This dealership posted ads on Autotrader, advertising at reasonable prices. I called and spoke to their internet sales manager, she quoted me slightly higher price than the advertised price, but still reasonable. I drove an hour after work to see the car and was told that the price was more than 14k over the price quoted earlier. I suggest anyone who read this to never do business with a dishonest dealership. If they do this to you before money exchange hands, imagine what they would do after.

DO NOT GOING TO THEM AT ALL!!! If I could give this business place a zero star I will, this place has ridiculously wait if you try to do the service and just prepare yourself to wait for all day for a simple oil change. First of all, they don’t send you any confirmation email or text when you book service online, and they will change your appointment time after they done the service to save themselves. All they told you is “just about 10-15 wait ok?” And that 10-15mins turn into over at least an hour wait. THIS IS THE ONLY TOYOTA FACILITY THAT I HAVE VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH.

Had an appointment for 11am but got there early, drove up from San Diego, and dropped my car off around 1030-1040am. I was told my car would be ready no later than 2pm. 2pm comes around, no call. 3pm comes around, no call. I called Toyota place at 3:30pm asking for an update or information on the status of my vehicle. After being passed around, hung up on and sent to a voicemail that was full I decided to cook off and wait till I received a call. 4:10pm I get a call from Andy letting me know my car is ready for pick up. I explained to him how frustrated I was about not receiving a courtesy call notifying me my car was taking longer than expected. I live in San Diego but drove here for service because it would give me time to spend with my son, hence the appointment I’m the morning so I could plan accordingly and make it home in time to walk/feed my dog. That clearly wasn’t the case. I then added how unfair it is for a customer to complete change their schedule because of lack of communication and have to pay the amount that was due for the service. He told me that the 10,000mile service was complimentary under plan. This was news to me so I was taken aback and he chuckled as if being a complimentary service was supposed to make things better. What about the time I lost? The time I didn’t get to spend with my son? Now I have to rush back to San Diego and pray I make it before my dog uses the bathroom in my home. Time is a valuable thing. Especially for someone who is in the military and gets deployed, like me. I don’t see my son often, thank you Toyota place for making that time even less.

My experience with this toyota place is the worse i ever had . The mechanics there are bad don’t go there . They make wait for 4 hours for an oil change . That was my first time taking it so i though they where busy . This last time they mess my navigation that they didn’t but it back how it was . I call them and they ask me to take it for the mistake they done . Its like they think we have time to go again for when they mess up i work two job i had my boyfriend take my car . The second time and again they had tomess something up . Don’t go to this toyota is the worse place to get n oil change or anything

Dont listen to the Salespeople. Theyll tell you one thing and once youre ready to sign theyll change the script. READ EVERYTHING or ATLEAST ask what youre signing. The person that dealt with us seemed annoyed that we kept asking questions. First time buying a car and this experience was the WORST.We tried walking away several times, but they wouldnt hand us back our IDs.DEFINITELY dont recommend this place. ALSO, they are not an official toyota dealership apparently, as we were told.Check their Website before going in as they will try to charge you more than their online prices.

Reviewing this to remind me not to get services here if I could go somewhere else’s or see a different representative.1) Of all the customers in their cars waiting for services in the services lanes, a man had to pick me to say “I need you to stay here in your car and not go anywhere” in a condescending tone. Why? Is it because I’m a young female?(thinking out loud)2) The service consultant recommended multiple maintenances based on vehicle mileage without any diagnostic. Yet when I asked him to request for a look at whether my seat belt sensor was disconnected, he insisted I need to get a diagnostic first for somewhere over $100. Additionally he mentioned that he could’ve waived the diagnostic fee but it would be hard because I’m only doing minor maintenances and declined other recommended, which I stated I’ll get this one service done somewhere else. If over $1,400 after coupon in maintenance without any repair is minor maintenance, I seriously rethinking about buying another Toyota. This service rep never asked if I wanted the complimentary car wash unless I ask, on both this and my last visit. He also seemed to not want to print my cost estimate or inspection sheet until I asked for their copies.I’ve came here for services many times. The service reps were usually very friendly, happy and professional. These last two visits make me feel like I’m going there to be cash cow/picked on.

This place is purely bait and switch. I got quoted through truecar and penfed for 43k for a based 2021 Toyota Sienna XLE. That already includes more than 2k of their added accessories like door sills and tow hitch. When I got to a dealer they slapped on another 10k, of which 5k is for Market Adjustment and the other 5k is for their Security Packages. I get it you got to sell your products and earn your commissions, but dont be a greedy one, dont lie to your customers and waste their time.Randy Doan please stops presenting misinformation in your response. Truecar does list all the accessories included with the car. What they dont include is Tax Title License which I was fully aware of. This is not my first car purchase through TrueCar/PenFed. Acura DCH in Tustin and Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach honored their quotes and made it a seamless car buying process. You guys on the other hand were not and trying to rip off the uneducated customers out there to make a living. Who would pay 62k OTD for a based Toyota Sienna XLE?????

I have to say that when you have an appointment for an oil change it shouldnt take two hours. I always talk to the tech and I make sure to let them know I just want the service that I am there for dont need my car wash or anything else. I am a single parent that works and this is my only form of transportation and wasting two hours for an oil change for me its not visible. I do appreciate the tech and mangers that have helped me get out of there on time. thank you and hope not to sound rude but please understand where I am coming from.

Ani is extremely awesome at his job. My catalytic converter was stolen for the 2nd time in 6 months! I called to make sure they had the part. he said to bring it in. he helped out in getting a rental car. he was able to send photos and a quote to geico and get an approval. he was able to get all this done in 1 day!! Thanks my friend. avoid south coast toyota. this same process took 7-8 days of there.

Scheduled a service maintenance appointment. When i arrived the service department was overwhelmed with vehicles waiting to greeted much less serviced. I was told a service representative would be right with me and to wait in my vehicle. 20 minutes goes by and still no contact with a representative. At this point upset and stressed out i went in search of a manager ro which i was told he wouldnt be there for another 10 minutes. So to make this story short I left and went directly to another dealer just 6 minutes away and was immediately greeted and service was written up within 5 minutes of getting there....what a difference!!! Thank you Elmore Toyota!!!!!!

Received some recall notice letters on airbags and possible stalling at high speed for my Corolla yesterday morning on my day off. Went immediately to Toyota Place without an appointment (was expecting to get rejected for service, but decided to try my luck on my day off from work). Met a woman named Cindy, and she was very gracious and willing to get my Corolla fixed. And better yet, there was still a free Toyotacare service for my Corolla so they did that at the same with recall fixes. Very happy with the fixes and service, thanks Toyota Place!

I have an issue with the service. At 25K they supposed to do a maintenance on the car which is called complementary service so Im a little confused In my paperwork says service synthetic oil 25,000 mi complementary also theres another saying inspect and adjust all fluid levelsA week after I did this complimentary service I checked my level oil in my coolant in this very low so my question is they really do something to the cars?????Are they only inspected and dont do what they say by writing......? Long story short, we asked for a TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE on the car that was on site, was quoted an ESTIMATED price by Helen internet specialist, confirmed with her that that estimate was indeed the total purchase price. Showed the email to the sales rep he said great let me show you the car AFTER AGAIN CONFIRMING THE PRICE, AND REPEATING THAT THIS WAS THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE, HE AGREED. After spending 2 hours on the lot, test driving the car we wanted, being passed around from person to person, the total price BEFORE TAXES was approximately $12,000 more than what was quoted initially. TWELVE. NOT ONE OR TWO, TWELVE! Total waste of time and energy. Bait and switch alive and well here. From now on Im supporting Autonation, Tesla, Carmax and Carvana. At least these companies are honest about their prices. Horrible experience. Shop somewhere else all. These people lie like a rug.

I used to be a car salesman for close to a decade. And not much has changed. Toyota of garden grove still displays the same perspective of how to sell cars. Bunch of sales people waiting outside ready to overly greet you upon stepping onto the lot. A sea of autos to look at and a barage of questions to answer. I was just curious to see the shape and size of a car...the interior looks and so forth. At least they paid attention to me and were somewhat polite. I dont take offense, however a sales person talked to me in Spanish, which I found to be a tad bit odd, unusually I wouldnt profile someones race / ethnicity/ or even language... as a starting point. Yet, I do speak a variety of languages, I would recommend their staff to ask which language would be preferred before moving into full sales approach. Beyond that, the place was clean and orderly.

Theyre quick on attending once you pull over. Everybody is wearing a mask, hand sanitizer are available. Cindy game a call after couple of hours and left me know whats wrong with my vehicle and provide payment options. Cost are bit pricey but they nice enough to give 20% discount. I came here to get my 2012 Rav4 key fob cover ($67)replaced after it got ran over a few years ago and the guys at parts got my replacement part ordered, arrived, & installed the next day! I had to come back on Saturday to get the key fob programmed($175) due to work obligations and the guys over at service gave me a estimated time of completion of 1.5-2 hr originally but Im looking at the clock and they actually finished in 1.15 minutes. I also liked learning of the complimentary car wash. The only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is because $175 for programming was a lot more than I planned to spend but it is what it is. Overall, good service from this experience.

Specially the big bold latino I guess manager? They promised me Free GAP but they charged me for it. I bought my first car at South Coast Toyota in Costa Mesa and they are Honest! The finance manager. Was horrible. Never even tried to negogiate. Very rude did even care if we bought or walked away. Basically said F you . We went to el more Toyota such professionalism. Bought the same car we were looking at there. At El More Toyota was and is awesome. El More Toyota is great. Hope you guys learn a little from them . A little patience and respect goes along way. I feel bad for the young man trying to make his sale. But the Vietnamese finance manger ruined it for him. Even though we tried to negotiate a price for the car at El More Toyota they didnt give up. I was caring for our car and got a service. While waiting indoor in the seating/working area, a lady spoke very loudly on her cellphone, so I tried to remind her politely to speak outdoor. She refused, she even purposely spoke in front of me VERY loudly. I reminded her again. No change. So I recorded her. Recently purchased a new Rav4 here after dealing with online sales managers at multiple SoCal locations. This was one of the few dealers willing to provide a compete OTD quote over email and beat every other local dealer that would by a good margin. I half expected to have to fight for the email quoted price (has happened at other dealers in the past) but these guys honored it without issue. No added fees, no up-selling - just the exact vehicle/options I wanted without all the typical dealer headache. Painless process - I probably only spent 3 total hours on the lot from test drive to finance to driving it home.Id definitely buy another vehicle here and wouldnt hesitate to point family members in the same direction.

My brother made an appointment there at 11 to take his truck in for an alarm problem. After 3 hours of them saying that his rotors I needed to be done and had not even touch the alarm it wasnt even on their books for them to do the alarms and thats why he made the appointment because he was told it needs to be done on a weekday. Brought my sisters 2020 Rav4 for service since there was a parasitic draw of over 800mAh. The receptionist did not write all the problems we explained to her. We got the car back two days later but we had the same problem so we took the car back but wrote a list of problems with the car. They ended up calling me the same day telling me the car was fixed with a software update they needed to install. Thanks to the employees that how to listen to the customers 😁

I found a 4Runner I was interested in at this dealership and contacted the Internet Sales Manager. I received a quote on Saturday afternoon around 3pm and setup an appointment to see the vehicle and discuss potential purchase at 10am Sunday morning, less than 24 hrs after receiving the quote. When we sat down to finalize the deal the vehicle price was now $2K higher than the quote. When we pointed this out they tried to explain that the market changed, that is price, take it or leave it. They would not honor the quote. Beware if you are thinking of doing business with this group.

We are very thankful to Tony Nguyen and Winwin at Toyota Place in Garden Grove! We felt very comfortable with the entire process. And they took care of us as if we were family.The day before we went to Tustin Toyota looking to make a deal however the salesman was not able to think of all the best options for us so sadly we had to walk away and has no experience. He wasnt listening to us at all.Here at Toyota place, Tonys level of expertise and experience showed leaps and bounds compared to the person we were dealing with at tustin. He was straightforward and got our details very efficiently without having to ask us. We had to do a trade-in so it was not a matter of picking the new car and walking away.We have never had to do a trade-in before so it was good that we learned the whole concept at tustin but I felt that I had to do all the research and play all the scenarios out. When we met Tony he gave us the exact scenario that we should have gotten to but never arrived at Tustin Toyota. Felt like we wasted our day there.I will just share you the attention to detail which I liked about Tony and Winwin. They worked like a perfect well oiled machine. And at the very end, when we were moving our stuff from our lexus to toyota...Winwin actually carried our heavy items into our new car. I was impressed bc the sale was technically done. This was just all above and beyond.Another thing that I liked was that, my wife is pregnant so we have been there now for 3+ hrs so she was getting very hungry..I asked Winwin if he had any cookies...he gave me whatever he had in his desk. I visited this dealership with my mom. She had to bring her car in to repair an issue with the paint applied to the vehicle when it was manufactured (several panels had areas of peeling paint). I was highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the service she received from the very beginning of the process. Here are some examples of the poor service she received: Although she had an appointment, she was ignored and when acknowledged she was tossed from one person to another. When she finally was directed to the advisor that would be assisting her, he (Eddie Romero) was rude, very short, did not explain the process and did not provide any guidance on the next steps. She ended up in a rental car for over a week, the car was promised on a specific date, needless to say it was delayed; she did not receive an update of any sort, just a missed call with no voice message. Once the car was ready, the same occured, only this time it was two missed calls, again with no message to indicate the nature of the call. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle we did not know who we should see for assistance (this information was not provided to her when she called back). After seeing the cashier a young lady (Kristine Nguyen) ushered us over to her desk and assisted us in getting in contact with the assigned advisor (she was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kind btw). The advisor did not come out of his office to greet us or to ask us if we had any questions or concerns about the service performed; he simply gave Kristine some paperwork and asked her to get a signature. We had to ask to see him to get our questions answered. He, again, did not display the professionalism one would expect. His attitude was dismissive and again quite rude. He did not have the knowledge that I believe an advisor should have regarding the recall which we later found out was an extended warranty. I asked to speak with the service manager, Mr. Andy, who is new to this location but has 30+ years managing Toyota dealerships. Andy was very respectful, kind and truly listened to our concerns. Andys challenge will be to change the current culture of this team, based on our experience, he has an uphill battle. Side note: my mom has been coming to this dealership for years and has never had a good experience (she only kept coming due to the convenience of distance). This was the last straw, however, after speaking with Andy, she will be giving them another opportunity. Hopefully her next experience will be a more positive one. If it is, I will provide an update on my rating.

Pulled into the parts and service section to buy some parts however they said no, youre on the wrong side you have to go to the other side. Went to the other side paid for the parts and had to drive back to the other side to receive our parts. While waiting with my kids in the car an employee starts smoking right in front of my vehicle where there is clearly a no smoking sign? Wth! Please be respectful of your customers and be more professional smoke elsewhere then in front of the doors to your company.

Have purchased relatively small number of vehicles from big wheeling dealers but the sales guys at this location no jiggery-pokers, we told the the amazing, the knight of the road, Alex our budget. It was customized according to our likings and the entire transaction was concluded without any kidology. The salesperson didn’t try to sell anything extra but worked with us for our satisfaction instead of his benefit. Best experience. The finance guy Jip was equally fantastic. For best car buying experience, I strongly recommend this place!

It all started with a simple online inquiry. Helen promptly sent an email with details of the car I specifically asked for, and gave me pricing with discounts. I dropped by the lot and was introduced to their sales team. Then, came Karina who was so helpful. She tried to locate the car I want with the help of their generous manager, Mr. Jeff. Unfortunately, the car with specific exterior and interior color I was looking wasn’t available.After 3 weeks, I got a phone call from Karina who informed me that the car I want just came in. I went straight to the lot to see the car, still wrapped in plastic, exactly the one I want. Karina came in even on her day off and facilitated the papers needed. And they still honored the price discount they originally gave. My family is so happy and satisfied with the transactions, we were all done by 8:30 pm and came home with the car. Vincent Ford is an excellent internet sales rep. Unlike the common pushy car sales reps, he is Not. Vincent is very friendly & helpful. He connects to you on a personal level. I bought my Camry here through Costco price and the price was decent. My brother in law got ripped off by a Vietnamese salesman. A used truck more expensive than a new truck. It just doesnt make any sense to me. Never trust any Vietnamese salesman or finance guy. I will not buy new cars at this dealer again. AVOID THIS DEALER.

One of the most unethical dealership Ive been to. They provided a formal quote to get you in. Then does the bait and switch when youre ready to do the paperwork. Tried to add on another 3K with pre-installed alarms and paint warranty. When you refuse both, they say they made a mistake and cant honor their original offer. Wouldnt not recommend anyone.

I went in for maintenance service early morning today. I planned on waiting for my car and brought my breakfast sandwich with me. The dealership was short-staffed and they were out of coffee at the customer lounge. A lot of people tried to get coffee, but there was none to have. I approached the Cashier, Christine, for help getting the coffee pot refilled. She looked for the person in charge but when no one was available, she eventually asked a fellow employee to show her how to make coffee and did it herself. 5 stars for Christine! 3 stars for the person responsible for this job. Service advisor was nice, nothing to complain about (and nothing outstanding either).

Stay away....Was given a TrueCar price of $26,800:for a vehicle. When I got there, I found they added over $4000 worth of “accessories” not wanted or needed that they wouldn’t remove. An employee actually laughed because I thought I’d get the actual TrueCar price. Toyota of Orange is much more honest.

In all my years i have never experienced such harassment and disrespect. My husband, daughter, and I decided to go car shopping here and boy do we regret it. We went in looking to buy a new vehicle and my husband having experience in buying many vehicles he went in with a plan to get the best price possible. The first person to help us was Andy Nguyen who showed us several vehicles and after we finally decided on getting a 2020 Toyota Highlander. Knowing we have excellent credit, we knew we would qualify for the best interest. My husband started negotiating the price with Andy and gave him an offer. After giving him an offer Andy looked at my husband and told him he would try his best but no promises. Andy then went and called over one of his Managers, the manager then said How much are you offering?.....Where are you getting these numbers from? Laughed at my husband and then looked over at Andy and told him Good luck with this man cause i cant help you and i dont know where he is getting these numbers from. From that moment my husband was furious and was ready to walkout, right when we were going to leave a another supervisor came to us and said, No sir dont leave, we are here to help you. The supervisor then told my husband that they would take his offer. Anyways finally after all the negotiations we were taken to Albert the finance guy to finalize and sign contract. Who was also not that nice and started mumbling badmouthing my husband. This was by far the most unprofessional and childish person, he wouldnt even let me husband speak. I DONT KNOW WHY WE DIDNT WALK OUT! He gave us a receipt for $2500 and when we asked multiple times, not once did he explain what it was and instead changed the subject. After many hours we were so done with them we were glad to leave. Now days after we purchased vehicle we have been harassed by numerous calls during the day while im at work from Andy and Albert wanting bank statements. Why do they need bank statements when i have excellent credit. I am done with these crooks!!! I do not recommend this place! So unprofessional and rude! No respect whatsoever to their customers.

Toyota Place did a great job and it was a pleasurable experience. First impression is this place is huge! They have a whole other lot just for used cars that just kept going and going.Their inventory on new cars was also impressive. I was looking for a Tacoma and they had several models in stock with different packages and options. Jorge met me at the front office and we took one for a test drive. He was very knowledgeable about all the features, which was very helpful!Once inside he offered drinks in the Lounge area before we got the paperwork started. I was able to get a great price on the Tacoma with both Jorge and Eddies help. Everyone was very professional and even the gentleman in the finance office, I believe his name was Fuji, was very quick. This was one of the fastest car buying experiences and I will go back to the dealer again!Thank you for everything!

Shout out to sales rep Alex and the sales manager Carlos. We are in the market to lease a Tacoma and there is a shortage in the inventory right now. Unfortunately, we did not end up leasing one from here because the only option they have was a little over what we wanted to spend. The reason why I really like them is because they did not just say they don’t have a Tacoma in stock and turned their back like 4 other dealers we had been last weekend or they did not marked up their cars above their MSRP’s. They tried to find a solution for us. They try to work on a deal for a higher trim without being aggressive. They are true salesmenThank you
