Great experience with my repair.I was in an accident and the repairs were done quickly, but due to labor and shipping issues, my part was not able to be shipped from the manufacturer for months.Coats auto body always gave me, at minimum, two updates per week and went above and beyond to get the part from another source.Not only did they get me back in my car months sooner than if I had to wait for the dealer, but they even cleaned and detailed the car before I picked it up.Couldnt be more happy with the results and service.I highly recommend them if you need auto work done.

Just had Coats fix up a ding in my bumper that was affecting my blind spot monitors on my 2020 Mazda last week and cannot rate them highly enough! The girls in the front office, as well as their production manager, kept me up to date on the repairs every step of the way so there were absolutely no surprises. They helped get everything lined up with my insurance before the repair and their customer service was top notch overall. They made the whole process super easy for me. Plus, the repair looks great and my blind spot monitors are functioning properly again! Hoping to not need their services again anytime soon, but if I do, I know where I’ll be going for car repairs.

This is the second car I have had repaired at this body shop. This time it was my Lexus that hit a deer. I was worried it would not come back in the shape it was before i hit the deer. It They did a great job getting it back to original condition especially with matching the paint. Matt was great to work with and communicated with me throughout the whole process, which was extensive since my car is a hybrid which makes it harder to work on. The women who work upfront and the phones are some of the nicest people I have dealt with, and go out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable in a difficult time. If there is a problem they will check it out and if they cant find the fix they will go out to a third party to help find it. Very pleased with my whole experience.

Had a pretty impressive dent on my hood from a work place incedent. The third party company that damaged the truck told me to get a couple estimates and that they would get a hold of who ever I decided to get the work done by and they would cover the charges with credit card over the phone. I decided to go with Coats and they were very easy to deal with with the pay by phone situation of the third party. They got the work finished quickly and even stayed open an extra 30 minutes the night they finished so I could pick up my truck. They did an amazing job and made the experience easy going.

I was involved in a fender bender and my insurance sent me here. The staff and service were superb. From the front desk to estimate and repair. They did exactly what they said they would, in the time they said they would. They were friendly, reassuring, and professional. Excellent experience.

Im not from the area, and saw the reviews online for Coats. Stopped in for some basic repairs and was very impressed with the professionalism and customer service. After explaining the issues I was having, they were able to fix them very quickly and get me back on the road. I really appreciate it!

Top notch service with a team that truly cares about your vehicle and your satisfaction. My vehicle looked better than it did when I purchased it! Although the repair time took a little longer than expected, they were very communicative throughout the entire process and explained in detail what was occurring. Customer service goes above and beyond what is expected. Fought for me to help reconcile a discrepancy with my insurance company and followed up with me a few days later after they completed repairs to make sure the issue was handled. Coats was highly recommended to me and now I highly recommend them!

First off, out of the places i checked out and all the reviews I read, this is where i decided to take my Honda after it got side swiped by a deer.The staff are super nice and friendly, helpful. They walked me through what was going to be done and gave me a reasonable estimate on when it would be completed.I didnt have to wait for them to start working on it, they started the very next week.After receiving my car back, I had a couple of issues, and they addressed them promptly without hesitation.If I were to ever need this sort of service again, I would definitely bring my vehicle back for repairs.

Coats Auto in Garner did an amazing job fixing my Hyundai Tucson. When I left, I felt like I was driving a brand new car again. It had been cleaned on the inside and the repairs were even better than I imagined. They kept me updated during the entire process, were always available to answer my concerns and questions, and worked with my insurance. I am very pleased with their work and will definitely recommend them to anybody needing auto body work.

I have been here twice for a repair. They are the only people who could fix my rear end damages before October Everybody else was late in October. I got a call on September 19Th telling me my car was ready they wasn’t supposed to start on it until Sept 23 so I was very happy for the fast work and they did a VERY good job on my car it looks brand new. The owner and her sister are very sweet ladies very professional i really appreciate that and if I get into anymore damages I will be returning thank you Coats

Rear ended recently, so I was in need of body work. I highly recommend Coats in Garner and Raleigh. Friendly and competent staff. My SUV is looking like new. So glad to have my baby back. Shout out to Enterprise car rental on Wilmington Street. I got a Nissan Rogue, it was a smooth ride with lots of bells and whistles. I will miss the heated seats and the light that lets you know someone is beside you or coming up beside you.

Very impressed with the overall experience provided by Coats Auto Body. I called last week to get an estimate for a missing passenger side mirror and was scheduled quickly for the next day. Within five minutes, I had an estimate that was affordable and fair. The staff was friendly and reassuring.When I went in today, it took less than 30 minutes for them to put the new mirror on and it looks great. I would highly recommend Coats to any friend or family member in need of minor or major work. Definitely going to use them again if the need arises! My experience with Coats Auto Body & Paint in Garner, NC was an excellent one. Ernie and his co-workers repaired my car within the estimated time frame and it turned out good as new. I took my 2016 Kia Soul to Coats to have it fixed. They fixed everything, but when I drove the car home it wobbled like crazy. They said it was the brakes and they were going to submit the supplemental to the insurance. I called the insurance and they told me the supplemental was never filed, instead Coats had only asked a question. I called back and they told me to take the car to the dealer and have everything else fixed. What in the world. They fix my car and then when I have issues with it, they want someone else to fix their mess. I thought they offered a lifetime guarantee and went through the entire car before they submitted the quote to the insurance? Apparently not! They can handle a minor fix, but go somewhere else for major collision damage. Now I have a car that is too dangerous to drive with my two toddler sons and Coats is wiping their hands clean with everything and saying good luck with the corners we cut during the repair.Your response is a complete fabrication. The insurance agent never called me and my mailbox is not full, actually I have visual voicemail and it is empty. Your mechanic said that he balanced the tire, lie number one because I was outside watching him, he simply checked the alignment. Secondly, I was told that a supplement would be submitted by 2 different people and it wasnt done. Again, if a car is taken to you to fix, then the expectation is to actually fix the entire vehicle, not what you think may be wrong. I do not feel that it is right for a customer to take their car to another dealer to fix what you started. It must be nice to simply say, well take your car somewhere else to fix our mistakes. Customers can not respond to your reply directly, and now I know why you have so many positive reviews. Sho ever wrote this response must not be aware of the whole situation.

Someone pulled a hit and run on my 4 day old car. I called Coats for an estimate. They were able to get me in within 48 hours. They were friendly, explained everything, showed me what they would do, and price wise were at what another auto body place was. They provided me the paperwork to give to my insurance. So far so good.

Once again, we experienced not only excellent customer service, but a level of expertise that assures us that repairs are done correctly. With 3 daughters who seem to be accident prone, weve come to rely on Coats Auto Body to keep our cars on the road. As I was leaving Coats, Tana noticed a shield under the car that needed to be bolted back (something I had noticed, but ignored). She sent a technician out to repair it before I left, wanting to make sure the car was completely safe.

After my first accident, I took my car to Coats Auto Body for an estimate and repair. The employees were the absolute NICEST people I have ever met and made sure that I was well taken care of. I am so appreciative of how kind and helpful they were!

Over the top customer service! My girlfriend & I were in a horrible wreck. We had AAA & the tow truck hauled our totaled vehicle & us to Coats. We were a couple hours from home and were traumatized by the entire event, plus it was raining hard. The owner, Tana, greeted us and was truly concerned about our health first & foremost. She helped us in every way possible. We were waiting on our ride as it approached closing time & to our surprise, Tana got one of the employees to take us to Chic-fil-a where my daughter met us & drive us home. While we were there we engaged in pleasant conversation about life and the events that leave us helpless only to be worked out by God in the end. Through this conversation we discovered that her husband had to start battling cancer & my girlfriend had beaten cancer but still had to go to the countless appointments & stay on a strict regiment to stay cancer free. All of the employees were truly caring people & we strongly recommend Coats Body Shop to anyone & everyone that wants professional services and amazing customer service. They went far & beyond for us & actually made us feel good inside as well as lifting our spirits. To top it all off, when we were about to be taken to Chic-fil-a by one of the employees, Tana offered us $20 to get something to eat while we waited!! Truly a pay it forward person & a kind, gentle soul. We have kept in touch every since & we didnt spend a penny there. Just GREAT all around people! I hope whoever reads this will stop by and experience their professionalism and enthusiastic customer service. IM GIVING COATS 0 STARS BECAUSE THEY HELPED ME ZERO. I THOUGHT THEY WERE AAA ASSOCIATED, BUT I DONT THINK AAA WOULD BE HAPPY HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I CAME BY FRIDAY FROM OUT OF TOWN AT 430PM HEADING TO THE BEACH LOADED UP WITH 3 YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE JEEP CHEROKEE. I HAD A BRAKE CALIPER STICKING CAUSING THE JEEP TO TRY TO BRAKE ALL THE TIME AND SMOKE COMING FROM ONE OF THE WHEELS. IT WAS OBVIOUSLY AN EMERGENCY. THE MANAGER TURNED MY FAMILY AWAY AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE STILL OPEN FOR ANOTHER HOUR. THANKS ALOT FOR NOTHING. YOU COULD OF AT LEAST LOOKED AT MY JEEP. RUN FROM THIS PLACE.

I dont want to give a star. This place was HORRIBLE.....if u go here take someone with you or record every telephone conversation..I had hail damage to a 2011 Lexus so I decided to take my vehicle here. Day one the inspector told me he would fix some of the scratches I had on the door and bumper (excited)..then he called and said the job was going to cost more and that he couldnt fix scratch on door and bumper. Getting mad and confused so I decided to let him deal with my boyfriend ..kept car for 3 weeksTo make matters worse I pick up my car and there are additional scrathes on my hood and middle door pillars and compound in door jam and swirls in the paint ..they told me to bring back two weeks later and the replaced one door pillar and they buffed out scrathesNow I have a Lexus with one new door pillar (another old) some spots buffed out some not some part of the car look good some parts look old $6000 job look a hot mess ..i have pics but cant postVery unsatifed wont recommend to nobody ...These are the pic of 6000 dollars of shiity work on a Lexus....i just had work done Nov 2016 from an accident where the whole front was replaced so they are lying . ..Ernie dud tell me he would take out a scratch on the door and rear bumper ....i am complaining out the hood that I had done ...thete was no scratches...At the end if the day done if the car look good and other look old

I would not recommend Coats Autobody repair if customer service is important to you. Leah the office manager got into a verbal altercation with me over the phone, yelled at me, accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud, which was preposterous and hung up on me. She immediately called me back and when I didnt answer she yelled at me in an angry voicemail. Leah then called the autobodyshop I told her I was going to instead of Coats and accused them of stealing customers. I called the Raleigh location and let them know about her behaivor before writing this review as a courtesy to give them an opportunity to address it. They assured me they would talk to her and inform the owners.Guess what she did after they called her? She called me again!!!I dont know her, Ive never seen her. I simply wanted an estimate. Until she is gone, I would avoid this location and save yourself from a potentially disastrous experience. O stars .
