Was looking to lower my CTR and Ballade had springs in stock and could install them this week. Easy schedule setup and got there a bit late due to work stuff but the guys got me in and done quick. Was told 2-3 hours to get it done but it only took about 90 mins. Thanks for the quick service.

Team of high skilled professionals that treat the car as if it is their own. I typically trust mechanics as far as I can throw them but not the case here. The whole team takes time to explain everything they are doing and points out any cause of concern that may need attention to. Owner and the team was kind enough to give me a discount on my ECU even though they didnt have to. Full tune and install! Will be taking my s2000 back soon.

Gave Ballade sports a chance when I saw they had a Type R Grille made. Ordered one and was looking forward to it. The website said they had it on stock and i never received updates for a couple weeks until I called and they said oh yes weve been trying to reach you, its actually out of stock and will be a couple more weeks waited two more weeks (when they said it would arrive) and nothing had even shipped. Called a second time and they told me they still havent received it and to wait 3 more weeks. Im not mad at them for something they cant control but they didnt even reach out and keep up with their inventories online.

Bad return policy, 25% restock fee regardless of size or price. This policy is transparent but that doesn’t make it any better. Also they sell parts as OEM Honda that are not from Honda. They are from the same manufacturer so the quality is good, but they don’t come with the Honda package. Not a huge deal but if you wanted to sell them later you wouldn’t be able to get near as much. I feel this is shady for a number of reasons. Over all not bad, but if I had the option to go somewhere else I would.

Ballade Sports had the part I needed in stock and shipped it immediately. It’s great customer service! They even threw the clutch alignment tool at the past minute which I forgot to order! Great service! Five stars!

Terrible. I bought something, and it never came. They never contacted me. If I did not remember the order (from over a month ago) and emailed them first, they would have never contacted me and I would have lost that money. 100% will NOT be doing business with them again.Edit: the reason i will not be doing business with them again is not because of the part. It is because of the***lack of communication***.If i did not contact them, they would have never contacted me and i would have lost that money.Edit 2: i ordered the exact same thing from a different company. I have to comeback and put my comment in here again, Eric from Ballade sports called my personal phone to ask me to take down my comment, Eric thinks he can intimidate a customer and hold my springs hostage. i Ordered swift springs from Ballade sports on 05/21/21 they took my money $368 and never told me that the springs were on back order, once i left a negative review on their google business name and account Eric miraculously called when i have been waiting for a call for 4 weeks! Not only did Eric ask me to take down my comment because it damages his business he also asked me to end my dispute wit Affirm which i refuse to do so i will not be intimidated into deleting anything Eric dont call and refund me my money, i will never, never do business with you or your crazy company. Issue refund product not wanted from your business.

Ordered a part for my s2000 from Ballade.Shipped super fast and when I had a slight issue installing it, I sent them an email and they quickly called me and walked me through install.Never have I had such fantastic customer service from a company before.If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I came in today to get my cars rear bushings fixed, rear brakes installed and got my coil overs installed to lower my car. Alex is top notch! He wants what’s best for your car. My 05’ s2000 needed someone with his experience to go in and help fix what needed to be fixed. I drove from San Diego because they are the best. They want the same things I want from my s2000. For it to last until I retired which is miles away. If you have high mileage don’t give up just take it to see Alex&staff and they will inform you if it’s worth it, they’ll give you all your options to help you make the best decision. Got my AP1 tuned on Doctronics. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and the rest of the staff were kind. The tuner was amazing, fine tuning my car on all ends. He ended up refusing to let me leave until I was happy w/ the tune and how it drove, both on WOT and daily driving. Appreciate the Ballade Team. If you want people who know their stuff and would treat your car like their own, Ballade is the place to go.

This is my goto shop for the s2000. I drive all the way from Santa Cruz (Northern California) to come here. I have 294,000 miles on my 2004 Ap2 s2000 and it’s thanks to Alex and his guys it’s made it this far. They always recommend the right maintenance to do at the right time for the best price.

Do not shop here! Avoid ordering parts here at all cost. I can’t believe they can run a business the way they do and still remain open. The worst customer service experience. We ordered parts for our S2000 here, got the wrong item. We shipped it back and they claimed they never received it. The tracking says it was delivered and dropped off. Made it sound like my husband was lying and that’s just not how you handle business.Update: Please don’t pretend you care about your customers because we posted a review on here. US Postal service did Geo tracking and it was indeed dropped off at Ballade Sports address.

Great shop that will take care of your S2000. Got a rebuilt head on my AP1. Everything was done right. Alex was good to work with; he didnt push anything unnecessary. On the drive home after picking up my car, the overflow tank cracked. Drove right back and Alex was able to replace my 20 year old yellow plastic tank with a new one right away. Im lucky to have Ballade Sports 10 minutes from home!

This is the only place you should ever be taking your s2000 hands down... or any sport car for that matter. These guys are honest, very professional, great on communication, reasonably priced compared to other shops and very knowledgeable of their craft. There is an obvious passion that they have for sport cars unlike any other. That’s what separates them from the rest. They actually care for the car.The 2 times I have taken my two different s2000s to them I literally fall in love with the car all over again. Great shop entirely! I had great communication with quick response even though i contacted them through instagram messenger. Very smooth interaction overall, service was arranged quickly. I had a clutch and flywheel replacement done on my 03 s2000. Very up front and honest, they recommended but did not push other work that my car needs done. Will 100% return in the future. So glad I found ballade!

Not the first time I’ve dealt with this shop since I already knew they sold the parts I was looking for. Instead of calling they had an option to text them (for those of us who don’t really like to talk hahah) sent a message confirming availability, I pressed purchase and my part showed up the next day. I’m still on the market for a few other items but I definitely will source what I can threw them for sure.

If you have an s2000, theres only one place to go! Ballade does quality work with quality parts. I brought my AP2 in for oil/fluids and an initial check-up after purchasing it, and the mechanics are thorough and honest in the diagnosis. I came back a month later for motor mounts, clutch master cylinder and a few other bits and I couldnt be happier with how the car is performing. Everybody at the shop is friendly, welcoming, and helps you understand the work being done. Ill be back soon!

LIFE SAVERS!!!! While trying to do my own oil change I discovered my vehicle had a stripped oil drain bolt from a previous shop. Enraged and in tight jam before my thanksgiving travels, I contacted Ballade a half hour before the shop was to close and without hesitation they took my car in, used my products I had previously purchased and stayed open after closing hours and took care of my bolt and oil change. Alex, Victor and the team at Ballade Sports are legit! They were nothing short of being professional, knowledgeable and transparent. I made the drive up from SD to complete a valve adjustment, serpentine belt replacement and was on the fence in replacing the TCT as many threads online suggested. No so much as because my engine was symptomatic, but more as a preventative measure.Upon arrival, Alex took the time to explain the rationale of how a TCT and a timing gear affected the performance of the S. It didn’t come off as pushy, but rather informative. He reiterated this was a suggestion only if needed once the engine was inspected.The S was then assessed and worked on by Victor, he was very personable and I could tell he knew S2Ks like the back of his hand. A true master mechanic! He asked for me to come back and showed me that he replaced the serpentine belt and all I needed was a valve adjustment, nothing more.All throughout my time hanging in the shop, they kept me informed if the status of the S. Overall they made my trip from SD an enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning for all my maintenance, repairs and performance needs! Cheers guys!

Ballade Sports is the place to go if you have an S2000. I have brought my S here multiple times, and have always been satisfied with their work. Main reason I go here is because they are familiar and specialize with the S2000. They are always professional and friendly, and if you have a question, they are very knowledgeable as well. Ive been to Ballade many times now for my s2000 and each time I have a great experience. The first few times I needed minor help but since then Ive had them help with super charger issues, engine failure, etc. They have saved me from having to get a new long block as another shop recommended and diagnosed the issue was a rocker seizing and only needed the head work.So when it came time to do a valve adjustment and motor mounts, I knew I should take it back here to Alex and his crew. After he explained the issues that he noticed in great detail, we agreed on what I would like to have done and he promptly went to work. Anytime I need work done, Ill come by Ballade, its worth the almost 3 hr drive.

Fast service, got my soft top done. Happy with the result. Alex is very knowledgeable. Will be going back for future sevice.

The only shop i take my car for service because i see Ballade Sports more of a community rather than a shop. Recently took my car for a valve adjustment. For a 20k mile interval, post adjustment difference is already night and day. Victor took care of my car with TLC like his own and i learned a lot from his suggestions. I truly suggest this shop for all S2000 owners here in SoCal. I trust Ballade Sports and will always take my car there going forward.

Well I am sure the parts are of good quality but tried to cancel my order before it was shipped but no reply back so now I have some injectors I dont need. Dont wanna try to return due to lack of communication. Anybody need some brand new 410cc injectors for s2000 with the adapter harness? $200.

First time here and was extremely pleased with the work that was done on my 2007 S2000.Alex was professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic of working on S2000s and would definitely be coming back next time I need something done.

The team at Ballade Sports were extremely enthusiastic yet knowledgable during my first visit, they went above and beyond to help me service my S2000. They helped fixed previous stripped bolt holes on the chassis that were stripped from the previous owner, installed my brand new carbon fiber hard top, replaced my clutch master cylinder, and installed a new timing chain tensioner as preventative maintenance. They did all of this within a few hours and gladly answered any questions I had regarding the car. Great local tuner shop with a fantastic selection of aftermarket or oem parts that provides professional installations in house. I will definitely be coming back in the near future for my S2000 needs.

Ballade has a delinquent California Bureau of Repair license for automotive repair and should not be repairing cars according to the State of California. I went into this shop to have some repair work done to my transmission. These guys are very friendly when you come into the shop and you think that its a trustworthy shop with all the s2000s in there (the shop owner said he owns 8 s2000s so who knows how many are his own). I was talked into many preventative repairs that were not necessary. I was told I needed to put down a 50% deposit, even though they had at least half the parts in stock (they push their own brand of car parts). I scheduled my repairs for the following week. After I found out that some of the repairs werent needed (similar to other online reviews) and that unnecessary performance parts were being sold to me ($$$) I decided not to get the repairs done. Alex, the shop owner, became very aggressive and tried to leverage my security deposit so that I could not back out of the work saying that I owed them for parts (that were never installed) I had to do a charge back on my credit card and report them the State of California. They also are holding on to my key fob and will not return it which will cost me $150 to replace from Honda.

I ordered their roll bar for my s2000 because they have the most reinforced bolt-on roll bar Ive seen on the market, following NASA regulations, and not to mention the only one Ive seen with free shipping. I ordered it thinking it was going to take a couple months to manufacture and ship because thats what I was told to expect, but now its less than a week after ordering and I get a personal call from ballade sports telling me that my roll bar was not only on its way, but they are sending me new design that has welded gussets for no additional cost because Im the first to receive the new design. Im super excited and very well pleased with the customer service. I cant wait to install this thing.

Have not been here physically but have had 2 of their timing chain tensioners (on different s2000s). Alex was very helpful over the phone even considering my question was about an older version of a product

I drove out of my way to get a part from them when I ask them if they could help me out and explain exactly how to install it they said only an experienced mechanic can do it last time Im mechanically inclined but if theres anything special involved with the disassembly should I know anything they said that we would do the install or you can take the part and give it to your mechanic to do it

Hands down the best service Ive received from a service shop. Alex took about 15-20 to trouble shoot not just my blown wheel bearing but also several motor issues to include possible sources of leaks, need to replace spark plugs, and timing chain issues.Heres the best part.After showing me everything wrong, the negative outcomes it can have on the performance and overall life of the motor, we sat down and he outlined all the issues, the costs, and his recommendations for budgeting and where the money should be focused. No pressure, no bullying, just clear, concise, professional conduct. Ill definitely be sticking with this shop for the entirety of my time in SoCal.

Alex has been the only person to work on my S2000 for any major mechanical issues that I cant handle myself the last 5 years. Extremely knowledgable and friendly guy.If your S needs work, hes a guy you can trust with your car.

I bought a hardtop from them two years ago and Alex bs through the entire transaction. I paid almost $3,000 for their prototype hardtop which was supposedly in stock. Well 4 months later after the transaction I still had no hardtop and no refund. My name is Danny Perez Incase your looking thru your files Alex from Ballade.I called Ballade chronically for an update and also by email. Finally my credit card company stepped in and then Alex stated to call me to try to work it out. This shop is a joke and after dropping $3,000 on one transaction to receive bad customer service is ridiculous. They try to mimic Spoon Sports and Toda merchandise which is joke. Their innovation,quality, and authenticity on their products does not support what Alex preaches verbally. Basically all warranty, customer services goes down the toilet right after you swipeyour credit card.Previously I read a review about Alex “ghosting” on customers after the transaction is finalized or a customer request a refund after a part fails. The customer who previously stated that is 100% correct. Alex and staff behavior during my s2000 hard top was very similar.

So back in November I purchased a timing chain tensioner (TCT) from Ballade for my S2000. I installed it per their recommended steps on their website. Drove the car and noticed the TCT was causing an over tensioned timing chain. I contacted Alex to process a return and asked for a return label. I was told that sending a return label was not standard procedure for them and I needed to pay for the return. Once the TCT was in their possession BS needed to test the TCT on their test bench in order to validate my claim. So I paid the $12 to send the TCT back to BS using the listed address on their website. Only to find out the address on their website isnt complete and USPS didnt know where the part was. So I asked Alex for the correct address and once the part came back I would send it back to them. I then asked Alex for a refund once the part was in his possession because this whole process was ridiculous and after that Alex ghosted and never responded to my email. I asked my credit card company for a refund and got it back with a contingency. Fast forward three weeks and the TCT shows up on my door. Using the address Alex gave me I resent the part. Again USPS couldnt find the address and the part got sent to me again. So if anyone is thinking about purchasing anything from Ballade Sports Id high recommend against it. All of this could have been avoided if Alex had sent me a return label and we could have gone off on our merry way. Moral of the story is dont be penny wise and pound foolish.
