazing experience!!!! I haven’t purchased a dress yet, but I walked in on a Saturday without an appointment and was treated so well! I’m glad this was my first stop, and the experience makes me want to buy from them! The only negative is the size selection. Most of the dresses that I saw were size 10 and under (and you have to size up in wedding dresses). While that mostly worked for me, there were a couple dresses that I wanted to try but were too small to fit over my hips, and I just couldn’t get an idea of how the style would look on my body in the proper size. I think that’s an industry problem and not specific to this store, just a little frustrating.

I was so nervous going into a dress shop for the first time.. but the second I walked in to New York Bride & Groom, the nerves went away! There was a smile on every face, everyone greeted me & my group & they were eager to help! I had the PERFECT experience & found the PERFECT dress for my big day! The consultant who helped me made me feel beautiful in every dress & had great suggestions for me to try on. I highly recommend going with a family owned & operated dress shop, not a negative thing to be said!

This place is a hidden jewel. From the minute we walked in the door, the customer service was top notch. The layout is breathtaking, and the dresses look as if they came straight off the runway in NY. I had such an amazing time shopping for my wedding dress. This was an experience of a lifetime. I recommend every bride to check this place out, you will not regret it. I said yes to the dress to NY Bride & Groom of Raleigh, and thank you to the entire staff for making me feel so special.

Highly recommend. My daughter had a wonderful experience. She actually found the dress she wanted at a different boutique where her experience was awful! She was determined to find the dress she liked somewhere else and found it at this shop. The experience with the ladies in the shop was wonderful! They were all attentive..excited for all the brides in the shop searching for their dresses..and made my daughter feel special. The selection of dresses was wonderful. We all had such a good time and so excited my daughter was able to say yes to the dress she really wanted and in a shop where the people genuinely cared about the overall experience. Even though we had to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to get there it was worth it. The dress did cost just a bit more than the other shop but we just could give our business to such a bad experience. Very helpful people ..huge selection..great experience!

NYB&G Raleigh is the perfect place to get find your dream dress! Highly recommend! Suzie and Liz were super informative, helpful, and warm. They provided me with tons of different options that fit what I was looking for, but also suggestions that pushed my boundaries which was great. Taylor was extremely welcoming and acted as the perfect liaison! Everyone made me feel super comfortable and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience for me. And on an equally important note - the dresses are GORGEOUS!

Highly recommend for your wedding dress needs! I went on a weekday with my mom and friend and had the best experience! The staff were very helpful in finding exactly what we were looking for and adding the perfect accessories! The alterations process was so easy and the dress fit perfectly after final pick up!

This store is so big and beautiful! So many more dresses than any other bridal store I’ve ever been in! Taylor was hospitable and really easy going through such a stressful process and made it easy to narrow down the dress right for me!

The girls that helped me were amazing!! The customer service was great… they were attentive, kind, excited and quick.I wish there was a wider selection of basic lace or boho style, but they did have a lot to choose from.Thanks for all your help ladies!Post script-I tried my dress on for my mom and sister last night and they noticed that the zipper was pulling away from the dress and it looks like a few loose stitches had been added, but even if you’re buying off the rack, you don’t expect that it’s about to fall apart. Is this something that your alterations people can fix?! The rest is just fine, but that’s a little unacceptable when the girls helping me didn’t even let me know?

A personal dressing room, no time limit on your stay, and trying on as many dresses as I wanted until I said yes was the most perfect day for me! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The dressing rooms are absolutely perfect for your group and it’s private. The staff is wonderful in making sure you feel comfortable in each dress you try on! The section with all the mirrors to see the dress from all angles is amazing. I had such a great experience here and I absolutely LOVE my dress!!

New York Bride & Groom gave me an amazing experience when looking for my wedding dress! They had exactly was I was looking for and they were so accommodating and helpful. Their store is clean, beautiful, and very large with a wide variety of dresses sorted by designer. I loved being able to see my dress at multiple angles in their mirrors and banging the gong when I decided to go with it! I cant wait for my dress to come in!

My visit to NY Bride& Groom was great! All of the staff was so kind. My consultant was very helpful and knowledgeable. I said “yes to the dress” and couldn’t be more thrilled!The selection was incredible, so many dresses to choose from no matter your style! I loved the private dressing rooms, it felt like a really intimate moment to share with my mom and sisters trying on dresses for the first time!Of note, the consultant did not help me into dresses. She stepped out while I changed and once ready I opened the curtain and she came in to clip the dress to be more fitted. I would suggest bringing someone you’re comfortable getting up close and personal with to have an extra set of hands when changing in/out of dresses.Overall, I am so happy and thrilled with the dress shopping process so far and would highly recommend them!

My mom and I went together one afternoon just to get ideas for my November wedding, and ended up spending most of the afternoon there. Everyone there is unbelievably attentive, personable, and helpful every step of the way. The girls that helped me went above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress. I never felt rushed or pushed. The experience that we had there was so enjoyable, AND I found my absolute dream dress!!

Went here (and 5 other shops) in 2018 with my sister and went back to get her dress… now 2021 it’s my turn and I couldn’t think of a better place to get my dress! Best selection, nicest staff, beautiful dresses!! Cannot recommend this place enough!

They had so many options to choose from. They are a large store, but the customer service experience was top notch. I went in on a Monday, so perhaps that affects the experience, but I was given plenty of one-on-one attention. They provided me recommendations and a tailored experience. They were also incredibly nice people. The expanded hours and no appointment needed were a big benefit compared to boutique stores I went to. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at New York Bride and Groom of Raleigh! They are so patient in helping you find the dress perfect for you. They are not pushy at all. I had Susie help me and she was the BEST! I’m super indecisive and was very nervous about making this big decision and she asked all the right questions to help me pick my dress! Susie was so incredible in helping me find my dream dress! As I tried on numerous dresses, she picked up on subtleties of what I liked and pulled more dresses that she thought would work. I had narrowed my options down to two but she noticed that a different dress on a nearby rack kept drawing my eyes when I walked past; she said Im pulling that- you cant keep your eyes off of it and it ended up being the one! Absolutely wonderful experience. Let me start off by saying if your someone like me who struggles with scheduling or knowing where to go or what options to pick this place is for you. No appointment needed.I started my day off hitting bridal store after bridal store only to find out you couldnt just walk in or even look around. I was referred to this store by a boutique store in Raleigh after not being able to look at their dresses. I am SO happy they did this.Walking in the place just made you feel like you were in an episode of say yes to the dress seriously so glamorous. Dresses upon dresses upon dresses. All shapes, all styles, all sizes. Even some for us big girls. They greeted me at the front of the store with a huge welcoming smile. They asked me some questions and took me straight to a dressing room. Without an appointment. The dressing room was set up so you and your bridal party could have all the privacy you wanted. There are chairs for family and friends to sit in and a wall so brides can try on dresses without showing off the good if you catch my drift. After you got over the initial Oooo moment and tried to quit grinning haha, the sales associate walked you through the selections and let you know how the store was set up. The sales associates let you pick dresses you like, try them on, and checked in on you periodically to see how you were doing and to help you find other options if needed. Once you have that This might be the one moment they take you over to what I call the room of mirrors so you can see from almost all angles how stunning you look in your dress. My favorite part other than finding THE dress was banging on the gong, because Im a big child at heart, to let everyone in the store know that you have found the ONE. I will definitely refer all of my friends, when the time comes, to come back here. Last but not least they are designer dresses so be prepared to spend a dollar or two or three. The experience alone is worth at least looking in my opinion. They also have a section for mens suits and such, which is nice.

Called ahead to assure that walk-ins were okay for groomsmen attire, and they were (and very pleasant on the phone). Once we arrived there was a small wait since they were very busy at the time, but everyone was nice and very helpful. We went in with a vague idea of how we wanted my groom to look on the big day and after trying a number of options came to the conclusion of building a custom suit. Even while building a custom suit, it was more cost effective than what we were quoted at some custom bespoke places. Mr. Bobby Brooks was our customer service representative and he is as helpful as he is fashionable. This was my second experience here. My first being my first dress shopping trip. I ended up not getting a dress that day, and followed a designer to a different boutique, but my experience the first time gave me a good feeling about coming back for our guys wear. Cant wait to get the rest of the groomsmen in and see what the complete look will be! Thanks NYBG for being so accommodating and helpful even on a busy Saturday!

If I could give 5000 stars, I would!! I mean the staff at New York Bride and Groom made my experience the BEST! They don’t accept appointments so I was initially a little nervous of how things would go. Buttttt let me tell you, they met me at the door with HIGH energy, escorted my family and I to our personal room (which was spacious and beautiful) and they let us look through their beautiful, variety of dresses! Michelle and the crew were incredible! Thanks again guys!

The entire experience here is AMAZING! From private dressing rooms with your party. To full access to the gowns on the floor. Dress shopping was so much fun and worry-free, exactly what it should be. We worked with Taylor who was an absolute dream, and could have just as easily been a friend we brought with us! 100% recommend this place for all your wedding shopping needs (including menswear too!)

I said yes to the dress!The dress shopping experience was definitely different than the other shops I had stopped by whereas here we kind of did our own thing when it came to picking dresses and the bridal consultants came if called on for advice or when needed help trying on a dress. We brought 2 babies with me which was an added plus with our own little room to let them hang around. That being said NYB&G had a huge selection of dresses on the floor to choose from, the bridal consultants were AMAZING especially Susan, Eliza & the lady who searched high and low for a chapel veil that I fell in love with. They do an amazing job hyping you up, making you feel great and snatching that waist in for mermaid/trumpet silhouettes, lol!Only little downside was the final sales person that dealt with the transaction part. She made me feel a little uneasy when she recommended I purchase my dress off the rack when I felt I would need a size down (based on how much they had clipped) but she said she recommended the current size based on how she saw the dress on me. Oh, I now remember I was never measured to see what size I would be recommended from the size chart. She also assured me that some makeup stains would be spot cleaned and removed prior to alterations. So although it did make me feel a little uneasy I hope her experience made for the right decisions come alterations (not having to adjust much based on size) and the big day in May. During the transaction I mentioned I would like the receipt emailed, she mentioned she would do that for me and then received nothing :( I called the following day about no receipt and for some professional photos of my dress (since it was a NYB&G exclusive) and within the hour I received my receipt and professional photo of my dress to show off to my grandmother in another state.Overall I would definitely recommend NYB&G to any future brides who knows what they may want and likes to not feel so pressured (like I was) at other bridal shops around the area! Finding the perfect dress can be overwhelming. Luckily, I had Sara right by my side to help me navigate through the massive selection. I walked out finding my dress even though I hadn’t expected to! The store was clean, organized, and filled with designer dresses at incredible prices. There is a dress for everyone here. Five stars for an incredible experience!

I had an awesome experience here trying on wedding dresses! Suzie and everyone there were great..they had a huge selection of dresses & I did find THE dress. I would definitely recommend checking them out.

The staff is very nice, but I definitely would unfortunately not recommend coming here if you are at all plus sized. I completely understand that bridal sizing runs a bit higher, but I was very disheartened with the amount of options to choose from for me to try on. I am a size 14-16.The plus size dresses are marked by a brown wooden hanger, which is helpful to tell them apart, but they’re all kept between 2 dark hallways. I would say there’s maybe 75 or so dresses to look at. That may sound like a lot, but if you look at the number of “regular” size dresses available, it doesn’t even compare. I walked in feeling excited and after maybe 7 minutes of browsing the small selection of plus size dresses available, I had seen them all and was left feeling like I wasn’t the same as any other bride. It was kind of embarrassing.Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I was jealous of seeing the other brides be able to have hundreds and hundreds of options to try on and go around the entire store while I was limited to a hallway tucked in the side of the store.The staff did note a lot of the other dresses could be ordered plus size, but how am I supposed to get an idea of what I’ll look like in it? I am definitely not saying to have an option of everything in plus to try on- just a few more options in some different styles, and maybe not all of them in a dark hallway?I found a dress there I liked, but I ended up going to Simply Blush Bridal where there were tons of dresses I could try on.

Great experience!! I got my dress here and it was great service. The environment is beautiful and the dresses are stunning. They really made me feel special. Definitely go here to look for dresses!!

Great men’s suit and tux selection, wonderful staff, everything was timely and delivered as promised. My wife very VERY happy with her dress! My Tux rentals left me wishing I bought the tux rather then renting. Great choice if you need stylish wedding wear or need some stylish formal wear for any event!

5 Stars all across the board!!! I have been to 7 or 8 stores in the area to shop for a bridal gown and I am SO glad that I said yes to the dress with New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh! First of all, I LOVE that they do not require appointments - shop when the mood strikes! This is important because the last thing you want to do is shop when youre really just not into it. Second of all, their plus size section is great! Some stores only have 3 or 4 dresses but NY Bride & Groom must have at least 50 if not more. So many beautiful styles to choose from in ALL Sizes but the plus size styles are incredible and they dont lack style just because they are plus size. Third - the STAFF! Every single person I encountered was so kind, made me feel SO comfortable and welcome, and there was NO pressure to try on or purchase a dress that wasnt my style. I appreciate their honest comments and to not just tell me that a dress looks good so that I would buy it. Also - special shoutout to Taylor!! She was such a wonderful help, has such a kind personality, and we vibed so well. She truly made me feel so welcome and gave me honest opinions that I truly appreciated. She is a dream to work with and I would recommend her to anyone for bridal styling. Susie was so amazing as well! Fourth - the prices!!! SO reasonable. But seriously, 5 stars for this whole experience. If you are in the market for a bridal gown, you need to go here!!

I had been here with a few friends when they were looking for wedding dresses, so I knew I wanted to come here when it was my turn to buy a dress. There are so many choices and at a great budget. The ladies are so sweet and make you feel very comfortable. It was such a wonderful experience and something I will cherish forever.

Great experience. I found my wedding dress here. Wonderful selection with lots of options. Staff was helpful and made me feel comfortable. I found my dress on the 1st try. Would highly recommend. Dont know where dress prices start but I tried on some that were in the 1k range and some were in the 2k range.

New York Bride and Groom of Raleigh was nothing short of amazing. I feel so bad that I cannot remember the name of the girl who helped me, but she was absolutely fantastic. Because of her, I only tried on about 5 dresses and found the perfect one (at a reasonable price too)! Their selection is AMAZING too! I love how there are no appointments, and the environment is so casual and fun. My bridesmaids and I had a ball, and it was never stressful. I got so many compliments on my dress and I know it is all because of their awesome team. I could not recommend them enough!

Went to this gorgeous bridal shop in August 2019 to find a gown for my daughter . I was very surprised at the selection of gorgeous gowns and how nice this store is inside . It is very spacious and has private rooms for the bride and friends to hang out while selecting a gown . They have a long hallway of mirrors to give the bride a look at her selections from every angle. The young woman helping was right there to help with any gowns that might need buttoning etc. Very satisfied and we found my daughters dream gown .

NY Bride & Groom located in Garner, NC was amazing!!!! The store is bigger and it has way more to offer than the Charlotte location. The ladies that work there were great to work with and they know their stuff! Now Abby, my consultant, listened to all of my needs, understood my theme of my wedding, and she found the perfect options for me to try on. Ultimately,that lead me to saying ‘Yes to the dress!!’ during my first visit! If you are looking for a place to start dress shopping or if you haven’t had any luck anywhere else, definitely check this store out! I had a great experience with New York Bride and Groom! There is such an expansive array of affordable dresses to choose from. I appreciated the help from more than one person! I also enjoyed the fact that you could try on as many dresses as you wanted. Walk-ins only but I went during the evening so maybe one other person was there trying on dresses.Luckily for me, I was able to say YES to the first dress I tried on!!!!

I was so happy with the dress I found at NY Bride and Groom of Raleigh! This was the second bridal store I had tried in the area, not expecting to find my dress right away. They made shopping a breeze, as they have walk-in service and decent hours so that I did not have to wait several weeks for an appointment. The staff and owner made finding the dress super easy. I tried on several gowns, and with the help of the staff and owner, was about to narrow it down to the one! It was a Casablanca brand, so I had special alterations done directly through the manufacturer to make it perfect for me. After the dress arrived, I was so happy with the results of the custom alterations! Additionally, the alterations department onsite helped to make it the perfect fit. I cant say enough great things about this bridal shop! You will not be disappointed!

Nicole was who helped me and my squad on first visit. I couldnt stop thinking about that one dress!! I called and got Nicoles schedule so that she could pull that dress. An unscheduled visit was fast, I got a dressing room though they were very busy. Tried it on one more and said, Yes to the dress! Thank you New York Bride and Groom, and thank you Nicole!!

Everyone in this store is amazing!!! I was very indecisive and tried on SO many dresses, and they were all so patient and accommodating. I had previously gone to a very up-tight bridal shop in another state where you had a time limit and could not pull any of your own dresses to try; that is so not the case here! You can take as much time as you need (with no appointment needed!) and they will let you walk around to choose your own dresses to try on or they can bring you suggestions as well to find what you love. Their selection is full of some of the best big-name designers, and at the lowest price point I have seen compared to other shops! If you want to find THE dress and have fun doing so, go to NYB&G!!! First time trying on dresses and Abby was so helpful and sweet! We were greeted at the door and shown to a fitting room immediately! After letting my mom and I pull and try on a few gowns by ourselves...Abby saw what I was looking for and asked about my preferences (necklines.. beading.. trains etc) she brought me the perfect combination of what I was looking for in a dress! Even grabbed a tiara and veil for me to try on to complete the princess look! I definitely recommend this place! Abby dont be surprised if you see us again this week with my father in tow!😂🤞😍

I had the most amazing experience!! Highly recommend. Their gowns are gorgeous, unique and reasonably priced. Austin was incredible!! She was able to understand my style and found my dress!! It is perfect and I am so grateful to her. She pulled a gown that I would have never chosen for myself but it was the one!! I could not recommend them more.

New York Bride & Groom is absolutely the best bridal shop around. I myself worked in bridal sales for approx 6 years before moving to NC, so when it came my time to shop for my dream dress, I will definitely say I had high expectations. Furthermore, as a plus-size bride I knew that my shopping adventure would not be an easy one.I visited New York Bride & Groom first simply because of their close location to me. Despite reading on their site that they accommodated plus-sizes, I was still worried. However, the second I stepped into the store I felt at ease, and instead of expecting the worst, immediately knew that the process would be fun!The store was organized in such a way that I didnt have to be veered off to a remote corner of the store, simply because of my size limitations. This was a huge plus for me. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The dressing rooms were large and high-end.In addition to my high expectations and size limitations, I also was getting married in 3 months (my now-husband is in the military and an upcoming deployment moved up our timeline). The sales team not only turned me towards the dresses that I could take home that day - they actually recommended to me the dress that I chose! The size was absolutely perfect (no alterations needed!) and the design was incredibly flattering. Whats even more was the price was incredible (due to an off-the-rack sale).I would absolutely recommend this shop (and already have to a bride that bought her dress here last weekend)!Tldr; The store is amazing and accommodated my tight budget, size limitations, short timeline, and high expectations. Dont buy anywhere else!

My consultant, Ashley, I will always think of as my fairy-godmother! Not only were there beautiful rooms for you and your entourage, they had all styles of dresses for all sizes! As a plus-size bride, I felt completely welcomed and she made me feel beautiful the entire time. After picking a few on my own to try on, she brought me the perfect dress that I fell in love with, and am so thankful for this experience! A few months before my wedding I wanted to get ideas on what style of wedding dress that I liked. We came to NYB&G just to look with my one year old nephew in tow. The sales associate was super friendly and so helpful! She went out of her way to pick out dresses that she thought I may like. I fell in love with one that day and made the purchase. The dress came in half time that I was told and when I went for alterations they were super friendly and understanding of needs and concerns. The dress and veil were absolutely stunning on my wedding day and I would highly recommend NYB&G to anyone buying a wedding dress.

I got engaged on Christmas Eve with our wedding planned for just one month later. I was overjoyed that the shop was able to find and order me my dream gown in my exact size on a very short time frame when another shop told me it wasn’t possible on my timeline. The dress came in record time and then shipped from the shop to me in Virginia with plenty of time for length alterations. The dress was immaculate and I felt like a princess and got soo many compliments. The women at the shop were so positive, professional and helpful and I feel like they really cared about me and my special day!

My daughter and I took a spontaneous trip yesterday and walked out with a gown. We only had to wait a very short amount of time. I loved that we could just walk in. We were helped by a lovely associate named Abby, who was so sweet and patient with us. We completely lost track of time while there and although we ended up being in the store for 4 hours (which really only felt like 1 1/2 at the most) we never felt rushed. Every one at NY Bride & Groom were extremely helpful! They were patient and pulled dressed based on the styles I liked. Each time I walked into their store, I felt comfortable and relaxed. The first time I went, Taylor helped me and was amazing! She picked styles for me to try based on pictures I saw and other dresses I tired on. I went back a second time and Ashley was my consultant. Unparalleled level of compassion and commitment! I went to NY Bride & Groom solely based on suggestions from brides and I was SO impressed. We were greeted and led to a gorgeous dressing room where my mom and sister could relax while I tried on dresses (there is a privacy curtain so you can try on the dress alone, as well). The staff here completely blew me away - they knew when I may need help getting a dress on and picked out dresses that I had no idea would look so amazing on me. Every single dress they picked out was a dream - I barely had to lift a finger! and when I found a dress I loved, they knew to add a veil/cape to complete the look without us saying a word. Although I did not buy a dress here, I have no problem saying this place is well worth your time if you are looking for a reasonably priced, yet high quality dress with a WONDERFUL staff who assist you every step of the way.

The entire experience of NY Bride and Groom was nothing short of amazing. I had an appointment at Carolina Bridal World in Smithfield before coming to NY, and truly felt like I was just going to have to settle on something. When I walked into NY, my jaw literally dropped because the place is absolutely gorgeous inside. All of the dresses are on display (instead of being in their bags) and my bride tribe was able to walk around and pick out dresses for me to try on. My sister was the one to find the perfect dress for me. Our assistant (not sure of her name, but she was wearing a pretty polka dotted dress!) was wonderful and so friendly. When I had picked out my dress, I felt like all the assistants were happy for me and cheering me on. I highly recommend NY Bride and Groom. Their selection is amazing, so you will definitely find something that makes you feel absolutely beautiful!!!
