This place is great theres multiple places to eat. So you can make every one happy. An arcade coffee shop donut shop a brewery a chicken place. A Korean BBQ a burger place a Mexican place. they have a ping pong table a few connect 4 games, dog friendly. up front was kinda like a farmers market people selling bags and clothesAll out doors. Big. Cover to staying out do the sun or rain with lots of large tables to eat at 10 out of 10. Will definitely return. Everything had a food vibe

This was my first time here since it opened,great layout! All outdoor, artificial turf wood decking, sports events on large TVs just very comfortable. Update: Ive been there twice now once in the day time and now at night, it looks even better when it is lit up at night.I ate at the Taco stand place (pictures to come later). The do have a small second floor area for seating and a few smaller patios for a little bit more privacy if you have a larger party.

Great environment, the one thing I love about places like is the social environment. There is a similar place in Phoenix and just like that one there is a great selection of food and a craft beer location.

It was my first time here and went with a group of friends. Got here a little early around 11:30 and most places opened at noon.I love the concept of the whole place. Repurposed shipping containers were a great idea for restaurants and there are a lot of ways they tried to make the space interactive.There are yard games like a large Connect 4 or ping pong, there is a mini arcade, plenty of Instagram worthy photo ops, and a large covered central seating area that really makes you feel like youre part of a community picnic.I like the diversity of the food options; Mexican, Korean/Filipino fusion, donuts and more.Theres a large parking lot which is always a plus!Worth checking out! I went to school in the area as they were building this place and found it fascinating on the way they constructed it. It a good place to go and grab something to eat. Now only give 5 stars if a buisness is excellent and goes beyond what is expected and the different places you can choose to purchase your food is exactly what they do. They make you feel that they care about your buisness and that is great. Now I dont drink so I cant comment on that but the food is what really makes this place. Also its a great place for you to go with coworkers, buisness, friends and family so you have ma y reasons to visit. Enjoy the food relax and have a good time.

I had driven by and had not had a chance to go. Finally I did. I liked it. Food is a bit overpriced but thats usually the issue with a place like this. I think is was worth it for the experience and a time well spent. We ordered a burger from the penalty box which has a different twist on the burgers and it was delicious! If you want more than a basic burger you definitely have to come try it. And from Barrio (which is a Korean/Filipino place) we bought the shrimp skewers and a added a pork skewer. It was delicious. And they have the Wilson Creek Winery coming soon. I cant wait to come back !

Barrio is amazing!! The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming because its an open place.

I cant give a proper rating as the majority of the restaurants were closed down or not open yet because of CoViD i will give it 4 stars for the really cool open air facility these businesses are housed in. ive got my sights set on returning and grabbing some pizza and beer as soon as its safe again.

Good vibes and happy, Respectable people. workers wiping down all TouchPads, space is not an issue. people give you distance and this Friday special is really good. I recommend Fridays because the historic district nearby hosts an auto show and you can spend a good portion of your day with your date in this area alone. park at the McDonalds across the street and youre golden, ponyboy

Great environment and good beer and food. Theres plenty of seating, a small arcade table tennis and I saw a couple of table games floating around. There was live music the night I was there. Had our dog with us and there were an handful of others there as well. We had a great time.

Very nice and quiet, delicious food. Television were at a good sound level not overthrowing the family conversation, atmospheres was peaceful you actually enjoyed your food, great selection of vendors, 2 floor view was great, friendly people behind the counters, lots and lots of parking, small kiddie area for kids to be themselves and create whatever game they wanted.

The concept is fantastic! Dogs get to hang out too and super friendly to them! Perfect space between tables to give privacy and social distance. I would suggest to put more misters;) and kid friendly prices and meals.Alot of variety of food about 5-7 box cars, one with alcohol.My korean food was delicious, kind of food truck prices. So about $15 per person with a small drink.However I was dissapointed for my childrens burgers, $35 to feed two of them because that is what the guy suggested and we went with it, sadly they didnt love it either. They said they prefered their favorite whataburger meals, and left hugry.

DJ playing some tunes, kids playing ping pong and corn hole, lots of well behaved dogs on leashes.Happy to see Wilson Creek Winery is coming in but bummed it’s not open yet.We decided to try a few items. We started with beer & tacos, moved on to fries then finished with shrimp & grits. It was all fabulous.Plenty of dessert options as well. Coffee, ice cream, macaroons.Definitely coming back here!

Great outdoor seating, spacious and clean. The chicken joint was nothing short of dank. Local brewery was decent. Great haze!To top it off, a small arcade with only the finest games: Simpsons, Street Fighter 2, and of course House of the Dead 2. Get em bruhs.

I love this place. Each shipping container is a different restaurant, so everyone in your group can get something different. The seating is outdoors and spread out. They have several hand sanitizer stations. With wide aisles, it would be easily navigated by wheelchairs. Its even dog friendly.

Cute, bright and vibrant hangout place to enjoy with family and friends. This place is definitely guaranteed to bring more people into this part of town. Lots of awesome options to choose from: Honey & Butter, Cauldron, Beer, Chick N Shack, Tacos, Wilsons and more.At night, the place lights up and becomes a good spot for drinking. Although the parking is not great, its definitely a great place to go.

If you dont care about flavor and only care about what makes you feel good, then sure come here. Youll definitely feel good about being surrounded by something new with many photo opportunities to take photos to share to people who dont care at the end of the day, but again it makes you feel good doesnt it. Plaster your photos all of social media to fill that empty void. If you want a good cup of coffee, avoid Dark Horse. If you want to waste your money so you can increase your own personal cool factor, then by all means. But then dont complain that you love paycheck to paycheck or with roommates or your parents because you cant control your emotions.Get served some BS in a trendy atmosphere by some trendy chaps! 9.28.19 The latest installation of Steelcraft has woken up the city of Garden Grove! Opening weekend is a success. Thanks for bringing in this venue of eatery and entrepreneurship to the area. The hipsters and foodies like new things like this, I certainly do. The crowd was buzzing with excitement and joy. Just being in something new brings happiness to all here. This will be one of my lunchtime visits with my coworkers for sure. The tacos at Renegade tacos is so delicious. With so many choices, I just had to choose one for now and then leave room for dessert. The ice cream flavors at Cauldron ice cream are all delicious. I was able to get the sea salt caramel crunch. Wow! What a great combination of salt and sweet. Definitely worth the price. I will make many returns here to try all the food vendors. Visited today for the first time and it was awesome! Such a cool place to hang out with a beer from Beechwood Brewing, Fried Chicken, Burgers, Pizza, Asian Fusion, Donuts and an Arcade. I love these types of spots popping up and I would recommend going cause I cant wait to go back! Get place with kids or not, or just hang out. Love it!

In another time, I would think this is a food court at a dead mall. Half the units seem empty or waiting to open. But there are people eating and even a band. The food is pricey but taste great. Even the shipping container look is interesting.

Interesting place, very cozy and plenty of variety in terms of places to eat. Even had games around the place for kids, teens, and very drunk adults. Prices can be nuts though.

What a great place to hang out, especially when outdoor seating is important during a pandemic. I think this place will continue to thrive after this is over. Food - Its like a modern food court. No need to get your group to decide on one type of food. One of my favorite places was Cauldron Ice Cream. Unique flavors in a bubble waffle, yum!

SteelCraft GG has two level seating, huge screen TVs, multiple Cornhole games, plus foosball.There are a variety of food joints, Beechwood brewery and Wilson Creek winery is joining in on the fun soon.Minus: parking is a drag on the weekdays/nights and somewhat open on weekends with the surrounding parking.Overall not a bad spot to just hang out. The food joints werent really hitting the spot for me, so I wouldnt come back for the food. Not that food was bad, but just wasnt for me.Come check it out and see how you like it.

First visit here. We ate a place inside called Barrio. Delicious skewers and rice plates. Also, tried the calmansi juice. Definitely recommend. They have a nice, shaded area with tables. Really nice during the evening. Lots of space and room to sit and relax. After our dinner, we decided to indulge in the donuts from Duck Donuts. Super fresh and tasty.

Such a great place to go to especially during the pandemic. Tables are all spaced far apart and get cleaned frequently. There are many different food stations so there’s something for everyone

Had lunch on a Thursday here. Very cool place to go and grab a bite to eat. I had Filipino BBQ and the lemonade slushy @Barrio. They are fantastic. The BBQ skewers were flavorful and the garlic fried rice with egg was excellent. My daughter had a hot dog from Penalty Box. I also ordered the Vladimir poutine. The poutine was delicious and my daughter devoured her hot dog. The space had lots of games for entertainment. Theres ping pong, Cornhole, and a classic arcade. Its very easy to spot from the street, and theres plenty of parking.

Great open yard atmosphere for a sunny day of beers and burgers .. On the weekends they have live entertainment in the courtyard in the evenings .. A fun twist to the brewery scene theme .. :)

Live music, the game was on AND good food. We sampled food from every spot, everything was delicious but Barrio came in on top! Props to the band Red, they brought down the house and performed long past their original time! Big bonus, plenty of FREE parking.... So, go live life like it was pre Covid and have some fun.

This place is small. Great open dining areas, bit there are only a handful of vendors. The beer bar is awesome! And there is a fried chicken place Ive heard good things about..but the rest of the food was not good at all. We tried burgers and the kbbq spot. Kbbq was mediocre. Nothing special. The burger joint was weird. The burger had weird taste and smell.. and the slaw in the middle was horrible.. oh I also ordered the hot dog bagel but that was a total waste of money. Doh wrapped in clakey dough.. but was overcooked so after one bite, the outside just broke apart. Disappeared.. I probably wont be back until they get better vendors. The place in general is cool butthe food needs an upgrade for sure.

We got our food from Barrio: Filipino & Korean BBQ. I got the bulgogi plate and my friend got the shrimp. You choose your protein, Filipino or Korean pickle, side, and add-ons. I chose bulgogi, side of fried egg, rice and Filipino pickle (mixed with pickled fresh mango, carrot, and green papaya). My friend got the same thing except with shrimp. It was delicious. Fresh off the grill type. DELICIOUS.

Went to duck doughnuts. Absolutely phenomenal doughnuts that are made to order and have great flavor. If you havent experienced this place yet, do yourself a favor and head on over. This location in particular has a ping pong table that when you give them your ID you can play while youre waiting for the delicious doughnuts.

Went by on random Wednesday for lunch. Overpriced food, OK but not great, and super slow service for no crowds at all. If youve been to one of these food halls, then youve been to them all.

Great atmosphere, pretty great food, lot of fun to go with a group of friends. Pretty good variety of food as well. Good beer, even for someone that usually isnt a huge fan of it.Food can take quite a while at times though, many restaurants are just not suited for streamlined service, so be prepared to wait. Definitely worth it.

I spent $9 and I didn’t even finish it.Also, no free water.Also, bathrooms are locked.The atmosphere is a gimmicky with the shipping containers. The place feels like a marketing department was tasked with renovating a high school cafeteria. The customer service and food is as contrived as the decor.Save your money.

Im a first timer and I had a show to get to. So didnt really explore much except Beachwood brewing and I got some tacos I believe at Barrio. The Sadie, from the brewery was tasty. Tacos were good but I believe I got bulgogi and it was 6 bucks a taco.

Pretty cool spot a little pricey for food basically 2 breakfast sandwiches for $23 and they werent anything special egg, 2 strips of Bacon, cheese on a bun. The atmosphere was nice real family oriented and friendly people.

Really good food and beer and fun atmosphere! It can get crowded on weekends when theres live music. Sadly, some places are closed and vacant right now.

Theyre taking pretty good precautions for Covid-19 while also maintaining their outdoor seating. The choices for food were really cool. This was my first time here and I went to Barrios. The plate look kind of small for the price at first, but it filled me up completely so it was well worth the price. Definitely going to come back soon.

If you are looking some top notch gourmet burgers, The Penalty Box is a must. The Broken Rib burger is so good with the wagu beef. Topped off with bourbon bbq short rib meat, Yum. And the Triple Deke bacon wrapped polish sausage is great. Topped with braised pulled pork, and 3 cheese fondue.But if you are looking for something sweet? Duck Donuts is the place for you. They have made to order customizable donuts. Fried in delicious rich, duck fat. This gives the donuts such a rich and delicious flavor you do not find just anywhere. The maple, bacon bit donut hits the spot on the salty sweet notes.

Fun place and a great band playing!

Love walking here from the local neighborhood, grabbing a bite, playing some retro arcade games with the kid and sitting at the outside tables watching the local game. That said, all the food here is about as good as a solid food truck, nothing mind-blowing.

Amazing atmosphere: DJ on weekend nights, tons to do (cornhole, table tennis, arcade, porch swing), fun lighting, gated outdoor eating. Great variety of food but all vendors are overpriced. Perfect for date night or chillin with friends or family (kids welcome).
