We went to look for a ATV. They were out of stock but we were told they had ones coming in the following Wednesday. We put down a deposit and waited for the call on the following Wednesday. Never got a call/update. Almost 2 weeks later we called and were told they were waiting on parts so they can assemble the ATV. What? They could not tell us a ETA on the parts or any information of when we might be able to get this ATV we put a deposit on. Long story short we got our money back and just got a brand new ATV today from another dealer. I wish there would have been better communication especially from a business with a good reputation.

Very bad experience. We tried to apply for a four wheeler and it took over 72 hours for a response ( CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW COME IT TAKES THIS LONG? When people there also applied and got a response that same day?) and to tell me it did not go through. I am taking this personal. It sounds like they simply dont like Hispanic people. We have been here several times and they come up with different excuses to not sale us the 4 wheeler. I am very disgusted and I will so very much let all the people I know how bad of a customer service they have. I will NO LONGER come to this store. I am better off just purchasing it somewhere else.

I visited my closest Honda dealer which is Team Power Sports in Garner. A Ride Specialist, Will Deorio approached me as soon as I entered and offered assistance. I was interested in the Rebel model for casual riding and was unsure between the 300 and the 500. After discussion I decided on the 500. After a few weeks it was delivered and I took possession on July 1. Will is very knowledgeable and was very courteous to me during my impatient wait for the bike. I know he is an asset to TPS. He right away new what would fit my style better (6’2” 280 lbs) and directed me toward an awesome bike (Honda NC750X). He listened to my needs and accommodated for a great experience (always checking in with me as we were waiting on lenders for financing, nothing on their end that they control there).Nonetheless, at the end of the afternoon I drove away on a new motorcycle!Will be back, that’s for sure :-).

I bought a 2020 ZH2 last month and the experience was beyond frustrating. It took two trips to the dealership due to complications on their end. Each round trip was 4 hours and then waited at the dealership for multiple hours each time. None the less I wanted the bike and was willing to pay the 15K+ price tag. However, the dealership refused to allow me to take it for a test ride.. So, I had to purchase the bike without knowing if I even enjoyed the ergonomics of the bike. Following the purchase of the bike, I began to running into problems. Stalling after startup, engine noise, chugging, and finally today I walked out of work to find a puddle of oil under the bike. After some research, I discovered the problem was the oil level. Keep in mind the dealership did a complete service before the bike left the dealership. (To include oil change) So, I tipped the bike up and looked at the sight glass on the side of the motor. The oil coved the entire sight glass, and the full marks are at the halfway point on the glass. The simplicity of filling a bike with oil to the proper level is the most basic skill. Who knows the damage that has been done to the motor from driving with over a quart of oil overfilled. Regardless of my buying experience, I would warn customers of their mechanics. The last thing anyone wants is to do is buy an expensive toy for it to be messed up by a basic mechanic job. I will say that my sales guy was great but the was the only good thing about this experience.

Great place to purchase from. After getting the run around from another dealership for two weeks I was finally able to get my new Wolverine Rmax with the help of DylanC at Team Powersports. Needed a new battery for a Honda Ruckus scooter so I figured I would give the local Honda dealer a try. They had one in stock, I picked it up Friday and installed it. It was so dead it wouldnt even light up the tail light on the scooter, a meter across the battery under load showed 8v. No problem, Ill just put it on the charger overnight and be ready to go in the morning. 12 hours later, I try to fire the scooter up... nothing. I move the battery to the bench and try to run a 12v load on it... drops to 8v immediately. Battery looks bad.I take it back that day, explained what I was seeing and they said store policy is that we have to test it first. Cool, because I think its bad and I want to make sure Im not crazy and cant test a battery.Their tester shows 6v. They dont agree its bad, just that it needs to be charged. I explained how I already charged it for 12 hours and ask them to swap me for a new one.Store policy is that they have to charge it and then I have to try again and then there is something about the warranty, etc. Its 3pm on Saturday so they cant charge it and Ill have to come back Monday or something and pick it up, then try it, then come back.Then of course there is the warranty thing, no mention of just swapping the defective battery out and letting me be on my way. That would make 4 trips to the dealer, and its not all that close to my house. My time isnt that valuable, but my not being frustrated by hours of driving around is.I left.Then i came back, and left the battery because I didnt want to have to dispose of it myself. (of course now I realize I have to take the old dead one in to recycle anyway).I went to another store on my way home, grabbed a battery (that they tested and showed me wsa good), dropped it in the scoot and it fired right up. Done.Lessons learned.... make a shop test the battery in front of you before you buy, or... buy online from a merchant who will do exchanges. Shop local sounds nice, until you have to deal with this nonsense.

Jared is very knowledgeable and helpful; any questions I had, he answered and provided great information. Macy was very helpful in looking up a bike cover and some pieces for a phone holder. Cathy went through with me thoroughly about the payments and such, shared some cool info about events. Mu showed me a spot to rest my heel and went through cc info and the back seat compartment. Dillon went through the maintenance info and specifics of keeping the chain lubricated, tire pressure and having the valve changed/adjusted. Chris helped run some paperwork and looked over my info. On the first 75 degree day after a long winter I was invited to ride with my buddies last minute. I called Team Power-sports and they had a tire in stock and jumped right on the job to get me on the road. Nathen in the service department really pulled through for me!! Jackson with the sales team was very nice but unfortunately the company uses shady car sales practices charging lots of unnecessary dealer fees. My particular scenario was a brand new atv purchase via cash and they wanted over $1300 in doc fees, freight fees, and assembly fees when paying full MSRP. Ended up calling another dealer for exact same atv for same MSRP price + tax and no fees saving over $1300. Hopefully this will save someone else 2hrs and their hard earned money, lesson learned you now have to always call ahead and get out the door cost.

TPS always has extra bikes used bikes for sale or new edition models. Easy to talk to staff who always have smiles and welcome you. I bought a 2018 Eluder and I very happy about the purchase and TPS was professional. Thanks TPS for making my dream come true with my dream motorcycle.

Respect, honesty and hard work, from Nathan the salesman to the sales manager and the finance manager. I was treated with respect and courtesy. They were very patient with me and never to busy to answer my questions. They knew I wanted to get the MT-09 Yamaha and they took a newer bike in our trade with no hassles. They worked very hard in finance to put it together as well and the sales manager was friendly to deal with while working out the numbers. The service department was nice and very informative during the new bike walk around. Most of all they have a lot of cool toys and accessories as well as clothing. They pretty much have something for everyone. In a society where customer service has taken a distant second, this place is an exception. They represented Yamaha very well and did them proud today. They even had demo bikes which was a big plug when making a purchase and making sure your getting the right bike for you. Any good repair shop is always busy, especially at the beginning of the riding season.I brought my Yamaha in for service. Nathan and Dillon were great. Professional, polite, and honest. My cycle had an electrical issue which they were able to diagnose and fix for less than they estimated.I am a happy customer and will recommend the service department to others.

After returning from a m/c tour of New England, my wifes trike needed some work prior to participating in a m/c safety course the following weekend. And, my trike needed an oil change. Nathan (service manage) helped to schedule the necessary work for both trikes such that after having dropped off my wifes trike, I could ride mine in & drive hers home ... later picking my trike up. Same day service; 2 trikes ... coordinating appointment times ... thats pretty convenient! Thanks to the folks at TPS.

I want to start out by acknowledging the pros. My husband purchased a raptor from here (awesome!), brand new in 2018 & has had several dealings with this location. The work has been phenomenal & the turn around time is amazing, but my complaint is the horrible customer service. Every single time that we visit this location, FOR ANYTHING - we aren’t greeted & a sales rep doesn’t pay us any of attention. However, guests who walk in behind us or while we are there are instantly greeted. This has happened on numerous occasions, until they realize that we have the money to purchase whatever we want, LEGALLY.I don’t want to pull the race card, but it’s hard to not notice that everyone else that they greet isn’t a minority. It definitely makes me want to take my business elsewhere b/c I’m tired of having to prove that I’m worthy of the same service!!!
